"There’s practically a constant line to eat at Oyster Bar at Palace Station, which sits in the middle of the casino floor. Unlike some other lines in Las Vegas, this one is worth it and consistently full on regulars coming back for more. Belly up to the bar and watch the chefs steam clams and dole out homemade chowders and seafood pastas, alongside fresh oysters on the half shell. Diners can request a level of spice on their Cajun-style seafood, or go for Creole gumbo or Bourbon Street jambalaya." - Janna Karel

"One of the most Vegas experiences involves bellying up at an oyster bar for some bivalves, and Oyster Bar at Palace Station sometimes brings long lines of customers awaiting a seat in front of the live-action kitchen. Steamed clams, oysters on the half shell, homemade chowders, and seafood pastas all draw long lines of customers waiting to eat and ogle the kitchen. Request a spice level with Cajun-style seafood cooked-to-order or order Creole gumbo, Bourbon Street jambalaya, or cioppino 24 hours a day. The pan roasts are a must-order." - Janna Karel

Delicious food! I love the gumbo the most actually. If you prefer the tomato, then go with the pan roast house combo. The oysters are a little bit too fishy for me, but the meat chunk is huge. There are only 18 seats, so you are highly likely to wait for at least 30 mins to 1 hour

We got here on a Thursday night and waited about an hr and 15 mins to get a seat. I got the combo pan roast (lobster, crab and shrimp) and it was amazing! I chose a level 3 spiciness and it was perfect. My bf had the clam chowder and it was the best we have ever tasted. His gumbo tasted like a recipe straight from the heart of New Orleans; the roux was fantastic! I will recommend this place 1000x over if you don’t mind the wait, because it’s worth it.

Whenever I'm in Vegas this is my go to place. I hadn't been in quite a few years, so my treat of a delicious, hot bowl of house Gumbo was long overdue. I only had to wait in line around 40 minutes and was eating around 15 minutes after my order was taken. I was in Heaven 🍛 I highly recommend coming here. It can be a long wait depending on the time you make your visit, but is WELL WORTH the wait. Good service and even better food.

Google
Waited 1hr at 11:30am on Friday. Wait is always long for this place. It’s my third time here and I always have to wait. Seated at a small bar and the smells were amazing. Best clam chowder I have had to date, got the bullion roast which comes with a little bit of everything, small neck clams and gulf oysters. Skip the gulf oysters.

This spot definitely does not disappoint regardless of when you go! I went on a Wednesday night, around 6pm. Surprisingly no line! However seems like I arrived at the right time as about 10 more people showed up after I did. The wait wasn’t long, about 30 min. My party was of 3 people. We ordered : Bouillabaisse (not spicy) Bouilla-Roast (which was just like the Bouillabaisse but with cream) House Gumbo Dozen oysters Cup of clam chowder The oysters were a bit watery, and fat. Clam chowder was mild on the flavors. All of our main entrees were delicious. The ones that were spicy were pleasantly spicy, not painful. Portion sizes were large, an entrée is enough for two. If you have a sodium sensitivity, definitely not recommended.

Google
Pan roast level 5 was perfection! Oysters were fresh and yummy. I tried the oyster shooter which wont be for everyone but I enjoyed it. This was more fair priced than a lot of my other meals in Vegas. There was a small crew working here that was very attentive and efficient. I waited 45 minutes for myself but was worth it.

Google
Really enjoyed the food. The oysters were fresh and tasty. We had three of the stews with a choice of spiciness levels. All three were very flavorful and filling. The seafood in the stews was generous. The service was attentive and friendly. My only knock was people walking past, you will get smoke smells. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Love this place! Prices are still affordable for seafood and every dish is tasty. My favorite is the bouillabaisse with its rich saffron broth and fresh seafood. The portions are big and served with a bowl of rice on the side. We do not like how long it took to be seated but it can't be helped. There are only about 16 seats at the bar and everything is cooked to order so there's a wait. We went on a Monday evening around 7pm and we were in line for 2 hours before being seated. I appreciate that they make those who want to order to go stand in line to order too. It is 21 and over so please know that kids are not allowed. One person is allowed to stand in line while others in the party can gamble or walk around. Once seated, they give you a sourdough bread with butter and drink orders are taken promptly. We ordered a dozen seasonal oysters and they were so fresh. Waittress shucked them right in front of us. We were so happy to finally eat after 2 hrs of waiting that we didn't take pictures until after we were done eating! Lol!

