The 38 Best Tacos in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"With Poblano roots from Huehuetlan el Grande Puebla and Coatzingo, Puebla — the land where Tijuana taqueros are forged — father-and-son team Don Cuco and Jonathan Rios have crafted one of Los Angeles’s best taco spots. Along with family friend Manuel Mendez, this group excels at making tacos, mulitas, and tostadas topped with tender chunks of well-chopped shoulder-clod steaks. Carved from the trompo outside the canopy is a spiral of tangerine-colored adobada — sweet, lightly marinated pork kissed by the flavors of cinnamon and dried fruit. The tacos come dressed with diced onions, cilantro, mild tomato salsa, and a heaping spoonful of creamy guacamole on a warmed corn tortilla. The family restaurant has three branches and a pair of street stands in East LA and Boyle Heights." - Bill Esparza

The Best Tacos al Pastor in Los Angeles, Ranked by a Mexican Food Expert - Eater LA

"Tacos Don Cuco, founded by Filemon Rios and his son Jonathan, is known for its charred carne adobada served on handmade yellow corn tortillas. The taquero slices the pork onto tortillas and another team member adds toppings like salsa de jitomate, chopped onions, cilantro, and guacamole. Their adobos and salsas bring authentic Tijuana flavors, and the team ensures quality control in every aspect." - Bill Esparza

38 Essential Tacos to Try in Los Angeles

"With poblano roots from Huehuetlan el Grande Puebla and Coatzingo, Puebla — the land where Tijuana taqueros are forged — father-and-son team Don Cuco and Jonathan Rios have crafted one of LA’s best taco spots. Along with family friend Manuel Mendez, who was on to help out at the 2018 opening, this group has managed to excel at tacos, mulitas, and tostadas topped with a tender mix of well-chopped chicken and shoulder clod steaks. It all comes dressed with diced onions and cilantro, mild tomato salsa, and a heaping serving spoon of creamy guacamole on a warmed corn tortilla. The family restaurant now counts three branches along with a pair of street stands (East LA and Boyle Heights)." - Bill Esparza

Our first time trying their food. They were the food vendor at Mt. Lowe Brewing Co. There was a little bit of a line, but it was cool to watch them make the food in front of you. I decided to try something different from a burrito or taco. The gentleman that took my order was super nice and helpful. I ordered: 1. Mulitas: It's a cheesy taco sandwich, and I chose to have chorizo in it. They chopped up a chorizo sausage, not like the one you make at home. It was so flavorful and juicy. I had this with everything on it. It was a flavor explosion with each bite. 2. Quesadilla w/ asada and adobada : I had everything on it, and it was a yummy messy goodness. It's very filling. 3. Watermelon agua fresca: Refreshing and a little too sweet for me. I can't wait to come back soon to try the vampiros. This was s Tijuanan style of food I've never had before, and it's amazing. It was reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend you to try.

Google
This is my go to spot nearby for tacos TJ style, super casual and if you’re not wanting to sit down bc they’re only set up to stand and eat with a few tables under a tent. Most of the meats are decent, not always as flavorful as expected unfortunately. If you go when they’re not so busy sometimes the stuff doesn’t feel as fresh/tasty. So that’s the only reason why I can’t ever give them 5 stars bc they’re not consistent. * the staff at this outdoor stationary spot in the parking lot I’d always nice. *** They’re CASH ONLY*** They have a Menu posted on the side for ordering: Prices as of Feb 2025: $3 tacos $12 burritos $7 large drinks On Tuesdays: $2 tacos — it’s a deal! :)

Google
Don Cuco used to be a great spot for late night cravings, but the last couple of times I’ve been, it’s been disappointing. The meat was tough. I ordered two vampiros and both had burnt tortillas. It feels like another place that made it big and now doesn’t try as hard or care. It's sad.

Google
Great street tacos in the heart of LA. Definitely worth the drive, surely will be enjoyed by everyone. This is no restaurant setting but you’ll surely enjoy authentic tacos etc here. Out of towners come to just try this place and are amazed.

0 REVIEW! The lady who serves the agua Frescas is so RUDE! my 7 year old wanted a small taste of the water and the stupid lady said " No you need to buy a water in order for me to give you a taste" not even in the mall they say that. Very bad service and bad attitude. For sure am not coming back! Remember people we as customers are helping businesses out in the streets. They need our money. The only thing these people have to do is treat others with respect.

