10 Easy LA Day Trips For Hiking And Drinking

"Anaheim has no shortage of great breweries - Bottle Logic, Noble Aleworks, and a soon-to-open Modern Times outpost - but if you’re only going to one, make it Bruery Terreux. This is an experimental spot that specializes in farmhouse and wild ales - and we really do mean specialize. This is one of the only breweries around where you’ll never see a pale ale, IPA, or pilsner. They barrel- or foeder-age most everything, and make some great fruited beers like Les Ronces (a boysenberry sour ale) and numerous iterations of Bruesicle, a blended blonde involving combinations like mango and habañero, or raspberry/blueberry/marshmallow (we promise it’s better than it sounds). Before you stop here, take a quick hike at Weir Canyon Trail. It’s a 3.5-mile loop with incredible views of both the mountains and the ocean, and is enough of a workout that you’ll feel good about all the beer you’re going to drink tonight." - brett keating

Hands down my favorite bruery that I've been to. They have the BEST selection of dark beers with amazing flavors! I love their outside area too, covered and with plenty of seating and there's usually a food truck too! The staff is great especially Troy who is so nice and accommodating, you instantly feel welcome and like you're talking to a friend! Will definitely be back very soon! 🍻

After a friend's recommendation, I decided to check out this brewery. As a stout fan, I was pleased to see several options on the menu. I ordered a flight from the "Bold & Brave" section to sample them all. My favorite was the Minty Scoops, which had a pleasant and subtle flavor. The Thrill Rider was my second choice, with a more noticeable boldness. The other three stouts were a bit too strong for my personal taste. The brewery has both air-conditioned indoor seating and an outdoor area. We arrived shortly after they opened, so no food truck was available, but we were able to bring our own food and snacks. They also offer two tiers of memberships, which provide access to exclusive members-only beers

As a local realtor, I’m always looking for unique and memorable venues to host client appreciation events—and The Bruery in Placentia absolutely blew me away! We held our recent “Mega Social Media Networking Event” event here, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The selection of craft brews is nothing short of impressive. Whether you’re a seasoned beer enthusiast or just exploring, The Bruery’s innovative, bold, and flavorful offerings, especially their barrel-aged specialties are a true standout. The atmosphere is inviting and stylish with just the right mix of cozy and cool, making it an ideal setting for both casual hangouts and private events.

I am a beer nerd and I really believe this is by far the best beer I have ever had in my life. Its almost not even beer with all the unique blends and barrel aging they do. The space itself is inviting and fun to hang out in. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They add to the overall amazing experience of visiting. People, this is beer Mecca

Google
Nice location with great beer selection on draught. I decided to join the Membership for dark barrel aged beers and it gave me access to so many bottles online. They are also releasing multiples beers every month. Pricing is pretty decent especially with the additional discount for members, etc. The focus on using 375 ml size is also more attractive.

Google
Played Music BINGO and enjoyed some delicious brews. I've been wanting to go here for years and finally got the opportunity. I'll be back with friends later next month and am glad Redding carries many of their products. The employees are phenomenal and made my first visit one to remember. They truly have something for everyone.

Google
Obviously great beer. I thoroughly enjoyed their horchata beer. I've been enjoying their beer for many years now. I was finally able to visit this location, and I was surprised to see how commercial the process is here. You have to order at the bar, no matter where you sit, which is cool. Let's just say I'm sitting at the bar and everyone that works behind the bar is sitting in the warehouse talking amongst themselves. I guess they're making enough money that they can disregard who is at the bar just trying to interact and enjoy their beer. I guess I was expecting a friendlier experience. Especially when it's not that busy at 6pm on a Saturday.

Google
If you like big beers, this is the spot - 10, 12, 14, 16%+. They got em all. Sometimes I like big beers, sometimes they don’t like me so much. Nonetheless it’s always a good experience at the Bruery.

Yelp
How have I never written a review for The Bruery? I've been there at least ten times with my partner in crime...and boy, it's one of my favorite breweries in the world. If you know me, you know I love dark beers...forget IPAs...blah. Bruery always has a plethora of darks...and I never know what to pick because they're ALL delicious and all HEAVY...I mean, make sure you go with someone you trust because you're about to spill all your deepest, darkest secrets to them! Love the tasting room and the outdoor seating. They usually have a food truck on site and also some board/card games. Staff is always on point and friendly... 5 stars! Cheers to Bruery!

