"The ‘burbs are far from solely box restaurants. Case in point: This Coral Springs outpost has been a neighborhood go-to for creative dishes and wine (and more wine) since 2014. The allure begins with its house-made potato chips with bacon and onion dip and carries well through those pear juice-braised spareribs." - Jesse Scott

"Coral Springs isn’t particularly the heartbeat of the culinary world, but don’t tell that to Keith Blauschild and Dena Lowell who, after running a successful catering business decided, upon their clients request, to also open a restaurant. The stylish spot is packed on any given day and is definitely worth the drive. The Cook and The Cork will be offering a Crave GFL menu on Wednesday and Thursdays with dishes like ginger barbecue pork tenderloin with wasabi mashed potatoes, grilled black Angus bavette, and grilled salmon with an ancho cilantro crust." - Alona Martinez

Favorite local restaurant!! The flavors, the vibe, the cocktails! Perfect balance between neighborhood charm and culinary creativity. Soft tempura shrimp, Tamari-honey glazed short rib and Korean fried chicken!!! And a crazy good bread pudding with vanilla ice cream!! Best restaurant of the area by far!! ⚡️

Google
I really like The Cook and The Cork. Their food is always delicious and the service is attractive. They have a cute outdoor seating area as well. I do wish they would change or add some of their regular menu items. It seems the standard items have been on their menu for a while. I do highly recommend the restaurant.

I love this place. Definitely a neighborhood gem. They created a beautiful outdoor space. The Korean ribs were tender and tasty. The pork chops were well cooked and seasoned. Our server Chris was excellent. Gets busy, so recommend a reservation.

Know those places where EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious? This is one of them! I’ve had Korean Fried Chicken before but this was on a whole other level. The boneless beef short ribs were soooo succulent. My mouth is watering just remembering them! I was there on a Saturday and it was pretty difficult to get seated without a reservation. Luckily we had one so we didn’t wait longer than five minutes. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the place out back is really cute. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice spot for date night.

Google
First time dining at this establishment. We visited during the happy hour, which has several food items and drink specials. I think this represents the best value, and allows for sampling various items without a commitment to full entrees. The house bubbly was excellent quality, and the house Cabernet wad dry and powerful, they represented a good value. The sticky chicken was tasty, I suggest asking for an extra side of the Thai spice dressing, made a good dish even better. Slider was okay, not really a standout. The house made potato chips and onion dip was addictive. Service was good.

Enjoyed a fabulous wine tasting course menu prepared by Chef Keith and hosted by Dena. Tonight was also a special fundraising dinner. All proceeds are for the students of the wonderful Culinary Institute of America. Thank you, Keith & Dena, for your generous contribution.

Google
In a word: Exceptional. Certainly an exceptionally rare find, worth every penny. Francisco warmly greeted and seated us promptly, and introduced us to Jordan who assured every element of our experience left nothing to chance. Each item was artistically presented and delightfully tasteful. An excellent wine and liquor collection, cozy ambiance and their own free private parking area only added to the experience. Reservations are recommended—especially in season, but not absolutely required. This spot should be on everyone’s must-visit restaurants list for South Florida. One last thing… As eclectically odd as this may seem: you need to check out the restrooms, LOL—even there, one finds a surprising amount of creativity in design— you’ll see what I mean. Do visit this wonderful restaurant.

This is an amazing restaurant! The food was so high end and delicious 😋! Everything we ate was very well done. I loved the snapper and the lamb. The appetizer were amazing too. I highly recommend it 👌 👍

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant experience. The staff was all very nice. Our waiter joked with us and knew his menu when we asked a ton of questions. The food was delicious. We started with apps and shared three different main dishes, all of them being very good. This will be added to our favorites list.