Google
We love coming here for tacos, were always greeted with a friendly smile, and great tacos. We arrive with a smile on our face, and always leave with an even bigger smile.

Google
Great new Mexican restaurant in La Verne. I've been here 2 times now and their food is good. The Menudo is very clean and smells great. This is the first restaurant I've been to where they actually asked me if I wanted hominy, granos, in my menudo. I also tried their tacos which are pretty good. Their burritos are filling and taste great too.

Google
This use to be the spot to get my taco fix, now its a hit or miss, its been missing more than hitting in my opinion lately. Ever since they brought ALPASTOR to their menu, they lost their touch on the ADOBADA! Which was their signature meat! The seasoning isint there anymore, the chubby lady charging is hella rude, when asked for certain things. The taco is still TJ style, but it doesn't quite taste like a piece of Tj anymore! I was driving from Pomona area all they down here for this spot, thats how good it was, was worth the time and drive to come all the way here for the experience... NOT anymore. It had a good run... either way I keep wishing them success in their business. There's always room for improvement.

Yelp
Taco Don Cuco, located at the bustling El Gato Night Market, offers an authentic and lively street food experience. Known for its fast service and consistent lines, this food stand draws crowds with its delicious offerings and energetic atmosphere. You'll find a variety of options, including asada, pollo, chorizo, and adobada, served as tacos, tortas, tostadas, quesadillas, vampires, and mulitas. I enjoyed trying the adobada and asada tacos, loaded with toppings like salsa, guacamole, and onions. The flavors were smokey and outstanding, complemented by the self-serve station with fresh radishes and peppers. While utensils aren't available, napkins are provided for a convenient hand-held dining experience. Be sure to bring cash, as this is a cash-only stand. The setup allows you to watch the chefs grilling meats and assembling plates on the spot, adding to the authentic vibe. Positioned near stands that play lively music, Taco Don Cuco is located close to the market entrance, making it a perfect first stop as you immerse yourself in the night market's vibrant energy.

Yelp
Cash only! Pretty legit Tijuana style tacos. Thanks to Yelp for helping me find this gem. Tacos Don Cuco is located in a random shopping parking lot and I was surprised to see a lot of people there! They had a canopy tent and a few standing tables to eat at. It's a family run business. They speak very little English but good thing they have a visual menu offering. I got by with my little Spanish lol. I liked how I got to see them make their tortillas made to order and cook their meats, especially their rotating Al pastor. Salsas on the side to your liking. They even offer 5-6 flavors of Aqua Frescas. I really liked their pina flavor. I order 5 tacos totals, which consists of al pastor, carne asada, and adobada. I enjoyed the Al pastor the most. Carne asada is too smokey for my taste. Adobada was pretty good too. Generous taco portions and love the hefty avocado guac on top! For 5 tacos, it was $15. I would recommend!!

Yelp
Quick taco meet up? Make it a double date! This al pastor trompo had the perfect color and didn't disappoint This spot is literally bringing TJ to LA‼ The service was fast and the owners were really nice

Yelp
O my goodness. This I think is my favorite taco place in all of LA. I said it? Yes I said it. Should I be trusted? I don't know.. but I at baseline am not a huge taco person. So take it from someone who is picky about tacos and needs something to stand out.. this did it for me. I've gone several times, each time the marinated pork tacos kill!!! The beef as well. Sometimes the chicken. And the agua frescas - depending on your tolerance of sweet, I like things sweet but not too sweet - also killed, perfect flavor and refreshment to complement the tacos. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
If you like eating on the street this is for you! The food is delicious and the people are fun and friendly! They are in the parking lot if a market and lots of people so I felt safe, however, shame that not everyone cleans up after themselves!
google avatar

Yelp
taco stand that specializes in tijuana style tacos... honestly some of the best tasting street tacos I've had! The tortillas are made to order, so everything is fresh. The asada tacos are so tender & smokey! I love coming here because the workers are very friendly & appreciative of tips! (Seriously- they will express their gratitude when tipping) Ordered 8 tacos + drink and everything came out to be $31.
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
I LOVED the adobada. Better than their pastor, which was good. Their tripa was great too. Solid tortillas.
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
The tacos look amazing. Customer service is phenomenal super nice staff. They do take cash only. Area is calm but it is outside in the parking lot of superior so there is that to consider. There is an ATM inside with a $3 atm fee to withdraw cash. The green salsa you can grab at check out is tasty. The tacos did lack flavor. The meat looked good, but was not seasoned. Recommend the vampiro ‍

