12 Best Pizza Spots in Charleston | Eater Carolinas

"The guys from Graft Wine Bar opened a pizzeria next door, along with Raleigh chef Anthony Guerra of Oakwood Pizza Box. The result is a hip pizza parlor with great wines and a large selection of pies and toppings. Go traditional with a round or go thicker with a square. We recommend a combo of sausage, shallots, green peppers, mushrooms, and olives. Tutti also offers a gluten-free option. Best for: Great wines, cool soundtrack, and fresh-out-of-the-oven pies" - Denise K. James

Charleston’s Best New Restaurants | Eater Carolinas

"Graft co-owners, Miles White and Femi Oyediran, teamed up with Raleigh chef Anthony Guerra, of Oakwood Pizza Box, to open pizza shop Tutti. Giant pizza ovens anchor the space, and the team hustles to put out primo pies, with a round, square, or gluten-free option. Add your own toppings, from shallots to sausage. And since the Graft guys are involved, the wine selection bests any other pizza spot in town." - Erin Perkins

Really cool, casual spot. We ordered 2 pies (they are huge) and hung out outside to enjoy them. They were delicious! The crust is a little crunchy and perfect for dipping ~ They have dippies available so be sure to get one. The owner chatted with us for a while - nice guy doing cool things

My wife and I decided to check out Tuttis! We’ve only heard amazing things & had to see for ourselves. We were seated fairly soon & the staff is SO nice! Wine is so good. Best Caesar salad I’ve had in a while! Less is best here when it comes to the pizza. We decided to go simple pepperoni & it was probably the best pepperoni pizza I have ever had in town! If you’re looking for good pizza either dining in or to-go. Tuttis is the spot!

Google
Extremely tasty with a perfectly crisp crust. As a northerner at heart, it has hard to find good pizza in Charleston. For me, this is the best I have found to date. A must try

Loving this new pizza spot! This was my second visit. Takeout was a smooth process for our "pie day" pizza party. This time I choose to dine-in with a friend. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There was plenty of space as well as cute bar seating. Definitely ask for the chili oil sauce! It was a delicious addition to the Za. We opted for a custom pepperoni, meatball, and olive round crust pizza. I remain impressed with the size and price for the pizza. Based off socials I was expecting personal pies and was pleasantly surprised. Hot take...after trying both round and square pizzas, I think I like the square whole ingredients pizza more. The crust had better flavor and texture for me compared to the round. Both red and white sauce bases are delicious. Definitely try one of each and decide!

Google
Highly recommend the sesame crust. Perfect crunch and flavor. The meatballs were great and we finally found small flavorful pepperoni. Check this place out, you won't regret it! Bonus, they give you fresh basil.

Google
Charleston’s never been known for their pizza…and that’s okay. But let me tell you, Tutti does it right. The pizza is truly excellent with a firm undercarriage, perfectly charred crust, and fresh ingredients. They truly nailed the texture, too. The pizza pictured is half pepperoni and half house made meatballs. The pepperoni was great, but the meatballs were phenomenal. They were nicely seasoned and aromatic. I was about 20 min late for my pick up order so it doesn’t look as crispy as I’m sure it did when it was ready, but I popped it in the oven after taking this pic and it was incredible. Although there isn’t that much competition, this is by far the best pizza in Charleston. Cin cin e buon appetito!

Google
We absolutely loved everything about this place! The pizza was great! Make sure to add sesame seeds to the crust, so good! The service was fast and everyone was so nice. Great music and vibes too!

Google
Grabbed a square pie on opening weekend with a side of Caesar for dipping crust, but it wasn't needed. I will be dreaming about the crust on that pizza. Light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The breading was not very heavy and it's not often the crust feels like the best part! Everything was fresh and pizza cooked just right. Finally some good pizza back in Charleston!

Yelp
My husband, mother and law, and I went to Tutti for dinner recently. I'd had really enjoyed going with a close friend there once before and was dreaming about my next visit. It was an outstanding experience both times. We did wait a little for the pizza to come out this visit. When it was ready, they said it had gotten a little too crispy and asked if we wanted to wait for another. Since it was my husband & MIL's first time we said we were good to wait for a fresher one. They went above and beyond since we had to wait- offering us drinks on the house, both managers/owners stopping by, boxing the crispier pizza for us to take home (which wasn't awful, but the fresher one was better, they were right) & brought mini cannolis to us at the end on the house. Also noticed they make housemade ranch now, which is solid (the first time it was hidden valley cups). The service is unmatched here and the pizza is really just beyond. Can't go wrong on either of the salads either. Also found out they have a sister restaurant in Raleigh, NC which is exciting. I'll be hitting that up and telling friends & family about it - Oakwood Pizza Box. Thanks Tutti & owners and staff for a great visit and great food!

