The 21 Best Restaurants In Culver City

"As you might have guessed from the name, The Jerk Spot serves some of the best jerk chicken in town. Their standout element is the spicy jerk sauce that comes with every order. If they sold it by the bottle, we’d buy it in bulk. And yes, we’ve asked. They also give you the option of ordering their jerk chicken with just white meat or dark meat. Whatever route you end up going, make sure you order some festival bread to go with it. We usually take our order to-go from this casual Jamaican operation, but The Jerk Spot does have a few tables inside its narrow, counter-service dining room." - brant cox, sylvio martins, garrett snyder, cathy park

17 Irresistibly Spicy Dishes in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"This two-year-old Inglewood restaurant fits the bill for anyone craving traditional Jamaican fare. While the oxtails, beef patties, goat curry, and escovich snapper are all well made, the dish to get here is the jerk chicken platter — a generous portion of peas and rice, caramelized plantains, cabbage, and chicken. Order a cold Ting soda to help offset the heat." - Cathy Chaplin

Wow! This place is a low-key spot that has the hits! I was in the area with a friend and wanted something quick and easy to eat. He recommended this place. I ordered two chicken curry empenadas (one to eat there and one for later). It was PERFECTION... fresh and hot, with a flaky light crust, the filling prepared with the perfect amount of seasoning. They were so good, I ate both of them in the parking lot! I'm still thinking about them, tempting me to brave the freeway system from Glendale to Culver City. Not expensive, very satisfying, just good food made with pride. The place was clean and smelled amazing. I haven't had Jamaican food in over two decades, but I'm not going to wait that long to come back to this establishment. If you want to support a small family business, eat some delicious fresh food, and not break the bank, this is the spot!

Google
The food is like feces. The staff don't wear disposable gloves. They pick their noses and don't wash their hands before making food. It's really disgusting. They are very hostile to people of different skin colors. Please consider the hygiene of this restaurant carefully. Cheap doesn't mean it is hygienic.

Google
Issa no for me. I ate the wings & the Pattie but the rest was better suited in the trash. I paid $30 for 5 Jerk Wings w/ Rice & Peas. Y’all, I’m not lying when I say the only thing that had flavor was the jerk sauce. This dish was Dry & Bland, lacking flavor & moisture. Aside from the jerk sauce- the only thing to bet on is the Beef Pattie. Issa no for me. A no ma’am. I tried bearing everything and just could not doing it. The steamed. Veggies were just that… steamed. The plantains were soggy, and sluggish. But I will say, I didn’t have to wait long for my food.

Google
Best tasting most authentic Jamaican food in LA. I have been to all of them as I am an old Jamaican man who only eat Jamaican food so I have to either cook it myself or buy from a jamaican restaurant. Not the best Jamaican food by a long stretch but the best in LA. Beef patties, coco bread, drops, jerk chicken, pineapple ginger juice, curry goat steam veg but I pass on the oxtail. Cut too big no beans flavor surprisingly could be better. Jerk pork sometimes. Service is just a little better than average Jamaican service

Ordered some food thought it was gonna be awesome. I've been waiting all day. It turned out to be bland tasteless, barely in a seasoning and no heat. Whatsoever. What part did you make a yawn come from? Where the Food tastes like this so I don't go. This was A. Complete complete disappointment.

Yum yuuummm😋! Popped in for the lunch specials and got the Jerk Chicken & the Fried Chicken with the Pineapple Ginger juice...sooo good! Great price, great staff and great flavor. You won't be disappointed.

Google
Oooh can’t believe I’ve passed this place so many times and today was my first time stepping inside and eating here. The food is awesome. I had garlic shrimp rice and peas steamed vegetables and plantain great value for money. Food is fulfilling hot washed it down with pineapple ginger. It’s really a treat. I had a coconut pie called garanza never heard of it before but it was really delicious. It was a mixture of coconut and brown sugar. The place is super clean and bright I sat inside and ate I will definitely most definitely be back here.

