This spacious indie coffee shop blends a modern vibe with a talented staff serving world-class brews and delicious bites, perfect for work or relaxation.
"If you haven’t tried Sightglass, the excellent coffee shop/marketplace that had the unfortunate luck of opening in March of 2020, change that this Valentine’s Day. They’re offering a wide variety of specials that include ribeye for two, truffled lasagna, wine and cheese boxes, bouquets of roses, and cookies with personalized messages written on them. Available for pickup and in-store shopping." - brant cox
"The espresso drinks from this coffee shop in the Mission won’t necessarily turn your day around, but their stunning space just might. Their floor-to-ceiling windows letting in tons of natural light look like they’re straight out of a magazine spread, plants hang like leafy halos overhead, and curved wooden booths beckon you to stay for hours. It’s great for a meet-up with a friend who follows multiple interior design pages on Instagram, or any time you need a passable latte and a dose of vitamin D." - Julia Chen
"Located on a stretch of Sycamore Ave. in Hollywood filled with a bunch of high-end tech offices and design stores, Sightglass is basically Disneyland for people who work remotely a lot. The space is massive: multiple indoor seating areas, a back patio, a coffee bar, a food counter, and a mini grocery/wine area. Tables are large and spaced out, making the whole place feel like a well-designed WeWork instead of a neighborhood coffee shop. Also, both the coffee and prepared food (shoutout to the tarragon chicken salad wrap) are very good. Given its location, Sightglass is also a great spot to pick up last minute picnic supplies (cured meats, cheeses, etc) before seeing a show at the Hollywood Bowl." - Brant Cox
"Busy Hollywood daytime spot Sightglass has stellar coffee, but also has a helpful dineLA daytime menu of breakfast biscuit sandwich, fruit, and coffee in the mornings, turkey sandwich and potato salad; or an eggplant parmesan sandwich with quinoa salad. Both the sandwiches come with a beer or wine on tap. Each meal costs $25." - Matthew Kang
"The still brand-new Sightglass in Hollywood’s Media District reopens today as a provisions shop and takeaway coffee option." - Farley Elliott
