Vibrant, compact eatery serving halal, homestyle Thai food and drinks.
"Top Thai Vintage has become a go-to for great halal Thai food amongst NYC’s Muslim community. From classic pad Thai to crispy duck tamarind, you’ll see why we rave about this place as soon as you take your first bite. Obviously, you can’t go wrong with a classic like drunken noodles, but their grilled skirt steak with jaew sauce is some of the most tender steak we’ve ever had and one of the first things you should order. Another excellent option is their appetizer platter, which comes with three appetizers of your choice. We usually go for the crab rangoon, fried calamari, and (more) grilled skirt steak." - Jiniya Azad, Sameen Choudhry

"Occupying the former space of Do Hwa, the pioneering Greenwich Village Korean restaurant, Top Thai Vintage has a festive, Thai-village decor, including some charming wooden booths, and a menu that covers the most popular Siamese recipes. The food is all halal, so there’s no pork, but there’s a full bar. A couple of favorite selections on a first visit included a tart duck salad with pineapple, cashews, and baby plum tomatoes; and a version of the creamy Chiang Mai soup khao soi, with pickled mustard and chile paste on the side." - Eater Staff