Google
Authentic Caribbean food. I order jerk salmon with rice and peas and cabbage. I also ordered a veggie patty and a fish patty, the veggie patty was so good. The prices were okay. The location is easily accessible. I like that they have a wide variety of food especially because I don’t eat meat.

Yelp
2nd time trying Jamaican food after being spoiled in Queens, NY, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the jerk chicken dark meat with rice and beans, along with a side of reggae bread and a ginger beer. The jerk chicken was mind blowing and packed with flavor--perfectly spiced with a great kick and tender down to the bone. The rice and beans complemented the chicken nicely, adding a hearty and filling touch. The reggae bread was a great choice for soaking up all those delicious sauces, and the ginger beer was the perfect refreshing drink to balance the spice. The restaurant also has welcoming staff, and it really felt like a vibrant community, with many Jamaican people hanging out, enjoying the food, and watching soccer together--such a great atmosphere! This place is one of my favorite restaurants in all of LA. If you're looking for authentic, incredible Jamaican food, The Jerk Spot is a must-try!

Yelp
I love Caribbean food to my core. This place is not on my list of places to revisit or recommend. The male chefs were helpful and outspoken upon entrance as I was beelining for the whole body snapper to which one of them expressed they did not have. He recommend the fillet and i was hesitant because i just prefer whole body fish especially from Caribbean establishment for obvious reasons - it almost always the best form. The flavor is always elevated. I conceded and ordered the jerk snapper fillet meal. The woman cashier had an unpleasant attitude and unhelpful spirit. I am used to the Jamaican women at the restaurants being very straightforward with no frills and smiles (i lived in NY for 9 years so iykyk) but her attitude was very different. I ignored it and proceeded to order. The wait was 15 minutes. The space gives off a traditional Caribbean establishment. A few tables, touches of the culture, plexi dividers around the counter leading towards the kitchen to prevent germs and such from customers and subtle reggaeton playing. I opened my food immediately when i got into the car because hunger. The rice lacked any track of coconut milk, bay leaves, thyme or even salt. I make better rice and peas by far. The veggie mix was cabbage carrots and broccoli (rarely have an ever had that within any of my Caribbean meals) all which had a crunch to them as in they were not cooked down and very flavorless. Not even salt. The snapper though saucey did not taste like jerk at all. No fresh herbs remnants, just a hint of pepper spice. It was the worst jerk snapper meal I've had. It just lacked flavor across the board.

Yelp
I was craving Jamaican food and found this place on Yelp. It had good Yelp ratings so I decided to give it a shot. The jerk chicken is tasty and juicy. The rice and plantains were delish too. The highlight was definitely their beef patty and curry patty! So crispy and stuff with filling. I'll definitely go back just to have the patties alone as a nice snack. We ate in the restaurant. They have 3 tables and most of the customers did take out. It was cool to see all the decorations related to Jamaica.

Yelp
A simple place in a strip mall sandwiched between Del Taco, Toms and Wendy. But there is nothing simple about this gem.The jerk chicken and ox tails were excellent as were the sides of cabbage rice and beans and plaintains. The patties were flaky flavorful. The place is the real deal.Check them out.

Yelp
Pretty good Jamaican food with reasonable prices, definitely would order to go since it's quite small there. They have jerk sauce to buy super worth it ! The boneless white meat jerk chicken is my go to and the salmon salad super yum
google avatar

Yelp
I thought the curry chicken was just alright pretty watery maybe the Jerk items are much better. I also think at the prices they charge they can't justify serving in a styrofoam to go box for dine in.

Yelp
Loved the spices at this spot! They had a special on Friday when I went - the chicken and potato salad was only about $10. I ordered an extra side of reggae bread for about $5 and it was delicious. I ate inside to get the full experience but it seemed most people picked up. It might be because the parking lot is shared and a bit small. That said, because most people order to go, there were a lot of open spots. The inside seating had enough for about 8-10 people. I didn't see this as an issue because the store was also small. There was one Jamaican family that I spoke to and they were surprised I could eat the food because it is so spicy. They said that it was their favorite spot and they drove all the way from Palmdale to pick up dinner. I loved how the spices enriched the chicken. Reggae bread was my absolute favorite and I will be back to try the other items.

