Good, not great. First impression: drinks are served in plastic cups. That isn't the end of the world, but it is the feeling that maintained across the experience.
First round of orders: sangria, cranberry mule, and loaded fries (don't judge me, we just got off a flight and I was hungry and I didn't get the loaded fries at the airport and I wasn't passing it up twice!). All of it was fine. Mule was a little sweeter than I would have liked (that's nit-picking honestly), and the sangria was good. Fries were...just fries with melted cheese, raw onions, and some bacon bits. A combo you can't go wrong with, but also none of it blew me away. Also, 5 packets of ketchup on the tray with the fries. Take that for what it is.
Second round of orders: both got Sunset Spritz and fried portobellos. Drinks, again, were good. The
mushrooms were tasty, the sauce was all wrong. Should have been a ranch or aioli, definitely not the bottled sweet chili sauce it came with.
I will say, our server was very nice.
Views are ok. For a rooftop, I'm not particularly impressed. That's probably more of an issue of the general height of buildings in Charleston all being the same, but also the patio is on the wrong side of the building to get a good view.
Solid 3 star. Not saying I wouldn't come back if I lived here, but wouldn't be on my list of recommendations to another tourist.