Yelp
It feels like a family run operation. This place is located off of Whittier, a main street in East Los Angeles. This stand specializes in Tijuana style tacos. Folks here or friendly and it has a cool, welcoming vibe to it. It's also cash only. I came here on a weekday night on my way home from work, so just like me, it was obvious that other people were just getting off of work as well, trying to grab food. I ordered my usual when I go to a new spot: tacos and a mulita. I got carne asada tacos and a chorizo mulita. The meats here had a delicious smoky flavor. And the tacos received that signature Tijuana style taco dollop of guacamole. Oh, and they have the masa to press and make the tortillas fresh here. Once you order and they had your food you go to pay off to the side. Over there there's some sauces and fresh limes, cut up as well as grilled onions. This place pretty much ticks all the boxes of my favorite types of taco places: delicious, fresh tortillas, reasonably priced, and fresh produce for the toppings. I'm a huge fan and I would recommend for sure. Parking is pretty easy as well as it's located in a pretty big lot. I was able to find parking really quick and easy.
google avatar

Marc N.

Yelp
The tacos here are pretty ok. I got the al pastor, steak, and lingua. I think I was sad because they basically precook and cut all the al pastor and steak, so it's warmed rather than cooked on the spot for you, but the lingua.... they bring out a whole tongue and chop it in front of you in big chunks. I'll give this place 4 stars purely because the lingua was that good. I've never had it where I can actually taste the tenderness of each chunk. The serving size is also pretty generous too.
google avatar

Liam R.

Yelp
Had Tacos Don Cuco at Night Market El Gato and was overall a great experience. Tacos were $3 each. The al pastor tacos were delicious, though the carne asada were not as flavorful. Really appreciated that the tacos came with generous servings of guacamole; the servings on some were even a bit overpowering. Service was fast and friendly. Food truck ambiance at the Night Market was festive.

Yelp
I'm so glad I found this taco stand. The smell of the carne being cooked al carbon drew me in. They have adobada cooking with pineapple on a metal rod. The service is speedy and efficient. You order your food with the taquero at the front. He makes the food and hands it to you. I ordered a taco de pollo, asada, and adobada. The tacos taste authentic, just like the ones in Tijuana. Their handmade tortillas are a bit on the thin side, but we're delicious. The meats were all tender and flavorful. I also love that they have chiles asados on the side to spice up your meal. To the left of the taquero, they have a wide selection of aguas fescas. A few interesting flavors that I don't usually see were pitaya and maracuya. I'm a big fan of agua de pepino and ended up choosing that one. The agua tasted fresh and lightly sweetened. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
AMAZING! Adobada and Al Pastor tacos all the way here! Taco Hopping in East LA, and I've gotta say I definitely enjoyed this spot. The flavor was here! I recommend this spot for some good tacos for a fair price! The guy who took my order was chill, helpful and patient. I liked the location for this spot due to it being in a plaza like area, more spacious.

Yelp
I was a loyal customer overlooking their "cash only" policy. But after yesterday I won't be returning anymore and I don't recommend it to anyone. When I went yesterday I ordered two quesadillas two tacos and a burrito. When it was time to pay, the lady asked which kind of quesadilla it was. I was surprised because no one mentioned there were two different kinds. She went to ask the cooks and came back giving me a total of $43 to which I was surprised because I don't remember quesadillas being more than $9. Anyway I initially told the lady we'd leave a taco behind because we only took $40 cash. Then she said they accepted Zelle. I told her I'd pay $13 on Zelle and $30 cash which she then responded that I needed to Zelle her the full amount. Already irritated at the situation I proceeded to confirm the amount being $43 which she then told me it was now $47 because they charge a dollar for every $10. At this point I was extremely irritated because not only do they not put up the prices beforehand but also they don't tell you upfront the up charges for different things. I was completely unaware they had different quesadilla prices or that they charge an extra dollar for cheese on your burrito. And then to charge a dollar extra for every $10 amount on Zelle???? Ridiculous!!! Never coming back they're ripping people off!!!

