Raise a Toast to Bartenders With Tequila Cocktails at These LA Bars | Eater

"Part home for Greek cuisine and part lively lounge, this eatery along West 3rd Street in West Hollywood is about the full experience, with DJs, dancers, and bottle service. Try the Red Sea, Theía’s version of a margarita, with prickly pear puree — while the cactus is native to the Americas, its scientific genus Opuntia is named after an ancient Greek city, making it on theme. Sit outside for dinner, or inside to party. Pro tip: A night here is incomplete without an order of the baklava." - Robert Spuhler

Great place for Mediterranean food and they have live shows! I’ve been several times during the weekend. Always a great time. Everyone who’s served us has been attentive to our table. The owners are present and checked with everyone at our table throughout the night making sure everything was taken care of. Overall a great experience with the food and entertainment. We will definitely be continuing to come back again.

Finally, a nice restaurant in LA with a cute design, delicious food, and such an amazing vibe! Tried Theia recently and everything was on point — the food was so delicious, the staff was super professional, and the whole place has this really fun Miami vibe. You can go for a nice dinner, and after 10PM it turns into a club — perfect spot to celebrate a birthday or just hang out with friends. They also have something going on every night, even during the week. Definitely adding this to my go-to list!

🌟 Absolutely loved our experience at Theía! Every dish was a piece of art — beautifully presented, fresh, and full of vibrant flavors. From the delicate starters to the decadent dessert, everything was simply exceptional. The ambiance was warm and elegant, perfect for a cozy evening out. A very special thank you to Max, the manager, who made our dinner truly unforgettable. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional — his energy and attention to detail brought the whole experience to a higher level. You can feel the passion he brings to the place! Highly recommend Theía to anyone looking for a unique culinary experience in LA. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Theía has delicious food and a great vibe. Staff were friendly and attentive, but they brought the check too early while still enjoying the night, it felt a bit rushed. Management should work on that. Otherwise, a great experience and I’d come back!

Google
Wow! I’ve been to the old Theia when it was on 3rd st. It had great vibes. But now the new Theia has made some serious improvements. The new chef has brought some seriousness to the food. They’re more focused on small dishes served family style, Mediterranean fusion, and the flavors and presentation of the dishes are incredible. The labneh was beautiful and tasty. Loved the hot honey on the chips. The yellowtail crudo was also beautifully presented and delicious. The rigatoni alla vodka was so good I forgot to take pictures. The cocktails were also amazing. The green market might’ve been my favorite with the avocado purée adding an interesting twist to the drink. Theia was always known to be a party spot with dancers, flashy drinks, and other entertainment… but the food just might have stolen the show.

Google
Really solid place. Loved the mix of Greek and Mediterranean dishes, you can tell they care about what they serve. The DJ and live entertainers gave it a fun energy, but not too much. Staff was friendly, bartenders quick, and drinks were made well. Street parking available within one or two blocks plus there is valet which was easy and quick. Overall prices are fair for the quality and vibe. 100% recommended for a fun date or a night out with friends or a celebration!

Google
I had such a great time here. My friend brought me here and I had no idea what I was in for. The vibes, the music, the food, the hospitality…. Everything was on point. For the food, we had the crudo which was exceptional. We also had the branzino which the chef came out personally to debone and serve to us. The texture was super moist and incredible. The sauce totally made the dish. It was some sort of butter sauce. The cocktails were also great. The fries were also really good. Perfectly cooked, light, and crispy. I highly recommend this place

Came to Theia for Mother’s Day with my family and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was up beat and welcoming. The staff was prompt and polite. The music was a nice combo of European dance music. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
I was here for a birthday on 6/23/24. it was such a fun vibe with an interactive dining experience that provides guests with a welcome escape from everyday life. There was a belly dancer, sparklers; club like. Theía is a restaurant concept that aspires to captivate guests through its alluring ambiance, inventive cocktails, and contemporary Greek cuisine. As mentioned on their website- "Dress to impress: no shorts, flip-flops, sweatpants, baseball caps, or athletic wear." Some items ordered: -Theía's Cloud (Tito's Vodka, Sayuri Sake, passion fruit liqueur, lemon, simple syrup, cotton candy) -Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Purple (Tequila blanco, fresh lime, Angostura bitters, butterfly pea flower tea, tajín rim) -Tzatziki (greek yogurt, shallot, dill, lemon) -House Made Pita -Greek Salad (little gem lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, feta, house vin, olives) -Truffle Potato Croquetts (yukon gold potatoes, capers, parmesan, dill, truffle) -Zucchini spaghetti and vegan meatball (Lemon, mint, basil & corriander sauce) I could not stop eating the pita as it was warm and the croquettes were tasty also. I am giving it 3 stars due to value for the money and parking. It is way expensive and parking is a pain. Portions are way to small, almost like tapas sizing and for the price...NOPE! I will only be back if someone else is paying. It was a fun party though so it is good for that.