Yelp
The girlfriend raved about this place called Palace Station Oyster Bar. Being a Louisiana native and seeing gumbo, I knew I'd be in hog heaven! We flew from Orange County to Las Vegas just to try it out. I got the crab gumbo and she got the seafood combo pan roast. Pan Roast: The shrimp were jumbo, peeled, deveined, and perfectly cooked. The pan roast bisque was creamy and delightful. Crab Gumbo: Remember the movie Ratatouille? Yeah, that experience is real. I was taken back to my childhood with the first bite. It was so delicious in fact, I ate the entire bowl. These bowls are not small. I couldn't stop. The ambiance is okay, you're on the casino floor but all of that fades away as you see the chef making delicious food. The seating is setup so you engage with total strangers and have friendly conversations. Get there early! There isn't a lot of seating available and the line forms quickly. Enjoy!

Danita P.

Yelp
Had seafood combo gumbo. I've had gumbo lots of places, but my husband wanted to go here for his birthday. We waited for an hour, asked Melody questions about the entree, got mediocre answers at best. Copied hubby's order for gumbo, and it was the thickest darkest, uneasy gumbo I've ever tasted! No wonder everyone was ordering the orange colored sauce. I ended up throwing up most of it, and went to bed. Night 1 of our Vegas visit turned out pretty bad. I won't return for the gumbo. My hubby had to pay for our meal, as I only ate half! We live in California, and I am very disappointed with the raving reviews. Refills were nice, and Steve was personable, so I gave it more than 1 star!

Yelp
If you're super hungry, do not come here. The minimum wait time to eat is an hour and a half, at least. They only have 6 cooking pots, so you're not eating anytime soon. Very small hole in the wall of the casino. There's only 1 cook, and 2 waitresses, and they work at their own pace. It's always busy here, so go away, run if you're hungry!!! Now that I got rid of all the suckas, I need to mention that the food here is worth the wait. It's absolutely delicious and mouth watering. For some reason the lead waitress is awesome and a bitch at the same time. She's the one with the big gorgeous knockers. Overall, this place is a must visit for me anytime I'm in Vegas.

My L.

Yelp
We came at a great time. There was about a five minute wait we were able to sit right down and enjoy some delicious gumbo with fresh dinner rolls, warm melted butter and a dozen oysters on a half shell. I must say it's been a long time since food has tasted this good. The place is right in the heart of palace station always crowded. You can hear the music from the hotel playing in the background.

Tara L.

Yelp
This was my first experience trying pan roast and I was not disappointed! We came on a Thursday a little after 4pm. There were about 10 people ahead of us and we were super lucky to wait about 30 minutes. The pan roast is served hot and fresh so be careful not to burn your tongue! The side of bread was kinda dry so I'd skip that the next time. I got the combo pan roast level 3. I'll probably try level 4 next time. The guy next to us order seafood jambalaya which looked delicious. My hubby wants to try that next time.

Desiree L.

Yelp
Expect to wait, because the bar has limited seating. But it's well worth the wait! Service is friendly and the food is delicious! We tried oysters and I also ordered Cioppino - with a spice level of 7 and I loved dipping the side of bread they give you into the soup

Michael T.

Yelp
Well worth the wait. Came around 4pm on a Friday and eating in line for roughly 2 hours. Well worth the wait. The palace pan roast was amazing and bursting with flavor. The mussels were also very tasty smothered in a garlic butter sauce. The oysters were massive. Cool bar top seating and you get to see the chef hard at work.

Jonathan K.

Yelp
The line starts at the side of the restaurant, along the side of "Charcoal Room." Don't be fooled by looking at the empty seats!!! Make sure you get there, then get in line!! On a Friday around 4 PM, we waited around 1 hour to be seated. Then another 1-1.25 hours to order, get our food, and eat. Ordered 2 pan roasts, and they taste slightly different depending on the meat! Also pretty sure the bread is complimentary and you can ask for more! Palace Pan Roast, LVL 6 spicy (8/10) - Plenty of chicken, shrimp, sausage...SO GOOD!!!! All the other reviews say it's good, b/c it's good. - Definitely NOT TOO SPICY, level 6 is totally manageable for most of us i think. Lobster Pan Roast, LVL 6 spicy (8/10) - A little sweeter than the Palace Pan Roast! Surprised to taste that even though they use the same base, the lobster really brings out a different flavor profile in the soup Overall: If you're debating between Pan Roasts, have 2 people, and nothing else looks that great, just get 2 Pan Roasts!!! They won't taste exactly the same, and both of you won't be fighting over the single pan roast lol.

Yelp
I arrived on a weekday around 8 AM and there was no line. I am not sure why this particular location out of all of their oyster bar franchises has the best Pan Roast!!! I wish that it was brighter and well lit and maybe a little more cheery atmosphere, but this is great customer service and delicious food. Every time I come. Though I didn't have to wait this time. It is well worth the wait.