Yelp
I hadn't had much exposure to Jamaican cuisine (with the exception of jerk chicken years ago), and I was keen on trying the food again. I ordered a plate of oxtail stew with rice and beans and plantains, as well as a chicken curry patty and sorrel drink. I ordered to-go and picked it up at the establishment. The restaurant is small, with maybe three or so tables inside; I figure most customers just order to-go or delivery. The sorrel drink was my favorite: cold, zesty, and refreshing, especially on a warm day. The chicken curry patty was pretty good, with a hearty crust and a filling with a decent spicy kick; I only wished there was more filling inside. Oxtail plate was massive, enough to fill three meals: the meat was tender and fall-off-the-bone: however, it was extremely salty and the rice and beans were bland. Wasn't my favorite of the three items I got, but I appreciated the portions. Overall, decent establishment for some Jamaican food. Maybe I'll try the jerk chicken sometime!

Yelp
Favorable Thoughts: - The jerk chicken was amazing and reasonably priced (I think the jerk chicken meal is around $15 dollars?) I recommend! It had a nice kick to it for anyone who likes spice. - The plantains are also very delicious. They have a beautiful amber color. Unfavorable Thoughts: - I got a half jerk chicken-go half oxtail plate and a side order of plantains. The total was $40.50. I have a really hard time justifying this price for the portion size I received. - Oxtail: It was very underwhelming and seriously not worth the $30 I paid for it to be on my plate. - Service: They're busy, I get it. I just wish I received a more accurate estimate of how long my order would take. I called ahead and even showed up later than when the order was expected to be done and I still had to wait a bit for the food. They just take the orders and they have a business to run so I don't expect them to go all out with the service. Other Thoughts: - The shop has maybe around 4 tables to dine in. It's probably not ideal for huge groups. - The place is well decorated with photos taken with people embedded into the ceiling. The decorations showed pride in their culture and I really liked it! Overall: - I really can't justify the price I spent for the portions I received as a broke college student so I don't think it's an ideal place to frequent for people in a similar position as me. There are other reasonably priced dishes aside from what I ordered, I wouldn't say the entire place is overpriced. - Even though I wasn't the biggest fan of this experience, I would still advocate for supporting small POC businesses over some random franchise. It was still a solid place and I can see why people would enjoy the place - it just wasn't for me. - Do you see these pictures? The food looked so bomb on camera!

Yelp
There's beef pattie, chicken pattie, and veggie pattie. I got one of each. I had had jerked meat before, fish, once, in New Jersey visiting family near 9/11 a while back. Now I have been to The Jerk Spot only once and it is a fine Black-owned establishment and all three patties were delicious and I wish I had gotten a plate. But we ended up going to Smitty's nearly next door for some fried oysters, fried red snapper, and collard greens before that Smitty's closed down for good. So, the Jerk Spot's delicious patties were then only our appetizers but they sure we're tasty. And I look forward to figuring out which Jamaican foods to indulge in in the future, especially with the help of other Yelpers' reviews.

Yelp
The Jerk Spot is very cool spot in Culver City. The costumer service was really good and the restaurant itself is ok not sure if I would eat inside cause it's bit tight but none the less a good looking place. I want to first talk about the island mango, one of the best drinks I had in a very long time the flavor from it was insane and couldn't get enough. Would go back to by this alone. The Jerk chicken meal was really good the chicken was so tender and seasoned really well. When you put the extra sauce on it makes you feel complete. I enjoyed it a lot would also recommend. This was the first Jamaican patty I've ever eaten and it was really good. Had great texture and decent flavor. The beef inside definitely could have been seasoned a bit more but overall really good. 4.5 stars out 5 easily

Yelp
Let's keep yelp real!!! Good local spot to grab a hearty Caribbean meal. Always plenty of food and always tasty. I usually get the same items jerk chicken entree and the oxtail entree. The protein is well cooked the oxtail was tender and well seasoned, the chicken crispy and spice, plantains are delicious, rice and beans are well rice and beans. The customer service is good, not too much seating available, and unfortunately the prices have gone up significantly over the last 4-5 years. I used to pay about $35-$40 now it's around $55-$60. The value is not quite there like before.