Yelp
The best of LA nightlife meets Greek culture and cuisine at @theialosangeles , an upscale bar that combines tastefully curated dishes and cocktails with a fun, festive setting and live entertainment! I find it rare to come across a spot in LA that manages to have good food and drinks while being fun, but @theialosangeles definitely checks off all of the boxes for me for a good night out. We were impressed with their menu, which features Greek, Asian, and American influences, as well as the beautiful, flashy shows that came along with each dish and drink. Highly recommend checking out this hidden gem next time you're in Weho, and enjoying the best that this LA + Greek-inspired lounge has to offer! Featured here: yuzu god, tiki to me, theia's cloud, love letters truffle croquettes Greek salad saganaki azai's spicy tuna crispy rice grilled prawns Greek style Theía style sliders branzino filet baklava

Yelp
It's not just a restaurant, it's a party! We came on a weekday night and as expected we had to park as valet because it's on W. 3rd St. in West Hollywood and there's no street parking available most times. But to say, even on a weekday night, it was a party. We got seated inside, because they said they are not seating anyone outside for the night. Then shortly after, they brought us waters and handed us a sparkler. They also have a live DJ on site. The atmosphere and the music is pretty loud and it's meant to be a party scene like mykonos in Greece. I really like their signature cocktails on the menu, and their food as well. I really liked their lobster pasta. But they were all out of the bone marrow dish, so make sure you go early! The baklava was super crispy and it had ice cream in the middle as well. Hospitality and services pretty great here as they're always walking around and the manager also, was there the whole time. I recommend this to anyone who needs a big group night out or a fun date.

Yelp
Dinner and show are taken to a new level here. There was not only belly dancing the night I went but also a whole bunch of sparklers. We ordered appetizers and all of them were delicious. The one I definitely recommend ordering is the mezze platter but the presentation for the saganaki was crazy with flames coming out. If you love seafood then go for the charred octopus because it was tender yet chewy in a good way. As for the entrees, the short ribs like yaya were the best I've had not served in an Asian style. I'm usually not the biggest fan but I'd order this one again. The branzino was good because of the caper blanc sauce that came with it. The rack of lambs is a good sharing dish since it comes with four. The one I would skip is the lobster pasta since the noodles were overcooked and I couldn't taste the lobster as much since the tomato sauce was a bit too strong. As for desserts, my table loved and devoured the cookie skillet. They generously drizzled chocolate syrup on top and since it was fresh out of the oven, the cookie was gooey on the inside and crisp on the outside. If you love fun presentations and overall good vibes, then this is the place to be. They do different performances depending on the day and the music is blasting so it's a great place to celebrate an occasion too. Dinner and show is taken to a new level here. Yelp
Not my usual cup of tea, but my friends decided to pick Theía for dinner so I rolled with it. I should start with the ambience here, since Theía is definitely presenting like itself like it was in Mykonos. They got a live DJ playing music all night, servers are passing out sparklers, we're even waving dinner napkins around. If you want to come somewhere for a nice, quiet dinner where you can have a conversation, this is NOT the place to come to. But if you want to feel like you're at a party, this is your spot! With that said, for a place that's a party, the food is actually very good. Had the Greek Salad, Charred Octopus, Hummus, Spanakopita, Grilled Prawns Greek Style, Bone Marrow, Short Ribs like Yaya, Branzino Filet, and Smoked Rack of Lamb. Standout dishes for me were the Short Ribs Like Yaya and Branzino Filet. For the price, I thought it was very much worth. Service was great! Everyone was really friendly here and took care of us. Made our night that much better. For a place that presents itself as a party, I was surprised that the food was as good as it was!