Yelp
A very nice place with great food. Parking is a beech. Bathrooms are nice. I loved the food!! We had the bacon wrapped dates with or absolutely mouth-wateringly phenomenal. We had the Crawfish and shrimp cakes, and it came with a chopped fruit slaw. I enjoyed a lamb shank with cheesy grits and edamame succotash. The food here is ridiculously good. My only complaint is the parking, and also when I asked for cold saki, the waiter did not give a suggestion, he said he'd be right back and he came back with a bottle. It was pretty good, but when the bill came, it was literally the most expensive one on the menu. So instead of 10, 12, or $16, it was a $28 bottle of sake. That was a little bit rude. Apart from that it was a great place. Just be careful what you order!

Yelp
First time here for a friend's 80th surprise birthday dinner party. Ten of us. Everything was fabulous! The warm atmosphere, the drinks, the service and the food was awesome!!!! We will definitely come back...thinking about the mothers day brunch and more dinners! Reasonable prices as well.

Yelp
We've been here once. The ambiance and service were great. Very quaint and adorable. The food was just so/so. We were expecting more.

Jeri D.

Yelp
The food is perfect along with attentive service. Small cozy atmosphere. And this restaurant practices sustainability. Way to go Chef.

Yelp
Went to the cooking cork once for drinks and bar bites. Ever since then I wanted to go back for dinner. Finally made my way there for their Oktoberfest menu. We started out with bratwurst, pierogies, and their homemade chips with bacon onion dip. No complaints there, they were all delicious. For entrées we had the Wienerschnitzel, which was part of the Oktoberfest menu. It came with Spoetzl, red, cabbage, sautéed zucchini, and a super busy, rich gravy. The Wienerschnitzel was crispy and light, fried to perfection. We also tried the ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly. Served with some mashed potatoes, topped with bacon and cheddar and baked for a nice crust. We ended with a apple strudel and a chocolate cherry bread pudding. Food was absolutely delicious! Service was a bit slow, which was surprising, but the food was definitely worth another visit.

Yelp
I had a wonderful meal the other evening at the cook, and the cork. As is expected with this restaurant, everything was top-notch! Food was spectacular! We had the bacon wrapped dates , mahi skewers with potato cake, and the pappardelle bolognese. All the dishes were phenomenal. These dates are scrumptious. They make you want at least another half dozen, per person. I'm remiss for not paying full attention to the special small plates because the Mahi skewers off the charts delicious. I truly don't remember what was in the hearty cakes serve with the mahi but so freakin yum! As for the entree, it was absolutely HUGE! We ABSOLUTELY split it. There was so much meat in the sauce. It was truly a symphony of flavors. EVERY DISH HIT THE MARK! This was the first time my friend, who's a full blooded Italian, said this was almost as good as moms gravy, and THAT is saying something! The cook in the cork is a gem well hidden in our sleepy little city of Coral Springs. Make it a destination for your delicious cravings! Bacon Wrapped Dates

Yelp
Came in for HH and to try a new spot and overall not disappointed. We opted for the tempura shrimp...yum and olives to start. Also had to try the shrimp and Crawfish cakes, just ok, wasn't a fan of the side that came with it. Entrees were the shrimp and salmon in broth. The proteins were cooked amazingly. The booth needed a lil something in which soy sauce helped. My mom had the KFC and the portion was very nice and the slaw...delicious. I felt the chicken need a lil something but was cooked perfectly. Overall not a bad choice but can be a lil pricey

Yelp
amazing amazing restaurant. My food was delicious. Great service and perfect vibes. One of the best in Coral Springs

Shari S.

Yelp
This was my second time at this restaurant and my opinion didn't change .It was another packed spot with mediocre food at best.Maybe it's me but when I go out for dinner, I want to be wowed. I want the food to taste like nothing I could create at home . This food was not that. Everything was flavorless and UNDER seasoned. The tuna crispy rice was so bad, greasy rice and a spec of tuna on top .The duck leg confit was bland, the snapper special was fishy with no flavor . The Korean fried chicken was the worst of all . It was simply a piece of breaded chicken breast with a side of hot honey . Has the chef even been to an H- Mart or a bonchon place, ever heard of Gochujan ?. So sad . Please don't call it Korean Fried chicken! The service was excellent. I just won't go back for mediocre food.