Yelp
The beers here were just okay. It was like $10 or $11 per pint and the 10% off with check in helped a bit, but I don't think it was worth the price tag. Their hazy IPAs were pretty strong and I had the Retreat. I forgot what the name of my second beer was but it was an IPA. Pretty bitter. Many other breweries have $7-8 pints and maybe charge more for sours due to the amount of fruit used, so until the prices here Retreat a bit more, I'd recommend checking out other places.

Yelp
When you drive up for the first time the outside may not be as impressive as some of the big name places. But the place is comfortable and quaint like a small brewery which I feel is more personable than some of the big breweries. We were there for the first time and we couldn't ask for 2 better employees. Allie and Brent were very helpful and knowledgeable about all the beers. We asked about the membership and they explained it very clearly to how it worked. We had a flight and a few splashes of their beers and they were all excellent. It was late when we got there so we didn't have time to stay and drink more though I would had love too. We join the club as I felt it was a great deal and the beers you get for joining offset the cost. We will be sharing our beers with our friends who also love great craft beer. We don't live close but will be stopping in as often as we can get there. Troy

Yelp
We have been coming to the Bruery on Tuesdays for a quite a while now for trivia night. They have a ton of beers to suit anybodies taste including lagers, ales, IPAs, stouts, sours, slushies & seltzers, and even non-alcoholic. The first few times I went, I did a beer flight to to try out several different beers but now I pretty much stick to my favorites (currently Or Xata). They do change up parts of the menu a lot, but the popular ones are always available. If you are a true beer connoisseur they have a beer club and a whole list of members-only beers. The staff is always awesome, and they'll even let you try a little taste of something without having to roll the dice if you're on the fence about a selection. There is a ton of parking available, plenty of seating inside including tables and at the bar, and a big outdoor seating area also. It is often on the chilly side inside so dress warm or bring a sweater/jacket if you get cold easily. They have rotating food trucks there most evenings. I have to give a shout out to Ozzy who does an outstanding job the trivia on Tuesday evenings. They also have bingo nights and other events periodically.

Yelp
We had a blast at the Bruery! This place was on my husband's brewery bucket list, and it was the halfway point for a meet up with friends, so it was an easy choice. My hubs has loved their beers for a while, so I was DD. We knew they have heavy hitters here and boy did they. They had such an extensive list of options, including plenty of options for me to keep it light as well. They were happy to give us tastes so we could commit to favorites. I had a delicious "Or Xata" that was a blonde that tasted just like horchata, then I had their frozen grove kiwi slushie that was delectable on a hot day. I finished with an Off Shoot Peach seltzer. Hubs had several stouts, a triple IPA and a belgian quadruple. They had a pizza guy out front and games on the tvs in side. There were also an assortment of games to play for folks. Would love to come back when we are in town again.

Yelp
Great brewery to stop by. I would like to have came a little bit earlier, I had arrived near closing times. The outdoors so nice, but it was so cold this night that I decided to sit inside. They have a great selection of beers and flights.

Yelp
A great brewery with a wide selection of beers to choose from with plenty of seating inside and outside for large groups and it's also family friendly which is a huge plus! There's plenty of parking available and the staff here are so friendly and helpful when it comes to picking a beer to try out and they let you sample whatever you want. They have a food truck here every day and have live music here once or twice a week. On my most recent visit today, I tried the Will Ube Mine? and La Petite Provision (2024) and both were delicious and unique! They rotate in new flavors every month and also have an annual membership you can join to try some exclusive brews for a limited time. The Bruery is a great brewery and one of my favorites in Socal!

Janae P.

Yelp
The brew was good. It was nice to sit outside. It wasn't loud at all. The staff kept to themselves. That allowed a lot of conversation and relaxation. I did have to get up to order food and beverage, but I didn't mind it at all.

