The atmosphere is absolutely perfect!!!!!! The service is even better. Amber is an absolute gem and was HILARIOUS and literally made this a 10/5 experience. Food is pretty good - but not the best I’ve ever had for the price point. But again, the atmosphere and Amber made this amazing. Oh and the adult DRINKS were also incredible!!!!

Actually, I visited this restaurant quite some time ago and only got around to posting about it now. It was a spontaneous decision that day — we suddenly felt like trying it out. Luckily, there happened to be a spot available for us in the queue. The interactive experience was great; before entering, there’s a space-themed introduction that feels like you’re about to launch into space. The food was all very creative, with a cosmic, galaxy-inspired design. The most memorable part for me was the mashed potatoes lollllll — honestly, the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had!

This restaurant was a truly amazing experience! The food was so good all parts from starters to drinks to entrees to desserts! The inside was sooo cool! My boys ages 10&7 were amazed! Our waitress Claire was so fun! She really made us feel like friends and not just another customer! She jumped right in and helped with the challenges of having children at dinner and she spoke directly to my kids about their needs and orders versus me as a mom balancing that all! This allowed me to not only breath and enjoy my dinner and experience but it also gave my children an opportunity to work on their own individual skills and confidence which I loved! My 7 year old told our waitress if he could he would rate this place infinite stars!!! This led to the waitress having the manager Josue come out! He talked with the boys, asked them about their time and added some extra magic to their experience! The boys felt soo special!! We came the beginning of June and they are still talking about it!! I cannot say thank you enough for making our time special and magical!! It was so busy that night and we were so taken care of! Thank you again!!

Our visit to Space 220 was definitely "stellar"!! The food was delicious, the experience was on point for our space themed day and the service was beyond 👌 Jonathan F, our server, was the perfect pair for our family. He was knowledgeable, generous, consistently attending our needs while not lingering, perfectly tidy and HILARIOUS... Honestly the art of picking up and putting down dry humor is rare but this guy is a shooting star 💫 Thanks for your stellar service, Jonathan!!

Firstly, this restaurant ain't cheap. Secondly, it is difficult to get a reservation the day before my visit to Epcot, let alone the same day. Someone cancelled a slot, and wife snatched it out like a pro, so there we were. But after everything had been paid, I knew why the restaurant was pricy and exclusive: we didn't pay for just lunch; we paid for the experience. The idea was that we rode a space elevator to a space station just over Epcot in Florida, to dine on space foods in style while looking at astronauts doing space walks, or spaceships docking or leaving the station. My server Megan claimed that the water I drank was from Mars. I think Mars would have bigger challenge sourcing water than Florida, but hey, I'd play along happily. The restaurant is prix fixe, which comes with appetizer and main course. I loved my calamari appetizer, while the tacos and Caesar salad were okay. For mains, the steak frites was great, though they were extremely generous with the frites that we couldn't finish everything. The miso glazed salmon was pretty good, though I wished the miso glaze was stronger. I loved my dish, the Mangala roasted chicken, which was chicken breast grilled tandoori style, with butter chicken sauce. It came with basmati rice cooked in coconut milk, which had to be enjoyed sparingly with the rest of the dish. I might not visit Space 220 every time I visit Epcot, but when I have a free Epcot day and I find a reservation slot at a good time, I can't say I won't be tempted!

We decided to celebrate our 7th Anniversary in space and it was truly a celebration out of this world! We were lucky enough to grab a last minute reservation and ran over to Epcot. From the moment we entered the building, we were greeted with amazing service and spot on theming. The video showing our journey into space was my favorite part. Everyone kept gasping and we all watched in awe. Our table for two had the breathtaking view of planet Earth and our server Jonathan made sure to guide us through our time in space. He recommended great drinks and suggested the perfect foods. Everything we ate was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. My favorite was the UFO beer I ordered. Even treated myself to a second glass! Jonathan surprised us with an anniversary dessert and we even had plenty to take back to the hotel with us. The cherry on top was our picture perfect view of Epcot’s Spaceship Earth as we were leaving the park. Do yourself a favor and book your trip to space! You won’t regret it. Can’t wait to be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Space 220 – A Truly Stellar Dining Experience Dining at Space 220 in EPCOT was truly out of this world! From the moment we “launched” into orbit via the space elevator, we knew this was going to be something special—but nothing could have prepared us for just how incredible it would be. The entire setting is jaw-dropping: windows overlooking Earth from the Centauri Space Station, sleek futuristic decor, and ambient lighting that fully immerses you in the story. But what made our night absolutely unforgettable was Claire, our server. Claire is hands down the best Cast Member we’ve encountered at any Disney park. She was warm, attentive, engaging, and made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. Her knowledge of the menu and genuine passion for guest service elevated the experience far beyond expectations. And the food? Wow. Every course was a masterpiece. The short rib was fork-tender and rich, the salmon was perfectly cooked with bold flavors, and the space-themed dessert was both delicious and a visual spectacle. Even the shrimp tacos starter had us raving. This wasn’t just dinner—it was a full sensory journey. We've dined at many Disney restaurants, but Space 220 easily takes the crown as our best overall dining experience. It’s a must-do for any EPCOT visit, and if you're lucky enough to be seated in Claire’s section—prepare for magic.

Five Stars – An Out-of-This-World Experience at Space 220! Dining at Space 220 was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we “launched” into the space-themed elevator to our arrival at the stunning orbital dining room, the experience was immersive, unique, and truly unforgettable. The highlight of the evening, though, was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Matt F. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about making sure our meal was perfect from start to finish. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made us feel like VIPs the entire time. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to dessert, each dish was crafted with care and tasted heavenly. If you’re looking for an extraordinary dining experience with top-tier service and incredible cuisine, Space 220 is a must — and be sure to ask for Matt F if you want the best service in the galaxy!

Yelp
Space 220 is an all-round amazing experience! From the beginning, we had a wonderful check-in experience with Trish from Long Island, NY....she is so kind, friendly, fun, and helpful, and we truly enjoyed visiting with her while we were waiting for our reservation time. She even remembered us from previous visits....it's always nice to see her friendly face! Melanie (Bartender) was fabulous....great drinks and she was very kind, energetic, and personable! Lacey from NY, NY,, who took care of us during our dining experience in the lounge area, was so friendly and fantastic! Lacey ensured that our time in "Space" was absolutely perfect! As a vegetarian, I had several questions, and she was very knowledgeable and made some fantastic recommendations ... the Grow Zone Sprouts Salad, highly recommended by Lacey, is now my favorite Space 220 menu item! We look forward to visiting Space 220 during our next (and EVERY) visit to WDW! Thank you so much again to Trish, Lacey, and Melanie!

