Table 22 par Noël Mantel

"In this very touristy area, a stone's throw from the Marché Forville, a serious and passionate team works to showcase fine ingredients and lovely Provençal flavours – charred mackerel, beefsteak tomatoes and a lime-ginger mustard; John Dory, green vegetables and bourride sauce... A mouth-watering menu from starter to dessert." - Michelin Inspector

The 18 Best Restaurants in Cannes, France | Eater

"At Table 22, chef Noël Mantel, who trained with Alain Ducasse, serves delicious Provençal-inspired dishes like risotto with veal sauce and roasted rack of lamb, along with an assortment of small plates including fried zucchini flowers, potatoes sauteed with chorizo, and socca, a crepe made with chickpea flour. A recent redecoration traded tired Provençal decor for a more modern look that retains a seaside theme. [$$$]" - Lane Nieset

What a gem of a restaurant in the Old Town! We enjoyed every dish and plan to come back again before our vacation in Cannes is over. As a family of four, with the youngest being 7 years old, we had no trouble finding something each of us enjoyed. To start, we had risotto (can also be ordered as a main course) which was OUT OF THIS WORLD, duck pate (the best I had in France so far and ive ordered it at least three other times at very distinguished restaurants) and truffle arrancini. For mains, we had lobster ravioli, catch of the day and beef - all to die for! We ended the meal with sorbet, strawberry tart (our daughter practically licked the plate) and rum babka (generous on the rum). Chef's kiss on everything!!! Thank you for a wonderful experience

The lobster ravioli was absolutely amazing. The filling was packed with delicious lobster meat, and the sauce had great lobster flavor. The beef fillet was also perfectly cooked.

I don’t like this visit. There is a lot much better places in Cannes . For starters we took arancini with truffle is awful ( from truffle is only name ) . Ravioli with lobster was nice ( but still a lot of onion inside) why put onion for lobster ? Strange . Lamb got main for nice and dessert was awful . I ordered chocolate biscuits and it was with alcohol ( it wasn’t written anywhere ) I don’t use alcohol and it wasn’t nice at all . Waiters doesn’t care if it at all …. For with out alcohol drink exist only water )))) very nice . This restaurant don’t cost this time and money . Just wasting of time

The place decoration is fine, however, the location is there anything special about. You just on the street, the service is pretty good, but they are very busy so your attention is limited. As for the most important thing about the food. They were just okay, my wife's rack of Lamb and my steaks is cooked right dones but that's about it. Nothing spectacular about. The best part about the light on the table. Is my personal opinion, the the quality of dishes just about equal to any store on the ministry of Cannes.

This was our fourth visit to this restaurant through the years. Many restaurants come and go, and delivering consistent high quality is a trademark of quality. This establishment clearly has that. Everything is exceptionally well done. Food is packed with flavors and high techniques. Plates are warm, plating is effortless but elegant. Service is on point and effective. The Winelist is super. We will be back next time in Cannes.

Delicious 5 star experience here with my work team - well presented, well thought out, flavourful food and great service. They have a few rooms in tge back that are cozy and charming, could be a good romantic date night

Beautiful restaurant with great local flavors. The menu is small but thoughtful. Interior is beautiful with art work on the walls. It’s located in the old town in Cannes. We tried a lot of different dishes and all were delicious! Great wine list as well!

Google
Great restaurant recommendation for Cannes. It’s in the city centre and is highly recommended. The food was wonderful/ service was excellent/ not a very exhaustive menu but whatever we ordered was delicious. We had the steak as shown in the pictures and tiramisu as desert / both were delicious and very good. Some of my friends had the ravioli and that was delicious too. Good wine list to accompany too ! Verdict 5/5 Budget - meal for 2 is easily 150 -175 depends on how much wine you have ! So it’s not that cheap. For more recommendations please check out my instagram page @s50ush

Yelp
Table 22 was OUTSTANDING! Our best meal in Cannes! While a stand-out , it is conveniently located in the hectic tourist area near Le Suquet. The food was exceptional! The service was caring, attentive, and genuine. The ambiance was intimate and cozy. I will not be surprised if Table 22 earns a Michelin star one day!

