Denver’s Best Pizza Restaurants | Eater Denver

"Despite the name and the Big Apple–inspired decor, Delores Tronco’s urbane RiNo haunt doesn’t do New York–style pies. What it does do, however, is fabulous, from the chewy, well-structured sourdough crust made with single-mill grain and the housemade mozzarella to smart topping combos like Brie, speck, arugula, and balsamic or Gouda, crescenza, and mushroom conserva." - Paul Albani-Burgio

The 13 Best Restaurants In RiNo

"You’re not going to want to share any dish on The Greenwich’s menu. But since you probably aren’t capable of finishing roasted clams, a few sourdough-crusted pizzas, a plate covered in spicy lemongrass hamachi tiradito, thrice-cooked potatoes, and a lemon roasted chicken all on your own, you should probably bring some friends to help. And if for some reason you can only pick one thing to eat in all of RiNo, make it The Greenwich cheesecake. The caramelized, olive oil-drizzled, Basque-style cake is a creamy slice of heaven. Where to Dine in the RiNo Neighborhood

"While it’s named for the New York neighborhood whose artistic energy informs the decor of the airy, high-ceilinged space, this New American hot spot takes its culinary cues from all over the world. Picture lamb meatballs spiced with Yemeni hawayej alongside whipped feta and salsa verde; sourdough dumplings in five-spice broth with sunchoke chips; and braised short ribs with fregola sarda, honey labneh, and salsa negra, plus a slew of dishes highlighting locally grown vegetables and enticing pizzas. But there is one way to take a bite out of the Big Apple here: by ordering what may be the best cheesecake in town." - Eater Staff, Ruth Tobias

The Greenwich Review - Denver - The Infatuation

"At first glance, the menu at The Greenwich looks pretty straightforward—there are pizzas, vegetables, and roasted chicken—but the familiar dishes are new and exciting here. Sourdough-crusted pizzas are topped with honey labneh and hot sauce and braised greens come with za’atar spiced yogurt and zingy, crispy capers. Above all, order the cheesecake for dessert: a Basque-style, creamy, caramelized wonder finished with extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. The space has a cool feel, complete with a lofted dining area. " - Allyson Reedy

Talk about a comfort restaurant! The moment you walk in, you’re wrapped in the cozy embrace of what feels like a NYC loft—moody lighting, soft music, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll spot the sweetest employee of the month, Charlie 🐶catching a nap as you dine. The Parisian gnocchi? TO. DIE. FOR. Especially when paired with the meatballs and polenta—a combo so good, I found myself back just a week later. The pizza? Solid. The cocktails? Perfectly balanced. And if you’re ending the night with dessert, do not skip the tiramisu balls, happiness in every bite.

Food that tugs at your heart, all the dishes made up of memories is what Delores has created. Presentation excited me and the bites didn’t disappoint. I loved the nod to her roots like the I ♥️NYC coffee cup, being greeted by her in a Yankees Cap. If you didn’t catch her on a segment by Kyle Clark she has worked her ASS off and overcome closing one place to not giving up and opening another. Go here not only for her food but for her perseverance. Staff was funny and a joy. Easton is my new bestie. I think I found my new favorite place. Thank You!!

We had a great meal at this place, the atmosphere was great as well! My only complaint was that the server never presented the bill. When we put our credit card on the table to pay he took the card and only brought back the 2 credit card receipts. Luckily my husband had seen on the menu that they charge a 20% service fee because the way the bill was presented, it was still asking for a tip amount:/ $97 for a pizza, fried zucchini app (food was very good) 1 glass of rose and 2 beers

What a beautiful restaurant! Loved the vibe inside. The meatballs were our favorite! Loved the polenta served with them. Pizza was very nice as well. Looking forward to sitting at their bar next time! Really enjoyed meeting the owner, Delores. The restaurant has a cool family story behind it!

Heard good reviews about this place and couldn't have had more of the opposite experience. Got a meatball appetizer at the bar. The meatballs are incredibly spicy and very small for the cost. Also tried making conversation with the bartender while sitting there and got literally ignored and walked away from . Very rude staff tonight, incredibly unfortunate as I'm an avid person who eats out in the area. Also an automatic charge for a tip after literally getting disrespected, icing on the cake.

Our family was walking around the Rino area looking for somewhere delicious to have dinner. It must have been our lucky day because we stumbled upon The Greenwich! The place was tastefully decorated, the staff was pleasant and accommodating and the food and beverages were to die for! We tried the lamb meatballs, the beets appetizer, the braised short ribs and a piece of cheesecake for dessert. All amazing! My wife sipped on the Cornelia Street and I enjoyed one of the best Old Fashioneds I have ever had. Their bartender, Coy, really knows how to make a cocktail! Cheers friends. We cannot wait to come back!

Google
Such a cute NYC inspired pizza & tapas restaurant. We were seated outside at a small 2 person table. The waiter recommended a handful of dishes which made it hard to decide what to order. Everything sounded delish. We opted for the stracciatella small plate, clams & fregola pasta, the calabrese & hot honey pizza, and the cheesecake. Everything had great flavor, a little on the saltier side but still flavorful. The pizza was our favorite. The sourdough crust, thinly sliced sausage, and hot honey was a great combination. I wasn’t overly impressed with the pasta but it was a nice addition to our meal. The prices are on the higher side with 20% service fee included. They did charge for soft drink refills - $8 for 2 glasses of Diet Coke seems crazy. Overall, a great place for a group dinner or date night. I’d like to come back to try their chicken piccata or happy hour!