Yelp
(Overall: A) - I loved how Epcot fully immersed the space theme of this restaurant, starting from the entrance that was a liftoff simulation better than all the paid tall building sightseeing attractions available elsewhere; the restaurant is decorated with a very smartly designed wine cellar that fits well with the theme at was truly breathtaking. The food matched in this regard, being presentation first, with the flavors having a lot more variance that could be fine tuned a bit better. The staff here I felt were much better compared to other establishments within Disney, frequently checking in and providing very clear and thoughtful communication. Highly recommend this spot if you're able to get a reservation. (Neptuna Tartare: A) - For a space themed restaurant, I felt like this dish perfectly fit the theme with the Panipuri which was quite smart! I do see the vision of this dish, but I feel like there are significant opportunities to improve the dish. Specifically, each indivdual component is not well tuned, as in the tuna is bland and the passionfruit is too sweet, but when you combine all the flavors together, they taste almost good -- instead, if each individual component were better tuned, this would be for sure a signature dish. (Rocket Flame Seared Tuna: A) - I was honestly quite concerned about the completeness of a Ahi main, but the roasted tomato and eggplant definitely delivered in that regard. There is sweetness, acidity, and saline coming through this dish and the tuna is properly cooked, making this quite an impressive dish. (Chili Garlic Broccolini: C) - The broccolini was well roasted in such a way that they are tender yet still maintain integrity. Unfortunately, the garlic and chili flavor the name of this dish claims to have is drowned out by an overwhelming butter flavor. Food: E Presentation: +1 Price: E Atmosphere: +2 Service: +1 Menu: +1 Overall: 5 stars Insta/Yelp/Beli/TikTok: @amei_eats

Yelp
I was excited when I was able to book a reservation for Space 220 for our recent trip to Epcot. Considering that it is a hard reservation to get, I had high expectations. I have to say that my experience was less than stellar. When we arrived, we checked in at the initial check in desk. The person who checked me in told me I can go inside. Since this was my first time, I wasn't sure what that meant and asked where I was going. She instructed me to go to a lobby. This was my first disappointment. The waiting area is very sterile and not on par with the Disney imagineering one would expect. When our party was finally called up, we were provided with a boarding pass to an elevator. The elevator experience was probably the only thing that helped with the theme. When we arrived in the dining room, we found the tables very cafeteria-like and uncomfortable. The menu online looked promising, but lacked in execution. I was expecting more innovation and presentation given the menu on par with Carthay Circle at California Adventures, The Brown Derby, or Tiffins. Overall, our server was excellent and attentive. The carrot cake is definitely a must if you do visit.

Yelp
Space 220 is located at EPCOT and is the hardest reservation to get. I honestly don't know why after our experience. This is a restaurant and lounge, two separate dining, located in the same space. If you are looking for a reservation, you need to look for either the restaurant or the lounge, depending on what you want. We visited the lounge, so my review is about the lounge. The theme here is space. You go up to the space center to enjoy your dining and then head back to earth when you are done. In the lounge, you have a special menu as well as the option to order ala cart from the regular menu. If you dine in the regular restaurant, then you have to order from the price fix menu. I will say that my positives are the theming 100% and our particular server. She was beyond amazing, and I am so glad we had her. She was honestly the only polite person we interacted with. Some of the other highlights included my drink, which was their version of an espresso martini however it had astronaut ice cream on top. Very cool and very good. I also thought the portion sizes for my husband's appetizer, pork belly, was very large. I don't know how that was an appetizer, it could have been a meal. My negatives are a lot. I'm not sure how often I would want to go back here. I made the reservation for 4 people. We had another friend join us with her child so I tried to increase it to 6, but I could not locate a reservation. When we checked in, I asked if we could add the other adult and child and worse case, the child could sit in her mom or dad's lap. She told us no problem but then tried to check us in for almost 10 minutes. At one point I said if you can't its ok. She again told us "No problem, I'm just trying to figure it out". She asked the other host for help, explaining that we needed a new reservation. I interrupted and said no, we have one, we are just adding more. He said as well, "No problem" and showed her how to do it. They told us to go inside. When we got inside the hostess inside told us to sit down. We sat there for around 15 minutes as we watched group after group being called (all of whom arrived after us). I finally went up and asked, she checked my name and said, "oh party of 4, I see you". I explained what happened outside and that we have 5 plus a child. She said she could not accommodate 5 or 6 in the lounge. I explained that is not what we were told outside. So, she called her leader. Her leader came over stating the same thing. I explained the whole situation; said we would wait if needed and her parents could hold her on their lap. She tried to explain that the table only seats 4. I asked if we could add a chair to which we were told no. I also explained we had been told different information outside and now I had to tell a child they could not go who was very excited to go to space. They were not budging. I understand what she was saying however, we were told yes, then no from the next person, then when we sat down, we mentioned it to our server and she goes, "We can totally add a chair, we make exceptions all the time"! WHAT! That is where I got really upset. My other issue was that the lounge was not full. We had 3 empty tables around us that we could have pushed together or at least sat close to each other. And as we sat there, a large family came to the lounge and put 4 kids at a table and then the 4 adults at a different table and our table was sandwiched in-between. It was not consistent, and we were very mad. The food was ok, my husband ordered the pork belly which he enjoyed, and it was very large. MY sister ordered sliders, and I ordered the calamari, and we shared truffle fries. All of these came from the lounge menu. We were not told her sliders also came with fries, so we had a lot of food. The truffle fries were good, they needed salt and a dip. Her sliders were tasty and a good size. My calamari was very small and raw. These needed to be cooked more. I should have sent them back to be honest, but I was already upset with the seating situation. The portion was terribly small as well for the price. My other issue is the lounge tables are smaller, but their plates are GIGANTIC. We were struggling and at one point I just held my plate of calamari. I understand theming but know the space and adjust appropriately. MY husband ordered their Black Hole Old Fashioned, and he hated it. It was watery and very little liquor. Overall, I'm not sure if I would come back. They do have bar seating; you can wait in line and try and get a table. But to be honest, the restaurant and the lounge was not full, so why is it impossible to find a reservation? I actually tried to go to their website and find a contact to email about our experience, but I could not. I honestly hope they see this. Their customer service was terrible! The food they served me was undercooked and almost raw. I think this place is overhyped. Yes, it is a super cool place to go. You literally feel like you are in space.

