Where To Eat Outside In The West Village

"Butcher’s Daughter is open from 8am-9pm most days, which means you can stop by for an acai bowl at breakfast then swing back over for a burger and a matcha gimlet later in the evening. The food is all vaguely healthy, and the all-white decor is arguably "too cute." - matt tervooren, neha talreja

Google
Really great experience! Menu was on-point, and everything was so fresh and delicious. Particularly enjoyed their mocktail, very refreshing, and not too sweet. Was surprised to see that you can make the avocado toast into a Benedict, and they had real eggs (although that was an add-on), but otherwise the menu was completely vegan. Absolutely loved the pea hummus and the roasted mushrooms & asparagus. Great vibe, friendly staff, great location.

Google
In the busy west village with most other well known places booked out, stumbled upon this cute little restaurant serving primarily a plant based menu. And wow what a great surprise - beautiful aesthetics, simple classy and healthy menu. Fresh juice and detox drinks were a hit in our group. Their pea hummus is a must try. All the dishes were really good except the waffles. The cream and the strawberry compote just didn’t go along well. Butchers bowl, best egg sandwich, and crab cake sandwich were well enjoyed by the group. I would highly recommend.

Google
Really enjoyed The Butcher's daughter. The food was pretty good. Wasn't a fan of the bacon strips. Would never get those again. They literally look like fruit leather but tasted very bland. The waffle was a little chewy but I guess that's fine. Was not amazed by the scone. It was very dry and did not taste like anything. Was very disappointed as it was to have herbs and spinach in it if I remember correctly but tasted nothing like it's contents. The salad that came on the side of one of the dishes was overly sour. Service was lacking as we were barely looked at upon arrival and kinda dismissed to an open table. The seating was nice out on the sidewalk. The seats are very close together so close that you can bump into other people if you are paying attention. Besides that the atmosphere was very nice and calm. Having a seat with a view of the inside of the restaurant was pleasing as the inside has many plants and the vibe is very calm inside.

Google
Great brunch spot. Love the cozy yet bright ambiance. They have a wide selection of brunch menus, mostly vegan and vegetarian but they also have some good egg options. They also have a large drink menu (coffee, teas, and alcohol). I love their smoothies. The service is efficient and friendly. Definitely worth the hype.

Google
Nice little vegetarian cafe with a decent happy hour, 4-6pm. We had the fried oyster mushrooms with aoli, burtata salad (okay) and an amazing cardamon chai with a grating of nutmeg on top. They have lovely outdoor seating and the decor is homey and comfortable.

Google
I came here because of the good reviews but I left disappointed. I’ve been plant based for a very long time and I ordered the Mykonos menu as it was suggested to be somewhat big and fulfilling. Unfortunately it wasn’t the case, it was quite small, organic eggs the size of olives, and kind of pricey, plus it had 0 flavour. I had to ask for salt and pepper because it wasn’t well seasoned. Good side of it was the waitress, she was nice. The building does not look great because it’s small inside and it’s under reconstruction outside that makes it a bit disappointing too.

Google
Very nice place with vegetarian options and good vibes. They could add a couple more egg-based options and sides to the menu in my opinion, but overall a good and fairly diverse selection. Happy that they open at 8 am too for early risers.

Google
We really enjoyed the food, particularly the kale salad and the mushroom and asparagus appetizer. The pad Thai was good but found it to come with too little tofu and seasoning was nothing special, maybe leave that for a Thai place. The food came quite fast and the waiter was very kind

Yelp
Cute vegetarian restaurant in West Village! Came here for happy hour and got the mushroom calamari, green goddess hummus and the butchers burger. The food was yummy! Would recommend the calamari and definitely the hummus. Super flavorful and fresh! The burger had a patty of beet and kelp, and I think texturally it was just a bit too soggy for me. Would come here for a nice veggie meal, but non-happy hour prices are definitely a bit higher, not sure if I would come outside of HH.

Yelp
4.5/5 Butcher's daughter is a cute brunch spot that has a healthy amount of options for your typical brunch fix. The fresh juice options all seemed great and I went with the watermelon and it was great. Our server was quick and polite and attentive and the food came out quick. The mushrooms were a weak point for the meal as they were mostly batter but my burrito was splendid - great ratio of ingredients and the side sauce it was with was unique. Would recommend!

Yelp
One of the most amazing vegetarian restaurants I have been to in NYC. The taste of the lentil caviar was simply addictive and delicious. The happy hour cocktails were amazing. The service was a bit slow in the beginning but it picked up pretty fast after we ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant in west village!