Yelp
So I wanted to try a new Jamaican restaurant and my meal just missed the mark. I decided to Uber eats from the Jerk spot and I ordered the jerk chicken boneless white meat meal along with some patties. The beef patty was flaky but fell flat with the spice and flavor. Now the jerk chicken wasn't what I expected. I was expecting smoked jerk flavored boneless breast pieces and I got thin chicken breast strips with jerk seasoning...(the side sauce was not good) I think that's where I messed up. I shouldn't have ordered the boneless chicken because the pictures of the jerk chicken look like it's smoked. The rice needed more seasoning and so did the cabbage. Maybe they had an off night but life is too short to be unimpressed by meals.

Yelp
The Jerk Spot, located on the edge of Culver City, is a gem for those seeking authentic Jamaican flavors. This cozy eatery offers a culinary journey with its signature dish, the jerk chicken. The chicken is marinated in a blend of traditional spices and slow-cooked to perfection, resulting in tender, juicy meat that falls off the bone. The spicy kick of the jerk seasoning is balanced by the smoky char from the grill, creating a symphony of flavors that dance on the palate. The plantains served alongside are a sweet counterpoint to the spicy chicken. Fried to a golden brown, they are caramelized on the outside with a soft, creamy interior, making them an irresistible side dish that complements the bold jerk flavors. But the true star of the show is The Jerk Spot's jerk sauce. This secret concoction is a fiery blend of spices that packs a punch without overwhelming the senses.

Yelp
I first tried Jerk Spot during the Hollywood strike in 2023. Someone came by and donated a huge box of Jamaican patties at the Amazon Studios site in Culver City for the ones walking the line. What a generous gift as they not only fed the walkers but it was also a big hit! The person who bought them made sure we knew it was from the Jerk Spot. He was not affiliated with them, he just loved their food. Stopped by the restaurant months later to grab some patties. It is a small restaurant on a strip mall on Venice. Ample free parking on the lot. The curry chicken and beef patties were just as delicious as the time when I first- crispy pastry with very flavorful and seasoned filling. Now, I admit, this post is an initial review and I intend to update this shortly. When I grabbed the patties to go, I saw some dishes that I want to try, especially the oxtail with rice and plantains!

Yelp
Whenever I finish a long workout, I crave a no-frills, stacked, soul-fulfilling plate. No need for flash, glitz, or glam. Just give me some bomb food. And that's exactly what The Jerk Spot provides. The jerk chicken. Yes. The pieces have perfectly crispy skins and tender, fall-off-the-bone meat. And the jerk sauce provides an authentic, flavorful, and necessary kick. This meal hits. Hard. The service is also super quick and efficient. And the food is very well priced. Bang for buck spot for sure. I will absolutely be back. Need to try the curry goat next time!

Yelp
I came here to get a small bite. After looking over the menu and the exorbitant prices , I decided on plantains , 5.47 for 8 small little round pieces !!!! The oil they were cooked in was old and needed to be changed. After eating 2 pieces I decided to just take my loss and throw it out. When they first opened I had their ox tail and it was ok and it was just ok. I don't recommend the place because the food quality to cost does not compute.
google avatar

Jetrina M.