Yelp
If you're looking for a unique, unforgettable experience - book Space 220 for dinner! It's a prix-fixe 3-course dinner where you choose your own appetizer, main meal, and dessert. They have many appealing options, so it was tough to decide. Thankful I had my husband with me so I could try more items! I started with the cauliflower and my husband started with the calamari. Neither blew us away, as we felt we had tasted similar dishes before. Moving onto the main course, I had the short rib and my husband had the pork chop. The short rib was tender and delicious, but the real star of the plate was the cheddar grits underneath. I am still thinking about them!! The pork chop was good, but the Korean BBQ glaze was a bit spicy. Lastly, for dessert I had the Sol which was chocolate & hazelnut, while my husband had the Lunar Carrot Cake. Both were delicious but by the time the dessert was served we were stuffed!! The atmosphere and service were out of this work (ba dum tissssss!). Our service did a nice job of checking in on us and refilled beverages as he saw them getting low. It was fun to look out the windows at Space but we didn't have the best view of Earth since we were on the side of the restaurant and the better view is right in the middle. I strongly recommended you try to get this highly coveted reservation on your next Epcot day!

Yelp
This was the best food we had at Disney World, no competition! The experience starts with an "elevator" taking you into space, the experience is fun, so look up and down and really get into it! The space itself is so cool. A moving space visual outside your "window," watch for astronauts and other cool things! There is a good view from any table. It is a fixed menu, and we went for lunch to save $20. For apps, I got the beet salad and it was one of the best I have ever had! They carmelized the goat cheese, had crunchy salts, just divine. My boyfriend liked his calamari a lot too. Presentation on both was lovely! For mains, my boyfriend loved his burger. I got the ahi tuna and it was so good! the texture, flavor, and presentation were all incredible. I am gluten free and found that I had several great options to choose from. The cool, quiet, dark, peaceful atmosphere was a PERFECT break from the hustle of the park. I will be back on my next visit!

Yelp
It can definitely be hard to snag a reservation here but if you can I definitely recommend it! I went for dinner and loved the atmosphere. Everyone from check in to the time you leave really embraces the space theme which was so fun! Our waiter was the best, made us laugh every time he came by to ask "are you happy?" and service was quick. The food, a prefixed 3 course meal at $79/adult was delicious and we left stuffed! I chose the tuna tartare served in pani puri shells, filet mignon and the sol dessert. The filet mignon melted in my mouth and was probably the best I've had! I did not go with any kids but I think any kid would love the space theme. The only small annoyance was it took a while for the elevator to bring us back down after. It is a great spot for a sit down dinner and break during a long park day!

Yelp
I can't comprehend some of the negative reviews on this restaurant. Out of all the Disney restaurants that require a reservation this was one of the coolest most unique experiences I have ever had dining. If anyone has ever seen the show "The 100" it gave me vibes of being on the Ark. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. While the food is expensive (just like every Disney restaurant) I felt like it lived up to the quality. You certainly will get more bang for your buck coming at lunchtime when the crowd isn't crazy and the prices are more reasonable. If I had to nitpick anything here it's that you can clearly see the green "exit" signs from the back of the "space station" which kind of messed with the immersion for me. And I really wish they let you keep the space station tickets you took to get into the restaurant. But like I said this is nitpicking and totally not a deal breaker for me. If I went back to Disney this would definitely be high on my priority list to try again.

Yelp
hat a phenomenal experience. Had two Of the very best servers, Charles and Brittany. Both extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. The drinks, food and atmosphere was so great. Beautiful "ride" up to space really set the tone. Brittany took our drink orders right away and was so patient and sweet with our questions. Charles then came by to make sure all was okay and if we needed anything else. Drinks came quickly and were so delicious (and strong). Food came shortly after and we had steak and fries, Salmon and greens and fried mushroom! That was of this world amazing. Kids had Mac n cheese( yes I know basic) but they loved it. They got to color and watch the astrodog make an appearance. Desserts were great. Birthday cake ice cream and plain vanilla gelato. It was an over all amazing experience. Charles made sure to check in, in between and bring us some great sauces for our steak. The service was really top notch.

Yelp
SUCH a fun experience. I love how you enter a room and "sky rocket to space" for a meal. Once you get up to the space station, you feel like you really were transported. Our server was super friendly and awesome, she even gave us a free anniversary special dessert. The set menu has so many great options. Got the wagyu beef carpaccio, so good. Then for my main course, I got the miso salmon, also delicious with an amazing sauce. The tempura fried mushroom was wonderful. Then it was time to go home to Earth. Will definitely be returning!

Yelp
I came knowing it's a one and done for most people. This was a gift for my dad's 70th birthday who loves space and he enjoyed it, but wasn't over the top impressed. My 4 year old even said, I know we didn't go to real outer space. So as far as the ambiance, I feel like more could have been done to make it truly immersive. It was cute, but nothing to blow you away. As far as the food....meh. I'm not blown away by really any of the Disney food, but this was below average. I tend to find most of the restaurants use the same pieces of salmon, chicken, meat, etc. I opted for the salmon however, I wish I had gone with a different dish. It was probably the weakest piece of fish I've had in a very very long time. My 4-year-old had the spaghetti and meatballs and the meatball was some type of chicken meatball that was honestly disgusting. The apps were fine, nothing to complain about. While this has a few cool elements,, I would say this is a skip.

Yelp
I feel like this is a little hidden gem in Disney... I would recommend everyone do this just for the experience atleast once. It's definitely pricey but you do get your moneys worth. Portions are good so you're satisfied but don't expect to take anything home, even tho it's a 3 course meal. I also say this because nothing is so exceptionally good that you're going to want to heat and re eat. The star of the show being the prime rib by far... It's a Disney experience so you can expect the service to be very good. The space theme inside the restaurant is epic and the way to get there is also fun. I enjoyed it overall.

