We ordered online and were sadly very disappointed. We placed an order for a pizza and a Caesar salad, and the site said it would be ready in 20 minutes. To be safe, we waited 35 minutes before heading over, but when we arrived, we were told it would be another 5 minutes. That would have been fine—except it turned into an additional 20 minutes, making our total wait time 55 minutes (more than double the estimate).
When we got home, we discovered that the “Caesar salad” we ordered was actually just half a head of lettuce with nothing else—no toppings, no croutons twist, and the wrong dressing. Instead of Caesar, we were given Italian. For a $65 order, we expect at least the basics to be correct.
I called the restaurant to share my concerns and was met with some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The man, who said he was the manager, insisted multiple times that the dressing was Caesar, even though it was clearly Italian and not creamy at all. He became defensive, argumentative, and dismissive, instead of listening. When I calmly explained that the salad was incomplete and the order was wrong, he took it personally, accused me of offending him, and even told me he would make sure I could never order from the restaurant again.
Mistakes happen, and I would have understood if the issue was handled with professionalism and respect. Instead, the experience was made much worse by how the manager treated me. Between the long wait, incorrect order, and hostile response when I tried to resolve the issue, I will not be returning. The price is way too much for the quality of serve I received. It’s sad because we really liked this place.