Yelp
The food here is delicious and the portions are huge. I ordered the dark meat plate that came with 4 pieces of chicken for ~$15. Also ordered a side of reggae bread for $4 and beef Patty for $4. Everything tasted great and the jerk chicken had a bit of a kick to it. The sauce it came with was also very flavorful. This restaurant is very unassuming and located in a small shopping center in downtown Culver City. There is shared parking in the lot, though can get pretty busy. There were about 3-4 tables inside. There was one guy working the register, answering phones and plating the meals and one guy cooking. It was quite busy around 8 pm on a Friday night.

Yelp
Casual Jamaican restaurant with a pretty large menu. Service is fast which is nice, since it seems mostly takeout. I've tried the curry chicken patty and beef patty, both are good but the chicken one is better I think. The rum cake is AMAZING. I've also tried the curry chicken entree with plantain and rice, which was solid but a little lacking in flavor. Overall a solid spot.

Yelp
I was in the mood for a Jamaican hand pie. I decided to look up where I can find one. Turns out there's a spot on Venice that has them! I've driven by this place many times and finally it was time to try it out. There was plenty of parking, service was quick, and the space was clean! Lucky for me the hand pies were in a case ready to go. I got 2 and ended up saving the other for lunch (reheat well). The pie was warm, flakey, delicious, and flavorful. I tried the chicken curry pie and the beef pie. I spent a little over $10 for both which is a steal. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
google avatar

Melody W.

Yelp
I love this place. Ever since I moved to Culver City this has been one of my go-to spots to get Caribbean food. Service is good - not anything extraordinary. I'd say after you order you get your food within a reasonable time frame. Ambiance is good - right when you walk in you can see Caribbean culture all over the walls and a big map of Jamaica. Its nice! One critique I have is that they dont give enough plantains!!! I usually only get 2...i feel like 3 or 4 should be the minimum? Just me tho
google avatar

Daniel L.

Yelp
The food was really good. I ordered the oxtail plate with rice and beans, vegetables, and plantains. I also ordered a side of curry goat, and a side of dark meat jerk chicken. Last and certainly not least, the beef meat pie. Everything was delicious. Probably the best meat pie I've ever had.

Yelp
Let me tell you....ive never had a fish patty before....and I promise you I could eat one everyday of my life

Yelp
The best beef patties very favorable and nice size portions. Great service and very helpful. I'd recommend to all I know.

Yelp
Not true to the price and expensive as in the price don't compare to the food, also not enough food on the plate, patties not even hot

Yelp
I asked for kalalou, although it is not on the menu, I think. They knew what I wanted and they fried it up and they let me have it, $14. It was awesome. I think this plant is also called Amaranth. They used the greens, and the taste is very nice. Maybe delicate, like fried onions you know what I mean? Texture was soft, even though this plant is very fibrous and the stems are included, you could just eat everything, it is really great. I came back another day to order the kalalou again. And I will be back in the future to order that again. I cannot find any other place that will cook those greens for me. I also tried a salmon dish and the portion size was huge. I ate that dish for two days.

Yelp
There's so much to say, but I'm a city full of pretentious but not tasty restaurants, the Jerk Spot is a gem. Every meal runs about $15-$20 and every box is stuffed full of delicious food. Service was quick and there's a lot of cultural pride in the decor. The chicken literally fell off the bone, and was packed full of flavor along with the greens. But the real star of the show? The rice and beans. Had enough flavor to stand out on its own, but not overpower the rest of the meal. I highly recommend coming to this lovely family spot if you're looking for something different, as well as something a little spicy
google avatar

Morgan J.

Yelp
Today it keeps raining off and on and as I walked by a beef patty sounded too good to skip. I'm so glad I went in. The dough was buttery and flaky and the seasoning was perfect. It's not spicy if that's what you're looking for but I loved the flavor.
google avatar

Wil J.

Yelp
The food was delicious and very flavorful. I would definitely order from here again. Come with a good portion size as well. Yum yum

Hillel A.