Yelp
I don't think there's anything left to be said that hasn't already been said about this place. As a San Diegan, whenever I get the chance to drive up to the OC, I hope to make a stop at The Bruery. I also can't wait to introduce this place to others, as they're taken aback by the ABV they're not accustomed to with their beer. Got to spend a good hour here going through a couple flights, comparing notes and whatnot. Interior was wonderfully air conditioned but the outdoor patio area was also very pleasant. The Bruery earns its great reputation in my book!
google avatar

Yelp
We came to the Bruery to support our favorite food truck but left as huge fans of the beer. Since it was our first visit, the bartender was very helpful in making recommendations based on our tastes. The Mischief was bold and wonderful, and my husband loved the Check Your Schwartz. Ordering a flight is the perfect way to sample the unique beers on tap. The outdoor ambiance is wonderful, but there is some indoor seating as well. If you're looking for a chiller brewery vibe, this is it. The parking lot is massive, so no need to be concerned about finding a spot. There is only a single restroom for each gender.
google avatar

Yelp
Great and wide selection of brew flavors...maybe a few more IPAs Food truck about to sample Great curated beer samples Great parking and fun people

Yelp
The Bruery is a haven for craft beer aficionados and any and all who crave a quality beer. It's also family friendly which is a huge plus. Their menu selection and variety is impressive with beers ranging from sours to pale ales to stouts. I recommend their build your own flights so you can sample up to 5 beers. There are additional menu choices for Society Members because membership has its privileges! Located in an industrial park near the intersection of the 57 freeway and Orangethorpe Avenue, the Bruery offers seating indoors in their tasting room and also plenty of outdoor seating. I didn't see a kitchen on the premises, but we did pay a visit to the Seafood Shack food truck parked outside. Their culinary creations were both fresh and delicious albeit a bit pricey. I had the opportunity to sample the following beers: - The Good Land, Wheat Beer - Witbier - Helles Lager, German Style Lager - Viaje, Lager - Mexican - Neon Cowboy, Belgian-style table beer with prickly pear and hibiscus - Dolphin.Escapes.Bikes, Juicy IPA w/Kiwi and Watermelon - Absconding, West Coast IPA with Amarillo, Simcoe and Mosaic Hops Every beer that I sampled I would describe as liquid goodness. It was an overall good time with the exception of a poor customer service experience. We visited on a Sunday and there was a young Hispanic male with glasses working behind the counter who was neither friendly nor helpful. I dunno if he was having a bad day or what, but he was blatantly short and rude to three members of our group in separate incidents. Talk about buzzkill!

Yelp
Had a great time. I mean really great. It had been probably 10-12 years since I was there it was awesome then and was awesome again. Brent was walking me through their lineup and the Bruery's philosophy. They have such an array of beers that it can be very overwhelming for first timers. He had an idea for different flight levels and it was really spot on. I've been doing this for years so I'm going for the unique flavors. An advanced place like this could totally benefit from an introductory set of beers for folks to try. That would help many breweries. Chatted with Dave one of their reserve members. Super guy. Very knowledgeable about local brewers. We talked shop for a bit and I got a really good look at the Bruery from a customers perspective. Alright, the beers were epic. Red Steel was probably my favorite. I tried several though and walked away with a few as well. Really thought their beer garden was a cool idea as well. Super time.

Yelp
We've had the Bruery but it's rare and tough to come by in Chicago. We were so excited when we realized it'd be nearby when we were visiting Irvine so we had to make the trek in. Their beers are quite unique. Some of the beers don't work out, that's ok and it happens when you're being innovative. But on average their beers are great and we had some incredible beers while we were out there (and brought some home too!) The venue itself is cool too, they had cornhole, tons of to-go beers, and a great music track going, even though the location could be a bit awkward in the very back of a parking lot behind a parking lot. But the brewery is there, I promise you! Really great service too and they were super helpful when they heard we traveled in from out of state to visit.

Yelp
Love coming to this place! There is always parking, staff is incredible (thank you so much Mitch for saving me with a lint roller!) oh ya the beer is pretty awesome too! And for those of us who don't drink beer they never disappoint with the frozen drinks and seltzers. Cheers and come check it out for yourself, you wont be disappointed!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow some seriously strong beers, if you are a fan of the aged stuff this is the place for you. High ABV abounds here half the beer is over 8%. Personally enjoyed the Ruekeller Helles the best of the bunch but tried 10 of their fare.
google avatar

Ellen C.

