Where to Find the Best Ceviche in NYC | Eater NY

"Demonstrating how bistros — especially those that partly concentrate on seafood — have also turned to ceviche, Leroy House in the West Village via chef David Werner offers a lively sea bass ceviche that makes an excellent appetizer, where the chunks of fish are interspersed with avocado and fresh serrano peppers, making it spicy in a restrained sort of way. But the signal achievement of this West Village restaurant lies in furnishing the ceviche with freshly fried potato chips rather than tostadas, perfect for dipping and adding an extra level of saltiness." - Patty Diez

Harwood on Hudson - Review - West Village - New York - The Infatuation

"Despite having the name of a grandparent-friendly country club in the West Village, Harwood on Hudson is actually an Italian restaurant with a 7/10 volume level and people drinking cocktails as if someone from high school had just texted them “u up?”. If you’re in your thirties and like to spend money on dates as a part-time hobby, there’s a good chance you’ll be all about this romantic, but not quite formal spot. The food is mostly good, especially the rigatoni and strawberry cobbler dessert. Harwood on Hudson will certainly work for a nicer date if you’ve got the money to spend, but there are also other places in the neighborhood we’d go to first in the same category." - Hannah Albertine

A friend lives nearby and suggested this place so we went for a primetime dinner. Although we had a reservation, it did not seem that they were managing the Customer flow effectively and we were made to wait in the crowded front area for about 15 minutes, which I find unacceptable. The room is quite lovely although it does get loud with a lot of hard surfaces, they have done a good job using the back windows to create the illusion of additional space. I had the burger for $27 which was good but maybe not $27 good. My husband had the rigatoni which he liked although for $31 the portion was kind of ridiculously small. We all started with the deviled eggs, which were quite tasty, priced at $16. Our friend had the chicken as his main course, and he loved it. Overall, the service was a bit hectic, but the serving staff was working very hard to keep up with the demand. I don’t know if I’d be rushing back to give it a second try but it’s nice to know as an option in that part of the West Village.

We went to The Leroy House for the first time tonight. It was great. They have decorated inside to feel warm and homey with old rugs and wood floors. The walls have cool photos and paintings. We ordered the Miso Cod and the Hamburger. The hamburger was amazing. Look at how tall it is in the picture. The server said that there are three cuts of beef in the burger. It comes with fries. They have a happy hour before 6 with $4 draft beers. Our service was flawless and professional. We will definitely come back. We had a great time.

Google
Dinner here was a delightful experience. The wait staff was very helpful, quick and kind. The food was delicious! We had the mussels and Leroy burger and Bolognese and was prepared to perfection. The atmosphere was just the right amount of coziness and ambience.

Google
Food was 10/10. Best calamari I can remember. The crab parts was to die for and so generous with the crab. Service was delightful. Can’t wait to return.

Google
Had a fabulous meal with friends on a weekday evening. Beautiful ambiance, and good service. We loved the spicy beef tartare, deviled eggs, and my filet was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back!

Google
This is one of the best NYC restaurant I've been to! Being a local NYer, great atmosphere, excellent service, and exquisite food for the price are the things I look for. Our waitress, Tong, was super friendly and attentive. The GM, Aaron, was sociable and made sure we were having a great time. Highly recommend this restaurant for a night to catch up with good old friends!

Google
A truly delicious brunch! Got the burger too which was gorgeous but did not photograph before eating… whoops. But always love their deviled eggs!!

Google
A lovely West Village restaurant with excellent food and drinks. More of a Mediterranean focused menu but a wide range of excellent small plates, mains, salads and deserts. Very reasonable happy hour before six with good choice of drinks and nibbles. Their roast chicken is sublime. A West Village gem. Friendly and comfortable back room and a lively bar.

Yelp
Loved this place. We made a Resy the day on a Thursday night for a party of 2 with no issues. It was packed and there were only 2 seats at the bar so I took one and waited. The bartender, Max, was so friendly and knowledgable about the drinks and and menu. He literally gave me a complete rundown of the appetizer and dinner menus while I waited for the rest of my party and it was so helpful in determining what I choose for dinner. He also makes a great drink! I had the PearFection and it literally was perfection. So tasty and spicy just the way I like my cocktails. We sat at our table in the corner in the back and it was so cozy and intimate. The dinner floor isn't very large but they've managed to fit a good amount of tables in the small place but you still have a feeling of privacy. Now on to the food. We had the crispy calamari and spicy steak tartar. I really liked the aioli that came with the calamari. The tartar wasn't very spicy but it was tasty. For dinner, we ordered the pan roasted branzino and the mezzi rigatoni. I must have been really excited for dinner because I forgot to take pics. :) The branzino was tender and the soup was nice. The rigatoni was very al dente but tasty. A great dinner overall.