Yelp
Apparently Theia is now closed and relocating, however I was able to try it on its last weekend open. Food is very pricey and incredibly mediocre, however I love a place where I can have a good time despite the disappointing food. The DJ played a range of Russian, Armenian, Persian, Israeli music and had all the tables up dancing. I'm hoping to try Theia again at their new location and that the entertainment will remain just as fun and the food will be better.

Yelp
I was not impressed with the quality of the food or the service... If you come here, you're definitely coming here for the ambiance. The entire time, I felt like the hostess kept pushing my party to consume alcohol (there were people in my party that are sober) so, that was a little off-putting. One waiter spilled gravy all over my phone (I get it... accidents happen, but he didn't even apologize.) & the cherry on top was when one of the hosts got on top of a chair and broke a plate above my friends head and spilled a caramel dessert all over her. I guess if you're looking for a vibe, come here. Don't expect good food though. I never mind splurging a little when it's good food, but this was definitely mediocre when it came down to the drinks and food. (I didn't even take a picture because of how I annoyed I was the entire time lol)

Yelp
The ambiance was fun. VERY loud I had to yell at everyone at our table the whole night. The drinks were good my favorite was the tiki to me I love a dramatic drink and it's served with a flaming lime. We ordered tons of appetizers to share amongst each other and everything was forgettable except for the Greek salad it was perfect. Good place for a celebration and drinks but not necessarily for the food.

Yelp
Amazing place for b day events, great live djay . Great food options. Cocktail menu is great and refreshing options are available. I'd say it's loud there, definitely no play to have conversations, just eat, drink and dance.
google avatar

Natalie A.

Yelp
Drinks were good and food was just ok. I had gone a couple years back and I think It was better then. The Hookah was HORRIBLE and overpriced. They kept trying to "fix" it and got it right two hours later as we were leaving. Such a waste of $80 You would think they would have the decency offer a partial refund or comp the whole thing, but nope!

Yelp
4+ I came here for brunch with a couple of friends. The menu has fun cocktails and light food items that were both fresh and tasty. We left not feeling weighed down. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly and enthusiastic. The location feels like it could be crazy busy at times, but wasn't particular busy the time we went. It is a fun street to eat outside and people watch though. To start I got the Bloody Mary. I thought this was well-made and was super refreshing. For apps we got the hummus and htipiti that came with fresh pita. For my own meal, I got the lamb souvlaki plate with grilled veggies and rice. It was a special combo that came with some red wine. Definitely delicious food with a pretty space. I can see have this would be very popular. I was a fan.

Yelp
It's a fun and entertaining ambience, the service is amazing, the servers are very friendly and nice. Food and drink is just okay. We requested our steak to be medium but it came out medium well. My cocktail didn't taste passion fruit at all, however it was one of the ingredients.
google avatar

Yelp
@theialosangeles was an experience I will not forget!I decided to t try their Passionfruit Mocktail that can be turned into a cocktail with the addition of your choice of alcohol!I couldn't resist joining in on the dancing. Please do not compare my skills to the amazing woman next to me in the video You're also encourage every now and then to shout out an enthusiastic 'Opa!'The Greek salad had a nice citrusy flavor. And I must say, I am always a fan of tzatziki with warm pita and veggies.I tried the lobster tomato pasta and the short ribs like Yaya which was my favorite dish of the night. The meat was so tender and flavorful, and it was complemented perfectly with the stewed garbanzo beans.I ended the night with coffee baklava and flourless chocolate cake. The combination of dancing, drinks, and delicious food made for an exciting and fun-filled night.

Yelp
Went to my first Yelp ELITE event at Theía and lets just say it was quite the experience: Beginning with ambiance, I walked into what was a more club-like atmosphere with the manager, Max, welcoming my partner and I with an "opa!" Little would I know that would be the first of many "opa's" from him throughout the night. I absolutely loved his energy. I was given a half chicken, spanikopita, and cocktail on the house. Nevertheless, my partner and I got more food to try, which included their traditional hummus and pita, their truffle potato croquette, gyro, and coffee baklava for desert. On top of that, we were given MANY more complimentary gifts, such as celebratory shots with more "opa's" from Max, as well as two gin and tonics. The food was great, as the hummus, spanikopita, truffled potatoes, gyro, and half chicken were MORE than enough food. Everything was very impressive besides the gyro in my opinion. In terms of service, Max and the rest of the crew made this the best service experience I have EVER experienced. From sparklers, to opa's, to breaking plates in traditional Greek style, to so many complimentary things, it was such a great experience (party!). If you are in the area, go ahead and give this place a try. It's a bit expensive, but Max will give you an experience worth your time.