Yelp
Hands Down a Local Favorite and the must eat Vegas Foodie Destination. Start off with Bread and Butter as Chef whips up the magic! ** Boulli-Roast - the GOAT with Crab, Lobster, Clams, Shrimp, and Fish. Your taste buds will ascend to Heaven ** Calm Chowder - hearty, delicious and lip smacking good El Diablo - Linguine with Shrimp Do not sleep on the Boulli-Roast.

Yelp
I have such mixed reviews about this restaurant. One of the longest waited restaurants in Vegas. I have attempted to eat here about 3-4 times before actually getting the chance to. Wait times are approx. 45 mins (if you're lucky) - 2 hours depending on what you get here. I have heard that 7 AM - 9 AM are the best hours to go. I've been at 3 AM and it was still ridiculously long. It's good to note that the restaurant is bar top seating only, 21 and over, and only fits about 20 people max. Hence why the waits are always so long. Food: - Oysters 1/5: I am the biggest oyster fan ever and was so disappointed by this selection. Oyster were very large but lumpy, watery, and very fishy. Left a very dry/stale aftertaste. **All hot dishes are prepared right in front of you at the bar. - House Étouffée 2/5: Overly salty. I could barely take more than 3-4 bites. - Linguine and Clams 3/5: I ordered this with the white sauce. The linguine was cooked just right and there were plenty of clams. Loved that it was very garlicky however, it was a bit watery. Not sure if that was the water coming out of the cooked clams. - Palace Pan Roast 5/5: Literally the best dish here! I'd come back just for this dish alone. Served piping hot and so creamy. Broth had the perfect thickness and sweetness. They did their thing with this dish. Not quite sure if this all lives up to the hype. I would probably wait 45 mins max and just for the pan roast alone.

Yelp
Just when I thought I couldn't love this place any more than I already do...I tried the bouill-roast and now I could never go back to the pan roast. It's made with the pan roast base but with chunkier seafood. And who doesn't like chunkier seafood?! I am not ashamed to say I ate this for breakfast because as much as I love this spot, I don't like waiting in line. Hey, no rules apply on a Vegas vacation right? And there are always people eating here at all hours of the day and night. Once a secret item and now officially on the menu, trust me when I say get the bouill-roast!

Hannah L.

Yelp
I've heard a lot of hype about this place... and I've converted. I'm a fan. Waited from 920pmish til 1120ish on a Sunday until we started eating but to try it, I'm glad we stuck around. Food: all delicious and well flavored, but the only fault was that the spice for us was not there. If anything we felt maybe a bit of a kick with Level 9 (for comparison, BWW mango habanero is the perfect spice for us). Warm bread at start. - Oyster Shooters w/ Vodka (3 for $15): Menu says Vetel One Vodka, but receipt says Smirnoff. Either way it went down smoooth and it was soo good. - Seasonal Oysters ($22.99 for 6): Miyagi oysters. Small, sweet, refreshing, and oh-so-delicious. - Bouill-Roast ($34.99): Level 7 spice. prob my fave. Stacked with so much seafood and soooo tasty and buttery. Not spicy at all. - Alaskan Chowder ($30.99, dirty style): level 8 spice. Not spicy at all. Having just come from Alaska a few weeks ago, I am not disappointed!! Dirty Style was unique as I've never had Manhattan style. Tomoto-ey, crispy flavor contrasted well with the milky creaminess of the New England. Mom's favorite. - Seafood Jambalaya ($29.99): level 9 spice. Our favorite spice level, but our least favorite dish. Had to take it home, and somehow it was tastier next-day. Maybe it was because we were already getting full. - Lobster Shrimp Diablo ($29.99): Level 5 Spice. Dad's favorite. Came with pasta. Service was a vibe. At this time there were two waitresses (one also being a hostess), 1 chef, and one busboy. Everyone hustles - esp the chef, working his magic six dishes (as there are 6 pots) at a time. Heather was sweet, friendly, had a sense of humor, and fast. I could say the same when I saw how the other ladies worked as well. Honestly for the amount of seafood that's provided, I think the prices are reasonable and I would actually prefer this on a late night over most buffets. It's cheaper and we leave just as full AND with leftovers. I would definitely come back despite the seating situation - maybe I'll try coming earlier in the day and I'll also order level 10 LOL

Sonjay H.

Yelp
The food is lots of good flavor, the cook be making food fast. There is 18 seats, 1 chef is cooking for all the people, he keeps it moving, the host are nice and helpful. The only down side is the wait is over an hour. My 2nd time here and wait haven't improved.

Melanie P.