Yelp
Awesome place for groups to gather. They've got a fair amount of space indoors with about 15-20 tables/benches, and about 15 tables/benches/high tops outdoors as well, most of them under a tent, and all of them within range of heaters that they can turn on when requested. Everything is true to a brewery, wood benches, sturdy chairs, barrels for decor. You can bring your own food though they do have a food truck featured almost everyday. They've got some great unique beer options available, many of which are high in alcohol content, if you're curious. I think 80% of the menu had ABV %s of above 10%, so buyer beware, those flights can sneak up on you! They also have a small corner with some merch, including tshirts and long sleeve shirts. Plenty of parking, solid place to bring kids to run around as well, their staff are quite patient with the little ones. If you're into 10%+ ABV beer, this is the place for you!

Yelp
Please note: this review is based on the food and our experience. We did not go beer tasting and I did not try any of the beers. We met our family and friends at this location because our friend entered his dog in the Christmas costume contest. I docked a star because, as of now, no one has heard who the winner was. Not only that but on the day we were there it was very unclear how the winner would be chosen. No flyer or poster in the restaurant. We were told by the bartender that you had to vote on Insta but I tried to find it and their page was impossible to locate. We ordered some fries and a grilled cheese sandwich for my daughters. Both were fine, I should know because I eat their leftovers, haha. I also ordered a shrimp taco and it was pretty good. A fine taco. Will we be back here again? Nope! Not cool how they advertised a contest and we showed up and spent money and then they just never mention the winners of the gift cards.

Marilyn M.

Yelp
We enjoyed the variety of beers and the live music. I would return. They could use some games to play.

Yelp
For years I've been going to the Bruery. It all started back in 2014 when my friends discovered strong stouts and stumbled upon a beer called "So Happens It's Tuesday." As such, we had to open it up on a Tuesday! A couple of years later, my friends and I were visiting Anaheim convention center for an event and he mentioned that The Bruery tasting room was located nearby. So we packed up our stuff after the event and got there within 15 mins to enjoy some well deserved beers. Since we hadn't tasted many of their other selections before, we made sure to do a flight. And to our error, we greatly underestimated how heavenly and yet strong these beers were. Each flavor we got ranged from 12-20% ABV! Fast forward to December 2021, we all happened to be in town again and decided to go again to reminisce. The brewery still was set up the same as it had been the in the years before and the beers just as good if not better than we remembered! This time, there were a number of beers from their 12 Days of Christmas Collection so we made sure to try not only the new renditions of So Happens, but also Chocolate Rain, Tart of Darkness, and Bourbon Barrel-Aged 8 Maids-A-Milking. All delicious and unforgettable (and available at affordable prices!). If I lived closer, I'd be extremely tempted to sign up for their Reserve Society membership, but for now, The Bruery will continue to be our go to place to grab some beers and catch up when we're in town.

Danny T.

Yelp
One of my favorite breweries ever, visited the location many times even though I live out of state. One thing has been intriguing me though, could anyone enlighten me as to what the hell happened to the Relax and Retreat production, I used to buy it from Whole Foods and liquor stores and occasionally from Yardhouse and Eureka but for the last couple of years both products have been off both on drafts and in the cans, they are not hazy anymore so sadly I stopped and lost hope, has the recipe been tweaked or is it the settling, been staying too long? I would really want to know if it's a lost cause, I'm looking forward to visit the brewery and see if the one made there fresh is how it used to be or the same with what I find in the store.

Yelp
Love love this place because of their delicious sours!!!! They have such fun and unique flavors, I am always amazed. Great atmosphere, lots of seating available. They usually always have a good truck available. Please don't stop making sours!! Favorite brewery by far!!
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
The Bruery has such unique beers, there's something for everyone here! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and there was live music and a food tent. It wasn't too rowdy, and had a nice, kickback and chat type of vibe. The patio outside has a lot of seating and can definitely accommodate a large group. I totally recommend getting a flight when you come here-- they have so many interesting selections. The beers are tasty but strong, ranging up from 3.5% all the way to 18.1%. If you're not super into hoppy beer/IPAs like me (I'm typically a seltzer type of gal), I would recommend trying their "Meringulada", a sour beer with notes of limes, vanilla, milk sugar, graham cracker, pineapple, and coconut. Seriously one of the best beers I've tried!
google avatar

Irena T.