Yelp
A few things to note before you book this restaurant...just so you know what you're signing up for! -It is VERY loud inside. If you plan on having conversations you must sit outside! It is more of a club atmosphere, rather than fine dining. - the server is very energetic, be sure you're going there to let loose (they may occasionally drop some tropical shots at your table) - After 6 pm it is incredibly dark! I personally think the best time to come would be for happy hour!...Just before the music is on blast, while you can still see your food, and when the prices are right. Spanakopita- so tasty! I would've never usually ordered these, but YUM! Half chicken- this was cooked deliciously. The skin was crispy and the au jus it was cooked in was sooo yummy. Thicker parts of the chicken were a bit dry, but with the juice, it worked. Truffle croquettes- nothing to write home about. Very mild Lamb skewers- not my favorite, but cooked nicely. All cocktails were delicious and very sassy!
google avatar

Linda Y.

Yelp
Ambiance: music is way too loud and I mean loud! I had to wait to speak to my friend in between songs bc it was just way too damn loud. The interior is cute and very Instagramable- you're greater with a lot of OPA and screaming FYI they have a belly dancer who just swings a knife and fabric around and they have the sparklers go off every couple of minutes. To be honesty it's fun but I didn't enjoy the smell constantly being there when I was trying to eat. Service: service was great but this place is just overstimulation on steroids. It maybe other people's vibe but certainly not mine Food: I don't think people come here for the food to be honest. Everything was bland and the drinks were inconsistent. The first round was made and the second round tasted way different even tho we ordered the same drinks.

Yelp
My friend and I went here last night for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The owner was super kind and (in true European fashion) I loved how they didn't rush us through the meal which lasted 2-3 hours. The live entertainment was also super fun! We had a variety of food to try between us and the fish was my favorite out of everything! the drinks were also super impressive and tasty and worth the higher prices you see on the menu. We also tried the vodka shots and they were also super sweet! As far as parking goes, metered parking is available but they do also have a valet stand. I recommend making reservations ahead of time as the place does get busy. I'll definitely return and bring friends with me when I'm in town!

Yelp
I'd recommend for cocktails only - not for a sit down dinner. The main guy (manager or owner idk) was so rude I couldn't believe it. He was upset because I made a reservation but apparently he called me to confirm and I didn't answer. Who answers random numbers anymore? Lol sorry no. He ended up just walking away after I killed him with kindness. If the hostess didn't apologize on his behalf and give me a look suggesting "he's an a**hole" I would have just left. We got sat, and I was ready to start off fresh as I didn't have to interact with him again. Servers and hostess were all very nice. Very cool interior and vibe. Food was decent, but overpriced for average food. You're really paying for the "entertainment". The "entertainment" was constant moments of them coming out with bottle-girl type sparklers and yelling over club-like music. Impossible to talk to your table, as it never lets up or gives you breaks. Near the end of our meal it was apparently the start of a DJ and we sat right in front. So odd to have DJ speaker blaring at your dinner table.

Yelp
Vibe: 10/10. Service was amazing. Shoutout o the hosts they were sooo fun! Good food, i'd maybe skip on the spicy tuna crispy rice. Yeah not sure why i ordered that but the potato croquettes and hummus? CHEFS KISS. I also ordered the half chicken.... yum... And the drinks? SO PRETTTY + CUTE AND uh.... let's just say i was having a ball by the end of the night.
google avatar

Anna A.

Yelp
Ambiance was nice, we waited really long to sit even though we had reservations. Food was nothing special. Bartenders had a bit of an attitude. It was a very small restaurant. Maybe it was just an off day but I'm not sure if I'd give it a second chance.
google avatar

Dhanushree P.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, I really did! But unfortunately it missed the mark for me. First of all, this is a club that serves limited food, not a restaurant. We visited on a Wednesday evening ~before 7~ and this place was LOUD!! Like loud enough to not be able to hear the person who's sitting across you. The food was below average. We ordered a little bit of everything. The spanakopita was not good, tasted like a microwaved frozen dish, they did not have any of the cheesy dish that they're known for, we had a lot of other insignificant appetizers that were not satisfying at all. The saving grace of this "dinner" were the drinks, croquettes, and the charred eggplant. Honestly, I would hope that after spending about $500 on a meal, I would actually feel satisfied. But unfortunately, none of us did. The service was pretty decent. Our server was attentive, and the belly dancing performances were great.
google avatar

Nichole F.