Yelp
The ambiance of Space 220 is unmatched by anything else at Disney World. It truly is a dining experience, not just a meal. From the moment we arrived, we were handed a ticket to get into an elevator up to the restaurant. It was a cool way to immerse guests into the story of the restaurant, which is that you are dining 220 miles above earth. The restaurant is beautiful, and is most well known for the big "windows" that allow you to see into space. Make sure you pay attention as different things will appear throughout your meal. One thing to note is that if you are sitting far away from the "windows" your experience may not be as good, since you won't really be able to see. I'm not sure if you can request to sit close, but it's worth asking. As far as the food goes, it is very expensive, and I found it to be pretty average. The meal was $70 a person, and included an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. I started out with the Grow Zone Sprouts Salad, which was very fresh but small. I love Pad Thai, so I was so excited to see the Space Pad Thai on the menu. It turned out to be very bland and not at all like I was expecting. It was a nice-sized portion, however. For dessert, I got the Lunar Carrot Cake, which was so delicious and included pumpkin seeds which added a great crunchy element to the cake. The service was very good, and our server made some recommendations since we couldn't decide what to order. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here, but I was let down by the food. If the meal had a cheaper price tag, I would have felt better about my food, but for the price, I found the menu to be a bit basic and the food to be bland.

Yelp
Wow! What an AMAZING meal at Space 220! We started our space experience lifting off from earth and entering earth's atmosphere! I know you can now REALLY spend $125,000 to orbit the upper atmosphere of earth with another program but if your budget doesn't allow for it, give Space 220 a try! We had a FANTASTIC meal and our super server, who self dubbed herself "Spacey Lacey" was super kind, super efficient and super cheerful! (Not spacey at all... )just an excellent staff at Space 220! We started with tuna tartar, steak tartar, calamari and beet & goat cheese salad! So yummy! We also had two pad Thai dishes, a burger and miso salmon! 3 out of four dishes were wonderful. Burger ok. Have a fantastic time visiting such a fantastic place! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Visited Space 220 for the first time just for the bar with some friends of mine and it was a great experience! Can't say enough about Space Christopher! Great drinks and great service! We can't wait to get back there hopefully in the near future!

Yelp
I wanted to check out Space 220 and what better excuse than for my birthday dinner. It's a unique experience. You have a boarding pass to go to "Space" and then reach your destination. They have a prefix menu and pricing. To start off, we order the Big Bang Burrata and Starryvcalamari. The burrata was good, but the calamari was fine but I can get better calamari elsewhere. For our main entrees we ordered the ribeye and the pork chop. The ribeye was good, but the pork chop was better than expected. The kid's meal was a rough price as our kids ordered chicken tenders and fries. Their juice, which came in a space cup with a glowing ice cube, was an additional $8. Overall, cool unique experience to try once and done for us. Our server was amazing and attentive. If I could redo it again, I probably wouldn't bring my children (ha!) as their food wasn't worth the price.

Yelp
On a whim, my husband and I walked up to the host stand around 2pm to see if there was room and we got lucky! We managed to get two open spots at the bar and had such a great time. You start by taking a "space elevator" up to the "space station" where large windows span the room showing Earth slowly rotating among the stars. We ordered the deviled eggs and cocktails to start, Command Center and Shuttle Crew. Command Center was very smooth and lightly floral. Shuttle Crew would have been a really fun pool drink with a delicious foam made from Tang on top. The deviled eggs had a great yellow mustard flavor with Smokey bacon pieces. After, we tried the Up All Night (espresso martini) which was so delicious with a freeze dried ice cream sandwich piece on top. The bar staff were excellent had great recommendations. We would love to come back!

Yelp
I decided to go on my birthday while at Epcot and the dining experience was really cool. It was production going and leaving the rest to make it feel as if you're taking off into space. My waiter I had that day was very sweet and made sure to cater to my food allergy which I appreciated very much. They had the option for a speciality cup available if you wanted to buy one. I kind of wished that I would've asked what it looked like before buying it, but I chalked it up to the experience of it all. I also received a complimentary scoop of ice cream as a birthday treat which made my day feel extra special.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience today at Space 220. Excellent service from the personnel who greet you and start the space experience for you to our table service with Lindsey. Part of the cost of the meal is the space experience. We really liked it. It was interesting but not overbearing. Astronauts and spaceships, etc. floating by with the earth below. You're eating dinner. It's not a Disney ride. We liked it. For food, there were 4 of us, and we all ordered the tuna tartare (Neptuna tartare) for an appetizer. Very artful presentation with the tuna in a crisp, hollow bowl made of wheat/semolina called a Pani puri....very inventive. And it tasted good with wasabi and pineapple and mango sauces Artfully dotted on the plate. One member of our party order the fillet mignon and enjoyed it immensely....tender and cooked perfectly. And a good sized fillet. Two of us had the spiced grouper with walnut butter and Swiss chard and a parsnip puree. We were pleased with this dish. It was beautiful and it tasted great. And the fourth in our party had the salmon which they said was good. For the dessert, two of us had Bode's swirl which was a beautiful creation of lemon chiffon, which was like lemon pound cake, and berry compote and marshmallow meringue. It tasted good, but the cake was dry. The others had chocolate gelato and mango sorbet. All good. We left the restaurant happy. We liked the experience as well as the food. Worth it.

Yelp
$175 for one of the worst meals of my life. I have no idea why this is the hardest reservation to get at all of Disney. Is the atmosphere cool? Kind of. Basically you stare at a giant TV screens that randomly has space ships and astronauts fly by. How about the food though? Absolutely awful. The best restaurant at all of Disney is inside of Canada at EPCOT, Le Cellier Steakhouse. First up, I had an $18 espresso martini (Up All Night). It was very average 5/10. Then, I had the blue moon cauliflower which was also very average 5/10. For the main course I paid the $20 upcharge for the 24oz ribeye. Bad, bad, bad, and more bad. Fatty, lacked flavor, just not good. So disappointed. Especially considering Le Cellier makes an excellent steak. I'd rate 1/10. For a side, I had the brussel sprouts. Once again, very average at best, 4/10. Lastly, for dessert I had the carrot cake. Awful, 1/10. The hype is a joke. Maybe go once to say you went, but man oh man was the food bad.