Yelp
Dang Good Happy Hour for the girlies The curb appeal made me walk right inside. It was 5ish, I was looking for a nice Happy Hour spot and this place had such a nice aesthetic. It's light, airy, bohemian and sultry. The hostess was delightful and happy hour made all cocktails $10. I got the "Birds of a Feather" cocktail made with MEZCAL, DISTILLERIA MONTANARO 6PM APERITIVO, LUXARDO, LIME. It was complex, fruity and smoky. I will surely come again to try their food.

Yelp
Food 6/10 The brunch menu was a little bland not going to lie, but there were some that stood out more than others. The loaded banana bread was slightly dry, which was unfortunate because I'm a big fan of banana bread. We also got the artichoke heart quesadilla, butcher's pancakes, and Monterey eggs. Nothing wowed me, so I don't think I will be returning. Atmosphere 9/10 Beautiful space and vibes. Go for the people-watching and the location, don't have high expectations for the food. Service 6/10 Slow.

Yelp
Breakfast/brunch can be difficult for us gluten free/dairy free/egg free diners. I was psyched to see this menu. Made reservations and chose a table outside because inside felt a little warm/stuffy. Our server was efficient and helpful. We started with Bloody Marias but it was a little too chunky/thick for my taste. Loved everything else though - - herb and cheddar scone, poppyseed waffles, chorizo impossible sausage, iced walnut cacao latte. Bathroom back by the kitchen.

Yelp
One of my favorite vegetarian spots! Have been there multiple times. Breakfast is the best imo. Love the fresh juices.

Yelp
Cute spot with delicious vegan food and a good happy hour. A friend and I came by for dinner and drinks. The carbonara was fabulous as well as the hummus and focaccia plate. Service was a bit on the slower side but it was a nice day out on the patio so we didn't mind much. Excited to come by for brunch!

Yelp
I was there this afternoon with a friend, and we had the perfect table, neither indoors nor outdoors, but on the cusp. The descriptions on the menu made our mouths water. But sadly, the butchers daughter did not fulfil its promise. I had the burrito from the all day menu, and yes, it had scrambled eggs, potatoes and avocado but nothing was magical. My friend had the Ancient Grain Bowl. We think the bowl has changed. The service was very good. But the food? Overall, competent, but decidedly uninspired.

Yelp
Solid brunch, friendly service, open early. We'll be back. The green chaquilles were yum.

Yelp
I came here with my family for a weekend brunch. Tucked in the heart of the West Village, this vegetarian place suits quite well with the vibes of the neighborhood. Sometimes, it's not about how great the food is, but whether the vibes are right. As is typical with city brunch spots, this place is PACKED on weekends. You'll need a reservation. We got a reservation that we couldn't even push back. Seating is very tight inside, so good luck bringing more than 4 people here. There is some seating outside, though I have no idea how long that'll stay up in the future. Because it's busy, service can take a little longer than usual. Ours wasn't that bad. My sister & I ordered juices while my parents ordered Chai & coffee. I ordered the seasonal Antlers Aglow as it was a seasonal drink. It was something I wouldn't normally order, but it was solid. The ginger can be much for some taste buds, but it didn't bother me. We ordered the following main course items to share: 1) French Toast Casserole: This was quite good. My dad enjoyed it as it was nice and sweet. It was a large portion too, so we didn't even get to finish it. 5/5 2) Surfer's Breakfast Bowl: It's a solid bowl. Not very heavy. I think the chorizo crumble can feel a bit too dry, especially if you're not used to that type of taste (I definitely am not!). I wonder if it could use a spicy item in there to make it a bit more savory. Maybe, maybe not? We weren't able to finish this in full. 4/5 3) The Best Egg Sandwich: This was pretty good. I'm not the biggest croissant fan, but can see people loving this. The difference to me is the harissa aioli. We ended up finishing this. 5/5 4) Butcher's Burger: This was probably our favorite. Nice and filling burger with the perfect condiments. I think the sweet potato wedges are a good idea in theory, but should have been a bit crispier. It was quite soft. Additionally, cutting the wedges in half would make it a bit easier to eat. 4.5/5 Overall, it's not a bad place if you're not too picky about the taste of certain items.