Yelp
Delicious food. Great service. The manager is AWESOME. Indoor and outdoor service one pet peeve is that I wish that it was stated that the belly dancing was at night. We would've booked our reservations for that time. Otherwise everything was delicious and the service was great.
google avatar

Karri D.

Yelp
This place is FUN. From live drummers to a DJ, to complimentary shooters and sparklers, it's a party from the moment you sit down. However, if that's not your vibe, you probably shouldn't come here because it is LOUD. I kind of expected it to just be a place where you go for the vibe/atmosphere but the food was actually really great! I was pleasantly surprised. I got truffle croquettes, meatballs, saganaki (definitely order this flaming cheese!), Greek salad, chicken and countless drinks, which are all aesthetically pleasing (and some of them come on fire!). The servers get very busy but they definitely go above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. I'd add this to your list for LA!
google avatar

Ani G.

Yelp
Service was good, food was ok, prices are high. Vibe was ok too, music extremely loud. Valet parking $12

Yelp
Looking for a fun place to take your friends out visiting from out of town? Consider this place next time. This place gets loud, crazy, and fun. Food and drinks are delicious. We ordered the wagyu steak, charred appetizers, some cocktails, and sides. The food here was amazing! I loved all the cocktails too. This definitely felt like I was somewhere in Mykonos. If you want to try the food, but don't necessarily need the chaotic scene, come before the sun sets. It'll be a little calmer

Yelp
I made reservations through OpenTable well in advance for a Friday at 7:00 in the evening. A few days later, I received a phone call from this restaurant asking me for my credit card information in order to hold this reservation. I thought this was odd because other restaurants that require a down payment usually ask for it at time of booking. Then, the day of my reservation, I received another call stating that OpenTable was having a glitch and if I receive an email stating that my reservation has been canceled, I should ignore it. Parking: Since this is a hotspot with tons of shopping and restaurants, good luck finding street parking (meters and permîts required). So, you need to valet ($15) for this restaurant, but $10 for others because they validate for their customers (unlike Theia). Customer Service: The host was nice, but started acting weird when he seated us. I had reservations for five and four arrived instead. I called and made sure it was okay, so I didn't understand what the confusion was with the host. He also quickly told me that we could only have the table till 9:00pm before they would need to seat other customers. The host seemed to be the one in charge of bringing free shots to tables to welcome the guests. I watched as everyone around us received a shot except our table. I had to have my waitress go and get some for us. Also, the host drank a few shots himself with the customers he liked. Food and Drinks: They have a limited menu. We had a potato appetizer and it was pretty tasty. I also ordered the burger and it was also tasty. As far as cocktails, they are all about the look and not the taste. The bartenders did a great job with presentation, but need to hone in on taste. Ambiance and Entertainment: They have outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating is nothing to rave about and this is the first place they allow guests to sit until it's full and then they seat guests inside (wow). The inside decor was more decorative, but on a small scale. There was a DJ and a drummer which were extremely talented. I enjoyed the music, even though it was so loud that the waitress had to be cheek to cheek with us in order to hear us (lol). The waitresses and host would often come by with sparklers yelling OPA, dancing, and passing out shots. I think they did the sparklers a little too often because the smoke from the sparklers was horrible.
google avatar

Kshama P.

Yelp
Feel really bad for the service staff as I write this but no, don't l go here if you're genuinely looking for decent food. We made reservations via OpenTable for weekend 7pm. Went in and found the place empty. They tried seating us out at first because they said inside gets really loud with DJ and performers at 8. Throughout the time we stayed (30 mins) the place was pretty empty. We got two drinks - yuzu god (reeks of egg odor) and the Mr. purple one ( a weird take on a marg). They also offered complementary shots for my partner's bday celebration which tasted like medicine (blue pineapple vodk based). Food was appalling - pita breads were stale, store bought, burnt to a crisp black. Hummus was chunky oily. Prawn skewers were inedible, the prawn rubbery overcooked and the cucumber below it soggy and warm. Zucchini fritters which were highly recommended by the staff were the worst thing on the menu. Throughout this the service was great, prompt and friendly. However, I wish they'd have noticed that we left with most of our food untouched/unfinished and did something to check up on that. We walked by the area again around 9 and saw the place packed. So maybe it gets more lively then, but it's not a place you want to visit if you want to EAT for the money you're spending
google avatar

Alejandra P.