Yelp
This place is a classic one and done type restaurant experience at Disney's Epcot. A bit overpriced for what you get but it is Disney. The food sounds amazing when you read it on the menu but it really doesn't live up to the expectation once you're eating it. Overall it was a unique experience but wouldn't return. The restaurant needs to improve their hygiene practices. I watched someone sweeping the floor with a dirty broom handle then proceed to set the table next to me with the manager. The best part was the lady manager grabbing the utensils not from the handles but from the parts that you would eat with. The bus boy did the same thing. I'd inspect the utensils and glasses before using them. I would expect better at a Disney property even if Disney does not own this restaurant.

Yelp
Tried this place bc my 5 year old loves space. We were seated close to the screen to the side so we saw astronauts and the Astro dog too! The kids loved the trip up into space - it was magical for our 3 year old as well. Epcot is slower than Magic Kingdom so we had time to sit down and eat lunch here to rest our feet. It's pricey but the service is great. The food is definitely mediocre and the price tag should include dessert for the adults too. My steak and fries were pretty good but the wagyu tartare was bleh. Maybe it's bc we come from SF/Bay Area where the standards are higher. The kids had dessert included - on one hand, my son had the fancy chocolate pour over vanilla ice cream after he cracked the chocolate sphere and on the other hand, my daughter had blue jello with random rock candy and one gummy on top (only Disney could get away with this nonsense for these prices - kids were $29 each and my kids had a burger and fries and the other had spaghetti and meatballs). And the special cup with the light up ice cube was $8 extra. But the milk was included in the $29. No regrets and Disney knows you will fork over anything for the kids! I would come back if the kids wanted to. We snagged reservations the day of.

Yelp
Definitely something to try if you like space related , starts an actual lifting into space to a space station . Disney really makes it feels like you're in a space restaurant very modern . The selection is not bad they have steak , fish , salads , shrimp, chicken with different sides to choose from, wines and drinks too .Our server was great , very attentive a little pricey but what's not in Disney , good size potions, we had calamari, steak tuna tartare salad among other choices, it worth a try otro truly different experience , came out to $133.00 including tip for five of us .. for sure something new to try ..

Yelp
Let's be honest, the real reason why you're here is because you think you're dining on some futuristic restaurant in starfleet's space dock. While the food is definitely nothing to sneeze at, you're really praying you can get a spot in one of the most difficult to book Disney restaurants because it's all about the ambiance. Personally I think the food at Le Cellier, Toledo or California Grill are all better Disney dining experiences. But this place kicks ass when it comes to the vibe. From the faux rocket/elevator launch to the "station" to the 2001 esque gyroscopic farm that greets you before you check in to the "holy shit" factor when you walk into the restaurant and see earth in a photorealistic window setting, you're pretty much impressed the second you walk in. That's what the price of admission here is for. The food itself was decent. The ribeye (additional charge to the prix fixe menu) is sold and flavorful. The tuna tartar appetizer was fine (I wish I got the calamari though) and the kids entrees were good. The real star of the show are the sweets. The desserts were all awesome and the drinks/cocktails are definitely worth getting. All of those latter aspects are definite standouts. The service here was also very good and attentive. The restaurant was also very clean and well run. Food didn't that that long to arrive and there are tons of photo ops in the entire area. Yeah it's a huge pain in the ass to try and book this place unless you do it months in advance, but it's really worth the effort if you're into sci fi or just love the idea of being in space. It's a definite top notch experience for the kids and adults alike.

Yelp
Space 220 Restaurant in Epcot at Disney World was one of my favorite dining experiences! We've tried to book reservations at this restaurant multiple times, but we finally scored a reservation for 2 on a Wednesday evening around 5:50 at Space 220 in June! Space 220 is located right next to MISSION: Space. The entrance is sort of hidden! When it was time for our reservation, we checked in on the phone and let the team member at the kiosk know that we were ready! She let us go into the Space 220 entrance. Once we arrived inside the entrance, we had to wait about 5-10 minutes before boarding the elevator to go into space! It's such an amazing, immersive experience! We were provided a boarding ticket! When you go into the elevator, it's a circular launch pad. When you blast off, it goes from the Florida Theme park to outer space! You'll notice Florida getting smaller and smaller! Going up to the Space 220 restaurant was a little longer than going down! After riding the elevator into space, you'll board the space station. You'll see a rotating garden to your left before entering the restaurant. Our seats were towards the kitchen entrance, so we didn't get to fully experience space as if you were sitting in the middle of the restaurant. Our team member assisting us during our visit at Space 220 was amazing! I haven't had such great service like that in a long time! He immediately came over with waters and informed us of the menu offerings. Reviewing the menu, he also asked if we had any food allergies that the kitchen needed to be aware of. Space 220 menu is a pre-fixed, three course menu. Lunch times are from 11:30 A.M - 3:30 P.M ($35 - $59.99 per adult) Dinner times are from 4:00 P.M - 9:00 P.M (over $60 per adult) We ended up ordering the following Lift-Offs Wagyu Beef Carpaccio: Mushrooms, Pomegranate Seeds, Wagyu Beef, Cipriani Sauce Neptuna Tartare: Sushi Yellow Fin Tuna, Avocado Crema, Edamame, Wonton Crisp, Yuzu Dressing. I think there were a few other ingredients, too! We enjoyed both appetizers. The Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare was amazing, though! It was packed with flavor. The presentation of both dishes was beautiful! Star Course: Slow Rotation Zero-G Short Rib: Braised Short Rib, Cheddar Grits, Bacon, Rainbow Carrots, Haricots Verts. The short ribs were good. I had a few bites of it. It was tender and flavorful! 8oz Filet Mignon (Medium Well) with the Slow rotation Zero-G short rib sides instead!!! The steak was cooked perfectly! I'm so thankful that the waiter and kitchen were able to substitute the sides from the short rib dish. The cheddar grits blended well with the filet mignon! The carrots were scrumptious, too! Super Nova Sweets: Blue Planet: Chocolate Cheesecake, Cookie Crumbs, Vanilla Truffles, Raspberry. I really enjoyed the chocolate cheesecake! The cheesecake wasn't too sweet. The cookie crumbs helped to enhance the flavors of the cheesecake. The vanilla truffles were super yummy! Carrot Cake: Carrot Cake, Cream Cheese, Candied Walnuts, Toasted Pepitas. The carrot cake was good. It was moist and wasn't dried. The cream cheese wasn't too overpowering either! Space 220 was a blast! I really enjoyed the experience! This is a must if you're visiting Epcot!