Yelp
This place offers one of the best and most authenic Tijuana style street tacos in all of LA. I have had many tacos growing up in LA, and none were able to compare to this taco stand. Among their taco menu, there were beef, pork, and marinated pork, their pork and marinated pork were the best. There were also two sauces available, green and orange, and boy! the green sauce was spicy as F! My coworker also recommended their tostada, I will def try them on my next visit! https://www.instagram.com/p/ClFx1nJrUCK/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

Yelp
Man what happened to this place ?? Used to be an ok taco place..now it sucks!!!! Like really really sucks !! I order 4 asada and 2 chorizo . The chorizo were ok but the asada was all reheated meat and hardened with no flavor .. even the tortilla was not freshly made .. again this place used to be good now it sucks and I'll never come back here again!!

Alex A.

Yelp
Tacos are bomb! Handmade tortillas! the meats are cooked to perfection! Agua Frescas on point!

Yelp
This places keep increasing their prices while the quality is dropping. It was a nice spot while it lasted. Not worth it

Yelp
Had the pleasure of checking this place out. I definitely wanted to try more of LA's Mexican food and this place was good. We ordered their al pastor and asada tacos. al pastor had a lot of crunchy caramelized bits but I prefer soft. The asada texture was softer but I preferred the flavor of the al pastor more. For my friend it was the opposite. I would pass on the al pastor tostada next time, it was meh compared to everything else: too much crunch in the meat with the shell. Definitely get the molitas and I would get that with chicken next time since that was also al pastor. The pollo quesadilla is also really worth it as well and has a good ratio of everything. their guacamole could have used some seasoning but i would rather something be bland and unsalted rather than too much of both. i think if they put a tad bit more seasoning on their chicken and a little salt on the guacamole, it would be perfect. their pineapple juice was so fresh and pulpy. The first part of our order was four al pastor tacos, al pastor tostada, al pastor molita which cost $29. The second part of our order was two asada tacos and one pollo quesadilla which cost $16. They are super quick to fulfill orders and regulars helped us on what to order as well. I want to go to other places to build my palette and see how Tacos Don Cuco compares.

Yelp
The best tacos in LA? Probably so. It is among the best. Definitely in East LA. I go on regular taco crawls and their tacos are outstanding. This is my pick right now for best Tijuana-style street tacos in Los Angeles. They have a limited selection of meat -- adobada, asada, chorizo, and chicken. I tasted the adobada, asada, and chorizo. You will want to order the adobada (my top pick). My first round of asada was good, but the second round of asada was cold and chewy. They have mulitas, vampiros, and quesadillas as well. You'll want to head straight to the taquero to place your order then pay after you order. The salsas are in bottles located at the tables. They have a mild salsa verde and a spicy red salsa to choose from. The cooks don't speak English fluently so you'll get to practice your Spanish when ordering. If you have trouble communicating what you want, the cashier might be able to help as she was fluent in English. Visit on a Taco Tuesday and get your tacos for $2 each instead of $3. The tortillas are freshly made and the service is friendly and prompt. Parking is abundant in a lot shared with brick-and-mortar businesses so most likely you won't have any issues. They are open every day from 5 pm to 11:30 pm. I have had consistency issues at taco spots in LA so you have to cross your fingers for a good taquero the night of your visit. The one consistently great asada taco I've had in LA is at Taqueria Mi Ranchito in Sylmar. No one can beat them (yet). If the owner Jesus makes your taco, it's even better. When it comes to tacos, I am picky and difficult to please. Tacos Don Cuco is serving some of the very best adobada tacos in greater Los Angeles. It's not just Instagram hype. I am hoping it will still be very good during my next visit.
google avatar

Art A.

Yelp
Got 12 tacos 2 quesadillas and two flavor waters for $75.00 good tacos but too expensive for my taste. 5 of the 12 tacos were lengua (thong).
google avatar

Brenda A.

Yelp
Best freaken tacos!!! Came here recently to tried them out. Was not disappointed. I order two asada mulitas with avocado!!! The tortillas are hand made to order. They added some cheese which melted right away... Mmmmm, delicious There's a lot of parking around, they've a few high tables if you wanna munch right away, no seats. I recommend you enjoy it in the comfort of your car, do not leave the premise 'cause you'll probably want more! There was a line and the wait time was a little long but totally worth it, guess they just happened to be busy that night. I also tried their agua de jamaica (hibiscus water). Totally worth it! Bring cash!!!
google avatar

Peter R.

