"Chef-owner Adam Ross’s impeccable food is a bit under the radar thanks to Twisted Fern’s strip mall location. Still, you’ll come back again and again for appetizers like focaccia with whipped ricotta, garlic sesame crispy chickpeas, and smoked trout dip, along with mains including a double-wide pork chop from Niman Ranch, Utah elk, and pork ragu with house-made rigatoni. Expanding on Twisted Fern’s Italian-focused success, Ross has just opened a second restaurant in the heart of town, Loma, tucked behind Main Street for even more house-made plates of pasta and wood-fired pizzas." - Katie Shapiro

"You might quickly browse Twisted Fern’s menu and think “this looks familiar,” but when you take a second look, there are some interesting twists here. There's a blue corn crepe with a corn and poblano filling and the duck has a side of blackberry-lemon-rhubarb compote. The menu changes often to showcase local in-season produce, but some of the mainstays are musts, including the smoked trout dip, made with cured Utah trout, and the three-cheese mac that combines cheddar, fontina, and gruyère from a nearby creamery. The minimalist dining room is bright and open with great natural light." - jene shaw

Don’t write this place off because it’s off the beaten path. This may have been the best dinner we had in Park City. Everything we ordered was delicious. The pork chop, the scallops, the duck breast were all absolutely incredible. Really enjoyed our drinks too!

Came for a birthday and the staff was amazing. Let us host a large group and the service was fast, friendly, and helpful. Really awesome seasonal menu with local options. Quality was great and portion sizes were generous. They have a full bar with lots of wine options as well. Highly recommend.

Stopped for dinner on our way to Reno. My son had the trout salad and I had the black kale caesar salad with an added piece of trout; we shared the baked Brie appetizer. The appetizer was delicious; the Brie was wrapped in pastry and accompanied by a tasty fruit compote. However the Brie was barely warm and hard to slice. I would have expected the cheese to be soft, gooey, and spreadable. I noticed the next table’s Brie was the same. My son enjoyed the trout salad. My kale salad was not as good; not enough dressing and the kale was quite tough. My mistake for ordering kale, but the combination just didn’t work. We both enjoyed the trout; it was tender and quite tasty but I would have preferred crispy skin. Not bad, but not great.

Great spot with upscale dishes in a relaxed setting. The elk steak was PHENOMENAL. It was the most memorable dish of the trip. The brussel sprouts and carrots for apps were also fantastic.

Im visiting Utah for the first time and I found out about The Twisted Fern through multiple blogs and reviews for best restaurants in the area. As the first place we decided to try out while here I know it’s going to give all the other options a run for their money. Between the atmosphere, service and food they definitely earned their stars. 10/10. The dishes were artistically presented and matched with delicious flavor. Would go back and recommend to anyone stopping in the area. We got the octopus appetizer, pork ragù, pasta fagioli, Utah elk, and roasted duck breast + some fun drinks. They seemed to have a lot of great vegetarian options too. My group was very impressed and our bellies are happy & full.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The ambiance was warm and cozy. We started with the focaccia appetizer, which was delicious. The bread was perfectly baked and I loved the charred crust. For my entree I had the General Tso’s cauliflower, which was incredible. Service was attentive and staff was friendly. Overall, I would come back here regularly if I lived here but I will be back next time we are in Park City.

It’s toooo good! You have to go while in PC. My favorite meal since we’ve been here. I mean every single things we ordered was incredible. Our server, Aaron was the best! So knowledgeable about all the dishes, provided impeccable service, and just such a joy to interact with. The chicken dish was my fav but pork chop and trout was incredible too!

Highly recommend enjoying an amazing Park City dinner away from Main Street! This place exceeded my expectations and tantalized my taste buds! I had the Utah Elk - and was so glad I did! When I saw it was curry crusted I was going to have something else - but with their recommendation I ordered it - and I recommend you do to! The elk was very tender and tasty - but the rings of several sauces on the perimeter made it even more amazing! I switched between the carrot purée alone it sat on to the Cherry Ginger Compote and/or the pickled ginger vinaigrette - each taste and combo only enhanced the wonderful elk with the just perfect- somewhat subtle - curry. So so good!! My wife had the burger which was great too - along with a perfect simply green salad. We ate out on the patio - and weather was perfect! Julia was an outstanding waiter and the team work of the entire service team outstanding! They noticed everything water was refilled before we even noticed we would need more soon, dishes cleared quickly. Don’t miss this place to enjoy a wonderful meal while in Park City!!