Yelp
Confirm that Tutti's is open, GO EARLY, and grab a seat. Yes, we mean early, hence the caps. As we were leaving, pizza lovers were having small parking lot picnics. We're thrilled to have a new tasty downtown pizza option. Yes, we miss Uneeda more than the rest of the locals and MAY even dream about Uneeda occasionally. Great sit down (downtown) pizza has been impossible the last few years. Yes, Tutti's pizza is fresh (cooks were 15 feet away), tasty (sweet NY style sauce), and flavorful (buttery/garlicky crust). We also enjoyed the Caesar salad with its mild dressing. Yum. Wine list complemented the menu well. We ordered one house glass, then an entire bottle to celebrate our anniversary. Abby (server) was friendly, made great suggestions, had zero mistakes, and helped pace our meal. We look forward to our next Tutti's pie!

Yelp
Tutti Pizza is hands down our favorite pizza spot in Charleston. We've picked up from them twice now and both times were perfect. The square-cut sesame crust with pepperoni is insane--crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of sesame to make it feel unique without being overpowering. We also tried the NY-style margherita, which had that perfect balance of chewy crust, fresh sauce, and gooey mozzarella. The quality is consistent, the ingredients taste fresh, and honestly--it blows Melfi's out of the water. If you're looking for the best pizza in Charleston, Tutti is it.

Yelp
Great pizza shop. The pizza had a perfect sauce cheese ratio. Excellent tomato sauce, not sweet. Crunchy crust with no flop. We got a half cheese half pepperoni round pie. My husband got the Caesar salad which he loved. I didn't try it bc the dressing had anchovies, womp. Large wine list for bottled wine, smaller by the glass. Based on my friendly server's description I got the saucy white and was very happy with it. Kid friendly my son had a yoo hoo in a kids cup. Large handicap accessible all gender bathroom with baby changing table. Small lot but paid parking across the street was easy enough

Yelp
Another 5 star experience at Tutti! We had the same wonderful waitress and excellent pizza. This time we opted for the square sesame seed pizza with mushroom and meatball. It exceeded our expectations per usual. If you arrive early, there is no wait. Such a chill and quiet atmosphere. The only place to get pizza in Charleston for both dine in and take out!
google avatar

Yelp
Take out review: purely basing this on the quality of take out; how the pizza stands up to travel and the test of time. Also, adding that we tried the square pizza this time - superior to round IMO! Almost a focaccia like bread. So good! Overall, the pizza tasted just as good as in house- I also loved that they gave you basil on the side so it didn't go soggy and black in transit! So thoughtful! Easy ordering and easy pick up!

Yelp
Great pizza and wine in a bright new space. Service is attentive, music at the right volume and a lively buzzing atmosphere with the smell of delicious pizza. The wine selection is well curated, there're other menu items including salads, and beer to choose from too.

Yelp
Amazing pizza in Charleston and I'm from Connecticut, so hard to please when it comes to pizza! The gluten free crust did feel like more of a focaccia with a crispy edge but was really good. The round pizza was SO good! We arrived at 4:15 and there was no wait on a Friday, but we came back again around 8 to get cannolis and the wait for a table was over 30 minutes (still not bad, just go early if you don't want to wait!) absolutely will be back, and recommend it!

Yelp
I absolutely thought that Tuttis lived up to the hype. I loved the decor and overall cozy yet trendy vibe of the interior. Being able to see the kitchen and pizza ovens is such a unique feature. Our waitress Grace was super attentive to our needs and provided good recommendations for first time visitors! The pizza itself was absolutely delicious and I would definitely go back to try the other styles and toppings!

Yelp
Excellent pizza, chill, casual vibe and very friendly staff! It's been a struggle finding great pizza in the Low Country and Tutti definitely delivered! Delcious! We opted for the round pie with meatballs and mushrooms, although the square with sesame seeds seems to be their gold standard. Perfect,, crunchy NY style crust with sauce that was extremely fresh and robust, just like you woukd find in NYC! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
The pizza was delicious. The dough was perfect and the pepperoni were delicious. We got the white sauce with half pepperoni and half just cheese and it was great.

Yelp
You just have to come here. You HAVE to. Their crust is absolutely delicious and they are really raising the bar for pizza in downtown CHS. My personal favorite is the tomato pie; I literally cannot get enough of it and I think I could eat an entire one by myself. And they're big! There is so much yummy garlicky flavor and having no cheese on it doesn't make you feel sick or full quickly. Tutti's is slowly becoming one of my favorite places. Service is impeccable each time I have gone. The sesame crust is a must try, but I'm telling you the tomato pie is where it's at! The inside is small so take out is a good option. A little pricy but I think it's worth it!