Last night I came to The Greenwich with a friend who was having a bad day. Sue and Easten took care of us and were super patient with my friend’s requests and had excellent attitudes. I loved my filthy martini, the pizza was perfect and I really enjoyed their take on the Caesar salad. 10/10 loved my meal.

Yelp
The meatball + polenta is very good The Negroni is also superb. But they didn't mention there will be 20% mandatory tips, wasn't written anywhere and wasn't told. Service was also not up to par. I drive for Lyft and Uber and people rarely leave tips. This restaurant has the gut to put mandatory tips is really beyond my imagination. Mandatory tips is theft

Yelp
We dined here a month ago and I've been stewing about my review ever since. Julep, the original in this space, built a nice bar with a large kitchen and great food. The Greenwich is still a nice bar, but the kitchen is wasted on a place with delusions of grandeur and a failure of execution. We arrived fairly early, but the space filled up quickly. Perhaps it was a bit more crowded than usual because it was raining and the large patio could not be used. Most people were ordering drinks or drinks and bar snacks. They appeared to be satisfied. We came for dinner and had a different experience. We started off well with an excellent glass of wine and a well-made negroni. Things went downhill fast. We ordered the Gem salad, a Caesar variant with green goddess dressing. The salad came to the table in precisely 15 seconds after ordering. It had clearly been sitting in the refrigerator for hours, if not overnight. The dressing and greens were stale and the croutons were soggy. Ick. We did not complain. What would have been the point? No legitimate restaurant would do something like this. I've had better salads at fast food restaurants. A month later and I'm still outraged. We carried on with "Jersey Ernie's" meatballs which seemed to be something of a specialty. They were adequate. There were hard lumps of something in the meatballs that had not been ground properly. The brown-butter polenta had a very odd consistency. I'd guess a combination of insufficient whisking and cooking too quickly. Sigh. We're gluttons for punishment and were still hungry so we ordered the Greenwich cheesecake. This wasn't bad, but would have been so much better if it wasn't served ice cold, straight out of the refrigerator. I don't know what happened here. The photos on the restaurant's Web site, on Yelp, and on Google show what is clearly far superior food. We didn't receive much of it. Did the chef quit that morning? Something was up, but I can only review what I was served. Service was good, the drinks were good, the space is nice--if a bit noisy, and there's a great patio when it isn't raining. Again, I'd recommend sticking to drinks and snacks until they get their kitchen sorted out.

Yelp
Denver's RiNo Art District continues to add to its culinary hotspots, and The Greenwich 2.0 is no exception. Once known for its New American fare, the restaurant recently unveiled a new Italian menu, which blew us away! We experienced fresh, seasonal ingredients and house-made creations that elevated the traditional Italian dining experience. We arrived at The Greenwich and were seated in the main dining room, a bright space that buzzed with friendly energy. Our server Andy had stellar recommendations - he knew the new menu inside & out - he made sure we had everything we needed while we dined & we loved his energy. The first order of business: cocktails! To complement the new Italian menu, the restaurant also curated a new cocktail & wine list featuring craft creations, Italian reds, whites, and sparklings. Whether you're a seasoned Chianti drinker or a Pinot Grigio novice, the knowledgeable staff will help you find the perfect pairing. The Ibisco Margarita was made with Campo Bravo tequila blanco, Solerno Blood Orange liqueur, Frangelico, & hibiscus. Just look at that gorgeous purple - this cocktail had floral & earthy notes. The Almafi Coast was made with Family Jones gin, cucumber, & basil EVOO. This cocktail was refreshing - light & herbaceous. The Naked & Italian was made with Bozal mezcal, Aperol, Strega, & lime. This cocktail was smoky & citrusy with a delicate bitterness. We had several Piccolini dishes which stands for "little ones". The Fried Mozz was served alongside sweet garlic salsa - golden perfection with the ultimate cheese-pull we were looking for. The King Mountain Wagyu Carpaccio was made with sunchoke chips, black garlic aioli, & sunflower sprouts. This luxurious dish was stunning - I've never seen a prettier carpaccio. The House-Made Stracciatella was the gooey inside of a burrata ball served with sourdough crackers. For Insalata we had the Insalata Di Gem which is their take on a Caesar-green goddess, with croutons & tarragon. This salad featured crisp romaine with a bright and creamy dressing & croutons for texture. No Italian meal is complete without pizza, and The Greenwich 2.0 did not disappoint. We opted for the Calabrese & Hot Honey Pizza, a delightful combination of thinly sliced Calabrese sausage, spicy tomato sauce, smoked mozzarella, & red onion. The thin, crispy crust was the perfect base for this flavorful and slightly spicy pizza. We couldn't get enough of the hot honey drizzled on each bite. For Piatto Grande we had the Famous Greenwich Roasted Chicken which was a half a 3 lb. chicken with lemon-caper sauce and served with Jacob's Mushrooms & pistachio-garlic crunch. This chicken stayed on The Greenwich's menu for a reason - it was so succulent. For dessert we had the cheesecake and torta. The Greenwich Cheesecake was made with a graham cracker crust, olive oil, & sea salt. The Torta Caprese was a a brownie-like, flourless chocolate cake with whipped crème fraîche & hazelnuts. Buon appetito!

