Tonir Cafe is a cozy Armenian eatery perfect for kabob lovers, where you can indulge in mouthwatering beef lule and affordable takeout delights.
"This Armenian restaurant in Burbank is a bonafide kabob palace, and a great choice for when you feel like you’re just one overdraft away from starting an OnlyFans account. There’s a ton of excellent options on-a-stick here, from chicken breast to beef shish, but our favorite by far is the beef lule. Also, an extra bag of six pitas is just $3 - some might say that that’s cheaper than therapy. Available for takeout and delivery - call (818) 563-6666, or order through their website." - kat hong
"Tonir Cafe makes fantastic kabobs, from chicken breast to beef shish. But the standout is the beef lule, made with ground beef, onions, and parsley slow-cooked over an open flame. If you’re looking for an affordable, quick lunch in Burbank, Tonir takeout is your best option. Also, in the event you need a good stoplight car snack, grab an extra bag of pita for $3." - brant cox, sylvio martins

It’s the kind of dish you try once and then immediately make follow-up plans to eat again. If you’re looking for an affordable, on-the-go lunch in Burbank, Tonir takeout is your best option. Also, in the event you need a good car snack to wolf down at stoplights, grab an extra bag of six pitas for only $3." - brant cox

"Gayane Movsesyan and brother David have run this Armenian restaurant near the Hollywood Burbank Airport since 2011. A tonir is a traditional wood-burning clay oven that’s frequently built into the ground. Tonir Cafe’s charcoal grill is more contemporary but still helps to maximize grandma Siranoush’s recipes. Standout skewers include pork loin, shish (sirloin), beef lule, fatty lamb ribs, and tapaka (spatchcocked Cornish game hen). Simple seasoning includes garlic powder and red pepper. Plates come with a choice of rice, French fries, or salad, plus two appetizers. That could mean hummus (classic or jalapeño) and pickled beets. Several kebabs are also available in pita sandwiches or a la carte." - Joshua Lurie
