We had a fabulous birthday lunch sitting outside. Poppy looked after us super well, and the long suffering bar man helped multiple times to relocate the sun shade umbrella thing.
Food was great. Asparagus gribiche, terrine, crab toast, followed by steak and ale pie, chop schnitzel and a spanakopita. Amazing potatoes and greens on the side. We were full but still managed a creme brulee, mousse and some ricotta ice cream.
Lots of places in Somerset have smaller portions, but not this one.
Was really great and highly recommended.