Yelp
We had a great first visit to The Greenwich with a group of six last night. It was like dining in NYC right in RiNo. Having been opened for three years, chef Delores Tronco is the visionary behind Greenwich. Walking up the walkway to the restaurant, you'll see some amazing murals of people and sites synonymous with NYC. The two level restaurant is an artistic wonder inside. It projects a very cool vibe. The New American cuisine is exemplary. This is like a farm to table restaurant taken to the next level. Expect to be wowed by the unique ingredients used. Many reviews have complimented the high touch service you'll expect. Michael was a super host who made sure we had a great dining experience. Much of the menu is designed to be shared, plus there are some large entrees to choose from. The craft cocktails and decadent dessert complete an amazing meal. The sourdough pizza baked in a wood-fired oven, with some creative toppings, is what you'd experience in a top notch NYC pie shop. It may be the best pizza in Denver. Some of our favorites from the starter section included the Fresh Bread and Butter, Hawayek-spiced Lamb Meatballs, Thrice-Cooked Potatoes and Stracciatella. The White Pizza and Golden Filetti Pizza were perfectly prepared and very authentic. The Lemon Roasted Half Chicken was juicy and oh so flavorful. A very unique preparation. The Basque style Greenwich Cheesecake and the Prickly Pear Bavarian were yummy deserts to finish our meal. A small thing I appreciated was bringing new share plates throughout the meal. Many restaurants have you mixing course after course on the same plate. I was also impressed by the pacing of the whole meal. We ordered only a few items at a time and they were served with amazing speed. I hope you have an experience equal to our meal!

Yelp
Great ambiance, amazing wine list! Cheesecake: 3/10 my friend and I both thought it tasted lemony and burnt and weren't big fans Pizza: 7/10 dough was a bit soggy but other than that flavors were great Hamachi Crudo: 3/10 Honestly the flavors just didn't go well together for me, the sauce was amazing but the topping was too sweet and grapefruit was very bitter so the combo just didn't pair well Half chicken: 10/10 absolutely amazing, would eat this every day and never get sick of it. The sauce was insane the CRISP on the chicken ohhh my god Service: 1000/10 our server was so incredibly on top of it, we had an amazing time To wrap up, some things on the menu were meh but there are some gems and the wine selection and atmosphere were great

Yelp
Best. Meatballs. Ever!!!! Ambiance was cozy. It's a trendy Italian eatery that also has a bar and offers a happy hour menu! We ordered the mushroom pizza and the meatballs off the happy hour menu. The pizza didn't blow us away.. we thought the crust was a little too dry. But the meatballs! Omg. They were so juicy and flavorful that we got a second order! Our server was great and very attentive! Overall I would recommend having a meal here!

Yelp
Came here for Valentine's Day dinner and it did not disappoint! Walking in, the space felt really chic and cozy. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful throughout the evening. We started off with drinks and I was excited to see a couple of zero proof options on the menu. I ended up trying one of each because they were really good! For food we ordered the bread and butter, thrice cooked potatoes, the pesto pizza, and the short ribs. They ask that you order everything at once and the food the comes spaced out. Everything came out in a timely manner. The bread was nice and crunchy on the outside and we loved the turmeric butter. Next came the potatoes and those are a must order. They were so crispy and the romesco sauce was absolutely delicious, my husband and I were scraping it off with spoons at the end. Next came the pesto and burrata pizza. My husband didn't care for the squash on it but that wasn't a big deal since I ate it. The crust on the pizza was perfection. Finally came the short ribs. The sauce was amazing and the texture of the short ribs was perfection. Highly recommend The Greenwich for a date night! The food and drinks are top notch and everything was so reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
The Greenwich has become our go-to gem in Denver. Whether it's for ringing in the New Year, celebrating birthdays, or just capping off a hectic week, this is the spot we tell everyone about. One must-have is the white pizza paired with their house-made hot sauce--though we still miss the green version, the red hot sauce definitely holds its own! Just last night, we brought some old friends who were visiting from out of town and used to come here all the time with us when they lived here. We kicked things off with the fresh bread and turmeric butter (absolutely stellar), the 'simple' salad, and the crispy Colorado kale, which totally reminded us of kale chips. For our mains, we dove into the usuals: the white pizza, roasted half chicken that's always flawlessly tender and crispy-skinned, and the braised short ribs that literally fall off the bone. We also grabbed the roasted broccolini and thrice-cooked potatoes on the side. Those potatoes are always a hit, but I confess I've never actually tried the broccolini here, even though broccolini is my favorite veg--I get too caught up in the ambiance and good vibes, conversation, and drinks, and before I know it, they're gone. But, no complaints, the fun we have here more than makes up for it. The highlight of our evening was definitely our server, McKenna. The whole team at The Greenwich is fantastic, but McKenna really stands out. She's super bubbly and goes the extra mile, especially with my husband who has recently discovered a laundry list of food allergies after being ill for a decade. McKenna took it all in stride, helping us navigate the menu with ease and making adjustments as needed. She took the time to mark up a menu with what was safe and what could be modified with sauces and garnishes on the side. Absolutely incredible. It was the best dining experience we've probably ever had. Ever. So great, in fact, that we made another reservation for tonight with some other friends coming in from out of town and requested to sit in her section. Big thanks to McKenna, and big thanks to Delores for assembling such a standout team. And a massive shoutout to everyone at The Greenwich for consistently being a step above the rest. You remain our favorite, hands down!