Yelp
Wide selection on tap, and they have flIghts available too. Plenty of seating available inside and out (shaded). There was also a food truck on site. Not many businesses in the complex so parking wasn't an issue at all.
google avatar

Kevin B.

Yelp
The Bruery makes amazing beers and it's such a blast visiting here when we come to Southern California. We've been to the taproom twice (and the Bruery Terreux, RIP) and we'll definitely come every time we're in the area. Their barrel-aged program is one of the best in the country and it's great if you can catch them on tap in the brewery (they're pretty expensive otherwise). They also make a lot of creative sours and pretty good IPAs so there's definitely something for everyone here. They have flights so it's a great way to try a bunch of their beers (and they have a ton on tap). They also have board games that you can play and it's a great place to visit overall!
google avatar

Frank G.

Yelp
Great place for some REALLY GOOD BEERS! The food trucks vary, but they always have fantastic choices of food. It has a great interior, and exterior seating is awesome, tons of seats, and heated for those cold evenings. I highly recommended it as a place to chill with great beer, food, and friends!
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
Good chill brewery. A little hidden but chill vibes. They have a few games to play at the tables. Beers are good and have something for everyone. Bartenders are nice and helpful.
google avatar

Jacqui C.

Yelp
Excellent brewery in Placentia. My dad and I stopped by here to pick up some of their beer bottles and beer cans to bring back home with us and visit their taproom. It's right off the 57 freeway - very easy access. My parents have been coming to The Bruery during every trip to the Anaheim/Placentia area ever since they opened, but it was my first time there. Though we live in Las Vegas, they order beer from them online all the time. We picked up like four boxes with about 20 different beer bottles and cans inside. After picking up our beer, we swung on by to their taproom. It was around 2:00 in the afternoon on a Wednesday so it wasn't busy, there were only 3 customers in the entire taproom. My dad bought a hoodie and had a taster of the Three's Cocompany coffee stout (his all time favorite beer from The Bruery). I tried the taster myself and it wasn't bad, but at the same time not great. Though it had a wonderful chocolate-like smell, I'm not a huge fan of the dark stout beers. They also have a great tap list with plenty of beers to choose from. Will we be back on our next trip to California? Absolutely!
google avatar

Lexis C.

Yelp
Enjoyed a nice blood orange Radler after attending the Bert Kreischer concert at the Honda center. Service was great and ambiance was very chill. Dog friendly.

Rhonda A.

Yelp
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to offer great recommendations. The spacious tasting room and frequent special events make every visit special. If you're in the area, The Bruery is a great destination!
google avatar

Jennifer P.

Yelp
If you're in OC and want to check out a chil, relaxed vibe brewery with OPTIONS, this place is it. I love coming here on a weekend where there's plenty of parking, beer options, and seating (unless partially reserved for an event, don't usually have problems looking for a seat). Staff is nice and friendly and the place is clean. Beers are reasonably priced and a lot of flights to try. They don't serve food but usually a food truck available in case you get hungry!
google avatar

Ricky R.

Yelp
I have been a fan of their beer for a while. And last time we made a trip to California this was on the list, but we missed it. This time it was a must. We grabbed a flight of heavy barrel aged stouts. They were all delicious. Everything was nice and well balanced and not overly sweet. This is a dope spot for sure. The beertender was super cool too recognizing my bobs burger shirt!! Definitely worth a visit especially during the heavy beer season or sours.
google avatar

Thomas H.

Yelp
One of the best breweries I have been to in terms of selection, ambiance, and service. There are over 40+ options of beers to choose from, lots of outdoor seating along with some outdoor games, and the staff were very helpful and quick to clear our empty glasses all throughout the night. Overall, really glad we decided to come here as a raiding party of 15+ to celebrate our friend's birthday. I look forward to raiding this place again and drinking till I can't drink no more. 11/10 would recommend this place to beer connoisseurs.
google avatar

Thuong T.