Yelp
They're excellent. The guys are so sweet and the vibe is perfection. The pita bread melts in your mouth literally. Great happy hour place. The music is a vibe. Street parking so it's luck of the draw. I'll be coming back- with my girlfriend next time!

Yelp
Ambiance: the establishment is located on the busy 3rd street, parking would be very challenging in this area though they have valet available, clubbing style bar restaurant, loud music and hype vibes, the sparklers here and there for their shots have enlightened the night Service: reservation is highly recommended, this place gets packed easily at night, reception is very hospitable with warm greetings once upon arrival, get seated promptly, attentively refilled water and served food, though it could be slow to get their attention sometimes as it's so busy at night Food & Drink: variety choices on the menu, special Greek inspired food and drinks Spanakopita - **** baked cigars filled with spinach, feta, leeks, garlic and lemon, layers of flavors and so creamy, perfectly combined with drink, recommend Smoky Colorado Rack of Lamb - ***** half rack, chimichurri, red wine sauce or bernaise sauce, adequately marinated, not overly salty, cooked perfectly medium, crispy outside and so juicy and tender inside, the chimichurri sauce with vinegar taste, work the best to highlight the flavors of lamb, highly recommend Flamed Sticky Pudding with Toffee - **** very well presented desserts, nothing can beat the fire on sweets, sweet taste and dense texture, recommend Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Purple - **** Tequila blanco, fresh lime, Angostura bitters, butterfly pea flower tea, tajín rim, beautifully colored of orange and purple, refreshing bold taste, recommend Price: moderate portions and very reasonable prices for this location, expect $30+ for food plus any alcoholic drinks

Yelp
My husband and I came here for happy hour, which offers cocktails and small bites at a pretty sizable discount. The environment is very much a party/celebration space. I may have given this restaurant a 4/5 because there was a notable delay in between ordering and receiving our food. However, the owner chatted with us and told us about his life and we really thought he was a kind, genuine guy who is invested in creating a great ambiance/experience. The spanakopita was great on the first order but burnt the second order. Other than that, we had a nice time. I'd definitely come back for happy hour again.

Yelp
Theia is not just a restaurant but an experience. You have to come here to fully experience what it's like especially on the weekends. If you're looking for a party, fun dining experience, look no further than Theia. At some point in your night, you'll see the staff singing and dancing around with sparklers with loud music handing out some drinks like it's every person in the restaurant's birthday. However, if you're looking for a quiet intimate night on the weekend, Theia may not be your option. Drinks: Theia's Cloud - It's a fun cocktail with cotton candy. The wife loved it. Love Letter - It was a delicious tequila drink, but had a bitter finish. Food: 1) Spanakopita - I enjoyed the flavor, but I wish that the flaky and crisp crust was even thoughout. 2) Steak Tartare was excellent! 3) Octopus - very tender and yummy. We thought that the potatos served with the octopus were very bland though 4) 1/2 Chicken - I was worried that the chicken would be dry not that flavorful, but I was wrong. The chicken was juicy and tender even the breast. The sauce was delicious. The staff made sure I was dousing the sauce throughout to get that even flavor. Service: I haven't had this much of an engaging and amazing service at a restaurant in a very long time. All of the staff were on top of getting our orders and making sure everything we needed was taken care of even before we got to ask. They were all so friendly and it felt like we were at a party they were hosting.