Yelp
Was really enjoying dinner here and shared my praise with the waiter. He then said, well, unfortunately, we're closing next week. I was hungry when I dined here. Excellent bucatini and what I'd imagine was black cod. Sad to lose this restaurant, though I don't repeat restaurants.

Yelp
On a crisp fall Thursday night, we had a reservation for two in the dining room that looked out into their lit garden. Food: - Deviled Eggs: can't go wrong with this - Charred Spanish Octopus: perfect balance of tender meat with crispy edges and paired well with the chickpea purée - Mezzi Rigatoni: too salty - Long Island Duck Breast: duck was cooked perfectly, maitake mushrooms added the crunchy texture, and celery root purée was flavorful though it was a little too rich after a couple dips with the duck Overall, a cozy old school vibe that gets pretty loud as the tables are close together. Service was well paced and staff was patient when we asked questions. Food is on the pricier side for the portion however the quality is definitely there. It seems like the menu changes so I may be back to try something different!

Yelp
Enjoyed our dinner at the Leroy house. Cozy dining room, interesting cocktails and tasty food. What else can you ask for? Oh, and service was excellent. Overall a great experience and we will be back for more!

Yelp
It's always hard to find reservations for a group of 5 so it was fortuitous that there were so many options at the Leroy House. It serves a New American menu. The interior was beautifully decorated with a whole wall dedicated to a flower display. I had the penicillin cocktail. The five of us split the steak tartare and the calamari, and each got our own entree. They seemed to enjoy the skate and the clams with linguine. I got the chicken which had a perfectly cooked skin. The meat itself had a texture that I wasn't as used to. I don't know how to describe it but I ended up eating it all and didn't have a stomachache later so I'm sure it was cooked to the right temperature. We shared the apple crisp and the chocolate dessert. In summary, a good option if you need a resy for a bigger group. The food was simple. But I was not wowed.

Yelp
It is such a cozy ambiance inside (although I sat right by the entrance). I didn't know what to expect for food but the two entrees (sea bass and duck) we ordered were great - crispy where it needed to be, buttery, juicy. The dessert (apple crumble) didn't really hit but that's fine.

Yelp
It wasn't mentioned there would be only holiday menu when I booked for new year eve dinner. It wouldn't be my choice if I knew. Even they allowed us to order a la carte, option was very limited. We could only order items were on their pre fix menu for the night. We had to double some of the appetizers and entrees. We over heard other tables were talking about the same thing. We had party of five. They just add a chair to the end of a four top, which was super cramped. Food was way too salty and portion was so small. I wouldn't mind order more if food was tasty. Service was on the slow side.

Yelp
Hats off to Lara, the friendliest, smiliest server this side of East River. May all your dreams come true, you delightful lady! In other news, the pasta here is better than many Italian restaurants. The Mafaldine Bolognese is the stuff of curly dreams, and the Fettucine with crab, sea urchin and hot peppers is just scrumptious. If you need more to round out your meal, definitely get the Seared Lamb Belly, which comes in a unique sauce that plays with your tongue. The only downer was our Blood Orange Margarita mocktail, which was too tart. Next time, mix it with simple syrup, sugar or a sweeter juice to balance it out. Ambience-wise, this is the spot to bring your first date, your married date, your best friends, your frenemy, your frat boys, and your fi bros. In other words, the decor will suit almost any occasion.