Yelp
This was a bucket list restaurant for my friends and I. We were very lucky to get a last minute reservation for 7 people for 6pm. We waited in a holding area until 630 to be let into the restaurant. Once we were brought to our table, we were told we could not share and everyone was going to be charged the $79 per person if we ate or not. I really hate this idea for Epcot because we had already made several stops for food, and I really didn't want an app or a dessert. I feel like they could have let a lot more people in/out if we weren't forced to have a 3 course meal, and I would have been happier not being forced to order stuff I didn't care about. Anyway, the theming is cool in there but we were over it after about 20 min. I'm not sure if the cast members were telling the kids to blow in their straws like a kazoo but it was happening the ENTIRE time we were there. All the food was good, but nothing noteworthy. I got the butternut squash soup with roasted duck and it had about 5 crumbs of fried to death tiny cubes of duck croutons on it. It was delish but actual pieces of duck meat would have been better. Then I got the salmon which was good but the fried mushrooms on the side would have been also better not fried to death. Last was the chocolate cheesecake (pictured). It was not a cheesecake at all and more of a mousse. It was weird and had a slightly sour taste. It was pretty though. All in, not worth the hype. I could have been fine ordering a $35 salmon and been out of there in an hour. Instead we were there for almost 3 hours and paid $79 + tip. Meh. Try the bar seating if you can. A-la-carte and quick in/out.

Yelp
For my appetizer, I got the calamari which was good. 8/10 My entree, I got the grilled swordfish - it was a very big fillet so I couldn't finish it. I just wished they added more of the tomato based sauce because THAT was delicious. The couscous was cooked perfectly. 8/10 The dessert was BY FAR THE BEST. It a chocolate cheesecake with some sort of fruit compote. 10/10

Yelp
One of the few restaurants we will take time to dine in during our days at Disney. The staff are always fun and friendly and patient with tired kids. The food options are great and everything is delicious! One of the only places to get sparkling water which is nice. And the ambiance is super fun, relaxing and the best way to cool off!

Yelp
Four stars, because we loved the experience, but not enough to do it again for a while. I have a three year old and a six year old, so this is the view of a mom of young children. The experience is neat, you ride an elevator up to space and then get to see Earth from your seats. There isn't a ton happening on the screen, but the kids get a kick out of seeing an astronaut surf or walk their dog. The whole ambiance reminds us of Star Wars, so it felt like a bit of a missed opportunity that they didn't theme it that way. However, I loved all the black and the cutlery and chairs felt like they were made out of quality pieces, which helps justify the price. The price is expensive. For lunch adults get an appetizer and a main whereas children get a main and dessert. Beware, the children's dessert is gelato and it takes a long time to make. No joke, they make it in their kitchen and I believe they make it when it's ordered, so it felt like it took forever waiting for it. This meal was an hour and a half and usually we are in and out in an hour with children. For my food I got the burrata appetizer and the steak salad for my main. It was absolutely delicious. Both were winners in my book. My husband got the steak frites and my younger son ate so much of his steak. We learned here that my son loves steak. The gelato was actually really good. Sadly my kids didn't like it, but I took a couple bites. Our server was great until we wanted dessert and the check, then he disappeared. I think this is a great place to at least experience once. I probably won't be back until my children are older or if one of them takes an extreme interest in space.

Yelp
*review for lounge* I was determined to check out Space 220 on our Epcot day, and I finally got a reservation a month out to the Lounge. I didn't want a reservation for the restaurant because I wanted to try snacks/drinks instead of being forced into the prix fixe menu. The experience going up to the restaurant was really cool. You get a ticket to space and then you board the elevator to space. It's an immersive experience and nice touch. There is sometimes a long line of people waiting to go back 'down to Earth' though after you're done dining, which isn't as fun. Our server was Knut H. and he was funny! Great service even though he was super busy. It seemed like there were quite a few open tables, but not enough servers so they don't fill up the restaurant, at least when we were there. The restaurant itself was very cool, you definitely don't feel like you're in the parks when you're there. Dim, relaxing, and 'space-like' with large windows looking out into space. Illumination: It comes with passion fruit popping boba, which are quite fun to eat - very sweet though. Bacardi, Malabi, Passion fruit, blood orange, pineapple, lime sour, and the passion fruit boba. Illumination is similar to the other drink, P2OG, that my fiancé got, but he liked Illumination more. It has more depth, and it's definitely stronger on the alcohol as well. $18 Shrimp Tacos: So good that I ordered two orders of these, and I'm not embarrassed to say that I ate most of the two orders. The shrimp was very flavorful, and the wonton taco shell was crispy. The fried shallots on top were so good. $18 Space Age Mule: So good. If you like mules and fruity drinks, you'll like this. Not too strong, just right. Vodka, fresh carrot juice, mango, lime juice, ginger beer, tajin rim. $17 P2OG: If you like POG (Passion Orange Guava), you'll like this alcoholic take on it! Malibu, passion fruit, tangerine, guava, pineapple. $18 Astro Deviled Eggs: This was the only item that wasn't great. They were quite bland, and the supposedly maple glaxed bacon wasn't crispy or maple-y enough :( $12 Overall, I would definitely come back to the lounge if I could get another reservation. I still wouldn't try the prix fixe menu, though, to be honest. However, even if you book a reservation for the lounge, you can actually still order anything off the menu if you wanted to. Must visit in Epcot, in my opinion.

