"Located inside the tony Adolphus Hotel Downtown, the French Room is one of those impossibly high-ceilinged rooms decorated in neoclassical style with Louis XVI furniture and show-stopping chandeliers. There is a full kitchen, although it is currently primarily used for providing tea service at present. That means passed trays of savory and sweet bites are taken care of — and so is Champagne, of which the French Room has plenty. Moreover, it’s inside a hotel so the wedding party all have somewhere central to stay. It’s a great pick for a couple who has a generous budget and a taste for the finer things." - Courtney E. Smith
"One of Dallas’s most famous tea services at the French Room is amping it up this year with service seven days a week. In fact, tea service in this grand ballroom is so popular that the hotel can’t seem to get dinner service back on its agenda. Afternoon tea starts with a glass of bubbly (or a non-alcoholic sparkling rosé), followed by trays of truffled egg salad sandwiches, roasted pork loin, golden raisin scones, and a sakura cherry blossom cheesecake tart. Bites come in three courses, each paired with a new tea. Reservations are strongly recommended (make yours on Resy), with numerous seatings between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Service costs $75 per person" - Rachel Pinn

Guests can enjoy the Cocoa Tea Tier, a paired-down version of the French Room’s famous afternoon tea, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $45 per person. The holiday offerings this year include a Truffle Egg Salad sandwich on a croissant; cucumber and mint cream cheese on sourdough; tandoori chicken salad and pickles on challah; orange chocolate tarts; poached pear tarts; and sticky toffee pudding cake. No reservations are required, and kids are welcome." - Courtney E. Smith

Larger wedding parties with an eye towards luxury at any cost should consider the space." - Courtney E. Smith