Yelp
This place is really special. And somehow more kept under the radar than you'd expect. First and foremost, the vibes are amazing. It's a quaint, cozy setting. The dining room is small, but perfectly so, and with a gorgeous garden view. Just a really perfectly charming dining room. The food is excellent as is the service. We started with the calamari and grilled octopus, both of which were excellent. For entrees we went with the malfadine which was one of the better pastas we've had and would put it up against some of the best pastas from the best Italian restaurants. Chicken was great too. Jorge our server was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I currently have an obsession with mafaldine pasta and I don't know why, but The Leroy House came through in making me want even more! Located in an area that I realized I am very unfamiliar with in the West Village, The Leroy screams old school -- which is fantastic, because that's how you know it's good. The restaurant is pretty deep, and we were seated in the back which opens up into a big space! Rugs everywhere, very old school. We missed the happy hour unfortunately (4-6pm), but we went ahead and ordered the fried calamari appetizer to share, my friend got the linguini and clams, and I got the mafaldine bolognese. And everything was so freaking good!! The calamari was so fresh and they really stuffed as many as they could fit on their serving dish! The linguini and clams and the mafaldine bolognese were also on very deceiving plates--they looked like such small portions, but both were so filling! Customer service was fantastic and the ambiance was great--definitely great for happy hour, dinner, or a date! Can't wait to come back again, but especially during happy hour! Cailin's Recommendations - Mafaldine Bolognese ($28): classic meat ragu, grated Parmesan - Linguine & Clams ($30): little neck clams, crushed red peppers, clam broth, lemon zest - Crispy Calamari ($20): harissa aioli

Yelp
I had a deliceious dinner with a coworker here recently. Great apps (calamari and wings) and a delicious lamb ragu pasta. However the restaurant will be closing this Saturday, March 30, 2024. From the restaurant's email: "Thank your inquiry. Sadly we will be closing our doors this Saturday. We have lost our lease as our landlord is selling his building. Thank you for your support over the years."

Yelp
Unpleasantly surprised given a lot of positive reviews... -the restaurant had plenty of Resy availability and a fairly empty main dining room, yet they tried relentlessly to seat us next to the entrance. It was 15 degrees outside so we were going to leave, but when they saw that they offered us a seat in the proper dining area -the restaurant was very cold. Again, it was freezing outside but it doesn't justify a 60 degree room -wildly understaffed. We counted exactly one waitress for the entire restaurant. It's small but not THAT small. She was understandably way over her head, very rushed, forgot our drinks, etc -too cramped. My chair was bumped any time the waitstaff would hurriedly run by our table -food was solid but nothing special--didn't justify the rest of the experience

Yelp
We walked in on a Thursday night around 8pm and was seated outside under the heaters. They were busy but taking many walk ins! The host seemed frazzled, but got it together and was clearly trying his best. We got the roasted chicken and fettuccine, which were both impressive. I never think to get chicken but glad I got to try from here! Would recommend for an intimidate feel in a quiet area.
google avatar

Zack G.

Yelp
Trendy spot with both a dining area and bar that is packed to the brim I came here with my GF and cousin for dinner, and the place was packed! The seats are very close together as well, so it felt a little cramped and it was tough to hear To start off we all split the potato chips app, and they were pretty tasty I then had a fish dish, and I tried a bit of my GF's chicken. The fish was solid, but I was more of a fan of the chicken. The fish came with some interesting sides however, including bread pudding and bok choy. The bok choy was very tasty, but the bread pudding was just a strange addition

Yelp
I got the Crispy Duck Confit, and the meat fell right off the bone. I would also recommend the fries, which were addictive! The vibe was also very nice with pretty lights in the back.

Yelp
I'd been meaning to try The Leroy House for awhile. I finally went last night and was not disappointed! The food was delicious (eggplant, pomodoro, and chicken) and our server was friendly. I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
The Leroy House is a restaurant that I'd never previously heard of, but stumbled across on Yelp while looking for a place to eat at in West Village. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here. Both the indoor and outdoor dining here are chic. The inside of the restaurant is small, but has classic West Village charm. They had two fish dishes on the menu. We each ordered one and ate half of each. The fish options were salmon with carrots and cod with coconut rice. The food was served quickly after we ordered. Both were comforting and satisfying. I didn't have a preference between each of the fish dishes. Service was attentive and welcoming. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be a regular here.