Yelp
Space 220 serves a 3 course pre-fixe menu for dinner at Universal Studios near Mission Space. And I'd like to say eating here was one of the coolest dining experiences I've ever had. Firstly, it's reservation only, and once you get there you wait in line to take a "spaceship" to space, which is basically a circular room with a floor visual of a rocket blasting into space. It feels real as well, because the room shakes and makes a lot of noise. It's so so cool. Once you get to "space", you walk into this grand dining room area, where the windows are of the planet Earth. You can see stars and astronauts doing weird things at times, but it's a really fun and unique experience. As for the food, the menu was pretty large, and I opted for the caesar salad for an appetizer, the short rib for my entree, and the carrot cake for dessert. The caesar salad was just your normal caesar salad, but it was very tasty nonetheless. The scallops with risotto, shrimp tacos, and calamari were good too. Then for entrees, My short rib was on top of this cheesy mashed grits I believe (which were SO good) and grilled veggies that were amazing. The short rib was big and tasty, but not as soft as other short ribs I have tried. I wish it was a little bit more tender and easy to eat. My family members got the filet mignon which we all loved and would DEFINITELY recommend. The salmon was alright, a little dry perhaps. In my opinion, the dessert was the star of the show. The carrot cake was AMAZING and super addicting to eat. I kept going back for more bites. The blue planet was really cool to look at, and it tasted great as well. The strawberry nebula was really rich and creamy. All in all, I loved dining here. It was so fun and unique. The service was wonderful. The food was good! Would suggest checking this out if you can get a reservation!

Yelp
Read as 3.5 stars. Ambiance is what you are here for, from the boarding pass you receive at check-in to the "lift off" and the view from the restaurant, Disney makes this a very unique dining experience. Food and drinks were overpriced and doesn't quite leave you feeling wowed. Prix fixe menu of apps and entree for lunch. Tried the calamari and shrimp tacos for apps and seared tuna for entree. Shrimp tacos were flavorful while calamari and seared tuna were both just ok.

Yelp
Space 220 was a fun lunch experience at Epcot in WDW. The view of space from the restaurant was ever-changing, with spacewalkers, space boarders, and even a space dog walker. Food was great, it's a prix fix menu so everyone orders an appetizer and main. Desserts are extra, but since we wanted to try the carrot cake ($14), they convinced us to try the trio that has a full size carrot cake, lemon sponge cake, and chocolate cheesecake for $18. Calamari, Brussels, and beet/goat cheese apps were delish, the carpaccio was unique and yummy but the calamari won out. I had the filet with pasta, I should have had the NY steak. After eating the steak bites out it looked like I had hardly eaten any of the pasta - so one could say it's a large meal. Kiddo loved the kids pasta and meatball, she got the sauce on the side and it was served very hot and needed time to cool. The old fashioned was delicious, and some of the kids drinks were served in a neat cup with blinking ice cubes. Overall a fun experience and of course the service was incredible. You'll most likely need to make advance reservations. I'm interested in reserving a lounge spot next time and saw they have a different menu.

Yelp
This was a very cool experience inside of Epcot. You get to ride in a space elevator that takes you up to a "space station" to have a meal. My kids loved looking out the windows to see what would float by. The food was good, above average but the price was quite high. Next time I would try to sit at the lounge and order less. We had fun but not sure if I would go often.

Yelp
I give it a 3.4 stars overall Food 3.5/5 Ambiance 3/5 (we sat at the end which can't see much of earth but saw space dogs) Price 2/5 Appetizer Buffalo cauliflower 4/5 The best of the appetizer we tried. It's crispy and tender and the Buffalo sauce gave it a nice kick. Calamari 3.8/5 Good standard calamari with the 2 sauces. Very enjoyable and not at all greasy tasting. Burrata 2.5/5 This one is not good. The salt somehow is not distributed properly. So some bites will be overwhelmingly salty and some will be tasteless. Entree Steak 3/5 Cooked well but nothing special for the price . Fries tasted like frozen groceries fries unfortunately. Good portion size 8oz on the steak. Burger 3.5/5 My kid enjoyed it a lot , came with nice crispy potato wedges The burger is also a good size. Salmon 3.5/5 My kid enjoyed this one too but the mushroom tempura was greasy tasting. And the greens that came with it were just ok. Overall it's an enjoyable experience. Cast members were great. For $55 a person it's a one time experience for our family. But we really enjoyed it.

Yelp
Hard to book, hefty price tag and sticky leather seats. To visit once and nevermore, Space 220 is your family friendly ticket to outer space. For dinner, your only option is to do a $79 pre fixe, which on paper seems not bad, but granted that you have great cheaper food options in the immediate vicinity and you have to get into the park first. Taste: 2/5 Ambiance: 5/5 (Very cool outer space theme) Service: 3.5/5 Value for money: 2/5 (How much would you like to spend for potentially nice photos?) We had: 1. Tortellini: Okay and doesn't seem to be on the menu anymore 2. Wagyu Beef Carpaccio: No taste, Chips are overpowering 3. Grilled Swordfish: Over seasoned, very salty, potentially a hit or miss, could have been good 4. Filet Mignon: Not bad 5. Carrot Cake: Not bad 6. Blue Planet: Probably the best thing we had (very sweet though!) 7. Their version of a Moscow Mule: Watered down like every other Disney specific cocktail. Go for tap! ($23 with a glowing cube! Yikes!) The only saving grace is what this place is known for, beautiful themed restaurant and with a chance of getting great photos if not too busy. Need to book way in advance, at least 45 days or more!

Yelp
We went to Space 220 for the first time this trip to Disney. The theming was excellent. We loved the ride into space before our meal. The giant screens were fun to watch during our meal. Both my husband and I felt a little underwhelmed by the menu options. We had gone right after a menu change and everything just sounded "okay" nothing that we NEEDED to try. I enjoyed my calamari, my husbands burrata was nothing special but good. My chicken was moist and well cooked and my husband enjoyed his Pork chop. The drink menu was pretty good and we both found beverages we enjoyed. Service was okay. Our server seemed a little less personable than the others around us, but overall we as good. Not the "Disney Standard" we were used to but overall good. Overall I don't think I'd be in a rush to go back at the price it is, though it's good to try once.

Yelp
we understood the hype- the process of departing epcot to travel 220 miles to dine in space was really cool, but the food and drinks didn't match the ambiance. maybe because space 220 followed our previous night's dinner... but the food was average at best. it has a lot of potentials but the appetizers seemed to have been sitting and the mains (we got pad thai and tuna) were just ok. drinks were very small and really fell short of what you would get at hyperspace lounge or oga's cantina- for a little more flare on the outer space theme. we were lucky to have scored a lunch reservation at 2pm to still make the cutoff for lunch menu, but with the hefty price tag for dinner i wouldn't recommend for dinner. we were also fortunate enough to be seated next to the window overlooking earth, so that was very special. i think space 220 might be a once and done for us.