Yelp
This spot is definitely a hidden gem! Nestled away in a corner of some industrial/commercial buildings, you wouldn't be able to see it just by driving by, you would have to be searching for it. They have different food trucks that come by here! You can order from the truck and either dine inside or outside. They have a huge extensive beer list with so many new varieties that I've never even heard of! Not to mention that the bartender is super friendly and informative, and can answer any questions you might have! My first time here, I ordered a whole flight! They have so many unique beers, it was very fun and refreshing! I'd definitely come here again!
google avatar

Curtis B.

Yelp
I walked in and sat at the bar with my husband. We waited for over 15 minutes with no sign of anyone to help. They had no sign to order at the front or anything either. Typically with 3 people working behind the bar, you at least get acknowledged. But nothing. And the establishment was not busy either. If you're only going to help customers at a cash register, have a sign that says "order here" and take out your bar because apparently it's useless. I won't say it felt like "that word", but it felt very that... So we just walked out.
google avatar

Yelp
Just getting straight to the point by stating if you're unsure whether you want to come here or their other location (Bruery Terreux Tasting Room), just go to the Bruery Terreux Tasting Room. From what I hear this is the original location & it does look like an older setup than Bruery Terreux Tasting Room. Not rundown, just not really so modern or "new". Interior is nicely open spaced with a moderate amount of tables in the middle & "bar" seating along the perimeter. There's much more outside seating which was all taken when I showed up on a busy Friday night. I was only able to grab a few seats on the side area inside. I did hear that precovid, there was much less outside seating, nowhere near what there is now. It's all self seating, so someone in your group should grab some open seats so others can line up to order the beer. They have paper slips with the menu on them & you can check off what you want it you are ordering a flight (up to 5 beers). Service was friendly enough with no problems for a busy Friday night. Parking is easy since they have their own lot which is a good size for the size of the brewery. It's nowhere as large as Brewery X or Golden Road. As for the beer, I was a fan when I first visited The Bruery Terreux Tasting Room location & I still am. The sours they have are some of the better ones I've had, & they have some interestingly flavored stouts which are worth a try. I think you'll be able to at least find a few things you like based on what style of beer you prefer. They do NOT have the frozen sour beers like the Bruery Terreux Tasting Room which is a big draw over there. When I'm in the area & I'm in the mood for some good beers I'm very much open to making my way back to Bruery Terreux Tasting Room & would most likely skip this location.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night to grab a drink after dinner. This brewery is tucked away in an industrial parking lot, but is lit up nicely at night. I got here pretty late, so there was plenty of seats and tables open. I got the Relax hazy IPA. Super smooth and super hoppy. Just as it should be! The staff was nice and helped with any questions I had.
google avatar

Kimberly A.

Yelp
Solid spot with a ton of their own brewed options and other beers they had on tap. Love the flight offerings and my husband likes sours and they had sooooo many choices! I leave towards Hazy IPAs and they have a few of those too. Also have lots of games to play and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
What a great spot for great brews. My only complaint would be how many sours are on tap compared to the old Anaheim spot. The Anaheim location was all sours all the time! I can't remember how many were on tap but there were many options. Last night we showed up here to the tasting room and there were only four options for sours. Now I know the Placentia location is known for having a heathy mix and that's great! But man I was missing the the wide choice of sours and off shoots. If you like unique fruity ales, Belgians, lagers and sours you'll love this spot. If you're here for sours you may be disappointed with the tap menu especially bc the Bruery is known for epic sours.

Yelp
UPDATE: CEO reached out to me and explained what was going on with the members only club stouts and provided some insight into the business. I really appreciate the response and willingness to listen to feedback. They even moved some stouts from the members only club to make them open to the public today. I really, really appreciate their care for their customers who have been coming for years and based on the responses from Barry, we'll continue being lifelong customers. Thanks, Barry! You made my SO and I (and I'm sure many others) happy to enjoy some delicious stouts. If we could afford the memberships right now we would get them, hopefully sometime soon.