Yelp
What a fantastic dining experience! The food was delicious, came out perfectly timed and the server was so helpful when helping us understand portion sizes. The patio looked amazing and I can't wait to go back for afternoon Happy hour or lunch with the girls. I will definitely be back. We got the little gem salad, the margarita pizza and the bacon/spinach pizza and it was all incredible!

Yelp
I love the urban, neighborhood vibe of this place. It's full of light, has a nice patio, and professional, friendly service. The food was a bit of a hit or miss with a limited menu for entrees. I like the farm-to-table focus here. I wish it was a bit more refined. We started with the bread and butter. The butter was unique and worth a try, the bread was gooey. The beets were really meh, the presentation was uninspiring, the dressing was really acidic and the beets themselves didn't taste that sweet. I would never know they were salt-crusted in preparation or why that matters in this dish. This was a miss. The crudo was excellent, fresh, and light with a kick of spice. It tasted great and the whole thing worked. The entrees were very limited, would have been nice to see a pasta, a fish other than salmon, steak. We got the chicken, but what made this dish was the unique cucumber sauce. It just elevated it and at the same time it was a light, bright flavor. The side of broccolini was another miss for me. There was nothing special about this side, it was also salty and swimming in sauce. I like the concept of this place and the vibe so will definitely give it another try.

Yelp
Loved this spot! Went here after having a mediocre experience at a so called wine bar nearby, and this place had a much better wine selection and much more knowledgeable staff. We only had drinks since we had already eaten, but definitely want to come back for a pizza. Great atmosphere too! Small and family friendly.

Yelp
I checked out the menu prior to coming in and it advertised an all-day happy hour on Tuesday that I took interest in. Unfortunately, when I came in they advised that it wasn't offered today because of a "new menu launch". Because of this, the friendly bartender offered a taste of their latest lime-cello concoction and an after dinner Amaro digestif to boot! The layout is great with lots of outdoor options. I ordered the mushroom pizza and the Naked & Italian drink, which were both excellent. I was assured that the happy hour would be back, so I will also be back!

Yelp
Listen people -- if you're going to bookmark any of my Colorado recommendations, it has to be this one. I recently visited and this was my favorite restaurant that I ate at by far! Order the roasted chicken and gem salad to share -- it's the perfect amount for two people. Our waitress was also very attentive.

Yelp
I visited on a Tuesday night with my cousins and it was absolutely delightful. The ambiance was perfect, dark and lively. The server was really kind and helped recommend us a variety of dishes. We ordered Fresh Bread + Butter with whipped ricotta w/ almond ancho crunch, Cripsy Colorado Kale, Citrus Fennel, Salt-Crusted Beets, Braised Short Ribs, Golden Filetti Pizza, and the Roasted Mushroom Pizza! I highly recommend trying the fresh bread (we ordered a second one because it was so good!) and the citrus and fennel - those were my absolute favorites! My cousins love the braised short ribs because it was so tender! The roasted mushroom pizza is my favorite pizza from the list. For a group of 6, this is a good amount of food! We were left with a food coma haha.

Yelp
I highly recommend this place after having a fantastic meal. Their menu is seasonal and changing with small and large plates and sourdough pizza. Service is friendly and attentive with dishes timed well. We were hungry so we started with the fresh bread & butter and marinated olives & fontina. The oat maple country loaf was extra crisp on the outside and was a perfect match for the amazing whipped turmeric butter with a hint of spice from Aleppo peppers. Their sourdough pizzas are full of toppings The white pizza comes with smoked mozzarella, provolone, Gouda, and ricotta with house made hot sauce on the side. You can add a protein with pepperoni. Plenty enough to share and to save some for later. The orzotto entree was a comfort food dish with flavorful oyster mushrooms, kale and squash atop orzo rice and a perfectly poached egg on top. With very little room for dessert but we were determined to have some, we went with the Greenwich cheesecake. A NY style creamy and fluffy slice with EVOO and sea salt to balance the sweetness. Their HH runs 5-6pm M-F and all day Tuesday. Don't forget to visit the restroom. It has fun wallpaper with a nod to NYC with squirrels hailing taxis, pigeons flying, and iconic buildings.

