We were looking for "the best tamales in Polanco" and came across Siembra Comedor. We also were told it was a Michelin restaurant. Unfortunatel, location wise, for its business, Siembra is on the outer edge and not close to the heart of Polanco. I suspect this hurts business a bit. However the decor, service and food were all very good. We each ordered one of the two tamales on the "entrada " menu. They were both delicious. We then shared the "fish of the day" cooked in a corn husk. We enjoyed with blue corn tortilla.. It was also very good. For dessert we shared what could be best described as a Mexican styled rice pudding. It was "ok", and in competing with other preceding dishes, the dessert was clearly the low point. There also appears to be a "walk up" window for a variety of tamales para llevar. We will be coming back to try that. Definitely a recommended restaurant. Enjoy.