Yelp
As I was getting my hair done, by Rayne at Haven North Park, he highly recommended I try out The Oyster Bar in Palace Station. He warned me that there can be a significant wait but it's worth it. Thankfully, I waited only 30 minutes to get seated (some wait times can be up to 2 hours!). Recommendations: Oysters- These were huge! I watched as they shucked the oysters right in front of us. Combo Pan Roast - Spice level 7. So creamy and rich. The soup was flavorful and had quite a bit of lobster in this dish. Bouillabaisse - Spice level 7. This had so much seafood! The seafood was abundant and fresh and not one morsel was left behind! Loved watching the chef make the food with ease and finesse. Food was affordable and I would definitely go here every time I'm in Vegas! Tip: To minimize wait times, go before 1130 am or late at night after 12am. Otherwise you may be risking an hour wait or more. Choose spice level wisely. If you go too hot, they won't remake the dish for you. For me 7 was enough spice for me. Definitely a rich meal which should keep you satisfied for awhile. The chef was funny and engaging. The staff are on point and efficient to get the line moving as fast as possible.

Dany K.

Yelp
If you're okay with waiting 2+ hours to eat here, then yes I recommend eating here! My best friend and I were in Vegas for a girls trip. We arrived the first night. We had a list of places of where wanted to eat and the Oyster Bar inside the Palace Station was one of them! We left the Mandalay Bay around 11:30pm and arrived at the Palace Station at 12am. We approached the little eatery and thought no line, great! When we approached the counter, the staff told us to go wait in line. So we went around the pillar and there it was.. a not so long line. We thought okay.. cool! But even though it wasn't a long line, we have to account for how many seats are at the counter and the pan roast is made to order. So the chef is cooking it right in front of you. We've been wanting to try this place for so long so we decided to wait. It was about 2.5 hours wait. We ordered and shared the crab pan roast, and then we each got our own chowder. One Manhattan clam chowder and a New England clam chowder. It satisfied our craving! Definitely worth wait! Oh! Can't forget the MVPs! The chef and ladies behind the counter were so awesome and nice people! I mean who could be still be so cheerful 3am!!

Mira S.

Yelp
We came here at 10 am and NO LINE. We heard how popular this oyster bar was and wanted to see if it was everything everyone said it was. We thought it was pretty good. The portion is huge and good for sharing. The taste was legit and believe me I lived in New Orleans. We thought it was delicious and will definitely be back to try other items.

Angelica T.

Yelp
My first time here and the hubby's 3rd. Went at 1am and only waited 45 minutes (but then the line got even longer after us). Definitely worth the wait. Was very impressed that the lady letting people in didn't allow extra guests of the people in front of us to cut the line (even when they said they just wanted to take it to go). Bravo! And thank you from the rest of us in line. The bar is literally only a about a dozen or so seats but you get front row seats to then shucking oysters and the chef busily making all the dishes. It was fun watching the efficiency and love they put into their food. What's better is that the line is around the corner so you don't feel rushed and have daggers of eyes staring at you too hurry up. What we got: *A dozen oysters on the half shell (gulf oysters?)... Large and fresh, totally recommend. It was my first time enjoying oysters. I get the hype now. * Littleneck clams in traditional garlic-herb sauce ... Also delicious. The sauce was so good I wished we had rice to go with it. We used the bread to dip into it and that was amazing too *Combo pan roast in spice level 2 - didn't taste spicy at all. If was delicious. The crab was a little hard to find because of was mixed in with the broth but it was delicious nonetheless. Eat it with the rice and it was pure heaven. *Palace pan roast in spice level 3 - my husband got it with no shrimp and they gave him plenty of sausages and chicken and crab. We this think was the best bang for your buck. Next time I want you try the bouill-roast, which is the mix of bouillabaisse and the pan roast (apparently used to be a secret menu item). Excited to try it and the other dishes from this place. You are only allowed to order 2 entrees per guest and sharing a dish will cost you $5 extra. Til next time!

Michael S.

Yelp
4.2 out of 5. Oysters were large but no flavour. Massive portion sizes but not much taste to them. Pasta was nice, rice was mediocre. Soup was a good value for money and it was filling, but like the mains, the seafood was overcooked. Would I come back? Maybe. Would I wait in line here? Depends - longer than 20-30 min, heck no, there's tons of better places. My bar for seafood is very high - having been to some dope places in Europe, living in the PNW, and having been to places where seafood is some of the best in the world - this isn't going to blow your mind. If you're not that well-travelled - this place will hit the spot for you. However if you've visited or lived in at least 6 countries in the world - you may not like this place as much.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
The Oyster Bar will always be the one place that I am willing to wait 1-2 hours for to eat after I get off the plane. Every time I go to Vegas, it is always on my list to go here. The fresh seafood, the staff, and the pan roast just makes a person miss this place once you leave Vegas.