Yelp
Came here for Monday dinner for a group of 8. It's hard finding one that can accomodate us in a short notice. They needed a $15 deposit per person which came out to $15.5 on my credit card (Denver online fees?) It was spacious inside with modern clean decor. The online menu said the mains are meant for sharing while the in-person printed menu didn't. I kinda made my table eat family style. We ordered: 2 bread & butter, 2 famers salad, 2 carrots, 2 potatoes, white pie, sausage pepper pie, lemon roasted chicken, salmon, steak, and clams. Their menu is small so it was an easy decision to get all four mains and some apps. The bread was a bit messy to eat considering the stiff crust. The garlic butter was tasty tho. The ajo blanco in the farmer's salad was a pleasant surprise. I didn't know what it was while eating it but found it interesting. The chili oil in the carrots were spicier than expected. The potatoes had a nice crunchy crust. The two pizzas were too dry too rough and too tough. The white pie had a nice bright sweet lemon touch which makes it more palatable. The sausage pepper pie wasn't special but we just chose it for the meat. Chicken felt a homey with the salsa but could be slightly more tender. Salmon tasted a bit funky not sure if because of the sauce. Steak was my favorite main. Their arugula is fresh and came in big mounds hiding the steak beneath. Amused by that presentation. The clams was the most disappointing because it had a thick shell with very little meat (size of my fingernail??) We ordered one of all the desserts: cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake, peach tart, chocolate chip cookies None of them particularly appealed to me. They're classic but missing finesse. It didn't necessarily have a homey vibe either. Maybe I was too full which didn't help. If I had to choose then maybe the chocolate chip cookie or peach tart was better. Overall the foods had an interesting twist but not necessarily executed the best. The non-food aspects added a lot of points. Appreciate the servers' attentiveness in refilling our water, changing our plates and utensils three times throughout the night. Not sure if intentional but the plates were a different color each time and was consistent across the whole table. One person in our group had nut allergy and the server was diligent about letting her know which items she can or cannot eat and trying to separate nuts on the side when possible.

Yelp
Husband and I enjoyed our meal here on a cozy Sunday evening. Our server was very attentive and great with recommendations. Highlights were the pizza which was super flavorful with just a tiny bit of heat to it, meatballs with the smoothest whipped feta sauce and the creative curry butter that went with the sourdough. We ordered a dessert that seemed a bit confused so that was a miss. Overall we enjoyed our evening here. If you're looking for a cute date night spot that has great service and is quiet enough you can hear each other talk this is a great place to go!

Yelp
Got dinner on a weekday night, and had a reservation made but we didn't get any acknowledgment from the staff upon arrival and even after bringing it up to the hostess, it still took a bit to get seated. I understand it's a popular place but I believe there were others that came after us that got a table before we did. Anyways, we finally got seated on the second floor and we ordered the mushroom pizza, grilled cauliflower, and some type of salad I forgot the name of but the waitress was nice enough to come by and tell us that it can be a bit tough to eat as the vegetables sort of get knotted sometimes. Overall, everything was pretty good, the service after being seated was better than expected for this type of establishment and I love the touches of ensuring all the dishes come out in order and the table is cleaned off before the next course. I think this is a great place for date night or a dinner with friends but the wait can be long and getting seated requires a level of aggressiveness. Would definitely come again as the menu seems seasonal and the flavors/ingredient pairings are unique!

Yelp
I'm so glad we stumbled across this place on our quest to find good pizza in Denver. It's located on Larimer street in a really up and coming part of RiNo. It's a small but well designed space. I would definitely make a reservation for weekends as it gets packed, quickly. We ordered the apricot and fennel salad, the mushroom pizza, and a side of corn. The salad was very unique and bursting with flavor - so if you want something bit different from the ordinary, give it a try! The pizza and corn were great as well! Didn't have room for dessert so ordered the cheesecake to go!! :). Really happy with this place and plan to be back soon!

Yelp
My husband and I shared a lovely meal at the Greenwich. The space is modern and very attractive. I especially loved the adorable squirrel wallpaper in the ladies' room. The service was wonderful, very attentive and thoughtful. I absolutely loved Bonita Applebum cocktail, I wound up having three! We shared the hamachi crudo as an appetizer. It was so fresh and citrusy, while the touch of chili (or something slightly spicy) was perfection. The sourdough dumplings were quite good, but my husband's short rib was out of this world- I had a few bites. We had a really lovely evening here and would love to come back.

Yelp
We had a fantastic dinner at Greenwich. Went for my wifes bday on a weds and the place was hoppin. We sat at a table in the middle of the downstairs area and the service was great. Our waitress gave us some great suggestions. Cocktails were good and bottles of wine were relatively affordable. We ordered 2 apps, 2 veggies, and a main between the two of us, plus bread. Started with the charcoal tuna and salt crusted beets with goat cheese. The beets were nice and lemony on a bed of whipped goat cheese. So damn good. The tuna was nice seared slices with croutons. Also good. We then got braised greens and roasted broccoli rabe with nduja. The braised greens were fine but the broccoli was just sensational. Highly recommend. The addition of nduja was brilliant. Definitely going to steal that idea. Finally we got the chicken. It was a huge dish with a variety of cuts. It was cooked to perfection and included kumquats, blistered tomatoes, shaved fennel, and all kinds of other goodness. Highly recommend. For dessert we got the cheese cake, which they're known for. Its essentially a basque burnt cheese cake with olive oil and sea salt. It was cooked to perfection, and the olive oil was super high quality. We will definitely be back with friends. Plus the menu changes all the time which is the best part.

