"Sojo Ramen launched at the southwest’s Concorde Plaza, less than a dozen doors down from his five-year-old Japanese restaurant. Designed with light wood fixtures and filling 1,200 square feet at the intersection of Warm Springs Road and Jones Boulevard, the casual restaurant is still growing its early menu. Appetizers include a battered and fried tofu, crispy gyoza, kurobuta sausage, flash-fried broccoli, and pork chasu tacos. Ramen bowls with a tonkotsu base include the pork-based Sapporo butter miso, spicy “kuro-goma tantanmen,” and the “Sojo champon” with pork chasu, all ringing in at $12.35 or less. Each can all be upgraded with extra toppings and condiments that include a “flaming” secret recipe option. Also available, steamed, or fried rice bowls, a veggie ramen, and green tea churros for dessert." - Bradley Martin

Google
Such a little shop but the flavors are so good the fried rice YUM would totally come back. Everything in the ramen had flavor and added to it! It was affordable for the portions and quality. Service was great and it was very clean inside as well. Definitely recommend this spot!

OMG, I found a gem on the wall! In this area for a long weekend. and we’ve been looking around for a decent Asian food restaurant, and decided to try this one. But this one is way beyond our expectation. The food is so delicious! The servers is very sweet, soon as we walked in we’ve been greet right away……And environment is so cozy. ohh, and it’s not pricey at all, love this place, highly recommended.

My man absolutely loves this spot. It's definently been his fan favorite for a quick, tasty, and hearty Ramen meal! One thing I love about this spot is their vegetarian options. I like the ability to enjoy a meatless dish every now and then. The service is great and the food comes out quick. The only thing I don't like is when I want to order kimchi I end up having to pay a few dollars extra just to get a side of it to add to my Ramen. So quickly a $12 bowl can add up to $17 with the toppings. The portions are quite generous however. But other than that, this place is a perfect shop to come to satisfy your Ramen fix.

In 2020, I was very sick! We went to this place and I pumped my body full of ramen and hot herbal tea. It literally saved me….This time I got to visit them when I was well! Such great food!!

Google
Oh my…the food is so ono. Fresh noodles! The sauces are incredibly tasty! Gonna come back here for sure. If you love noodles this is the place!

Google
Great small restaurant! Friendly service and good food I had the signature black garlic ramen which was amazing! I also had the karage, which was pretty soft and good to chew, but I missed the crispyness. I would definitely come back

Google
Incredible ramen spot! The flavors are rich, the noodles are perfectly cooked, and the portions are generous. The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. A must-visit for ramen lovers—I’ll definitely be coming back!

As a team, we decided today we would try SOJO Ramen. WOW, I am glad we did. The food was excellent. I ordered the $12.95 Veggie Spicy Garlic Ramen with no tofu but added bean sprouts. I also had the side Chicken Katsu because you know I always have to try the Chicken Katsu if it’s on the menu. The Ramen was well-cooked and had an amazing taste spiced just right. Keep in mind this is enough to share if one was so inclined. The Chicken Katsu at $4.99 was also well-made, just crispy enough and paired perfectly with their Katsu sauce. I will say the staff was friendly but way short-handed for a lunch rush; they could have used another server. But ours did well with what he had. The location doesn’t seat many, but you could always take it to go. If you like ramen, I would definitely put this on your list of places to visit. Overall, SOJO Ramen is a great spot for a casual and delicious meal.

Yelp
The food was great, pork melted in your mouth, and the broth was tasty. Many topping options to add on as well. Good broth to noodle ratio as well. The service provided was quick and no long wait time. Warm but bright lighting created a pleasant atmosphere, would recommend 10/10 huge fan

Yelp
It's was amazing they were nice they have delicious ramen the prices aren't too bad most places are expensive

Yelp
This restaurant is quickly becoming one of the new favorites in town, mainly due to the consistent quality of the broth and the affordable pricing. You know the economy is rough when two bowls of ramen and an appetizer costs $60 after tip. This is my experience with most ramen shops in Vegas nowadays which is the very opposite of what ramen is supposed to be, which is cheap comfort food that you can grab at any time. Not some "luxury" experience. Sojo has these prices beat, because my meal for a party of 2 here came out at around ~$45, for 2 ramens and a chicken kaarage. I also love this restaurant because it passes the MSG test. You know a restaurant overloads on the oil and MSG when you feel, for the lack of a better word, like shit, and you end up passing out and feeling drowsy for hours. After eating here a few times, it's safe to say that I can still adequately manage the rest of my day without taking a long nap. The only other restaurant that passes this test is Ramen Hashi, and that place is known for being on the healthier side with chicken-only broths.