Yelp
Service: service here like most tacos stands was great. Food: we ordered the asada, pastor and Tripas tacos.. along with an asada quesadilla. The tripas weren't as good for us since we like them fried and crispy. Everything else was really really good! Drinks: they have aguas frescas, canned and glass bottled sodas. Pricing: the pricing is super cheap, except for their aguas frescas... don't rally remember how much they were but I remember thinking they were really pricey. Location (int./ext.): this place is located in a parking lot of a supermarket which is located on Whittier Boulevard.
google avatar

Jacky R.

Yelp
I love going here on a Tuesday when the Al pastor tacos are two for 1!! The service is great and there's plenty of parking.

Eddie S.

Yelp
Fresh handmade tortillas and guacamole was good the torta was a little salty but good quality
google avatar

Yelp
I will say that this is prob the best taco spot I've been to in a long time and I've grown up and lived in SoCal my entire life. Authentic TJ tacos with fresh guac. Staff and nice and helpful.
google avatar

Claudia O.

Yelp
The tacos used to be so good I don't what happened to this place. The adobada was crunchy dry felt like it was reheated and tasted like that. The asada was bland no flavor. The tortillas were cold. Definitely won't be back this is the second time the food was bad. Such a shame
google avatar

Mercedes L.

Yelp
These are thee best tacos in the whole world. I come from Mexico where tacos are "number 1 " Pero estos tacos Dejan cortos a todos. No se quien sea El dueño pero GRACIAS ! Estos tacos son los Mas perrones que eh provado en Toda mi Vida!

Victor R.

Yelp
Came for a vampiro and it did not disappoint, service was awesome and the staff is super friendly. Must go to place for some late night eats.
google avatar

Jaime C.

Yelp
Best street tacos I have had. They grill everything fresh in front of you chop it and fix your food to order. Quick friendly service taco comes ready to eat. Everything you can want from a taco stand asada is the best in my opinion but I have tried all of them they are all good.
google avatar

Roven M.

Yelp
For about $19. I got one Torta Adobada and one chorizo taco. Had a smokey aftertaste I enjoyed. Handmade tortilla. They also sides of salsas, onions, jalapeños, and radishes. Decent size parking lot. They only accept cash. Bun was super soft, meat was tender, and onions were fried to perfection. Perfect translucent color and slightly sautéed. They add guacamole to the tacos, but it is Tijuana tacos, so the guacamole is more a sauce compared to the chunky dip. They also red salsa to each taco. Service was quick. Definitely coming back.
google avatar

Mirian R.

Yelp
Wow! If you are looking for authentic and delicious tacos, this is the place! I was desperately looking for a place to get good tacos and I stumbled upon this place. Their service is great. They are clean and quick and delicious. I totally recommend it.
google avatar

Rex X.

Yelp
Two of my favorite taco descriptors? Tijuana-style and al carbon. Come back and order tacos: 2 x Adobada 1 x Pollo The asada and chorizo are also excellent. Chorizo is lightly sweet and doesn't taste like soyrizo. Beautifully thin hand-made corn tortillas are grilled and then topped with loads of meat and guacamole. The adobada alone is worth the price of admission. Slightly sweet and reminiscent of char siu or sweet and sour pork. Definitely the best thing I've eaten in a while. Eating here reminding me of the first time I had a really good taco, at Tire Shop years ago. Single tear.
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
Great tacos, location is behind a shopping center kinda dark in the evening not much lighting, it's unfortunate with L.A. traffic and the population growing it should have took me about 10-15 mins but it took me about 45 mins each way, if you don't mind the traffic and eating tacos in the dark I recommend this place
google avatar

Isabella S.

Yelp
tried their tacos at el gato night market, and i swear, if you could've scanned my brain as i took a bite, all the dopamine and serotonin centers would've been off the charts. after you try tacos don cuco, just pull up that clip of brian cranston in malcolm in the middle saying that there's no going back to the life before it.

Kai P.

Yelp
We needed a taco guy to cater 40 people for our son's 21st birthday. Tacos Don Cuco came through and were wonderful. Very friendly and the flavors were delicious. Very friendly staff!!

Yelp
Aaammmaaazing! So fresh! Flavorful! I could have ate more but I ran out of cash, so Make sure you take plenty of cash.

