15 Top International Restaurants

"A Polanco kitchen and tortillería that elevates Mexican regional cuisines by centering heirloom corn tortillas made daily as the foundation for top-tier proteins. Chefs focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and farmer relationships; signature dishes include fish al pastor and a playful arrachera take on steak frites. The service is fast and lively rather than formal, and the operation’s Bib Gourmand recognition reflects its combination of accessibility, craftsmanship and respect for culinary heritage." - Ksenia Prints

The 14 Best Restaurants In Polanco - Mexico City - The Infatuation

"Siembra started as a beloved Polanco tortillería and taqueria, and in 2023 the owners added a full restaurant next door. And while the menu has expanded too, their masa is still the star of the show. Get the smoky pulpo zarandeado served with fresh tortillas, and enjoy the fact that you don’t have to stand up to eat with salsa dripping down your shirt. This place scores extra points for its rustic, beautifully lit dining room that gives off major old hacienda kitchen vibes. Head here for a first date, and you’ll definitely be in for a fun evening." - guillaume guevara

Really excellent food here - creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. Great service. They also sell some jarred salas that they make. I am pretty sure they also make their tortillas in house. Try to sit inside if possible because we noticed an unfortunate sewer smell outside on the side facing the police station. We moved inside to the bar and it was all good.

Really good place. I would highly recommend. Karina took great care of us. The attention to detail is amazing. The starters were 10/10 (chile de agua and memelita) the mains were good too. The mamey dessert is a most!

So... The food is actually very good (special mention to the escamoles and taco de molleja, which are a 20/10) and the service was amazing! However, the surroundings smelled like sewer and there were a lot of mosquitoes around, and as the restaurant was totally opened, it was inevitable to experience the smell and the mosquitoes.

Funny that what we remember the most about this restaurant is not the food, but where we were seated. We were facing the street that is essentially the offramp to a Main Street and across from the police station, so people watching was top notch. The food though, left a lot to be desired, sadly. Especially since it followed experiencing their tacos at their place down the street earlier in the day. Recommendation to all is make reservations ahead of time and check where you will be seated. We made reservations via Google and it was not a match or something because they could not find us, so do your research and hopefully you don't wind up outside like we did with the view of champions.

Wow. Just wow. This might be my new favorite CDMX dining experience. Incredibly interesting and tasty food/drinks, upscale but friendly vibe. Obviously great care is taken here to ensure a wonderful meal. Highly recommend. Don’t miss it.

Good place. Too bad the construction outside made sitting there unbearable. Dishes are great, but a free meal would have been nice since the drilling new constant

My server Tony was phenomenal. The food was amazing, and loved the atmosphere. Next time I am in MX I will return.

I had a very pleasant time eating at Siembra Comedor with it's diverse menu and welcoming atmosphere. The octopus dish and the delicious house made horchata being the highlight. As well as the octopus I got the marinaded hanger stake which was also amazing. The other dish, the hairless pork skewer was very plain but was still good. The staff were very friendly and despite the language barrier were very patient and helpful. The one downside being the wait time for food. Even though Siembra Comedor was relatively empty it still took 30+ minutes for all of our food to arrive. Our last dish was brought out after our table had been cleared and we were getting ready to leave. Altogether a very positive experience and would recommend.