Yelp
Service (5/5) Ok, let me just premise this review by saying that the staff was super fantastic. The store manager accommodated us, and we were compensated with blue shots for some error (e.g., drinks were accidentally spilled on me. One of the service staff that spilled the drinks on me knew that the mistake had happened, but did nothing except for what I thought was placing a complementary drinks but he took it away. We had to bring it up to our waitress about the issue). Generally, our waitress was fast and efficient, no complaints there. Food (2/5): honestly, I'm not a big fan. If you're gonna charge $42 for a lobster pasta, I would expect like 20 more spaghetti strings. The portion was measured to fill a 10-year-old child's stomach. Drinks (1/5): Yuzu god tasted really good, but for $19, I expect to be a bit buzzed, and I'm a lightweight. I don't know how much alcohol they put into these drinks, but it's clearly not enough. I would NOT recommend getting the drinks here if they're being stingy with the alcohol. Ambiance (3/5): This place genuinely is a very fun place to hang out with friends. The DJ played some really good music, we had performances, lots of sparklers. This place is a hybrid between a club and a sit-down restaurant, and if you're into a more DL dinner scene, don't go here. You won't be able to hear your friends talking because the music is deafening. The speaker should not be placed so close to some of the tables; we were originally seated next to the speaker, and I think the internal structures of my ears are fundamentally altered after that night. I truly had a great time, though.

Yelp
I enjoyed my time at Theia, it is a good experience, fun and engaging. We made reservations for a Tuesday at 7 so it was not very busy. Around 8ish a dancer started performing with veils or fire what it looked like every 15 min or so. The employees were also going around with sparkles and giving a round of free shots per table throughout the night. Max, Desi and Cesar were awesome, polite and gave us good service. We got spanakopita, charred octopus, lamb, mussles with saffron, and orzo. Everything was good, just a little too rich so you felt full easily. For drinks we got love letters and Gin & tonic which were amazing. Notes: the tip suggestions at the bottom are way more than the porcentage it shows so double check.

Yelp
Super mediocre. Food was below subpar. We had maybe a table of 11 right by the door and it was quite chilly. You see a constant parade of sparklers and the room gets pretty smokey. However - the food was sooo below mid. Valet is $16-18. Place is pretty jam packed as it's a trendy Hollywood "party vibe" type of restaurant. You can go for the vibe, but the food is not good. Overpriced, overcooked, and nothing that flavorful. Everything from the pasta, fish, and apps (dips, shrimp, etc.) You're paying for the experience in Hollywood, not the food. The scene and belly dancing was good but like I said above, you are going for the experience.

Yelp
If you want to have an amazing time and in party mode, you have to come to Theia in West Hollywood/3rd Street! I promise you you'll have a fun upbeat night and immerse yourself in delicious food and drinks! The service is top notch, always keeping you in a playful joyful mood. I love it when my food and drinks are on fire, they have dishes that will light up the place. Be sure to check out Theia soon!

Yelp
When we were first seated, I was surprised by the energy and enthusiasm of the host. For some reason, I was expecting a quiet, bistro-like environment, and couldn't have been more wrong. This is a bonafide club that serves greek food, not a greek restaurant. The cocktails we tried were excellent, and the energy, free shots and sparklers and screaming of "oppa!" were definitely a blast. The music is LOUD and people are definitely here to have a good time. The food is a solid 3/5, good to accompany a fun evening out, but not really worth coming out here just to eat. It all sort of just missed the mark; has potential but not worth coming back to eat. They have great happy hour prices, too, although the menu didn't specify when it was. Please don't bring your dog here like some people did; it's cruel. TLDR: Fun for a night out, meh for the food.

Yelp
Service was attentive and friendly. Festive even! They brought a shot like it was bottle service in Vegas! The two women at the next table had a birthday and they really did it up for her. Their outdoor dining space is fairly large and even the indoor space is open and safe in terms of airflow. The whisky cocktail Toki & Theia was very refreshing, not too sweet, and had nice subtle complexity. I highly recommend it! The spanakopita was a tad on the mushy side but tasted like legit spanakopita. The prawns were surprisingly filling. They were on a bed of cabbage salad that was dressed with pickled cabbage and pea puree. Nice and light.

Yelp
Wow. What an experience. I made a reservation for two for 8pm. My boyfriend and I got seated inside and before we could even look at the online menu, we heard "OPA!" And the staff lit sparklers and started dancing/singing around the restaurant. There were two female dancers as well who would gladly accept tip money. These little entertainment bits would be very frequent, seemingly every 10-15 minutes. Moreover, the music is VERY loud and the lighting reminds me of a bar/club scene. Altogether, it was a very loud and bustling scene. Not great for dates, get to know each other's, or honestly anything that requires talking.... FOOD: it was great. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the order of lamb that we shared. It was flavorful, moist, and not as gamey (in a good way!). The spanakopita was also a nice dish: light, flaky and full of spinach. We also had Love Letters cocktail, which was cute and delicious!!! If you're looking for quality food in an extremely loud and lively scene, this is your place! This isn't really my vibe (I could barely hear my boyfriend talking: the music is that loud!) but I understand others do like this vibe. My tip is to ask to be seated outside: this gives you the best of both worlds-- lively scene but still can hold a conversation with others. They have outdoor heaters so you'll be warm and toasty! Other notes: - it took us a long time to find good parking and we came on a Thursday night! I can't even imagine coming on a Friday or weekend. Take parking into account.