Yelp
Friend scored a reservation here for our girls trip in the lounge area. This worked perfectly for us as we did not want the full sit down menu. We arrived at our reservation time and went to the waiting area until out rocket was ready. The elevator experience is super cool. We each got a drink and an app to share, sliders. Everything was delicious! Watching "space" out the window was so much fun!

Yelp
This August 2024 was our families 2nd time eating here. Reservations and check-in was easy. The elevator was pretty cool. Leaving earth and Disney looking down and looking up was the space platform. Very cool. Walking through the door and into the restaurant was an eye opener. The color was a light blue with the windows showing space and the stars with the occasional ship and astronauts. WOW!! Waitress was really nice. We all really enjoyed our food and drinks. Me being a space nut, I loved it. It really was a nice fun meal.

Yelp
Ahh getting to dine in Space! You get to depart to space in Epcot and it was my first time so it was definitely an experience. It's usually booked out so be sure to reserve beforehand so you can come here! Getting into the resturant was a ride itself! You receive a ticket to go to space then once it's your party turn to go to space you depart in a shuttle. Once up in space there are a lot of delicious food options! Which I have attached some pictures, it is a set menu price so you get to choose one appetizer and entree, we went during lunch and everything we got was delicious! It was def on the pricier side but you get what you pay and comes with the fun experience! Also if you're looking for the spinning cabbages it can only be found in space so you need to dine here to see it.

Yelp
People raved about the awesome experience in the elevator traveling up to space. Ummm, it was kinda stupid - sorry. The food was delicious although the party I was with didn't really share the same opinion. Overall experience was eh - not really mind blowing. Very expensive for what it was worth. Not missing out on anything - you can skip.

Yelp
I heard the rumors about this hidden gem at Epcot. I watched all the tips on how to get a reservation. I'm not a fan of booking something months in advance. Based on some advice, I checked reservations every morning at 6:00am. A few days prior I snagged a late afternoon reservation in the lounge. The lounge is the way to book. They say you have a limited bar menu but the server was so nice and let us order anything off the menu. The dining room only offers the prix fixed menu. It's an immersive experience from check in to dining. You take an elevator up to space. Well, at least that's what it feels like. It's definitely a fun time for space lovers. The cocktails and food items are space themed. We tried a few cocktails and chose several snacks. Everything was delicious. This is definitely a must visit when in Epcot.

Yelp
Overall the experience is pretty cool but I don't see how or why it's so hard to get a reservation. I think it's a bit silly considering the space is big and tables could definitely be turned a little faster since the menu is a prix fixe style menu. It's definitely nice to go and try one time but I wouldn't make it a priority. There's way better Disney dining experiences that don't require you to work so hard for a reservation. Also the food is ok. It's not anything out of this world (no pun intended) but it's basic enough to enjoy.

Yelp
Restaurant inside Epcot center. It's price fixed menu so you get an app, entree and dessert for $80 a person. They take you up an elevator to outer space where you get to sit and enjoy a view of the Earth. The Calamari app was very big and tasted really good. My pork chop was a little overcooked and and a result a little dry. But still good to eat. Overall every one enjoyed the experience and the food was very filling.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant was amazing, the food was fabulous, we had the lunch menu with steak and fries and the bacon cheese burger all in space. Our server Lacey was out of this world, literally (no pun intended ). She went above and beyond, she made the best space companion and if you have her as your server you are in AMAZING hands. Her manager Daniela was also fabulous and checked on my son multiple times to make sure he was having the best time. This was our first time here, and at Disney world and they truly made it the best experience.

Yelp
TL;DR Outstanding service. Cool atmosphere, if you're seated in the right spot. Food is very good. Cast member or annual pass holder discount ONLY honored during lunch service. BS! I am going to start in reverse, in case you don't read much more. Reservations are very difficult to come by. We scored a cancellation at 7:50 PM. When it was time to pay, the phenomenal waiter informed us they did not honor our son's cast member discount nor our annual pass holder discount. It's only during lunch service. Please know this if it pertains to you. Personally I think this is BS. Whispering Canyon honor's it for both. The food is very good. My salmon was super moist. Son's steak could be cut with his fork. My wife's chicken equally moist. Sous vide anyone? The hit was ours son's girlfriend's Pad Thai. So basic, yet so good. Not oily at all. If you didn't pay 80 dollars a person, this would be my go to dish every time and the recommendation! We sat to the right, towards the bathroom. Not a lot of visual appeal out the window. If we sat in the middle of the room it would have been much better! I have never had such an outstanding server in my life. I wish I could remember his name for here and to give him a cast compliment! It's worth eating here if you have money to burn or if you can dine during lunch with a discount. They serve Coke products and have a full bar.

Yelp
A surprise from my wife was getting us a coveted reservation at the talked about restaurant in "space" in Epcot. We had learned that it was best to book the lounge versus a prix fixed meal in the dining room. The lounge offered a limited menu but once got there, the server pretty much let us order anything on the menu. So, for your tip: if you want it from the regular menu just ask, you might be able to get it. The cool part was the check in and elevator ride. The immersive experience was definitely worth the price tag. I mean Epcot is about the dining options and being able to get this on our books was nice. The creative cocktails were pretty fun. I enjoyed a couple of their Bold Bourbon Old Fashions. We also shared a few food items even after just finishing a full bbq meal at another venue. It was my birthday month and I got a complimentary dessert. So tell them you are celebrating.

Yelp
Blast off to Space! Let me just start by saying how crazy it is to book a reservation at this place. Luckily, Yelp BFF and I have a Disney pro that was able to score us reservations. Disney did an amazing job setting up the experience! Who knew you could blast off and dine in Space from Disney World?? We didn't book our meal in advance, so we went the ala carte route. We ordered the deviled eggs, steak frites, and chocolate dessert to share. I recommend getting the deviled eggs! The pickled component added a nice contrast to the eggs. Definitely a fun time if you can book a reservation! While it was nice to visit space, I'm glad to be back on Earth. Thanks for reading my reviews! Let me know what I should try next!