Yelp
We were so busy celebrating my bday and my father's I forgot to take pictures however I had to write a review still because it was great. Food was delicious I recommend the Short Ribs (my favorite) however everything was great. Perfect for a dinner with friends, family or a great date night. They have small dishes and large dishes that are perfect for sharing. We ordered almost all the small plates and no complaints here. We also ordered the dumplings (I personally wasn't a huge fan) and short rib as well as the chocolate mousse cake for dessert.

Yelp
Not only is the food good, but the service is impeccable. We were able to get a seat at the bar and the 2 bartenders were incredible offering help with our food and drink choices. Order the pizza with honey it was so yummy.

Yelp
What a wonderful last meal in Denver! It seems their menu changes based on produce availability and seasonality so I'm excited we got to try what we did! You absolutely can order a little bit of everything and it's all served family style. The staff does a wonderful job of making sure everything comes out with enough time between dishes. Don't sleep on the pies - it seems off for the kind of restaurant but it was absolutely amazing! We were impressed with every dish we tried, especially all the different vegetable dishes. The vibes in here were great with everything being a 10 from the staff to the decor to the food.

Yelp
Pretty much a fun place to hang out at plenty of wine bottled beer, and good food. My wife and I came here for lunch/dinner. We found it would be a very fun place to hang out.

Yelp
One of the best new(ish) spots in Denver. Relaxed vibes, great patio setup, solid cocktails, and a seasonal menu that always has a surprise or two. Make sure to get the Bread & Butter (no, seriously) and pizza!

Yelp
I have been to many of the cities best fine dining restaurants and I must say the Greenwich is the best hidden gem in downtown Denver. The bread and butter was divine, just get it. You won't be sorry. We also had the beet salad Which blew my mind and is the best salad I've ever had in my life hands-down. Swear on my mama. We also had the steak and pasta entrées which were fabulous. Right down to the charred vegetables on top of the steak. We also tried two of the vegetable sides that were both delicious as well. And we topped it off with the cheesecake which was excellent. Literally they don't have a bad dish on the menu. I will be back to try their new spring menu ASAP. The staff is all very great and attentive. Our server whose name we never actually got near the menu very very well and was available during the entire evening. The only thing that I couldn't give a stupendous review for is the entrance. I tried two times and still didn't get a right and a staff member let me in the side door. I will never forget where it's at again though. They have very smart decor in the restaurant! A very nice deep blue wall and pretty lighting throughout. A place you can impress anyone at.

Yelp
Came here for a dinner on Friday night, seems like it is the spot in town, as I couldn't book an earlier dinner time than 8:30, and even with a reservation, I had to wait a little bit. When we arrived, I think it was pretty clear we were waiting to be seated but the host and the hostess at the front didn't acknowledge us until I explicitly asked to be seated, and they acknowledged other patrons around us first even though they did not have a reservation. The host did not seem welcoming at all in general. It's disappointing that tainted the visit as the food was good and our waitress was fantastically attentive, kind, and did a great job of explaining all of the specials and the plates.

Yelp
So. Much. Grease. Both on the pizza and on the smashed sweet potatoes aka popizze (which seemed to just be triple fried balls of dough). Also, my stomach was in extreme pain after eating here (I think due to all of the grease). While the pizza was good, everything was just so insanely overpriced. Also the waitress tried to push us to order way more food than was necessary - one appetizer and one pizza for two people was plenty and even with just that and a drink each, we ended up spending $100.

Yelp
One of my new favorite restaurants in Denver. Food is high-quality and delicious--I've already sent a few friends their way. Located on a bustling street in RiNo, so perfect pick for a fun night out. Decor is chic. There are also lots of veggie and seafood options, which I appreciated. Menu rotates often. I will be back again soon!

Yelp
We were really excited to eat here as it has been so highly rated and talked about, but honestly we left so disappointed and felt scammed for how much we paid. Burned bread entree. $17 for a side of potatoes, $44 for short rib with no sides, $17 for a cocktail that tasted like juice. $220 for two people and one of the main entrees was pizza. I know it's set up as family style but even then, the prices aren't sustainable. Especially because there are so many better places to eat in Denver. I want to note the service was impeccable, it's just the food isn't close to the best I've had in Denver and the prices for what we got just felt wrong. We left feeling extremely silly.

Yelp
I'm coming out of the gates swinging...first of all if a chef drives from New York to Denver with sour dough starter between his knees so he can protect it and for it not to get cold....this dude is serious about food. I had the class and some of that sour dough bread to suck up the Jus....wow. my Gal had what she called "the best roasted chicken I've ever had...I'm eating vegetables that I don't know what they are." The dude is a pro....service was exceptional. We all judge yelp in different ways. For me it's a rarity to give 5 stars. I love it when restaurants have a smaller menu. It's basically them telling you "Here is what we do and we kick ass at this." 100% true. We have a lot of places in Denver and love to try new spots. But we can't wait to get back here.