Yelp
The Bruery is a nice little gem. We came on a weekday so it was basically our private space indoors and outdoors. It is dog friendly and the staff even gave treats to our pups. They have a wide variety of beers on tap and they had a food truck that I think has a rotation of different trucks per day. All in all the beer is good and it's located in some random office space with this huge outdoor tent that is decorated on top of the parking lot. It's essentially loitering with beers on tap. But this place has a cool vibe and I'll definitely be back to try out more beers and new food trucks.

Yelp
Wow! I've not seen a listing of beers like this at a brewery before. Bourbon barrel aged selections have ABV range from 15 to 20%. I chicken's out and settled for a blonde ale that was really good. A definite location to stop in and Check out if you're near the Anaheim area.

Yelp
Love this place. Great selection. Fast service as well as the ambiance. Only knock I would say is no pretzel bag available this evening and selected food selection. Other than that, I'll be back

Yelp
I have been coming here over 6 years. I have slowly learned all the people working and such in that time. My dog recently passed away and multiple people asked where is your dog? Sure you come to a brewery to drink and have fun. Sometimes that brewery learns you and your pets. Bruery did that and I appreciate everyone there. Lexi Dog also misses all of you too. You all made her time and mine the best ever. Thank you Brett and Patch. Both of you make me always come back.

Yelp
Ehhhh. Beer was pretty good. Don't love the tasting room ambiance kind of reminds me of a outdated vibe for all the space they have there. Just didn't feel homey. I'm sure many will like the place but I just wouldn't go back with all the other breweries so close. Not good not bad just eh.

Yelp
IT PAINS ME TO WRITE THIS REVIEW. I do it in hopes that someone -- anyone -- in management actually reads it and makes changes. I know that the last two years have been difficult. Every Monday, a group of friends who have all known each other since the early 2000s, come together to have beers. For many years, our regular spot has been The Bruery. Recently, we've noticed an alarming pattern -- one that has happened more than a few times. And tonight, it happened in a tasting room full of patrons -- someone made the decision to close an hour early. I get that sometimes it's super slow and maybe it doesn't make sense to stay open later -- but just change your hours. Advertising that you are open until 10PM and then deciding -- in a tasting room full of people -- to do last call at 8:30PM and shooing people out the door at 9PM with half-consumed beers is just shitty. You're too good for this and your customers deserve better. I don't say this because I'm hoping to get anyone back or in trouble -- but because I hope someone in management reads it and makes changes. If you won't want to actually stay open to your hours -- fine -- I respect your decision. But don't tell people you're open to a certain time and then decide, capriciously, to close to early.

Yelp
We came in the last day of new stay- at-home order, the outdoor area setup was so cozy and relaxing. They had an extensive brew menu and a ramen food truck on site. We did 3 rounds of tasters, they didn't have many hops but a lot of barrel aged stouts though. Hubby ordered the strongest stouts every time and he enjoyed them very much. We had tofu and beef shake ramen in spicy miso, also tofu mini rice bowl. The food was not bad at all. The servers were very friendly and attentive the entire time. I really liked our experience at this brewery and we will come back after the lockdown.

Yelp
Awww yeah I'm review # 1000. I have been coming here for many, many years....maybe since 2015??? I used to hate the smell of this place because I wasn't into beer, but my friends got me into craft beer and the more I tagged along the more i got used to the smell lol. The first beer I fell in love with was Grey Monday HAHAA. what a beer to get into! I loved it so much I bought a grey Monday t-shirt. Once I got into beer, I kept coming back. I started off with loving sours, stouts, then got into IPAs last. My fav thing at the Bruery is most def the sour beers. Oooof! So good. Favs: Tart of darkness cherries & vanilla Sans pagaie Sour in the rye pineapple coconut Oude tart huckleberry We loved the Bruery sooo much we joined the reserve society & started going to the Bruery festivals! Ive been to many well know breweries, but this place and Terreux are still my #1. Everyone here is always so friendly and welcoming. Shout out to OG Ryan! Damian who is behind the scene, and new friend Jeff from 1/29/21. seriously, so nice! I've met random people here who became friends! I've also introduced a couple people to this place & prior to covid it was our frequent meet up spot. Can't go wrong with this place, they have all kinds of beers but the dark sours are a must and my fav. Price is reasonable and lots of parking! Covid friendly, they wear masks and tables are far apart.
