"A MICHELIN-Star pub known for its traditional Sunday roast." - Andrew Young
"The Harwood Arms in Fulham is about as close as you can get to being an upmarket restaurant while still being a pub. It’s on a little street that feels more Cotswolds than city. Once inside, you’ll find neutral walls, deer antlers, sophisticated furniture, and a posh 1920s bar that we absolutely cannot picture Peggy Mitchell standing behind. You can expect dishes that are a touch European but with a big focus on British ingredients—like a lasagna of rabbit shoulder, apple parfait with shortbread, and plenty of things involving fresh game." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, sinead cranna
"Don’t be offended if your dog immediately sets up camp with the closest strangers at this excellent pub. The Harwood Arms serves one of the best Sunday roasts in London and some all-round 10/10 meat and fish dishes, and we’d probably go beg at a stranger’s feet for a bite of the lemon sole, too. This place is more of a sophisticated Fulham restaurant than a sticky boozer, so it might not be the best option if your pup is prone to a serious case of the sillies or a whole lot of barking." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna
"The Harwood Arms is a pub at heart, so bar snacks are a must: munch on homemade crisps or a venison Scotch egg while you peruse the menu with a pint. The cooking at this pub may be highly accomplished, but it still does what pub food does best: leaves you feeling eminently satisfied. The menu is British to the core and the owners supply much of the deer and game, while their roof garden provides tomatoes, radishes and strawberries. Well-balanced dishes burst with flavour and allow each main ingredient to shine by keeping things simple." - Michelin Inspector
"Sally Abé, Head Chef of The Harwood Arms, shares her early memories of baking with her mother and the lessons learned from mentors." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team