Yelp
Alas, this restaurant has closed. The food was excellent and the restaurant was attractive. But best of all was the service.
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
I love the crispy duck confit and the bolognese here. Servers are attentive and the ambience is perfect for the location. I would come here with friends next time though it's perfect for date night too.
google avatar

Yelp
First off, this is an adorable neighborhood, and The Leroy House definitely fits the vibe with its outdoor string lights and candlelit interior. I personally prefer sitting indoors although there is also seating outdoors. It is a very nice, intimate restaurant perfect for dates (especially if you can get a corner table). Random, but the bathrooms also smelled great because of the candles they use. AND they have light music playing in the restaurant (good music selection!). We did Restaurant Week (summer 2021) here and really do believe it was worth the value. I absolutely loved the salmon entree. It was cooked perfectly and the combo of flavors with the yogurt and nuts and carrots was amazing. I also enjoyed the chopped salad appetizer and calamari. Would also recommend picking the chocolate mousse for dessert. The only thing that left more to be desired was the service speed! It took us a long time for our server to come and grab our orders when we sat down. Otherwise, those that cleared our plates and filled our waters did a great job.

Yelp
My friends and I made a reservation for a Saturday night inside. We were seated right away and started with a round of drinks. I went with the La Peruanita while my friends all ordered the Blood Orange Margarita. I loved my drink and my friends did as well. We decided to share a few oysters, the chips, and a Mafaldine Bolognese as starters. For entrée I went with the Crispy Duck Confit. Overall the food was really excellent. Everything was cooked well, ingredients are fresh tasting, and the portion size were plenty large to fill us all up. Ambiance is great! The main dining room is dimly light, but faces a large set of windows with a beautiful garden out back. The tables are not too close together either so it wasn't overly loud. Service was excellent as well. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. We never felt rushed and always had water when we needed it. Overall, the Leroy House is a great choice for dinner with friends. The ambiance, service and food made for a fun evening. Looking forward to coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food from apps to entrees, fine drinks, and even better service! The ambience is super cozy and the "secret garden" view from the back window is gorgeous! For apps I recommend the burrata and calamari, which are huge and juicy, and for entrees I recommend the filet mignon.
google avatar

Amie K.

Yelp
The food was awesome. We started with the green salad & fried artichokes- mouthwatering & healthy. Followed by the Sea Bass & The Leroy Burger. So yummy!! There is a reason we keep going back! Thank you Leroy House.
google avatar

Lunden C.

Yelp
Stopped by for a casual weeknight dinner and was very impressed. Got a small table outside and enjoyed the peaceful street and people watching. For my meal I enjoyed some Sancerre to drink that was delicious and refreshing! I decided on the Roast Chicken for my entree. As someone who considers themselves a roast chicken connoisseur, this dish blew me away! The protein was perfectly cooked, tender, savory, and the skin was so flavorful. The rue was a little bit bland, and I wish it was served with potatoes instead of turnips. However, I definitely think it's worth the order! The service here is also very prompt and polite, and they checked in often throughout the meal. Overall, I would definitely come back here for dinner or a date night! I'd love to check out happy hour here as well!

Yelp
A solid 4.5/5!! We found this place while just walking and stopped for the vibes - but we were not at all disappointed by the food. The service was good and we were able to get a table without a reservation on a Saturday. The best dish was the Lamb Belly with Fava beans - FANTASTIC! You also can't go wrong with the deviled eggs or the bolognese. They have a good wine selection. -.5 for the burrata, which was good not great. Price point is pretty high but quality of food and atmosphere make it well worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband and I had the best meal of our 20th anniversary trip to New York at The Leroy House. We're still talking about the deviled eggs, which were beautiful and so tasty. The Brussels sprout salad was very good with lots of parm on top. Our entrees were also delicious. I had the duck confit with lentils - wonderful - and my husband had the Leroy Burger with no bun. We have to do gluten free and it was no problem - lots of choices on the menu. The burger was excellent. Lastly, our drinks were delightful (and not overflavored or overpriced, which I can't say about some of the other bars/restaurants we visited on our trip). We had the Leroy and Mrs. Collins - both recommended by our lovely server. The restaurant itself was beautiful and romantic. It was the perfect way to start off our special weekend!
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoyed my experience here. The food was great (everything on the menu sounded good) and we got the bolognese and the burger of which I recommend both. The ambience is excellent and the service good too. Great spot.
google avatar

Carly M.