Yelp
I gotta get it off my chest. Off my desk. I gotta talk my talk, and mayyyybe this will go viral. I just need my love for the Butcher's Daughter to spiral. It is such a cute little shop where one can just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a nice meal. Their seasonal lavender latte should be the drink to enjoy while listening to some T. Swift. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
I had heard so much about this place and I'm so glad I went! It's a really cute spot with really delicious food! Everything we ate was absolutely amazing. I do wish that the portions were slightly bigger for the price. But overall a fun experience.

Yelp
This was a great vegetarian place for dinner before the theater and I highly recommend it. I had no idea what we were doing there because no one was looking for vegetarian dinner and yet it was so great, we'd all go back without considering that at all. The pea hummus and the warm olives and the roasted cauliflower were all savory and fine. I had a salad and the delicious, rich cauliflower soup, and my friends had pretty much everything else. Highlights were the watermelon radish garnishes, the toothsome bread, and the pressed juices with or without a wine spritz. Highly recommend the Red. Also the service was really great - accommodating and flexible and friendly and fast. Thank you, we had a great time!

Yelp
have been here in LA and the vibe is similar but it's smaller and more cozy in the West Village location. Happy Hour deals are solid - $10 mixed drinks with some apps on sale too. Got the "disillusioned" cocktail which tasted good but was very light on alcohol (couldn't even tell it was alcoholic - which is a bummer because usually one 6% drink gets me pretty buzzed.) And then I got the mushroom and zucchini carbonara - vegan and gluten free if you omit the breadcrumbs! It was sooooo good. Rich. Really enjoyed. And pretty filling. Servers were nice, and food came out pretty quick. It's not the cheapest but it's very reasonable for a trendy, high quality meal in NYC. Def come if you have vegan or vegetarian friends!

Yelp
Had a team outing after work and this was not too far from the office. We did the prix fixe menu for $45pp, the portions were a good sizable filling (not too filling) amount. You get to pick an appetizer, entree and dessert (cheese plate was not an option for the prix fixe). The wine came in tiny glasses, I thought it was a small amount for the cost of a glass. For the area, it's a cute tiny quaint restaurant where you can hear everyone when someone is speaking vs having to yell as most places in the city are loud and noisy after work.

Yelp
The mushroom zucchini carbonara was really good, high recommend. I went on a Wed evening. No need to make reservations. Gem salad and burrata were also great!

Yelp
Food was delicious, also cardamon rose latte was great. But the service was not. The inside seats were bit comfortable

Yelp
I finally tried The Butcher's Daughter!! How have I worked in/near the city for so long and never paid a visit to this restaurant I've heard so much about? I actually did not realize that it was plant based (the name is deceiving but cute). I met a friend here for breakfast/brunch and wanted something on the lighter side so I opted for the avocado toast -loved it! So simple but fresh Ingredients made for a tasty snack. It was a little expensive for the portion size but hey, it's nyc, baby. My friend got the egg sandwich and also really loved hers. Definitely go for the sandwich if you want something with more substance. For drinks, I tried their coffee and my friend got one of their smoothies. She was not a fan of the smoothie but I actually really liked it. I can't remember the name, but it was white and tasted a little like a protein shake. They have seating indoor and outdoor and also have the parklets set up sirloin. Loved being able to enjoy the great weather in the parklet while still having a break from the cold. I'd for sure come back.

Yelp
Went to The Butcher's Daughter in West Village a few weeks ago with friends for breakfast and had their avocado eggs benedict and drip coffee. Reservations are highly recommended as it's a popular spot so make sure to book on their website. The food was good but was at a slightly higher price point for the portion sizes. Overall, a cute and trendy brunch destination in West Village!

Yelp
Great environment. Felt clean and homey. And glad I can find a place where my vegan partner could enjoy but it was very underwhelming. They were very understaffed and it took forever to get any attention. Paying and leaving was additional 20 min wait. They did have a nice weekend happy hour. I will not write them off, ill come back to give the food a try.

Navva M.

Yelp
Fortifying vegan brunch at the West Village location that offers a full menu of strong cocktails plus espresso, in a relaxed atmosphere--not an easy thing to find! The staff and clientele were kind and smiley, and the food delicious.