Yelp
So how lucky are we to be able to go out in January to this pop up location in a light sweater and enjoy these fantastic dishes. My son comes here with his coworkers almost every Friday [and its a long haul] so he and I were alone for an evening dinner [yes the girls ditched us] so he suggested I finally try these tacos. Well they serve a lot more than tacos. I had a mulita and a couple of tacos and I saw that they also have quesadillas, tortas and vampiros. The tacos are made with hand made tortillas. While we are in line, and there is always a line, we peered over to see two women using their wood presses to make the tortillas. I had a adobada because the guy suggested it and I am glad to have taken his suggestion. I also had a chorizo mulita. This is not your typical chorizo, its much more like a longaniza which is more of a sausage than a chorizo. Growing up my parents had a butcher friend that used to make it like this but I must say this is the best i have had since I was 12. The guys making your tacos are pretty cool. They put on a little show with him tossing the guacamole from one side of his body to the other side of his body and catching it in the taco. Can you imagine how many tacos this guy has made to be able to make sure he is catching the guac. My son had a chicken torta and it was equally delicious. They have all the sides you need: red and green sauce, radishes, lemons, etc plus some drinks. This January evening they had Mexican hot chocolate Champurado but again we're in Cali and it was probably high 60's. I was laughing because I will be in Indiana next week and one of my coworkers was telling me that in the summer, they have street taco trucks in Fort Wayne too. Its ALWAYS SUNNY IN CALIFORNIA! Well, almost.
google avatar

Amber N.

Yelp
Not worth the price, the carne asada meat had so many pieces of chewy fat still left on, and tortilla had no flavor. Very expensive for the quality of meat they were using. The salsa containers were filled up 1/8 of the way. The quality and quantity there isn't matching the amount they want to charge. Honestly never going back, I only came bc the reviews looked good. Definitely a waste a money.

Yelp
After watching Taco Chronicles on Netflix you are left with a craving for some tacos. So, I was in the area and I looked up tacos and found this little set up on a parking lot behind Whittier in the heart of East LA. I wish you could smell what I smelled as I got off the car. I didn't even mind the delicious bbq smell penetrating my long hair. Back to the tacos. As you approach the set up you'll see a table with the drinks, taco toppers and salsa. Behind that table you'll see the tortilla table where they are making the tortillas fresh. Right next to it you'll find the table where you can order your tacos. They have a small grill where the meats are cooking and where your tacos will be prepared. I ordered one asada taco and one adobada I'm not sure which one I liked more. They were both really good. As good as it'll get for a TJ style taco LA. The meat was clean. The guacamole was nice creamy and chunky all the same time. I added a green salsa that they had on the table and it was a little too spicy for me, but it just made all the flavors come alive. Besides the green salsa you can add another red salsa, but I heard it's extra spicy.

Yelp
Best Mexican tacos in LA!!!!!!!!!!!! Even the aguas were fresh and delicious!!!!!!!!!!!

Jewls B.

Yelp
Me and my friend wanted to give this place a try but once we went the tacos were chewy and it needs more seasoning. Would not recommend .
google avatar

Andy C.

Yelp
Amazing tacos!! Love the dollop of guac that they include with the meat and handmade tortillas. I liked their asada and adobada the most, compared to their other meats.
google avatar

Alice H.

Yelp
I had the adobada and the pastor tacos and they were $3 each but made Tijuana-style with guac. A good amount of meat and handmade tortillas as well. Both of the salsa options are spicy so I used no salsa but the meats are still really well seasoned and don't leave any salsa longing lacking. I didn't add cheese but next time I will try it but I'm almost afraid that the heaviness of cheese will take away from how good the meats are. Pastor was good but the adobada was amazing. I guess the flavor of being cooked on the grill is just unmatched lol. I will also try chicken next time.

Yelp
Don't order the carnes asada tacos nothing but reheated meat the meat was so burnt it looked like charcoal and was super crunchy. On top of that it's ridiculously overpriced. 4 tacos, and a horchata $19.00 freaking dollars for the worst tacos I've had in East LA. Avoid that piss poor overrated taco dump.

Yelp
The definition of quality street food. There isn't a single short cut these guys take when it comes to preparation. No need to go to Mexico for authentic food when you have this spot right in Los Angeles.

Yelp
Amazing food. Big portions. Amazing service, se siente uno en casa. The ambience is great, the smell, the people enjoying their food. Everything ties in together perfectly. Going back most definitely.