Yelp
Delicious food - we got the deviled eggs, steak tartar, branzino, chicken, and burger. Everything was so good. The branzino portion was a little small. Service was excellent. And the ambiance was on point. Beautiful restaurant and would definitely return!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best restaurants I've been to in NYC. We went for an anniversary dinner and the prices were expensive, but the food was so delicious. Service - We were promptly seated for our reservation - Our waiter struck a good balance between coming to check on us and giving us our space Atmosphere - We sat on the patio, and the provided little candles for a nice candlelit ambiance - There's a decked seating area with fairy light decorations and heat lamps that looked very charming - Completely full place so seems like you definitely need a reservation Food - All the small bites looked really good so we just got a bunch of those to share. It was filling enough for the two of us - Deviled egg: presentation of the deviled egg was so beautiful and the dish was delicious. Came with little bits of roe on top for added texture - Eggplant dip came with soft pita as well as a labne - so beautiful - The crab gratin was cheesy, and the taste of the crab and the artichoke complemented each other beautifully. Came with a side of crispy chips - Seared meatballs: perfect mix of nice cheese sprinkled on top, generous tomato sauce, and basil (key). Will be back the next time we're in the city!

Yelp
I would give 6/5 stars if I could. Everything was phenomenal about my experience at The Leroy House. It was easy to make an a reservation on Resy and we got seated at a good table. Service was attentive but not disruptive! Both of our cocktails were great and the burger was cooked perfectly. The miso glazed cod was also excellent. Can't forget the bread either which was tasty and a great way to start the meal. Really had a positive experience here and The Leroy House is now one of my favorites!
google avatar

Mala L.

Yelp
The food here was outstanding. We started with the burrata salad which was pleasantly different and refreshing. I'd never had burrata paired with cold butternut squash before - it really worked. Others at the table had the deviled eggs which looked fancy! I had the seared pork chop and it was thick and juicy. I don't order pork chops often because it's so easy to mess up but they did a great job here. My fiance had the crispy duck confit which I kept stealing bites of because it was so good. The steak and salmon were also a hit. Cocktails were solid, but maybe not as great as I would have expected given the high caliber of food served. The atmosphere is dark and intimate and the service was polite and attentive. We had a little mishap with seating - our reservation was for indoors, but we had received an email stating that they were only offering outdoor seating. When we arrived, we were seated outside, but noticed there was indeed indoor seating. Not a problem at all. Shortly after receiving drinks and ordering food, the hostess comes over and says she heard we were cold and offered to seat us inside (we did not complain about being cold, but nevertheless took her up on the offer. It was kind that they noticed we appeared chilly). I only bring this up because in the end, we agreed that it was much better that we enjoyed our meal inside instead of outside, especially because of the upscale nature of the food, prices, and atmosphere. This is not a casual restaurant. It was also impressive that there was no confusion with our orders even though we switched tables. Would recommend for special occasions and dates.

Yelp
Catching up on reviews from Pre-Covid times... Food: 4/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Overall: I'd come back. Food was on point in a very cute setting. The extended review... Food: Duck Confit - 4/5 - So yum! Crispy skin atop a very moist and succulent succulent duck. The rice and veggies perfectly complimented the dish. A very good rendition in my book. Ambiance: It's a cute place though a bit cozy like most places in NY. We were a bigger group and the the seating was a bit tight. Service: Standard customer service.

Yelp
I had dinner here two nights ago and really enjoyed it. We had the deviled eggs, homemade pasta, duck and cheesecake. It was all very, very good and the staff was very nice.

Yelp
Came here for HH (ends at 6pm!) and the deals are great. Got 2 for $16 rosé negroni and the fries were to die for! I would definitely return to try their main menu. The outside seating area was a bit cramped but super cute establishment they made to seat more people.

Yelp
I went to Leroy House three separate times over the span of seven days, this past summer--that's how much I enjoyed the food and my experience there. I would recommend dinner over brunch; over the countless times I've been for dinner, I have never been disappointed with any of the menu items--and I've tried them all!--with the duck being my absolute favourite. However, brunch left much to be desired, with my burger having been of good quality, but the french toast and waffles with fried chicken being a far cry from the quality that I'd come to expect from Leroy House. The service was fantastic with each experience, though--all of the servers have been so kind, and in one instance, my party and I had been sent next door to Lelabar for a round of drinks on the house just for having been asked to clear our table, when we would have completely understood, as restaurants need to turn tables! They also have a fantastic happy hour that includes light fare, as well--it's truly a gem in the neighbourhood.