Yelp
OMG. If I could give Greenwich 6 out of 5 stars, I would. This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants in Denver (maybe the country) and I've already been here 3-4 times since it opened. Every dish and cocktail on the menu is artfully crafted, and I'm obsessed with the flavors they flaunt. Street parking in this part of RiNo can be a challenge depending on time of day, but worth it. At first I rolled my eyes because the chef requires ONE food order placed per table (can't order appetizers THEN entrées) but I don't question the process anymore. Get one of the many delicious cocktails (they're all good) while you're waiting. I've tried these dishes and can't wait to go back to check the other menu items off my list: * Bread w/ delicious spreads - Bring more people to get one of each spread. Even the "simplest" cheese or tomato spreads are mouthwatering. * Potatoes w/ nduja mayo - Super filling side dish with unique-tasting mayo. Honestly I got it because I'd never heard of "nduja" before. * Clams - I could literally drink the garlic sauce. My favorite dish. Looks like they've since taken it off the menu, but I hope it comes back! * Meatball pie w/ lamb - All their pizzas are perfectly flavored and taste great the next day. Our waitress had on-point recommendations. * Grilled fish - Love the textures of both the protein and stew. They just know how to prepare and season seafood here! Service is always fantastic. Whether you sit at the bar or one of the many types of tables, walk-in and check-out Greenwich Denver! Happy hour is addicting. Bring friends to share everything family-style. Great balance of protein and vegetables throughout the meal. Love the ambiance that's perfect for dates and business dinners, too! Would love to plan a special event here and show it off.

Yelp
This is a GREAT spot to go with a group (they attest multiple times on their menu that everything is better when shared). Make a reservation ASAP! Chic interior with NYC inspired decor and menu items. The drinks were spectacular and the wine list was thorough but not overwhelming. Sadly they were out of the olive knots so for starters we had the bread and butter (delicious) and the shaved brussels salad (the labneh is surprising and delightful!) Mains included the meatball pie (spice level had a nice kick) and the white pie from the specials menu. It came with charred broccolini on each sliver that was divine and cut through the richness of the other ingredients. The lemon roasted chicken was so tender and flavorful I could have eaten the entire plate by myself. And for veg they had a special cauliflower dish that was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Everything was wonderful and I already can't wait to go back!

Yelp
The happy hour was great! My husband and I had the calzone, meatballs, and kale chips. We returned a week later!

Yelp
Excellent dining experience for two. Our waitress was super professional and had some great menu recommendations. Everyone on staff took the time to make sure we had a great experience, and those little extra gestures added up to a 5.5 star experience for us. I have literally been thinking about their Margherita pizza for weeks since eating there!!! This is the most flavorful, perfect pizza I've had outside of Italy. Just superb. If you are local I highly recommend working the pizza into your order, either as a starter or a main, so you can take some home for later (that is, if you can resist eating it all right away...). The shareable plates were unique and delicious. We did not leave a single bite. If you are averse to overly sweet desserts, go after the cheesecake--yum! I cannot wait to come back and try everything on the menu!

Yelp
Wow. Went with a group of six so we got to try a lot of food and not one thing was disappointing. We started out with the bread and butter which seems basic but the butter is a green mixture of goodness and the bread is definitely homemade. We also got the olive knot and the flavor is indescribable. The charred prawns were packed with flavor. We ordered two pizzas- the meatball and the margherita. I'm not sure what or how they are making their dough but anything bread related was to die for. The pizza, while expensive was worth the not so ordinary tasting Za. We were all blown away. Entrees we got lemon roasted chicken, swordfish, and the anchovy steak. We had the carrots, thrice baked potatoes and creamed spinach for sides. It seems vague to say they were all incredible but-they all were just that. Seems like you can't go wrong with ordering here. Our server Michael was pleasant and prompt at getting our food and drinks out. We had an amazing dinning experience and I highly recommend taking a group of friends here to share as much food as possible. The ambiance is perfect with dim lights and good music. You can also make a reservation which is always a plus in Denver.

Yelp
Easily one of the best restaurants in Denver for fresh, flavorful, American food that transports you to Manhattan with more square footage for a night. Really cool ambiance that makes you feel like you're in another city. When every gastropub in town is bright with light woods and Edison bulbs, The Greenwich goes for dim lighting, industrial fixtures, and New York vibes. It brought me back to nights hanging out in NYC, but with the spacious comforts of being in Colorado. White pizza. Amazing. Fennel side. Different but memorable. Swordfish. Perfectly cooked with beans anyone will like, even people who don't like beans. Cucumber salad. Exactly what you want from a NY-style restaurant with tons of flavor. Perfect for a birthday or special date night. Great service and cool vibes everywhere.

Yelp
My friend was getting a cold the day we went but Greenwich charges $50 for a changed reservation. So we went. Small table by busy waitresses. If there is a next time I would ask for a different table. We split a gin cocktail which they served in two glasses for us - very nice! white pizza very was fine but not worth the price. Caesar salad was absolutely horrible. We should have sent it back. WILTED LETTUCE with a dressing that didn't have much flavor. Chocolate brownie torte was fine. Expect to pay a lot for mediocre food and ambience. Not looking forward to going back there again.