Yelp
What a fantastic place to start your weekend off! Recently, a friend and I were in town and tried The Butcher's Daughter for breakfast; we had a 9AM reservation and are glad we made it! This restaurant was tiny and with the down-pouring NYC got last weekend, we are glad we were offered a table inside. (Also, the inside is incredibly cute looking!) Because we can never decide, we choose to share a few items: roasted rainbow carrots, loaded banana bread, and the butcher's bowl. The carrots were simple and delicious. The loaded banana bread was a bit dense - but delicious and the brulee'd banana? I wanted so much more of that! And the butcher's bowl was honestly the perfect, light and healthy way to start the day. We opted to add avocado and, since my friend is vegan, I got the poached egg on the side to mix into my helping. We also both opted for the walnut lattes and added espresso (thought that was a bit strange that the latte didn't just come with it, but whatever)! Either way, service was good, drinks were delicious, and food was top notch! Just be sure to make reservations because, as I mentioned, indoor seating is limited - but they also have outdoor seating on the sidewalk and in the street.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch at the Hudson Street location after visiting the Whitney Museum. I had their version of a BLT called the B.L.A.T. It was made with rice bacon, arugula, avocado, and heirloom tomatoes on a good sourdough bread. Quite the sandwich! A VLIET Pilsner was a nice addition to a leisurely meal...

Yelp
We first heard about this place from some good friends a few months ago, and we were so excited to finally visit during our trip from California. We arrived at the restaurant early in the morning and were thrilled to be their first customers of the day. The food was absolutely delicious and of exceptional quality. The entire staff was amazing and provided excellent service. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Definitely will come back on the next trip

Yelp
Stumbled upon this cute spot in west village the other day. They were able to seat us for breakfast inside right away. We had the Country Breakfast, Surfers Burrito, and Buckwheat pancakes. The county breakfast was okay but the potatoes were dry, surfers burrito had a good flavor, the buckwheat pancakes was the best dish out of the three. Will likely return for those pancakes and to try one of their fresh juices!

Yelp
I am looking for a place to eat breakfast at the butchers daughter came up when doing an online search. However I was super disappointed with the lack of vegan options and the slow service. I decided to sit outside they have a nice outdoor seating area. There's a QR code that takes you to the website with all the menus I figured since it was a Monday holiday it would be a weekday menu so when the server came over to order I told them what I want. They said oh actually we're on the brunch menu even though they had already taken my coffee order and had plenty of time to inform me of this. They didn't come back for like 15 minutes and I kept trying to flag them down so I could place my order since I was hungry and also had things to do afterwards. I decided to order the Country Breakfast with Adzuki Bean Bacon - Side. I did not want the impossible sausage that came with it I knew I wouldn't eat it so I paid for a side of the bean bacon. The tofu was not seasoned well and was very boring. The toast also did not come with vegan butter even though they have vegan butter on the menu. I thought about asking a server for some but they never came over and I didn't wanna eat my food cold. if I had not ordered the Adzuki Bean Bacon my dish would've been completely tasteless and boring. This vegan bacon saved my breakfast for sure. I just can't believe how boring and unflavored the tofu and potatoes were. Super disappointing. They really should have more vegan options and make them taste better. I also got an iced coffee and was not impressed. I don't think I would come back here unless someone else wanted to go. I will be dreaming of the bean bacon but I won't be missing anything else. Since they are in all vegetarian restaurant maybe their other items are better but I was super disappointed in this vegan option for breakfast.

Yelp
On our visit to NYC, we went to run a few errands & popped into the Butchers Daughter. It was very nice inside & had a boho feel. It felt more like I was in Downtown LA than NYC. We ordered a vegan BLT sandwich, a potato dish & some drinks. My hubby & I enjoyed the potato dish a lot. And he really liked the coffee. It is a bit pricey. I do remember paying over $40 for our visit. Although it was delicious, I don't know that I'd come again. I can find plenty of locations that can provide plant-based faire for much cheaper, but if you want ambiance & cool vibes, this is the place. It's a great place to sit & people watch on the patio & take a few pics.
google avatar

Matthew H.

Yelp
My most succinct way of describing this place is as a trendy vegetarian diner. We were seated outside, due to a long waitlist for indoor seating. While it was petty cold it was better than nothing. The service was not super attentive but once we got the server's attention everything came out relatively quickly. While the restaurant is vegetarian, there are plenty of dishes that can be made vegan, they also accommodate a gluten-free diet as well. Butcher's Daughter is kind of a staple of the vegetarian dining scene in New York so it's worth checking out if you haven't been before.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute aesthetic and restaurant. Service was great and good place for casual lunch to sit in or outside. Food was great- the bowl was definitely on the lighter side which was perfect when I went but if you want more food might need a side m. Overall nice experience

Yelp
Nice vegan restaurant with menu. Cute restaurant with indoor and outside seating. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Really LOVED the Pasta orecchiette, even with the gluten free pasta. Portions are on the smaller side , I have to say. Restaurant is vegan and can have gluten free options. Would def return.