Yelp
I been driving by the Jerk Spot for a long time and it always beckoned to me, calling up my stellar trip to Jamaica 25 years ago. Finally, pulled the trigger. Drove into the underwhelming strip mall and left with one order of dark and one of white with a side of vegetables and extra jerk and hot sauce. Absolutely nothing underwhelming about the chicken. Summoned up memories of the jerk chicken BBQ'd in jury-rigged steel drums and eaten on the side of the road in Montego Bay right next to carts full of the largest, stickiest bud I've ever seen. Preferred the dark over the white, but the flavors are so good if it were on the menu, I'd probably eat a jerk shoe. The ambience calls for takeout, so take care not to get a speeding ticket on the way home.:)

Yelp
This food was SO good. After a very disappointing experience at ANOTHER (not this one) Jamaican restaurant, I was so grateful for this delicious food! I had to find another restaurant because I needed to erase that terrible experience with Jamaican food away. The Jerk Spot did that! First of all, Beef Patty was amaaaazing. As soon as I opened my bag, the smell came wafting out. I couldn't even get to anything else. It screamed, "EAT MEEEEE NOW!" And I did! Scrumptious. Flaky crust. Tender and slightly spicy inside. So very flavorful. I got the roasted salmon plate. Tender flaky salmon over the rice and beans that had that authentic taste with just a slight touch of coconut after taste. Soooo good. Cabbage wasn't overdone. Veggies super fresh! And I tried the Festival bread too. It was good. I would definitely go back! Loved it.

Yelp
I've been looking for "real" patties and coco bread here in LA since I moved here from Jamaica, Queens (man, I miss Wilson's). I FINALLY found them!!! Perfect flavor and heat in the filling. Perfect flavor and flake in the shell. Perfect fluffiness and flavor in the bread. Perfect everything!
google avatar

Tae G.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place. It was just okay. I ordered curry shrimp. After looking at prior review pictures and comparing orders, there was no trace of potatoes for one. Only a few shrimp were in the plate almost as a side when usually they cover at least half of the rice and peas at most other Jamaican places, then spill over. Shrimp had a thin, watery juice that tasted more like a mild jerk spice. I saw no curry spice, color, or nothing near a thicker curry gravy. My friend ordered oxtails. They are obviously plentiful and spilling over the rice and peas as my shrimp should have. She said they were tender with a gravy-type of sauce. Rice and peas - very bland Cabbage/carrots - lacked seasoning, not enough on the plate Veggie patty - great veggie mix inside; dough was lighter in color than beef & chicken patties and hard to bite into; lacked the crispy flake that I am used to "Reggae" bread, aka festival bread - good & freshly fried Plantains - cooked well, soft and sweet Pineapple ginger juice - best thing I ordered I may stop for other items only if in the area, but will not intentionally make the 30+ drive to eat here again.

Yelp
A GEM!!!! I live in Orange County but sometimes take shifts in LA on the weekend. This is a MUST everytime I'm up there. The Patties are unmatched - literally all of them even the fish! SO GOOD!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! I have been to several Jamaican restaurants in Los Angeles and this is top 3 for sure. I definitely like that they always have beef patties which is how we finally after all these years came to try them out our normal place always runs out and I have to say the jerk spots patties ate #1 hands down the best I've had in a very long time. Everything here is great and affordable. FYI the jerk is HOOOOOT!