Yelp
A good spot for a small group or to go alone and relax, they generally play a-lot of variety music , I personally love it. I have the same waitress every-time and, she checks up at the right time, shes quite amazing! As for quality of food and such id rate 10/10 , I love the broths, the menu isn't overwhelming, and nice appetizers and, other entrees that are more solid if one doesn't want a soup! Overall experience 10/10 I think my waitresses name is Jessica? She's never introduced herself tho i see her everytime, but ask for her when you go!

Yelp
I went back to Sojo ramen and had a more flavorful soup experience than my first time. I ordered the Miso Veggie Ramen with extra noodles, two extra eggs, extra mushroom, extra bamboo shoots, and extra fried onions. The broth was much more flavorful than the Shoyu broth and was great! I also ordered the veggie fried rice and it was just as good as before (aka it was great). Service was just a little slow but I don't blame the server for it as it looks like the business owner decided that only one server was needed for early dinner service. Felt bad for her because she was constantly having to tend to online orders and the tables all on her own. Looked like a lot. After my second visit, I now rate Sojo Ramen a 4.5/5. Could be perfect 5/5 if they flavor up the veggie broths just a little bit more and get more servers in there. Other than that, good show Sojo! :)

Jason C.

Yelp
Great Ramen excellent service and it's a great value. The restaurant is very nice the decor fits the establishment very well. It made me feel like I was in Japan. My go to spot will definitely be back.

Ernest M.

Yelp
Food: today I had the chashu bowl. Plenty of rice. You can add on toppings from the ramen menu to fill you up more or give a different texture. Service: for one lady running the show did a fantastic job. Ambiance: small venue can service up to 20 people. Small location. Plenty of parking. This place is a value spot plus the Japanese food is really good for the price. I got this place bookmarked !

Grace V.

Yelp
Food is yummy and service was good. Server is pleasant and courteous. Ambience clean and comfortable.

Melissa D.

Yelp
Excellent spot! Ty Yelpers for leading us to the right spot for delicious Ramen! We all had something different and everyone loved their food! Very clean and simple but well done decor. This is far from is but when we are on this side of town we will definitely come back again!

Jarred P.

Yelp
Sojo ramen is a small but very clean establishment with a very modern decor. Service was efficient and friendly. For my first visit I was able to try the crunchy pork chashu tacos, ahi poke, sichuan ramen, and spicy butter miso ramen. The chashu tacos were very crunchy and flavorful, the ahi poke was good as well with just the right amount of salt. The ramen was very tasty and I can tell they put a lot of work + high quality ingredients into it. Of the two ramens I sampled my favorite was the spicy butter miso ramen. The sichuan was good but had a hint of floral flavor that wasn't my favorite. Overall I am satisfied with my visit here and will likely return to sample the rest of what they have to offer.

Yelp
If you love Ramen, this place hit the spot. Portions were great for sharing and delicious . Will be back.

Yelp
It's been awhile since our last visit and the ramen is just as good as it's always been. The tonkotsu broth is so flavorful. This, by far is second to no other ramen I've tried in Vegas. I like the specials they have like all ramen $10.95 and $4 appetizer with order of any ramen on menu. Service is friendly and exceptional. I especially like the deep bench seats. Very comfortable. If you love ramen you will love Sojo Ramen.

Sonnia P.

Yelp
Tucked away in a shopping center between Warm Springs and Jones is an unassuming ramen spot that delivers a flavorful punch. FOOD: Sojo Ramen offers a variety of menu items prepped with their house-made ingredients: Ramen (including vegan-friendly ramen) and delicious accompaniment. We opted for their Signature Black Garlic Pork, Veggie Spicy Garlic Shoyu, Pork Gyoza , Spicy Edamame, Veggie Spring Rolls, Chicken Karaage, and Sesame Balls. Their ramen broth is so delicious! And their noodle servings are quite generous. Those alone will keep us coming back for more! ATMOSPHERE / SERVICE: On top of their delicious food, the place is super clean and the staff is super friendly. Love their decor, and ... they have great lighting for pics :) so bring out your cameras and click away! PRO-TIP: Don't forget to check in with your Yelp app to get your free Thai Tea! Thanks Sojo, we'll see you again soon!

Jen C.