Yelp
Visited The Butcher's Daughter for the first time recently. It was recommended to me because I like Citizens of Gramercy. My wife also heard good things so we gave it a shot. Disclaimer - I don't usually eat vegetarian food. Also, I like my beer in mugs and my burgers cooked well. When we arrived, we were seated in the outdoor hut (by the bike lane). I ordered the Sunday Lager and Butcher's Burger with an avocado. The lager was presented in a metal cup, which was a new experience for me. I'm pretty sure my cup was half beer half foam. The burger came out and it was fine - the burger was just fine, but I didn't enjoy the sweet potato wedges at all. I don't mind if they are sweet potato, I just wish they were fried. Overall 3/5 Yelp stars. I won't be back.
google avatar

Le M.

Yelp
Got the burger-- favorite no meat burger I've ever had. another table of people ended up leaving because they weren't served fast enough... not an issue we had but something to keep in mind i guess. service was friendly and food came fast. tight place but had enough space for a private enough experience, good place and good food. planning to come back.
google avatar

Dalilah I.

Yelp
Smashed avocado toast with egg is my recommendation. Anything special? Nah. Not really. The worker here is humorous. I had a good chat with them. Spent around $50 for 2 ppl. Not expensive in my opinion. My cousin doesn't like the outdoor chairs. It's uncomfortable.

Yelp
Ah such a pretty spot! Really really like the vibe of this spot. My friend and I came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning, no lines at all yet. I got the Carrot Lox Bagel Stick, and it was pretty good although I had high expectations because I was expecting the carrot to taste like lox lolll. Hashtag unrealistic expectations haha.
google avatar

John T.

Yelp
If a restaurant experience ever deserved a 1 star review, this was it. The service was memorably bad. I'll start at the beginning, in this case a very bad place to start. Unfortunately it got worse with time. On arrival there was a lectern where you normally are greeted and seated. There was a 20 something guy with a screen a few yards away who conspicuously ignored us...until I walked toward him. He looked up and asked "You guys want something". With attitude. We asked for a table and the wanna be bouncer deigned to gave us a table. After an interminable wait watching other tables who arrived after us get water and menu's, we finally received ours, ordering coffee. After another interminable wait we received coffee with the line "I just brewed you a fresh cup". Plausible, but the coffee was lukewarm. At this point my partner suggested a second time we get up and leave. I did not listen. At some point we finally were able to order. Another interminable wait ensued, where we watched multiple tables who arrived after us receive food. One actually completed their meal before we received our breakfast. Which was served cold. At this point we just wanted to get out of there so we scarfed down the food, paid, tipped appropriately, and left. Quickly putting the bad experience behind us and enjoying our day. I will say that on our previous visit to the city several years ago we had an thoroughly good experience at this Butchers Daughter. A shame.

Yelp
Butcher's Daughter has immediately risen up to the top of my list for favorite brunch spots in NYC. Some of the best dishes I've had over brunch in a while, and the most fun mimosa flights where they use their housemade juices (that way you know you're getting some veggies & fruit in while you eat that banana bread on the side lol ). Their ~thing~ is that they're a plant based restaurant and juice bar, but even though I eat meat I would eat here over and over again and never wish I had meat with any of their dishes. The banana bread is truly FIRE. Like, I have never had anything so incredible in my life. My LIFE. The brûlée'd banana and the espresso mascarpone... unbelievable. We also got the sunrise breakfast (solid, a pretty light dish) and the best egg sandwich, which absolutely fulfilled its' title of the best egg sandwich. The kale was marinated and massaged really well so it wasn't hard or dry, and the harissa aioli was an amazing addition. They have lots of drink options (at least 2 pages), but the mimosa flights were a winner. I felt like I was at a brewery, but 10x better. I loved the Goddess of Green juice mimosa (it definitely tastes like a green juice), and the Honeybee juice mimosa, but it was really fun to try all 8 between 2 flights. The tables are distanced really well and the vibe is cute, airy, and lively, being where it is in the West Village. Waiters/hostesses/etc all wear masks, and you pay via a QR code. Cannot recommend enough.

Yelp
This place is amazing ! Love their selection of vegan options! Had breakfast here the food was a little cold but it was very busy Sunday so it's understandable. When in the area definitely will be returning !

