"The trio started Three Kings in January 2012 with the opening of pan-Asian tavern Talde in Park Slope. That successful opening and Talde’s rising star as a Top Chef personality kickstarted a wave of other restaurants from the trio, though it hasn’t been smooth sailing." - Stefanie Tuder

"Talde in Park Slope, a pan-Asian restaurant by Chef Dale Talde, closed after nearly seven years. Known for dishes like oyster and bacon pad Thai and pork and chive dumplings with pretzel skins, it earned a star in the Times for its lively, though inconsistent, food. The restaurant was a staple in the neighborhood and had expanded to other locations before its closure." - Serena Dai

Definitely worth a spin on your tour of south slope restaurants. Price is higher so ide recommend you go straight for the entrees. Portions are share size but you’d be fine with 1-2 for 2 people. Lots of cocktails and beautiful interior. 4/5 solid choice, not my favorite pad Thai of park slope but quality entrees and great decor.brunch is served on weekends too

10.7.17 - This is the second time eating here, and the first was the third week it opened, so it's been a few years. Pretty good albeit a little salty. I would skip the pretzel dumplimg; the fried rice is okay, but over priced; the grits are nothing special, but good; the wings are small and not juicy And the waffle is a little oily, but okay; the tots were really good; the Red Beer is thin and loses its effervescent quickly. All in all, it's meh, but a good place for groups.

Fun, buzzy restaurant that has great food and great cocktails. The menu is pan-Asian with a modern twist and everything really delicious. The pork and chive dumplings, chicken wings and yuzu guacamole are my personal favorites. Not at all stuffy - great for a group.

This place is Excellent! Had to go back a second time in the same week! Absolutely love the crab fried rice and the crispy oyster and bacon pad thai. Absolutely DELECTABLE!

went for brunch during NYC’s first snow, place emptied out quickly and there was no wait, pretty cool fusion and the prices are decent. we had the general tso’s chicken and waffles and the bacon pad thai - SO GOOD. also the bottomless bellini’s were more than worth it.

Love this place! They could do more with the decor but the service was excellent and the food outstanding. The waiter recommended the crab fried rice and that's something I will get every time I come here. It's supremely delicious. We also had the beef with noodles, it was tasty and well prepared but a little forgettable. I did like the drink he recommended as well, it was the ginger rose and it was dry and tasty. The bartender definitely knows what he's doing They have a brunch service as well so I'll be going for that.

A crowed fusion asian restaurant but IMO none of the favour mixes well, felt very forced. Some of the dish were way over salted too.

The first time we visited Talde a few years ago, at the beginning of a busy Saturday night, the food was delicious, freshly prepared, and the service excellent. Each time we've gone back both food quality and service have gone downhill, especially on weeknights. At a recent visit we found the pork and pretzel dumplings stale, tough and lukewarm, as though they had been cooked hours before. We visited again last night and found our old favorite, the chicken wings, overly salty, underseasoned although swimming in a gloppy sauce and very small for the portion and price. Same goes for the shrimp and walnuts...and to add insult to injury $25 for an appetizer-sized portion. The watermelon and shaved snow pea salad was bright and delicious. Add on a cocktail and our meal for two, two appetizers and one entree, with tip, came to almost $80. And our waitress pressured us to order more food! Tired and overpriced, so we won't be going back any time soon.