JJ S.

Yelp
Small place inside and a bit dark but the service and food are worth it. The quality is there and the portions are nice. Worth the cost as it was all nicely presented.

Zoe C.

Yelp
Tiny spot in Coral Springs with an eclectic menu. I went for happy hour and the restaurant was pretty empty around Friday at 5:45 p.m. The red sangria was delicious. However, the food options on the happy hour menu are extremely limited ~ 4 items were available. I ordered the Mussels off the happy hour menu and then ordered the Gem Lettuce Gremolata, Rice Cakes, Crawfish & Shrimp Cakes and Steamed Mushrooms to share off the regular menu. The Mussels did not taste right, but the sauce was good. The Rice Cakes and Crawfish & Shrimp Cakes were delicious. The Steamed Mushrooms were very disappointing -- they were still raw. For $100, it was just an okay meal, but I did leave full.

Yelp
The food here was amazing. Live lives in this area for years now and didn't even notice this cute little restaurant. We had a reservation but ended up Sitting at the bar. You definitely should make reservations as it is a pretty small spot. It's so worth it because the food is really amazing. Full of flavor and didn't disappoint. The bartender was also amazing. Super friendly and very attentive. Highly suggest checking this place. I'll be going back for sure.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
4.5 because they do not have charcuterie which was disappointing. This was such a fun place with great food and a very nice wine selection. Their homemade chips with bacon dip was out of this world! We also loved the pierogi. I really wish they offered charcuterie because the other appetizers are kind of heavy. I will definitely be back.

Dalila G.

Yelp
Really cute place for a date night or a get together either your girlfriends . Really great wine selection and in and outside seating. The ribs here were to die for so if they have me available when you go then absolutely have em! Service was a little slow but maybe because it was chilly and the servers had more people sitting inside than outside. Will definitely go again.

Ashley S.

Yelp
Came here to check out their dine out Fort Lauderdale menu. I've heard so much about this place. I was excited to give this place try it's super close to home so that's always nice. This place is located on the corner of a Plaza. As we enter, the hose greeted us and said it down immediately. The bar was busy because it was happy hour and you can only get happy hour items at the bar, the bar is pretty small to fit about 10-12 people. This place offers a daily menu that the chef whips up keeping it fresh alive and fun. I ordered the wagyu Bolognese pasta because everybody was talking about it on the yelp reviews and I was actually craving pasta. It was so good! My friend had the Ramen with mushrooms. It was very juicy, missing a little flavor, but it was good. We also ordered for appetizers, the fried shrimp and their sauce which was pretty decent and also the short ribs were really good for a drink I had a white sangria because it was one of their specialty drinks of the night. The place is definitely good for date night or a small family gathering. They do offer indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside though because South Florida weather is a little bipolar and I just got my hair done and I don't want it to frizz.

Yelp
What a lovely evening. First our waiter, DAVE was great! We tried several different dishes- crawfish/shrimp cakes, homemade chips and dip (OMG), chicken argue, mussels (enough for 2-3), Cherry chocolate bread pudding - everything was great! Hubby had an "in-fashion" cocktail and I had a lite espresso martini. These were so good. Nice blues music mating, awesome service and delicious food. Cannot wait to go back.

Maria E. N.

Yelp
What an amazing inventive menu!! We had a lot of fun, and so enjoyed our dinner and drinks. Kudos to the check, and Kudos +++ to the servers.

Kelly F.

Yelp
The response from the "business owner" is completely laughable. Trust should be earned. Plus it completely misses the point. The food was not impressive. Rather make it at home.

Julia F.