Yelp
I've had my fair share of Jamaican food places throughout LA, and this one definitely isn't the worst but it's basically unremarkable. I had a craving for Jamaican food and some of the other places I usually order from were either closed or too far for the sake of convenience. I ordered through DoorDash after seeing great reviews on Yelp and the food looked appealing. I wanted to try my usual favorites to compare to other places I like so I ordered the following: A curry chicken plate, a side of festival (Reggae) bread, a side of dark meat jerk chicken, and a beef patty. Curry chicken: I tend to love curry chicken because it's usually in a sauce of gravy consistency, this wasn't the case. I even asked for an additional side of the curry sauce (which was free) and it came in a dipping cup and was the consistency of water. While the curry chicken itself definitely tastes of curry seasoning, everything otherwise with regard to seasoning was lacking. Very unremarkable and nearly flavorless. Since I got an entree plate, this also came with rice & peas, cabbage, and a couple of plantains. All of which were also unremarkable, though the rice & peas may have been better if there were a usual gravy consistency to the curry sauce. A plus, though, the portions were generous and if I had loved the food, could have probably eaten this plate twice or shared with someone. Festival (Reggae) bread: Standard. Not much better or worse than what I've had in the past. Typically like to dip this in curry or jerk sauce... Meh. Dark meat Jerk chicken: This was one of the better things I had from this restaurant. The chicken was super tender and the portion for a side was also generous. Similar to the curry chicken though, the seasoning was lacking. While there was a definite heat to the chicken from the jerk seasoning, there was still a lot of room left for more seasoning to bring up the flavor. Beef patty: By far the best of the items I ordered though not good enough to go back just for the patties. Overall recommendation would be to go elsewhere. Ocho Rios Grill in Hawthorne is my favorite and remains unmatched. Second place goes to Country Style. You can definitely do better than here.

Yelp
We have been here a few times and always leave satisfied with happy tummies. Our favorites are the chicken patties, reggae bread, chicken soup, and jerk chicken. Our kids also love the food and can handle eating inside as well with the high chair they have. Nice spot, great food, and good service! This is your sign to go!

Yelp
The Jerk Salmon plate - 10/10, top notch! I can eat this plate once a week. The salmon was cooked to perfection, moist and not dry. Great seasoning on everything. Fish patties - 10/10! I didn't see any reviews on the fish patties so i didn't know what to expect but they were SO GOOD!! So flavorful, moist and delicious. I let my husband have a bite cause he was curious about what it tasted like and he was blown away. We came back a few days later just for the fish patties. So glad i finally found my go-to Jamaican spot. This is for sure the best Jamaican food I've had in LA.

Yelp
OMGGGG THIS PLACE!!! I'm sad to be back in the East coast because I still crave the food it was delicious and flavor packed, great portions, fresh, and fast service! Not to mention affordable prices. They have limited inside seating only like 4 tables.

Yelp
I am on a keto diet and have diabetes too so I keep my carb count low. I was happy with the service here cause I was able to order Brownstew chicken with just vegetables ( cabbage ) to be precise instead of rice. Cause rice is high in carbs. The service was excellent, they were able to switch out without upping the price or giving me a hard time like some restaurants do. I love it .. I ordered goat curry, have also had the jerk chicken, chicken curry, brown stew chicken etc

Yelp
I live in houston and wanted to try Cali Jamaican food to compare the differences It was not the same at all I tried the stew chicken which I always get from 2-3 different jamaican spots in houston however THE JERK SPOT stew chicken gravy was much darker and in my a opinion had more ginger taste for my liking the rice and peas were ok but not the best flavor either The beef patty was the best part of my meal

Yelp
Jamaican restaurant with tasty food and generous portions. Came here on a Saturday around 6pm to get takeout prior to a concert. I got the dark meat chicken plate with came with rice, plantains, and salad. The food was ready in less than 5 minutes after I paid. The meat was very tender and the dark sauce that came on the side was savory and very tasty. I really liked the plantains, as they were soft and sweet. There's a small shared parking lot, and street parking is also available. Credit cards accepted. It seems to primarily be a takeout spot, as the tables inside seemed to be for waiting for your order. Overall, it's a chill spot to grab some Jamaican jerk chicken for a reasonable price.

Yelp
The Jerk Spot has a wide selection of Jamaican food choices that will certainly please your taste buds. I tried the brown stew chicken, I expected a little more flavor but it wasn't too bad overall ... the service was decent and indoor/outdoor seating options are plentiful. I will give this restaurant another try the next time I'm in Culver City.

Yelp
Good food, didn't know this was a restaurant beforehand. If ur looking for a good time the title is completely misleading.
