I'm not a big Starbucks guy. I know some people who can't function without their daily Starbucks fix, but up until about a little over a week ago, I hadn't been to any Starbucks location in years.
This particular Starbucks is located inside of Grady Memorial Hospital in downtown Atlanta. Once you walk inside the hospital's main entrance on Jesse Hill Drive, you make a left and then walk down a hallway. Once you get to the end of the hallway, you turn left and it's right there. It's smaller than most Starbucks are but they do have a little seating area. I always stand up when I'm there an waiting for my order but I have seen a few people enjoying their coffee while using their laptops, so I guess they have wi-fi connections there.
Not being too familiar with all the types of coffee and cappuccino they sell, it's always funny to me when I'm trying to tell them what I want while wearing a face covering that muffles my already low speaking voice. I've taken to ordering either the Veranda Blend coffee, the Mocha Latte, or the Caramel Apple Spice.
The best thing about that location is the customer service. Grady is a very busy hospital and the majority of their customers work there. Some of them try to order at the last minute before work and get rude about having to wait. From what I've experienced, it's best to get there before 7am if you don't have time to wait because it can get crowded after then. But the customer service I've received there has always been superb. I know they aren't getting paid much, so I commend them for their pleasant personalities.
The reason I'm bringing my rating down to a three is because for the the past few days I've been unable to order the Caramel Apple Spice because one of the machines has been broken. They always recommend something of a similar price and flavor but it's not the same. Also, sometimes when it's busy they may forget to put the coffee sleeves around the hot coffee and hand you the hot cup "bareback." While walking to my destination without the coffee sleeves, I have to keep switching the cup from my right hand to my left hand because it's so hot in my palms; or else I'll just get one of their napkins and put it around the cup. Other than that, I have no complaints about this Starbucks location.