Yelp
Had an amazing dinner here on a Saturday night - the vibes were perfect for a cool fall night. The food was delicious - we had a bone in pork chop and the sides that came with it were so good, we also had the Leroy burger which was juicy, tender and very flavorful which also came with the best fries - hand cut, perfectly cooked and well salted. The staff were super friendly and gave honest opinions of the menu (not simply the most expensive items - which many waiters try and sell you on). Very attentive and welcoming. Highly recommend - I know I will be back and am excited to try the new menu in the coming weeks.

Yelp
My friend and I were visiting New York and came here and let me tell you, love. First when we entered, we were asked to show our vaccination card which honestly, although this was supposed to be a state mandate, this was the only place I went on the trip where they asked. It made me feel like I was getting carded for the first time and it made me happy and completely set the tone for my night. My friend and I got two appetizers and I got three delicious Espresso Martini's which were amazing. For dinner I got the filet with fries and it was delicious. We also ended the night with a cheesecake that we shared. Such a great place with great service and food and beautiful atmosphere. This is the perfect place for girls night or a date (we sat next to the cutest couple who were on a first date).
google avatar

Amanda G.

Yelp
Wow. As good as all the other reviews. I actually want to go back to NY to go again, which I will, very soon! The pasta is to die for. Great waitstaff and nice selection from menu to try a few different things. Quaint restaurant with relaxed vibe.

Yelp
Quite a cute little cute spot! Crab & Artichoke Gratin - very good and yummy appetizer Fried Calamari - okayed Mafaldini Bolognese - SO GOOD! Probably an American pasta but it was very delicious we all enjoyed and finished every drop. Lots of meat and super flavorful but not too much. Chicken entree - also very good and tender but the portion was quite huge, got little tired eating the same thing that much. Happy Hour drinks are pretty good deal. Enjoyed the Chocolate Martini and the one with Smoked Rosemary & Gin was also delicious. Would recommend!

Yelp
Service was very good. The pork chop and buccatini were both good. Duck breast was a bit chewy and portion size was more like an appetizer. Skate wing tasted good but was also on the smaller side.

Yelp
Cozy restaurant in west village that serves the best deviled eggs I ever had! The service is phenomenal and personal, I flew in from New Orleans and booked this restaurant on Resy at a later time than they were open and I received a call from the owner whom adjusted my reservation for me. 5 star service & I will be sure to return here when I visit New York again!

Yelp
Our server, on this rainy and sort of chilly night eating outdoors, was Emily. She deserves a medal for her performance as she was constantly going back and forth between the restaurant and the sidewalk dining area in really awful conditions. Since they had barrier partitions between the outdoor tables I guess they can be a little closer together which resulted in feeling a little cramped. The food was excellent. We started with a chopped salad, deviled eggs (great) and shishito peppers. For mains we had fish: Branzino and Miso Cod for the ladies and salmon for me. All our dishes were very tasty. Another outstanding restaurant find on Hudson!

Yelp
The real superstars at this restaurant are their espresso martinis and the calamari! Oh my goodness I would literally go from Jersey to NYC any day of the week for those two things from the menu. Specifically from The Leroy House. I've dined here several times and the cocktails are always amazing, the oysters are fresh, the deviled eggs are another popular appetizer item as well. As far as the entrees go, I've only had the burger which was good. Personally, it's just not a place that I would go to for a burger since there are so many other great menu items. Honestly, I would just stick with the appetizers and the espresso martinis. 10/10

Yelp
The food was amazing. Best deviled eggs ever. Great atmosphere. Just a little expensive and it's in high demand so there's a time limit for the tables. .

Yelp
Excellent happy hour, but very limited menu. Wellfleet oysters with mignonette, horseradish, cocktail sauce. Very good deviled eggs. Nice! Friendly staff.

Yelp
I am glad I was somehow able to get a last-minute reservation for The Leroy House on Thanksgiving Weekend. It was a fun date night! The menu is fairly extensive, ranging from vegetarian options (salads, etc) to pasta and meats. There's adequate seating the back dining room and I think there's also a seating in the front lounge, but I did not really check it out. Our waitress was kind and quickly approached us when we arrived so we can place our drink orders. On that note, I was impressed with their cocktail selection! The food was fantastic! We shared the meatball appetizer, which was too small but really delicious. We each has pasta entrees which we're fantastic! The pasta tasted home made - not kidding :D I highly recommend you visit the Leroy House for a nice night out in the West Village. It's a classy place with delicious food and a fun atmosphere.