Koco N.

Yelp
AMAAZING. first timer here! Firstly, we went at 8a on a Wednesday and we didn't have to wait!!!! ....which the team at Oyster Bar confirmed is a solid time to come to avoid the lines. Of course the cost is.... 8a...on a Wed... with DELICIOUS food but quite heavy for the morning. We were fine with napping afterwards so yay! Food: -Clam Chowder: my lactose bod didn't complain one bit!! It was so tasty, definitely a little more on the savory/saltier side, but my korean american pallet wasn't complaining! I love to ball up my bread and crackers inside too to soak up the chow, so it was really good. -Palace Pan Roast WITH the given side of rice: ooooooh my. I. am. a. fan. The tomato sound kind of kept me skeptical, but it is SOOO savory. The meat inside is delicious and tender, and I loved it!! Ambiance: -SO AWESOME. There were regulars coming in and out where the team knew their orders and were bantering and comfortable. Gosh, if I lived in Vegas...near the strip... I would LOOOVEEE to be a regular too!! And while we were there, we got to chat it up with some of the team and they were so amazing (i'll add that to the service part) and also seeing people that had traveled and JUST got to Vegas and their first stop was here was very exciting- I loved it!! Very family vibe! Service: -the. best. I wish I could work here. Did I drink the oyster bar koolaid? 10000% and you would too if you got to talk to the team, enjoy their cohesiveness and warmth and professionalism and DELICIOUS food. Overall: -I will be back : ) I hope I can come again at... 8a on a Tues-Thurs.... to avoid lines, but I wonder if I'd be willing to brave it through for this too. That's huge coming from someone like me, heh. Thank you Oyster Bar!! From, your newest committed pal!

David M.

Yelp
The hype is true. Their pan roast is definitely life changing. The service is not great because they don't. Care if you get seated asap. They know that when forced to wait, people tend to go gamble more. They will not seat you unless they have all the chairs. There's about 16 spots at the bar, that is it! Once you're seated, everything should be amazing. The food is so amazing. Fresh oysters and seafood. I recommend the crab pan roast. They put three bags of crab meat into the pot. You can also add other toppings like sausage and okra. They give you a cup of rice and bread with an order of pan roast. If you share, it's a huge serving, they will charge $5 extra unless you order and appetizer or a side dish like extra rice or add ons. Definitely worth the trip. Come at around 10-11am for less wait.

Yelp
My friends and I went to eat at this place last week, Thursday, 6/27 for early dinner. When we were talking about it before, I was very skeptical as I didn't really eat oysters (maybe fried). First, I don't think I've ever stepped foot inside the Palace Station. This is off the strip so not far at all from our Hilton Paradise which was also off the strip. There's 4 of us and 1 recommended this as she'd eaten there before many times. We got there and saw there's seats open at the bar so I was excited but I didn't realize that there's a line on the other side. It wasn't too bad but we waited a good 45 to an hour. During that wait, one of my friends and I decided to share a meal. We did the Shrimp Pan Roast. In my mind, it wasn't going to be in a bowl and looking like a soup (I looked in Yelp). When we finally sat and ordered, let me tell you, this was the best seafood dish I've ever had! It came with 1 small serving of rice. They were not skimpy on the shrimp. The chef's kitchen was right in front of you so you could see the action. Apparently, this establishment has been around for 30+ years. It's in a bar settings so it's not a whole lot of seating after all. We were all impressed. The workers work hard and they are even funny. For example, my friend asked for a spoon and the chef was giving her the ladle...lol. Will definitely come back when I visit Vegas again.

Yelp
I can't believe we waited for almost 2 hours to eat this place but we did! My friend wanted to try out the ICONIC palace station oyster bar! This place is on the top of everyone's list when it comes to oyster bars and I don't blame them! I was a little intimidated by how long the wait was but I had time to reconnect with my out-of-town friend and the people behind us were fun to talk to as well! I probably should have gotten a drink during to enjoy the time waiting in line. Luckily, when we finally got seated, we tried a few dishes to really satisfy our taste. We both got cranberry vodkas and feasted on the Caesar salad, pan roast, and clam chowder. The pan roast was amazing. The clam chowder was the MVP of the night. And the Caesar salad wasn't my favorite but to be honest, I would have gotten it again. Overall, definitely worth the wait and the staff were super nice and patient. I haven't tried the other Station Casino's oyster bars, but after Palace Station, I would love to see what the other casinos have to offer! 10/10

Nicol N.

Yelp
Best pan roast ever hands down. I love coming here every time I visit Las Vegas! The oysters are always so sweet. The pan roast is so hearty and delicious! The service is always so fast after you sit down. Expect to stand in a long line if you visit unless you come on a week day during an off time. Other than the wait, I think everyone should try this place at least once!

