"What’s the best order at Don Cuco? Everything, really. This Tijuana-style taco stand in East LA (with other locations in Westlake and Pomona) specializes in meats al carbón, and you’ll end up eating an excellent taco by just pointing at whatever you see sizzling on the charcoal grill and letting them chop away. That said, the soft-braised lengua and al pastor carved from the spit are great, too. Each $3 taco ($2 on Tuesdays) is handed to you neatly swaddled on a warm corn tortilla pressed to order and decorated with a vibrant color wheel of salsas paired with each meat (bright salsa verde on the lengua, potent salsa roja on the adobada, etc)." - Sylvio Martins