Yelp
The Cook and The Cork was fantastic. We came with friends and sat outside in their beautiful courtyard. I love the ambiance. We shared a bunch of small plates. The crawfish shrimp crab cakes are the absolute best. The spareribs and book Choy were very good. I also had Parpadelle Bolognes, which was bland and I wouldn't recommend. all in all, everyone was happy and we will be back.

Bernz G.

Yelp
Whenever you sit and think to yourself "man.. I 'd love to just take the leap risk it all and have a start neighborhood restaurant , that serves amazing food and created a magical ambiance" just know.. these ppl ACTUALLY did it. Super good spot, good food and a hidden gem. We sat outside and Service on the night we went was not amazing but I can tell it usually is...

Karen C.

Yelp
Not sure what the issue was, but our experience this time was vastly inferior to previous visits. My companion's short rib dinner was fine as previous. It's his favorite and go to here. My pork chops were very over cooked and dry. Service was poor. Never offered a refill of my wine. Waiter didn't check back after we got our food until my companion was almost finished. Since it took him so long to check back, I finally ate some of mine, though at least half of my $38 pork chop came home for our dogs. Both of our $38 entrées were served on brownish colored plates that were badly chipped. The corner of my companion's plate was entirely chipped off. I expect chipped dishes at a diner, though don't really like it. At The Cook and The Cork, not so much. The restaurant was contacted privately the next morning after our visit via their web site and failed to respond in any way whatsoever.

Elita K.

Yelp
We came here last night to take advantage of the Dine Out Fort Lauderdale menu. It's $44 per person and you can select an appetizer, entree and dessert from a limited menu. Although this place is known for their extensive wine list, I'm taking a course of antibiotics and couldn't drink so they were nice enough to make me a mock tail (mojito) that was great. My husband said his real version was good too. I thought the crispy tuna rice appetizer was outrageously good. The tempura shrimp was also tasty. I had the short rib and my husband went with the KFC. Both were served with veggies and mashed potatoes. The portions were very generous. I thought the rib edged out the chicken. It was cooked well but needed a bit more seasoning. Brownie with ice cream and creme brûlée for dessert were both good as well. Service is great, restaurant is small and intimate so a reservation is always a good idea. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed the food.

Laura B.

Yelp
Interesting menu Some food was very good and other dishes were just ok Nice ambiance Outstanding service , they were out of several wines and that's what they are known for Small restaurant I might try it again

Lesly C.

Yelp
It's a fancy cozy tiny restaurant. It's a great choice for a special romantic dinner.

Donna C.

Yelp
Great service and great food! The homemade potato chips with bacon dip was amazing. Nice spice/warm sangria was delicious. Duck confit and pappardella bolognese was scrumptious.

Ava V.

Yelp
After arriving and seeing some of the pictures of food I was turned of and lost my appetite so I left

Ed S.

Yelp
Food OK but a bit on the high side (KFC Chicken $28). My opinion. Size of dishes, rather small. Service, well I gave my server a 15% tip predicated on fair service (had to ask for ice for the bottle water served three times). Ambiance, well pictured restaurant is much larger than actual. I guess ok. However, three days later checking my credit card bill, it was changed to a 20% tip charge. Not ethical in my book. I will take my business elsewhere. Shame on you.

Marie A.

Yelp
So happy I found this spot! The mussels and shrimp tempura were out of this world and the wine selection by the glass was fabulous. The service was great - A hidden at a strip mall gem

Brooks R.

Yelp
I had the great opportunity of dining at this cute little Bristo several weeks ago. I never get out to Coral Springs much because I live Delray, but I'm glad I did. The food was just right amount where I felt I was getting great value, and my server was great. Jordan made us feel right at home, he was honest, funny, and knowledgeable. All of the things you want in a server, and I will be back on the experience he gave me, and my date. I also loved the eclectic wine list as well. Would recommend for sure.

Jay K.