Yelp
I'll preface by saying that 3 stars might seem rough but, honestly, for the price, it was OK. Given that their main thing appears to be pizza, there are better places you can go in town for pizza (e.g., Redeemer, Cart Driver). We ordered the white pie and the mushroom pizza. Both were decent, although the mushroom pizza lost all structural integrity due to the weight of the toppings. The white pie was also good but slightly overwhelming in certain flavors. It came with a hot sauce to, I assume, break up the richness, but I think maybe 2% of Denverites would have been able to eat that hot sauce without breaking a sweat. I might be one of them but it just wasn't a pleasant accompaniment. Maybe a hot honey? I don't know. The beet salad was the best thing we ordered, although it was a small portion for $16. My beet-hating husband loved it, so I'd consider ordering it even if you're not a beet person. The coal roasted tuna was fine - they didn't mess with the fish too much. It was a decent portion. Could've used another crunchy element but if you like tuna, you'll probably like this dish. $9 for a hunk of bread (not a big hunk either) and a smear of butter is ridiculous. Just put it on the table, guys. The butter was SOOOO full of raw garlic that my friend's eyes started to water. They somehow ruined both the garlic and the butter. All the same, the bread was very good. The charred brussels were also good but between the horseradish and the Calabrian chili, you could hardly tell you were eating brusselsprouts. Also, the portion was comically small for $16. The weird sleeper hit on this menu is the Baked Alaska - not something you've seen on a menu in ... decades. It was a really fun dessert, and unlike the other courses, it's Giant. It was a soft cake topped with a prickly pear mousse, covered in a beautiful meringue and toasted like a marshmallow. The whole thing was topped with a citrusy granita that broke up the creaminess. (See photo below). The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed eating it and talking about it. We ordered the cheesecake also and it was fine. A bit overly fluffy and without the dense richness that you'd want in a cheesecake. if you're picking between the desserts, certainly order the Baked Alaska. There are many places to eat in Denver so while I'm glad we tried this place, it's doubtful I'd come back. If you want pizza, just go to Redeemer. Service and ambiance are all excellent. Note - they add a 5.5% 'living wage' charge to all bills.

Yelp
The service is impeccable, all their food is delicious, and I love the variety on the menu. My favorite place in town!

Yelp
Stopped in last night for dinner with my son. I guess I don't get to this area of Larimer too often because it felt brand new to me. I had made reservations and we were seated promptly. I didn't have any trouble parking. The space is welcoming and the patio outside is so cute. We sat outside enjoying the weather. Our server was attentive and walked through the menu for us. We ordered the bread and butter app which was okay but nothing special for $9. We ordered a Margherita pizza with pepperoni. The pie was good. Thinner crust, crispy pepperoni and perfect cheese. I would come back try some other pizzas, they look good too!

Yelp
I go here at least once a month. They are changing their menu often and I'm so glad they do so I can try all of their new creations! Their market fish is always seasoned incredibly and out of this world, so you can never go wrong no matter what fish it is! Same with potato's- the other day they were in a lemon olive tapenade, but just few months prior they were in a delicious and flavorful aioli! The one constant, though, is their cheesecake. So soft and drizzled with olive oil! One of my favorite places in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Uuuf what a dinner! At first it was tough to convince my husband to check this out. The menu didn't seem "interesting" to him but we randomly ended up here with friends and we loved it. I love the family style idea. Definitely better with a big group, if it was just me and my husband, we wouldn't have been able to try so many things, my favorite were thrice-cooked potatoes, Roasted carrots, Smoked salmon and Bread and butter. All the flavors were so good! Fantastic drinks, great service. We sat outside on the patio, very nice and you're able to talk. Most places in RiNo are very loud but this place is perfect. I'll have to return for brunch!

Yelp
This review is only for their drinks!! Came here for drinks and they were outstanding! Ambience is cozy yet classy and service is phenomenal. The theme of this place is Greenwich village, New York! I loved the interiors - so many plants everywhere, makes it so much more cozy! Definitely romantic ambience and perfect for date night! Based on our servers recommendation, I opted for the lime out the door cocktail and it was sooo good! Unusually tasty and Potent (wink emoji)! The seaport drink was really nice too. Their menu seemed more inclined towards seafood so I know we definitely have to come back to have dinner here soon. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Stopped by the Greenwich to try their new menu (Greenwich 2.0) which features food with Italian flavor profiles. They already were serving some of the best pizza in town, so adding other Italian dishes was just a natural progression. the roasted chicken piccata was a winner, but the Jersey Ernie's meatballs served on brown butter polenta was a home run! Perfect meatballs , not too hard, not too soft and the red sauce (gravy) was superb as well. Don't miss the many delicious sides and the famous Greenwich cheesecake. Priced right too. Cocktails are to die for, Amalfi Coast.

Yelp
2 stars strictly on the desserts (more below) 5 for service. Service gets 5 stars. Staff was super attentive and even though they didn't warn us of the size of the desserts, they were still really on it. Ordered the rhubarb mock tail and it was really good, nice and tangy if you're into that. So we were killing time before heading to the airport and stumbled upon this very lively restaurant. We didn't really look at the menu, we should have, we just wanted dessert. Their dessert menu was "ok" nothing really jumped at us. We ordered the dark chocolate cashew mouse and the tahini semifreddo. To keep it short, both were gross. The flavors didn't go at all. Super disappointing.