Yelp
*chef's kiss* 10/10 -- As a card-carrying pizza snob, these guys n gals NAILED IT. Food: so dang good. Perfectly crisp crust, premium ingredients... the sauce OMG THE SAUCE. Service: fantastic. Ambiance: it's a fun, casual pizza counter with a handful of tables. We sat at the pizza bar, which got a bit hot, TBH -- will request a table next time, HOWEVER, there's no reservations here and you can't really be picky/choosey about table availability. If super-casual is an issue for you, get takeout -- they've got a great online ordering platform or you can do a window-walk-up. Pro tips: - make sure you put your name in by 7p for a duo; 6p for a quad party or more -- they close at 9p and fill up quickly. - if you're looking for a cocktail, you're SOL, but you can go across the street and get one. - they have beer & wine, but no sparkling rosé (womp womp) the prosecco was good tho.

Eddie T.

Yelp
If the pizza equaled the politeness and hospitality of the staff -- Tutti would get 5 stars. -- crust is too dry too heavy and overcooked -- minimal portion of mozzarella -- sauce is too sweet A quality pie should have a light crust - yet just firm enough to carry the toppings - finished by an airy chewy center Tutti's crust is "plank" like I've been led astray a few times by Post and Courier's Milner -- this was the last .

Yelp
Hands down the best straight up pizza in Charleston. Incredibly easy to order and pick up from the take out window. Grace was super helpful and friendly. Pizzas are a lot bigger than we expected! But no one complained about the ample leftovers. Can't wait to go back. SPOILER ALERT: Went back 4 days later for the square pizza. Sooo good. Got the sesame crust - delicious, but messy! That being said...worth it.

Yelp
Absolutely Loved it! Service was great and pizza delicious. We tried the sesame crust square with some pepperoni and mushrooms. Perfect! Will be back!

Ryan P.

Yelp
Never imagined I'd leave less than 5 stars for Tutti. The service was disappointing. We noticed the pizza was taking a while. We were glad we got a salad. However, we were shocked that our server had cleared our salad without asking. We were saving it to have with our pizza. They didn't ask if we wanted new plates. I had to ask for more water. Although the glasses are deceiving because they are half-frosted. The pizza is 5-Star. Next time we will take it to go. The salad thing was really ridiculous. Server was nice but just oblivious and 0 effort.

Yelp
Phenomenal pizza, crust was perfect, sauce was amazing, and you could tell pepperoni was high quality. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Amazing pizza and atmosphere. Unlike any other pizza place in the neighborhood! Will come back.

Yelp
Best pizza in downtown Charleston. The space is great and the service was excellent. Their gluten free pizza is the best I've had and tastes exactly like the non gluten free pizza. Great wine bar next door.

Robert T.

Yelp
Hands down- the best pizza in ChuckTown! My first time there and it was a knockout. I tried 4 different pies and each one was distinct and delicious.

Cindy P.

Yelp
Amazing food, amazing service... I love Tutti! Best pizza in Charleston by far. We let the owner pick out pie. Femi is the best

Yelp
I'm from NYC... I haven't enjoyed pizza in CHS until yesterday. Service, slice... place is something special

Michael M.

Yelp
Pizza was awesome 50/50! Next time Square pizza with sesame seeds. Caesar Salad and an IPA

Madieg 2.

Yelp
Food was 10/10. Excellent pizza and salad but the service made it a miserable experience. Waitress seemed to gravitate towards the fancy older women in dresses rather than the two 20 year olds trying to have a date night. Waitress spoke maximum 10 words to us and I had to ask for ranch 3 separate times before actually getting any. The host helped us more than the waitress did. Will not be back!

Noreen A.

Yelp
Best gluten free pizza in Charleston hands down and some of the best I've ever had! As someone who is gluten intolerant and a pizza snob it's been difficult finding a good spot in Charleston. But now the search is over!!

Dylan G.

Yelp
Best pizza on the Charleston Peninsula by a long shot. I've been all around the world and all around the country. I've lived here for 25 years, and I've tried all of the dedicated pizza joints around the peninsula, and by far does Tutti's has the best pizza. Perfect crispy crust, and the most flavorful and delicious red sauce. The cheese isn't going to fall off the entire slice either, and you don't have to wring the oil out of it before you eat it. Im not ashamed to admit I got it 4 nights in a row, and I do not regret every dollar I lost. If you're in the mood for pizza and you go anywhere else than Tutti's, then you are wasting your time and money.
