French toast flights, lobster & grits, and mimosas
"This Italian spot is offering takeout and curbside pickup." - adrian kane
"Originally focused on Italian fare, Truth Restaurant’s brunch proved so popular with the Bronzeville community that they made it available all day. The casual spot serves French toast flights, biscuits & gravy, and Cajun crawfish omelets indoors and on its tented, heated patio. Fans of the old menu will find spicy grilled chicken alfredo pasta and calamari fritti available for lunch. Online ordering is available." - Naomi Waxman
"A contemporary-style restaurant with an open-view kitchen where two different styles of cuisine can be enjoyed: creative tapas influenced by different traditions, or more classic local dishes. The restaurant is particularly renowned for its choice of around a dozen imaginative small appetisers." - Michelin Inspector
"The large outdoor space at Truth Italian is perfect for groups, and the walled-off, covered patio means you can’t use the weather as an excuse to cancel. Also worth noting - this place serves a fantastic breakfast (with lots of french toast variations) seven days a week, and their long mimosa menu makes it ideal for a boozy weekend brunch" - adrian kane
"One of our favorite reasons to visit this Italian restaurant is for their breakfast (which is decidedly un-Italian). Luckily, Truth is open for brunch on December 31st. So, if you couldn’t care less about Champagne toasts at midnight, or are someone who prefers to be in bed by 9pm on New Year’s Eve, come here for a french toast flight, waffles, or lobster and grits. Just don’t forget the mimosas, and you can call it a day - or better yet, a year." - adrian kane