Yelp
I didn't initially know that this place was there. But it's a cute little spot that's open late and serves affordable food. I got the Yakitori with roast pork, which was super flavorful and abundant. The chicken katsu was crispy and the sauce was just the right level of spicy. The service was excellent with frequent check ins throughout my experience and water was brought immediately when I sat down. I will definitely be back to try their ramen and other menu items.

Felicity C.

Yelp
A hidden gem of ramen place away from China town. Attentive and friendly staff. Very smooth but rich flavored broth. Their pork is melting in the mouth but not fatty. The egg and bamboo are both very delicious. But the best and must try is their fried calamari, may have to get two orders when we return!! The sauces coming with the fried chicken and calamari are both unique and yummy. Forget to mention, we enjoyed Thai tea here as well. Will come back soon to try other items.

Kelsey L.

Yelp
Sooooo good! We tried five different ramens, edamame, tacos, and rice bowl. All the ramens were so delicious! We loved all of them! We liked all the noodles except the glass noodles. They were a little too soft for the broth in my opinion. We ordered online and it was ready quickly and they got everything exactly right. It was great service! We will be back for sure!

Eric R.

Yelp
Nice family owned ramen joint. Fair prices and good ramen. Located in a strip mall.. you keep an eye out for it. If I had only one concern is the ramen was not super hot.... So heat it up a little bit longer next time.

Jackie D.

Yelp
We had the tonkatsu pork ramen and black bean ramen. Priced low compared to the strip, very generous and delicious soup, clean restaurant, and hospitable staff. We will return on our next Vegas visit.

Lauren W.

Yelp
This place has great service and the food is delicious here. The restaurant is always clean and prices are super reasonable.

Yelp
Edamame was delicious! The deluxe ramen was pretty good as well. Everything came out nice and fast. I was the only person in the restaurant at the time, but I have a feeling that this place can get packed very quick. If you are looking for some ramen, I say check This place out and tell me what you think.

Kirsten N.

Yelp
First time at this ramen spot, and what a gem it is! I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon because the weather had me craving ramen. The restaurant was clean, the server was friendly, and the ambiance was welcoming. I ordered the signature black garlic ramen, and it was perfect--the temperature and garlic level were just right. Thank you for a wonderful ramen experience!

Karoly S.

Yelp
Love this place, it is clean, the food is great and the service is excellent. The deluxe ramen was our choice to try a bit of chicken and their pork. Also, their specify edamame is a must have.

Phoebe S.

Yelp
I like this place, it was very cozy and the staff was friendly. I ordered the chicken ramen and it was very good and creamy. My husband ordered the tonkotsu and he also liked it! I didnt even know that when you check in, they give you free thai tea, i missed that. Overall, i recommend this place.

Connie K.

Yelp
Sojo Ramen pleasantly surprised me with its flexibility when it comes to customization. Not being a fan of overly salty ramen, I appreciated their willingness to adjust the salt levels to my preference, resulting in a dish that was just right for my taste buds. Opting for the Tori ramen was a fantastic decision; the broth boasted a rich flavor profile that left me thoroughly satisfied. Additionally, the waitress added to the positive experience with her attentive and friendly demeanor. The ambiance at Sojo Ramen strikes the perfect balance, making it an ideal spot whether you're planning a romantic date night or catching up with friends. Overall, Sojo Ramen delivers on taste, service, and ambiance, making it a must-visit for ramen enthusiasts.

Daniel M.

Yelp
We recently dined at Sono Ramen and were blown away by the quality and flavors. We tried the tonkatsu, gyoza, and chicken katsu, and everything was absolutely delicious. The tonkatsu broth stood out - it was some of the best I've had in Las Vegas, with a rich, balanced depth of flavor that's hard to find. The gyoza was perfectly cooked, with a light, crispy exterior, and the chicken katsu was tender and flavorful. This is truly a hidden gem, and we're so happy to have stumbled upon it. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, quality ramen!

Priscila D.

Yelp
visited on a wednesday afternoon around 3pm i was the only one so got seated right away and service was super quick! staff was super friendly :) kimchi: 3/10 it had a sweet flavor and was kinda dry so i just wasn't a fan tori ramen (ordered spicy) : 7/10 it had good flavor just wasn't spicy at all even after adding the chili oil chicken karaage: 8/10 it was good just felt like it needed different sauce ahi poke: 11/10 lolz it was sooo good they had good music playing that wasn't too overwhelming/loud :)

Janine R.