Yelp
We had tasty, bistro-type food here... It wasn't special but the ambiance was good. I think I could give this place a higher rating if the service was better. But the dinner took entirely too long- there just were not enough servers for the size of this place. Decent option if you're in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Delicious! The restaurant was able to still seat us very late and last minute. The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered the signature truffle risotto dish and the John Dory. The truffle risotto is absolutely amazing. The John Dory portion was very small but still very good. Thumbs up to Table 22!

Yelp
The best restaurant I've tried in Cannes. Friendly and attentive waiters, we were in 8 pax and they accommodated us with a kitchen view, so we could watch the magic happening. The burrata and beignets were great; the veal was amazing.

Yelp
Delicious French food for a fair price! It's one of those restaurants that has fantastic French food and a fun artsy atmosphere, without being completely outrageous! I came here for my birthday and I had a great time drinking wine, eating French food, and the waiter was also kind and attentive. The restaurant is in the old town of Cannes and it gorgeous and bustling at night on the weekends. It was a beautiful place to spend a birthday evening and I recommend coming here for anyone looking to celebrate a birthday!

Yelp
Had the absolute worst experience here!! I came here with my family. My sister and I are vegetarian and ordered the vegetarian tasting menu. We had spoken to our waiter at length about replacing the vegan dessert on the vegetarian tasting menu with the raspberry tart, per his suggestion. Then the food starting coming out... everything seemed fine. We got our first course ... it was gazpacho... a delicious vegetarian dish! Then a risotto came out for us, which was weird because we thought we were getting fried squash blossoms next but we knew we were getting a risotto third so we thought maybe the changed the order a bit. We both didn't like the risotto, we don't really like truffles and this dish was full of truffle. Then our next course came out... it was sea bass??! We sent that right back to the kitchen. What kind of vegetarian menu has sea bass on it?! Turns out the waiter thought we ordered another tasting menu... even after he lengthy convo about substituting a dessert on the vegetarian menu... My sister and I are both strict vegetarians and began to panic about the other dishes we had before the sea bass came out. We found out the risotto has beef broth in it and immediate told the wait staff we were both going to have a tough time digesting that. It's been over 15 years since we had any meat or animal by product. The waiter didn't seem to care. He said he would bring out a dish with squash blossoms for our final dish? We were ok with that but honestly... what the hell! How are you ok serving your customers something they didn't order that will make them sick?! After all this they also charged us for the vegetarian menu... didn't even get compensated for this HORRiBLE experience! My sister and I were sick for the whole next day of our vacation!! Never coming back here and I will never recommend this place!

Yelp
Mantel's Table 22 was by far the best dining experience I had on the French Riviera. The man with his name on the door, Noel Mantel, was actually IN THE KITCHEN preparing each meal!! His attention to detail was flawless. IF YOU WANT FRENCH FOOD, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. I learned that the history of this restaurant is as unique as the farm-to-table menu. Noel and his wife met almost 30 years ago while both were working on the Riviera. Noel was working with the world renowned chef, Alain Ducasse. Brenda and Noel fell in love at first sight, have raised a wonderful family, and remain soul mates. Brenda runs the office, and they have built this business together, paying attention to every detail... right down to getting their olive oil freshly pressed from a neighbors olive trees! The space is modern and comfortable, with original art work on the walls. There is an open kitchen, and its refreshing to see the master at work while he oversees his staff and prepares the meals. The food was absolutely spectacular!! The service was top notch. Brenda personally checked on our table during the meal, and Noel came from the kitchen to greet us and thank us after we finished. Their personal touch made a great meal a wonderful, memorable dining experience. If you are on the French Riviera, make the effort to visit Noel and Brenda. They make you feel like you are their personal guest! The public parking garage just steps from the front door made it super-easy to get there.