Yelp
We stopped in here after seeing a review on yelp. We couldn't have been happier with the outcome! We the Korean, fried chicken, and a special with shrimp, salmon, mushrooms, and bok choy in a very delicious broth. Excellent, in fact double excellent. We sat at the bar, (the restaurant, packed ) and Lori took care of us, again excellent! When dinner was over, the chef had come out of the kitchen, and we spoke to him for quite a while, very interesting guy and an overall great experience! Thank you Chef, thank you, Lori!!

Amy G.

Yelp
We have been wanting to try this place for a while. Went for our 21st anniversary. We had a wonderful dinner with amazing fresh food. I had the Brie cigars for an appetizer they were delicious. The duck confit with cheddar grits does not disappoint. Very nice wine list. The server was great and just attentive enough not overbearing. It was romantic place for dinner. We will definitely be back soon!

Laurie M.

Yelp
I was at this restaurant again tonight and Keith, always mixes up the menu and it has different specials tonight I ordered all three of his specials and they just knocked my socks off. You'll never get bored with this place. Everything is so delicious.

Daniel D.

Yelp
This restaurant is unlike any other place that you've been in the Coral Springs area. It is laid back and exudes a great laid back attitude, excellent food, great atmosphere with friendly efficient service. This was our very first visit to what I would call a slightly eclectic restaurant in Coral Springs. We arrived a little early for our Saturday evening reservation to check out the area and outdoor seating. The setting kind of reminded me a little bit of DADA in Delray Beach. The outdoor area had quite a few tables and was adorned with strung up lighting and colorful murals. You can tell that this area really comes alive when the weather is cooperating. The music selection was right up our alley for dining, contemporary rock themed, at just the right volume. The setting inside was very intimate, eclectic and cozy. On this visit, the weather was not cooperating so we took a table inside. After being seated our server Jordan who was very attentive throughout the evening walked us through the menu. He gave us time to review the small but extensive menu offerings. It became immediately obvious that Chef Keith Blauschild really has a knack for creating interesting pairings that totally work. For our drinks we both opted for the Red Sangria which Jordan advised us was made with a touch of cinnamon. This was a first for both of us and yes, was it delicious! It kind a transformed the Sangria into an apple pie. For our starters we ordered the PEI Mussels that are made with fine herbs, garlic, white wine & Pernod sauce and topped with a toasted piece of Focaccia bread. We also ordered the Crawfish & Shrimp Cakes which are served with Creole Remoulade, Pickled Swamp Cabbage (hearts of palm). I could not get enough of either; the marriage of flavors was out of this world. The cakes were loaded with chunks of shrimp and crawfish. One bite was better than the next and the serving sizes on both dishes were incredible. For our entrées Doris opted for the Tamari-Honey Glazed Short Rib that is served over Wasabi Mashed Potatoes and accompanied with Cranberry Mostarda. The meat was melt in your mouth tender and the explosion of flavors that was just as good if not better than appetizers. "Mmmm yummmm, from now on I absolutely must have my mashed potatoes made Wasabi style, please." Was a direct quote from Doris. I on the other hand was torn between the KFC (KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN) and the Special Pork Schnitzel. I asked Jordan to surprise me and make the choice. So, Pork Schnitzel it was and boy was it delicious! Served with Braised Purple Cabbage, Potato Dumplings and an Apple Demi you could not conceive a better pairing of flavors and textures. Thank you for the great choice Jordan. After reviewing the dessert selection we went right back to Jordan for his recommendations the Double Chocolate Brownies and the Blueberry Cobbler both a la mode. I hate to repeat myself but I have to. DELICIOUS!!! The wine list is sure to fit most tastes. As their name implies, wine plays a big part. They "present all the great wine producing regions, plus the under-marketed wine-producing areas of the world. They also boast an extensive Saké collection and offer a rotating variety of craft beers from around the world". "As for the food, the website says they are classified as New American, but Global Flavors or World Influenced better describes the depth and variety of our food choices." Overall, our drinks, appetizers, dinners and desserts were served in a timely manner by an excellent staff. We really loved this cute little funky, artsy place with a great environment, food and super friendly staff. We will be back soon for sure! #SoFloDining.com