Yelp
This place is pretty cute. I got the ramen and app special. The house salad wasn't good to me at all, but I also should have asked what kind of dressing they used so that's on me. I assumed it was a ginger or sesame dressing and it wasn't but you know what they say about people who assume hehe. The ramen was delicious though! My bowl had both pork and chicken chashu and both were equally good, great broth plus all my favorite veggies. I will definitely be back!

Alexandra D.

Yelp
Really cute small place with delicious food! Jodi was our waiter and she was really sweet and catered to our every need. We ordered variety of appetizers and entrees including the pork chashu bowl and let me tell you it was so good, our first time trying it and it was like chopped up pork belly so tender and delicious! We will definitely be back!! 100% recommend this spot

Kalei G.

Yelp
Sojo Ramen is honestly the best ramen places I have ever tried especially here in Vegas! The service is always top tier and very accommodating of my big family and I (at least 10 of us when I go with family) Everything about this restaurant is amazing! The broth is amazing and even the appetizers. And I'm pretty sure they are both the owners, but the husband and wife always make sure that everything is okay and if ever there's a rare chance that we're missing something it comes out right away. And the prices can't be beat either! LOVE SOJO RAMEN!!!!

Joshua O.

Yelp
Eaten at many places all over the city, these new owners have changed the game for this place. We've seen 3 different owners since covid and the menu is finally goooood. I tried a little of everything and their rice is on point with the sauce and flavorful pork. I don't always take time to do these reviews but support these new owners. P.S. the price is family friendly and high quality.

Jessica D.

Yelp
I ordered chicken chashu bowl with exrtra corn in it , it was so yummy. And store is so clean. Definitely Gonna be my everyday goto store.

Kat K.

Yelp
Came here for the first time w my family's Our last lunch before leaving Vegas We ordered Shoyu Ramen. Signature black garlic ramen and tonkostu and wings and kimchi Everything taste so delicious 10/10 for everything Stop by if ya have time Ya won't regret it

Jeryl S.

Yelp
Friendly welcoming, quick service, and delicious ramen; enjoyed the option of chili oil on the side to add extra kick to the broth. Also very clean interior along with lots of check-ins from the waitress for water refills/making sure we're okay!

Christina W.

Yelp
I loved the ramen it was so yummy and the stuff in it is great. The desserts are awesome. FAST AND FRIENDLY service.

Jyles R.

Yelp
Best Veggie ramen in town! Loaded with vegetables and tofu. Good tasting broth and perfect texture noodles. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely a go to spot!

May Zun T.

Yelp
I believe this is under new ownership because I remember trying it awhile while back and the menu wasn't the same. After seeing the menu changed, we wanted to give it another shot and honestly it was pretty good and a lot better than I remembered. We got the shoyu and mala ramen. The ramens were pretty decent flavor and comed with basic meats and egg but not that much add on tho. The appetizers stole the show for me tho. The charshu tacos were soooo good!!! Their charshu is so tender, meaty, and fatty at the same time. The gyozas were really good as well. Bonus points for serving it with an actual sauce rather than just soysauce. The service was fast and nice. Its a decent size restaurant for ramen shop so its not crammed. I really adored the containers they have for the chili sauce!!!

C D.

Yelp
Best ramen and appetizers! Great service, always fast and on top of everything. This is our favorite go to dinner spot!

Chris V.

Yelp
Soho may still be so good, but Sojo is inching toward so-so. Sojo Ramen is still owned by Chef John Chien Lee, as far as I know, and it's still in the plaza as its older sister restaurant Soho Japanese Restaurant. I figured that it was worth a revisit since ramen is still one of my top food interests and I hadn't been back seemingly in ages. The dining room appears to be arranged in some sort of 50%-75% capacity spaced-out configuration. I had to wait a bit to get seated even though I'd arrived on an early weekday evening. Fortunately, they had a self-service station by the entrance with complimentary drinks. The lychee tea was too sweet, but the lemonade was nicely balanced. A 1:3 or 1:4 ratio of the two was enjoyable. Another possible pandemic holdover is that they take orders online via scanned QR codes. They no longer offer the Black on Black ramen, so I went instead with the Black Garlic Tonkotsu ($12.95), which is the closest alternative. It came out very, very quickly and was quite hot. The thin noodles (note: medium and rice are apparently also available as options) were properly al dente and the meat was tender. The broth was pretty nice but not as rich as I've had before either here or elsewhere. The included boiled egg was flavorful and not too hard, and the bamboo and nori were tasty. A few side items are complimentary, although they erroneously brought out chili paste at first rather than the garlic paste which I requested. They corrected this after I flagged an employee down. The garlic paste was extremely potent and helped to add garlic flavor which I found to be relatively subtle in the default broth. My appetizer of Takoyaki ($5.50, 4 pieces) actually came out after the ramen. I guess it's fine because it's piping hot to start and could use a little cooling down (but not too much). The sauces were a bit heavy-handed and the bonito flakes were not as coarsely shredded as I'd like, but the dough wasn't bad and the octopus inside was tender. It was enjoyable overall. Sojo is a solid ramen option if you're in the immediate neighborhood, but it's no longer my favorite in town. I hope that they tweak the recipes again and reignite the magic or else it might remain an also-ran.