Michelle F.

Yelp
Palace Station's Oyster Bar is nothing less than truly delicious. Imagine, it's 8am and it's almost at full capacity. It's open 24/7 every day! Chef Angel was making 6 orders at the time with precision and finesse. I ordered the Bouill-Roast spicy and it didn't disappoint. The sauce was rich with tomato and seafood/clam broth. The big bowl of goodness was filled with jumbo shrimp, lobster tail, crab, mussels, scallops, cod and little neck clams. Chopped tomatoes, special spices and much more was packed in to this amazing seafood concoction. Savory, creamy and full of so many rich fresh flavors. They are well known for their pan roasts and bouillabaisse's but when you order the Bouill-Roast you get a combination of the best of both of those. They also offer fresh oysters, clams, shrimp and chowders. It's fun watching them create these beautiful bowls of goodness that I won't forget!

Yelp
Lol!

Yelp
This place is worth any wait you have to do to try their food! The bouillabaisse was heat flavor 8 and was sooooo deliciously seasoned and seafood were good chunks, the raw oysters were fresh and the garlic Mussels were big, juice and the broth was yummy! We picked out and didn't have to wait because we got there at 8am to beat the rush. The counter people were fantastic on giving us suggestions on what to get. I will be wanting to do this everytime I'm in Vegas!

Yelp
Palace Pan Roast! There are tasty and very filling eats here at the oyster bar. For stewed dishes, you can choose a spiciness level from 1-10. I recommend getting a dozen oysters also. I mean, you've waited this long and it is an oyster bar. Unless you're coming at like 6AM, expect a long wait. I'm talking like 2 hours. Is it worth it? I honestly don't think so. The coolest thing is the way they cook your dish in front of you in those pots that swivel. If you're set on coming here, plan to come in a small group and you can take turns waiting in line while others gamble or something. I would not come in a group more than 4 since it's a small space not meant for big groups.

Yelp
Every time I'm in LV this place is a must visit. I can skip all the drinking and bars but this place is a must! Didn't get the oysters this time around due to dietary restrictions, but def a recommended appetizer from past experiences. We got the Palace Pan Roast and the Combination Pan Roast, the main difference being added chicken chunks and sausage in the Palace Pan Roast, def recommend for those that would like some non-seafood proteins. We also got level 5 and level 2 spice, to which I think even at level 5, it wasn't unbearable, but then again no one's looking to get enough heat that you'll get stomach pain or fiery behind the next day while you're trying to party or gamble, so get the spiciness at your own risk. The service was good, great even considering how busy they are, but definitely expect to wait anywhere between 45min to 2 hours. We came at around 5pm on a Tuesday and still had to wait about 30-40 mins. Last tip, make sure everyone in the party is 21 years old and BRING YOUR ID. Not just your ID, but EVERYONE'S ID in the party. This is the second time we witnessed a party turned away at the bar, after waiting for like 45 mins or so, because someone in the party didn't bring their ID.

Yelp
Such an awesome experience every time i come! Even though the wait is long ASF its worth every penny! The service is a bit slow but always friendly The food is Amazing & if you come early you will probably have to wait 2+ hours because they only have about 12-15 seats. Your best bet is to come around 4 or 5 am if Possible..otherwise be prepared 2 wait!! I ordered Takeout was charged a $1.99 fee and still had to sit at the bar and wait..It doesnt make senae why I Had to take up a precious seat for take out when someone else could have used it! I really enjoy this place but the seating and takeout can use improvement because a 2 hour wait or more is frustrating when hungry lol. The ambiance is always fun and exciting as well as the other guests! The food is Delish but a bit Pricey considering a pan roast which is like a rich stew is $30.00+. If you have never been and have time & a few extra dollars check them out!! I will always stop by here when in town..just be prepared 4 a LONG wait