Yelp
Super cute brunch spot with good vibes! Everything is plant based. The açaí bowl is amazing! I highly recommend ordering it!

Yelp
Stale biscuit. Cold tater tots. Over-seasoned kale that was inedible. Vile impossible patty. Eleven dollar orange juice from a bottle.

Yelp
Fantastic hole in the wall breakfast and juice place with amazing ambiance. Açaí bowl was the best we've had in a long time, the cinnamon chai tea was unique and Fall, the loaded banana bread wasn't quite sweet enough but the cooked banana on top was special.

Yelp
Delicious vegan food and other options. Excellent service and a cool vibe! So happy

Yelp
Super disappointing, like seriously they need to do a whole lot better. The service was slow as hell. When you sit outside & get forgotten about that you have to go inside to get the server's attention, is not ok. The food was also abysmal, I couldn't believe the amount of money I spent for pancakes; they were thin, small, & burnt. Totally not worth it. Since I never saw my server trying to get this remedied would've taken too long, so I didn't bother. It was annoying to have to deal w/ poor service & lousy food. Don't bother wasting your time & money. Never again.

Adriana S.

Yelp
As a regular patron of the business for YEARS, I was rather disappointed at the manner of service I experienced TODAY. Space was limited in doors, however, a seat was available at the bar. I was offered to place my winter coat and bags in the corner next to the utensil area, which was fine. However, an employee with tattoos on his arm, seemed annoyed that my items were there and kicked my bags, which was heard from where I was seated (to highlight, there is much chatter and music). I had expensive items in my bag (Home Pods) along with other items from cleaning my office earlier in the day. What made it more ridiculous was that other coworkers thought this was funny. It's not. It's disrespectful and it shows lack of care and maturity towards your patrons. Again, I often place orders for delivery or stop by to enjoy meals at this location or in SoHo every so often. This experience was hurtful. I did tip 25%, however, that was for the cooks, not for the servers / team members on the floor. Learn how to treat others with respect, as I always come respectful to any establishment. As a business owner myself, he does not belong there if he is willing to represent himself and the business in a poor manner. 0 stars.

Yelp
This restaurant, in both the Soho and West Village location have the rudest and most terrible staff imaginable. Epitome of why it's useless to go out to eat these days. POV -- I used to be both a bartender and a server, I didn't particular love either job, but it doesn't cost anything to be polite and smile and be friendly. Customers are rude? Yes! But you don't have to be! My waitress literally rolled her eyes when I asked her a question about the menu. ROLLED HER EYES. Like is that not your job, mam???? Actually I'm the sucker who always goes in expecting that the staff will give a S#!T. I think maybe I'm more mad at myself than these silly people! LOL Also the food is not extraordinary or special. Just good enough. I wish I could give negative stars. No more of my hard earned money is going to go to this place. Enough is enough. PS - there was an Asian waiter who wasn't my server, but he actually wasn't rude, I think he missed the orientation with all his coworkers...everyone from the front of house to back.

Yelp
I was not impressed with this place for brunch. Entrees we're expensive and didn't come with much. The breakfast sandwich should have come with some form of breakfast potato and was severely underseasoned. The breakfast bowl was good, but also underseasoned. Their mimosa flights are cute, but I'd rather they have fewer and better flavors. Overall, the prices here are ridiculous for what you get. The last annoying thing here was the service and ambience. I was in a group of 6 that got seated in their patio "tent-like" seating. It was wayyyy too small of a space for 6 people and we were 6 tiny people. It was also incredibly hot. Like a greenhouse. Service was slow in that no one approached our table for a while and they did not visit nearly often enough. Especially since the table got crowded quickly due to 6 people's worth of drinks and food. I will not be back.

Yelp
First time at The Butchers Daughter! I was so pleased to see so many fun vegan options! We got the loaded banana bread, ricotta toast, glazed carrots, mushroom and asparagus, and BLT. Everything was super delicious and not too rich. My favorite was the whipped ricotta in the mushroom and asparagus dish. The loaded banana bread was a close second, so moist and yummy. The service was great and the ambiance inside is very cozy. I love that it opens up to the outdoor section with a nice flow. Will be back here!

Yelp
Went to this brunch spot with my friends. We had butchers bowl, spicy kale salad, jumbo crab cake. The drinks we ordered are pretty simple, just hot matcha and chai. Everything is good, we all love our food and drinks. And also, the service is great! Would love to try other menu and other location from this spot!