Josh V.

Yelp
I love this place! Near by my neighborhood and the food just hits the right spot. Ramen has a lot flavor and my personal favorite is the unagi bowl is just the right balance especially when you want to eat appetizers with your meal so you won't be so full. The service is kind and nice. It's only one kind lady working every time I come here, but she does a great job taking care of us and other customers.

Edgar V.

Yelp
Really good! Randomly discovered this place and came in to try the tokontsu ramen, the pork tacos, and the Thai tea. Everything was delicious and affordable ! Would highly recommend giving this ramen place a try !

Lyndsay A.

Yelp
Walked into the cutest ramen shop! We ordered chicken gyoza, tonkatsu ramen, and the green tea churros. Everything tasted amazing and had so much flavor. I love that their ramen isn't oily like other ramen places, it's super refreshing. The green tea churros are a must after ramen! Our server Jodie was so sweet and gave the best service. My new favorite ramen spot!!

Patricia D.

Yelp
This was my go to ramen spot! Their tonkatsu ramen is the only ramen I will ever eat since I am so picky; however, they have completely changed the whole menu. Everything is chicken based now. The price has also gone up a bit for the ramen and the add-ons, and they no longer have the soft boiled egg included. I got the black garlic ramen and my bf got the nabeyaki tori paitan. They changed the bowls, and it's now served with a candle underneath to keep it warm. The broth was surprisingly good. It was rich and creamy, not too salty. I needed more black garlic oil though. The chicken chasiu was on the sweeter side, still not sure if I'm a fan of that. Overall, I rate my ramen a 6-7/10 and my bf rates his 8/10. I definitely miss the old ramen and will probably be look for a new ramen place with good pork tonkotsu. I wish they just have the option of pork vs chicken without changing the whole menu.

Paige J.

Yelp
Super cute/cozy little spot located in a strip mall. Went in to have a little solo dinner and it was mostly empty, no long wait on a Sunday evening which was nice. Sat right away and the server was friendly and dropped off water immediately. Ordered the Champon (seafood) Ramen and it was delicious! Place was quiet with some music playing. Perfect for a little "dinner for one" night. Thanks for the Thai Tea

Whitney k.

Yelp
The young lady who works here is so kind and very welcoming.. ramen is great as I am a ramen connoisseur lol.....ramen is so good and flavorful, chicken kaarage is great and very crispy and poke is bomb! I'm from hawaii so to say the poke is good is something! Highly recommend!

Tilly K.

Yelp
GLUTEN FREE YAYE !!!! So excited just had a veggie gluten free ramen and it was delicious. With added butter, seaweed and a side of edamame with gluten free soy sauce

Jin N.

Yelp
I came to SOJO ramen pre-COVID and thought their miso ramen was potentially the best in town. We came back here for the first time in a couple years. Miso butter ramen- 3.5/5. It's good. Flavorful. Worth trying . Champong ramen- 3/5. Good. Yuzu wings- 4/5.. I really liked the wings! Their service was non existent as soon as the food item was served. No water refills unless we asked. Even the bill, they never came by so we went to the cashier to pay after waiting. The place was empty and it has a self service type of feel.

Juliet Y.

Yelp
I'd heard good things about Chef John and had high expectations and was excited to give it a try of chicken base soup ramen. Torimon sojo ramen has such a rich broth with perfectly textured noodles and tender pieces of chicken. The rice bowl and crispy squid were delicious as well. One more good thing was candle under pot warm the soup all the time ! I'd definitely recommend everyone check this place out. One of the best bowels of ramen I've had in a long time. 5 star taste and service !!