Yelp
I can't believe after years of visiting this spot for celebration dinners and outings that I haven't thrown out a 5 star yelp review. This is by far one of my favorite places to eat in town and with plenty of reasons, along with one of the few places I would wait hours to get sat at for the food. The combination pan roast is what I get here, along with a couple dozen orders of oysters and let me tell you, it is worth the wait/hype! Every other pan roast in town doesn't compare to the unbelievable taste of this one. The wait for a spot at the bar here is the most unpleasant part of the experience, but the service is super friendly, prompt, and the food quality is impeccable. It is at Palace Station, so the ambiance is that of the average casino floor like all other station casinos, but a bit on the older side. When I visited Hawaii, there is a restaurant that tried their hardest to replicate what the owners there experienced HERE. They were inspired to open their location out there from having visited THIS Oyster Bar. I think that in itself speaks volumes about the food here. As far as personal preference goes, this is one of my fiancé's and my favorite places to dine. The longest part of the journey to experience the food is the wait that can be anywhere from 1-4 hours on average, but it is worth it and the line will speak for itself because most people have already had this amazing pan roast. Hands down five stars or more for just the incredible pan roast that you can ask to make as spicy as you like!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to go to when in Vegas.. I make it a point to come here every time we visit Vegas. This is located in Palace Station, and it is unfortunately 21 and over to dine here since it is located in the middle of the casino. The good news is that it is open 24 hours, so we definitely come here after a night out on the Vegas strip or after the clubs. We always get the pan roast, and we pick our spice level. We always end up getting the medium level. It satisfies our spiciness for our taste buds. As I mentioned earlier, it is located in the middle of the casino, so the ambiance gets pretty hectic and busy, and there is always a long line. Expect to wait 2 hours because there is limited seating. Trust me, it is worth the wait. In addition, we also order the New England Clam chowder, and it is "Wow," very tasty. Oysters are fresh and supurb. Overall, I can't wait to come back to Vegas. This is a must-try and will not disappoint you.

Yelp
Our 2nd favorite meal during our mother/daughter trip. We went on a Sunday morning to avoid the normal 2 to 3 hours wait. We arrived at 9:30 am and were seated right away. We both had a dozen oysters and they were wonderful! We also split the house pan roast and ordered an extra bowl of rice - but frankly, I enjoyed the Pan Roast more without the rice! So delicious! I can see why there are rave reviews about the food here.

Yelp
Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 I waited an hour and 30 minutes for 2 people on a Sunday. The line did get longer after I arrived. I recommend arriving at 11 am to avoid a long wait time. Bouillabaisse 4/5 Clam Chowder New England 5/5 Seafood Jambalaya 5/5 (feels you up quickly)

Yelp
My only gripe is how slow the line moves! There were 4 small groups in front of us and it still took us 45 minutes to get seated. It's only bar seating and has maybe about a dozen seats. They cook everything right in front of you which is pretty cool. I got the bouillabaise and it was delicious. The portions are large so I shared with another person. Other people in my group got 1 order each and they were not able to finish it!

Yelp
Wait-time: I arrived at 12:50am and was seated at 1:30am. There were about 8-10 people in front of me. By the time I finished eating there was still a line of about 8-10 people so it does seem like it is always busy. This was around 3am. Service: the server was very nice and took the time to answer any questions we had. Since you're sitting at a bar drinks and food are served when they are ready. Food: I ordered the Bouill-Roast and the Palace Pan Roast Bouill-Roast: this is a Pan Roast shellfish stew that includes Shrimp, Crab, Lobster, Cod, Mussels and Clams. The biggest difference between this and the Pan Roast (in my opinion) is this has a very strong seafood flavor. If you don't like a strong "fishy" taste I would opt for the Pan Roast. The stew in general is very creamy and "light." It doesn't have a strong tomato flavor either which I like. Overall when paired with the steamed rice this dish is super comforting and delicious. They also include alot of the seafood I had about 3 mussels, 3-4 shrimps, a bunch of crab legs and 2-3 chunks of lobster. Palace Pan Roast: for this dish I did have to ask for modifications because the person I went with has a shellfish allergy. From what the server told us, the tomato stew doesn't include shellfish in it but they do add clam juice to everything they make so we had to substitute that with water. We were worried that it would take away alot of the flavor but in my opinion it was just as delicious. They included alot of chicken and sausage. It normally comes with Shrimp, Crab, Chicken and Andouille Sausage. I can't speak for other people who have a shellfish allergy but for my friend, they didn't have any reaction and took Benadryl after just to be safe. Overall I would come back but I wouldn't say this is a place for a big group because they can only sit about 16 people at a time. I also think one dish is enough to feed two but with the wait you feel like you should try more than 1 item.

Yelp
There's always a waiting line, it's well worth the wait . Three of us had a late lunch here, gumbo and another dish I swooned over . Cook Eze was working is behind off and never stood still, I gave him a direct tip, I think you should too if you like the food . "Steve" was our waiter and the barkeep, he too was constantly moving, helping Customers or cleaning tables, etc. etc. . Gumbo is easy to make poorly, this place ROCKS IT . Black folks like the Gumbo and other sea foods here so give them a try . -Nate