Yelp
Fun vibe and some of the dishes were good. The place is much smaller than I imagined. Thankfully we had reservations - I wouldn't come back without them. The place clearly likes to party. They walk around with sparklers and dry ice and also have performers. They also hand out shots and sparklers too. They must have a sparkler budget. The Love Letters drink was tasty. The server was nice. The steak tartare and tuna tartare were the best dishes. None of the desserts were good enough to warrant a second bite.

Yelp
Absolutely the most fun and interactive dining experience I've ever had in LA! And it truly is an EXPERIENCE! OPA! I had a reservation that my party was a little late for, and thank goodness the team at Theía is so kind and accommodating and were still able to seat us. For reference there is some limited metered parking on the main street, and permit parking only on the side streets. I started off with the Love Letters cocktail, which was super cute and had a nice smokiness from the mezcal and a touch of sweetness from the lychee. My friend had the Toki & Theía which was light in flavor and sweet which I really enjoyed tasting. For starters, we ordered spanakopita, smoky baba ganoush, htipiti, and the truffle croquettes to share. All 3 people in my party LOVED the truffle croquettes and I highly recommend them! The smoky baba ganoush was such an interesting flavor and I had never had a dish quite like it. The smokiness and bitterness paired nicely with all the other dishes we tried, like the sweetness from the beet salad and the red pepper and feta htipiti. While eating, I've never had such an interactive dining experience! Fun, loud music with dancing and clapping from the team at Theía and guests alike. Lots of sparklers and plates being broken with lots of "OPA!" Guests having fun taking turns breaking plates on the ground. Complimentary shots being handed out! This is not just a another restaurant and cocktail bar, and most definitely not an average one! I went with two friends on a Wednesday so I'm sure on a Friday/Saturday when they have a DJ it would be even more fun. For mains, a friend and I shared half a rack of lamb with the chimichurri sauce, and our other friend had the beet salad as she was vegetarian. Quite honestly the best lamb I've had in LA. Cooked to perfection and the flavor was amazing! For dessert, my table ordered the lavender crème brûlée and flaming sticky toffee pudding. The lavender crème brûlée was extremely good with a strong flavor of lavender and paired nicely with the tartness of the strawberries it came with. The flaming sticky toffee pudding was like a perfect encapsulation of Theía: performative, rich, complex flavor, and perfect for sharing. I recommend both! The flames were a great touch to end our meal. TL;DR: cool cocktails, get the truffle croquettes and lamb, wonderful desserts, super fun place. OPA!

Yelp
Most rudest restaurant ever! Came for my friends birthday and they ruined it for us. They made us leave after 2 hours, we were still working on our food and they started taking it away and asked us to leave our table because some other people have reservations and they had no other tables available for them so they decided to tell us to leave when they had just started playing the music one hour ago. Not to mention, they started the music late because they were waiting for people to come. We are very dissapointed. This is the last time I will ever come here!!!!!!

Yelp
Excellent service and top notch entertainment to accompany the meal. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I will be coming her again.

Yelp
What a delightful experience we had! Max was so welcoming and kind. He even gave me a tip for how to make the branzino I make at home as good as his! And the skillet cookie was gooey and delicious! The only complaints are that the vegetarian entrée options were quite limited - but they offered an off-menu item. And while the music was fun and eclectic, it was so loud that it was even hard to talk outside. Would absolutely recommend and return!

Yelp
Had an incredible dinner experience here on a weeknight. The staff really knows how to put on a good time! The drinks are perfect, especially for us girls. They regularly have live entertainment, they had a belly dancer when we went. The food is just right. We loved the beet salad and roast chicken. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great dinner and a fun time!

Yelp
Giant cookie skillet was really small for $22. Like really small. Really really small. Nice environment and they come out with shots for the table pretty frequently.