Yelp
I was looking for someplace new and saw this on the Yelp IG page and I am happy to say, it lives up to the great reviews. It was early on Friday evening and my husband and I took a drive to Coral Springs to check out The Cook and the Cork. We didn't have a reservation (which I highly recommend, because they were booked for the night), but the hostess was so nice, she was able to seat us outside at a high top since we were just going to have drinks and appetizers. The outdoor garden is heavenly. The ambience is on point with perfect lighting. This is a beautiful setting to enjoy a meal and conversation. The patio is peaceful and inviting and the service is exceptional. Our waiter and all the staff stopped by the table to acknowledge us. Someone has taught their staff excellence and that comes from the top. So, to the owners, it's quite obvious, you treat your employees well and they are more than happy to return the favor to your customers. With an extensive wine list, they have won awards from Wine Spectator and on my next visit, I will enjoy a nice bottle of red. Over 30 different wines are offered by the glass and tonight we opted for 2 glasses of Sauvignon Blanc which was delightful. We ordered two small plates, which were perfect to share. Octopus - sauteed with fennel and hints of paprika on a bed of potatoes and pickled red onion. Outstanding! Jamaican Jerk wings came six to an order they were crispy with a nice bite of spice. There's some magic going on in the kitchen here. The time here was short, but the experience makes me crave for more. I will be back, with a reservation next time so I can fully experience the great food and service.

Marie-Eve T.

Yelp
Staff was very attentive and pleasant. It's a smaller restaurant but somehow it doesn't feel cramped inside. Everything I tried was delicious! The red sangria, the Korean spare ribs, the homemade chips with bacon dip, the Mexican style corn, the spicy tuna on crispy rice and the caramel bread pudding. I definitely will come back again and I highly recommend it to everyone to try it out.

Brandi S.

Yelp
We love this little romantic spot in Coral Springs! We experience great service and everyone has been super friendly each time we have visited. The menu is forever changing which keeps us wondering about what new tasty items they will offer next. We have ordered take out for them as well and they never disappoint. One of our favorite items to order are the bacon wrapped dates and the spare ribs are a MUST! After writing this review and reminding myself of all the goodies this place offers...looks like I will be visiting for date night again soon :)

Diane K.

Yelp
Great food. Delightful employees. Calming atmosphere. Try their short ribs and the KFC. Korean Fried Chicken. Two staples you will repeatedly return to order

Dean T.

Yelp
We have family in Boca and this was the place they picked! Really friendly staff and perfect for a fine dining experience in casual atmosphere, we sat with Jordan who was very personable.

Yamina B.

Yelp
Been coming here for years. Great food and amazing service! A hidden gem in Coral Springs.

Stephanie B.

Yelp
This is the PERFECT date spot. Small, romantic atmosphere with a good wine selection. Suggest making reservations during busy times. Highly recommend the short rib dinner with wasabi mashed. I came here with family but I will definitely be coming back for date night.

Griselle C.

Yelp
Eclectic food with a ice variety and great service. You feel so welcomed when you get there.

Marc D.

Yelp
Heard about this restaurant from one of my Facebook pages Intrigued I drove to Coral Springs and boy glad I did Mt first draw is the bacon wrapped dates. They were so good I contemplated ordering more as a entree., Next we shared the crab Cakes, the octopus, ribs, and duck. All prepared to perfection and full of flavor. Our server Jordan was attentive a very knowledgeable about the menu. At the bar I met Kevin the chef/proprietor to express my heavenly appreciation for the food. He ran into the kitchen and gave me a bottle of his special hot sauce. I could so highly recommend the Cook and Cork more highly recommend. This is a gem in Coral Springs

Stacy B.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in South Florida for a thoughtful wine list and delicious plates to compliment! Make a reservation! You'll be glad you did!

Anisha R.

