"At this sophisticated British cafe located in the Lake Falls Village shopping center, light, spongy crumpets; softball-sized cheddar biscuits; and gluten-free Nutella financiers emerge from the ovens each day. Breakfast draws a crowd with favorites like the “Fat Egg Sammy,” a griddled and buttered crumpet with a fried egg topped with either TCP bacon or ham. Fridays put fish and chips, another of chef Neill Howell’s homages to his English roots, on the menu." - Jess Mayhugh, Eater Staff

Love the creativity and quality. Apparently so does the rest of the world, because it was MOBBED! If you are handicapped, do not come in the door closest to the lake falls village tower!!!! There was barely room to move, and it was overwhelming. I was anxious. I realized there is a second door, and it’s the better door. Both doors are very heavy though, and the correct door is the farthest from the accessible parking. The food is so so tasty and, as I said, kudos for creativity! I tried the pear, goat cheese, toffee muffin, deviled eggs, and matcha with almond milk. Every single food and beverage tastes unlike anywhere I’ve ever had it before: better (although the rosemary, chocolate chip with lemon…maybe raspberry chocolate chip with lemon? Or strawberry? Didn’t like the rosemary but was glad to try something out of the ordinary).

I've been here 3 times now and every time I'm consistently blown away. The pastries are immaculate and creative- featuring fresh fruit, bold flavors, and heavenly texture. The only complaint I have is that the scones are too dry for me, but they do often have the most innovative flavors, I keep finding myself ordering them and enjoying them despite not enjoying the texture. Even though I like the vibes here, it's not a place where you can go to hang out and relax- it's too cramped and crowded for that. It's not so cramped that it ruins the experience, but it's not somewhere you could stay for an extended period of time.

Getting there was a bit crammed and busy. As there’s a little entryway. My boyfriend and I moved a couple times to be out of anyone’s way as we were deciding on what to get. Eventually ended up going closer to the back corner, since there were so many people coming in and out. We were both confused if they served food as well with only seeing the coffee menu only being visible, until we saw a pile of paper menus behind us when we were at the front. Eventually we ordered I got the top cured salmon rosti and my boyfriend got the tcp sandwhich. As for our coffees he got the vanilla latte and I ended up getting a cortado with mocha. The food was great, the salmon rosti had. Nice crunchy potatoe hash with carmelize onions on the bottom of the skillet which complimented the whole dish so well, good if you’re looking to eat something small. My boyfriend said his sandwich was flavorful, we shared the chips they had on the side with his order. A bit salty but still good, had a touch of vinegar, such a good crunch when we take a bite out of it, def have to try it with ketchup so good. Coffee was rich in flavor The only thing i have to point out is the little space there is in between tables and having to maneuver around without bumping into anyone. As for the servers as well as they were getting everyone their orders, and giving ours having to place everything in our small table. Other than that def a place I would go to again, couldn’t help but see what everyone else got since it looked so good.

British cafe with a small menu of dine in and plenty of pastries/baked goods to choose from. We were in the area and saw this place on the map and decided to give it a try. You place an order at the counter and then find a seat. It was packed on a Friday morning. The inside is very small and narrow, with a lot of small tables. We ordered a sandwich, pancakes, and a sausage roll. The sausage roll had such good flavor but felt too buttery. The egg sandwich served on the crumpet was just ok, I loved the crumpet. I will just get the crumpet next time. The pancakes were my favorite. They were perfectly fluffy and had a sweet crunchy topping served with bananas. I love fruit so I wish they gave more fruit! Everything was delicious but on the heavier side. I’d come back to try the delicious looking baked goods! Parking there’s a lot and there’s extra tables outside if it’s warm!

Stopped by here to have lunch at around 2pm, but since they close at 3pm, they had already run out of some great dishes (which narrowed our options considerably, because we’re vegetarian). We ended up getting two cold salads and some fries. The food was delicious! (The sweet potato salad was the best!) The place was crowded but during a slightly quieter time, one might be able to enjoy the ambience better. I’d suggest getting here early (looks like it’s primarily a breakfast spot), especially on weekends.

British bakery with a nicely curated selection of pastries. It is an ideal place for weekend brunch or weekday lunch. I am a huge fan of their scones. The flavors change almost every week allowing you to try something different every time you visit. They have regular items on the menu as well. Their sandwiches are always so satisfying and delicious. We had skinny egg sandwich, blueberry scone and porridge. The sandwich is made with egg whites and it was delicious. It is called skinny but the oil content is quite high, so you might want to consider that if you are looking for a low calorie food specifically. The blueberry scone is so flaky and flavorful. It is warmed up if you request, and served with butter and jam. We also had the porridge (small size). It was super creamy and delicious, served with apples, crunchy pumpkin seeds, and maple syrup. The milk is on the side if you want to add to your porridge. The portion is really satisfying and even the small size is enough I believe. This is a must try place if you are visiting Baltimore. Or if you are a local, a place which you can add your weekend rituals.

The redesigned space is beautiful and spacious. There are many cozy nooks to escape to alone and plenty of seating indoors and out for small groups. As always the food is on point and delicious with lots of unique offerings. They have an excellent selection of gluten-free dishes and treats to delight the senses. And the coffee bar is chock full of richness. Go whenever you can, but save me a seat!!