Yelp
Be prepared for a LONG wait, and when I say LONG, I mean about 3 hrs. I have heard the wait can be about 6 hours, but it all depends on what time you go. The reason it takes so long is because they only seat about I think 12-15 people at a time, and they make the food when you sit down and order. The food comes out fresh from the pot. Anyway, besides the wait, I enjoyed everything else about the place. The servers & cook were awesome, very welcoming, and friendly. I loved that we were able to see them cook our food in front of us. * Oysters - they were not skimpy, big portion of protein for that tiny oyster shell * Palace pan roast - delicious, with so much flavor * Bouillabaisse - I would choose this over the pan roast because it was full of seafood and had so much flavor. The seafood was not over cooked, thank you for that. && I actually had big lobster pieces in my dish, which was delicious. I would definitely recommend to at least try it once. I know the wait is discouraging, but hopefully you get lucky in going at a good time

Yelp
Starting off, please be aware of the wait time. It's well worth it! Everything was good on the food side. You got a lot of options but the original Palace pan roast is undeniably the best I've ever had. My good friend recommended this place and everytime I make my way to Vegas, this is a must stop!

Amanda A.

Yelp
Love the food! 1.5 hour wait was worth it. They try to sit your party together so it was good as don't let others cut in front of you just to fill seats.

Jay T.

Yelp
I was so excited and forget that the clam chowder should be cream white, I posted on my social media, my friends told me why order gravy ? It is salty , This should not be served. It should be thrown away.

Sean S.

Yelp
I day dream about this place. If I could have it everyday, I would. The only issue here is the fact that you have to physically wait in line which absolutely doesn't make sense - for that reason alone, one star drop.

Yelp
6 years since my last review, and thought I should update this. Still the best Pan Roast Ever! Despite many copycats, none come close to Palace Station Oyster Bar. For me it's that....rich creamy broth and the punch of seafood and spice. The combo pan roast is still the best choice for me, with tons of crab, shrimp, and lobster meat thrown in. You can order spice levels from 1-10, and on my most recent trip I ordered a 8 and it was not that spicy for my spice tolerance. Although I have a high tolerance in general. The line is still long, I came around 3PM, and was seated around 5PM on a Saturday, but it's definitely worth the wait!

Yelp
Our first breakfast in Vegas last Friday morning around 9AM was at the Palace Station Oyster Bar, and we had a phenomenal time. I'd done a bit of research ahead of time and knew we probably had to get there somewhat early, and we were fortunate enough that there was no line and 6 empty seats for our group of 6 to get seated immediately at when we arrived a little before 9AM. By the time we left the line had grown to 20+ people so I'm really glad we hauled ourselves up earlier in the morning to make it. My husband and I split a bowl of clam chowder, the house gumbo, and the bouill-roast, and our larger group also got a dozen oysters to share. The oysters were super smooth, juicy and large, and not too briny, and paired well with a squeeze of lemon and a bit of mignonette. The clam chowder was full of chopped pieces of clam and was so smooth and creamy; definitely one of the best renditions of the dish we've had. The gumbo was packed with seafood and definitely had a kick even though we only asked for level 3 spiciness - very hearty and filling. But the real star of the show for us was the bouill-roast. The creamy seafood-tomato stew base was truly phenomenal, and the seafood was delicious, especially the jumbo shrimp and the scallop. Even though we were too stuffed at the end to finish our gumbo and had to ask for a to-go box, we pretty much licked the bouill-roast bowl clean, it was that good. After we finished eating and paid our bills, we hopped over to one of the blackjack tables next to the oyster bar and won enough to pay for breakfast, so that helped leave a great last impression for us too :) We will absolutely be back for more the next time we're in town - can't wait!

Yelp
Bussin oysters and food. The portions were super filling and worth the wait. Servers were super nice and everyone around the bar was nice.

Yelp
After hearing so much about Palace Station's Oyster Bar, we made it a point to get up early and head over on a Monday morning at 9:30 AM to avoid the infamous wait times. Thankfully, our timing was perfect- no line in sight, and we were seated after just a 10-minute wait! With only about 12 or 14 seats at the bar, the setting felt intimate, almost like dining at an exclusive sushi bar, which added to the charm. We started with a dozen seasonal oysters, which, while flavorful, unfortunately had some grit. I wish they had been scrubbed better before shucking. However, the highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Combo Bouill-Roast, a secret menu item revealed on the menu by popular demand. It's a combination of the pan roast and bouillabaisse, and let me tell you- it was worth every bit of hype. Rich, creamy, with deep, comforting flavors of the sea, it was everything you could want in a seafood stew. Adding to the experience was the lively atmosphere, made even more interesting by a group of overseas businessmen next to us, who were downing round after round of tequila oyster shooters at 10 in the morning. Only in Vegas! Overall, despite the minor issue with the oysters, the incredible Bouill-Roast has guaranteed that I'll be back, and it might just become a regular stop on future trips. A solid 10 out of 10 for this gem.