Yelp
My company had our holiday party here. It was great and lots of fun. The small bites was very delish but I had the filet mignon for dinner and that wasn't great. Seems like it was boil and no flavor.

Alise L.

Yelp
I would like to give them a 3.5 but since that's not an option I'll do a 4. The atmosphere is nice but the indoor is a little dark and the corner outside table we had was dark compared to other sections of the patio. This could be due to several light bulbs being out behind us. The hostess was very friendly and found us outdoor seating although we were reserved for the bar which is greatly appreciated. Our waiter Dave appeared very busy and he was efficient despite this. We ordered the crawfish and shrimp cakes and they were the best thing we ate. We also ordered the brussel sprouts and to me the sauce was a little vinegary. For entrees we have the pork chop and ribs. The pork chop was a basic grilled chop with not much flavor or season. My husband liked the ribs but I felt they weren't anything special. The mashed potatoes and zucchini that accompanied them were better. The sangria was different than your normal and I enjoyed that as well as a glass of the red blend. Overall not a bad spot but it's not somewhere I'd frequent or have to run back to.

Frank P.

Yelp
Mediocre at best, I had the steak which was not seasoned at all though they do give you a dip in sauce. My wife had the Bolognese, which was better the second day, but still not great. Service can take a boil, and it gets noise because they try to squeeze in as many tables as they can in the couple right near you get here you and you can hear them.

Sara L.

Yelp
What a great restaurant! My husband and I came here to celebrate some good news and we were blown away. The food is exceptional! Everything we tried was amazing. The pappardelle bolognese was to die for. The Spare RIBS WERE OMG! Eggplant and Korean Rice Cake's were also out of this world. The playlist had a great vibe. We overall had an amazing night. I did not feel like I was in the suburbs of Coral Springs. I felt like I was in NYC for sure!

Trang L.

Yelp
I was so pleasantly surprised by The Cook and The Cork! I grew up around this area, but assumed this place was standard American fare. Ambiance: I will say the ambiance is sub-par. Older style, red tile with black grout, dark red lights. On first impressions it gave off a dirty vibe. It was surprisingly casual inside, in a good way. Staff: The hostesses were very friendly and seated my husband and I immediately. We waited about 20 minutes for a waiter to come over, but when he arrived he apologized for the delay and was very kind and attentive throughout the night. Drink: We ordered the red sangria, and it was absolutely fabulous. Deep, bold flavors, with a lot of fruits to nibble one! Honestly one of my favorite sangrias I've ever had. Our waiter also gave us an extra glass due to the delay from earlier, which was much appreciated. Food: Delicious! We started with the homemade chips and french onion + bacon dip. This was so good! The dip basically tastes like the Lays french onion dip + bacon. So nothing exuberantly special, but it was cozy and delcious, and I would come back for drinks with this item alone. Next we enjoyed the Mexican Street Corn salad. This was definitely a fun twist on a salad. I loved the sweetness of the corn, with the spicy from the fried jalapeno, and we loved the strips of cheese on top. It's a heavy salad though. Finally for dinner, we enjoyed the PEI mussels, steamed mushrooms, and bolognese. The sauce in the mussels was creamy and delicious, and came with their rosemary ficcata bread. The steamed mushrooms were a showstopper--we honestly didn't think it would be anything aside from just plain steamed mushrooms. It is made with three difference mushrooms in miso, yuzu, and sake. It was so good! Finally, the bolognese. Pasta was light and airy, meat sauce was delicious. Overall, food was fantastic and we would definitely come back!

Yelp
The restaurant was cute. Tight seating but that doesn't bother me. The ambiance was nice as well. The food was absolutely horrible. We didn't know if they were American or Japanese or what. Then Our food came and we ordered three out of the five main dishes and they were awe full. My sister had the pork chop and it had no flavor, the sauce was horrible and didn't fit the dish. I could go on and on and It makes me sad because we were so excited to try this place.
