"The first southeast outlet to ride the pizza-cone social media craze opened in Silverado Center on Eastern Avenue, taking over the former bakery's outdoor patio and drawing long opening-day lines. It sources sourdough from a 50-year-old family starter that yields a very airy, moist, and crispy crust for a menu that includes sourdough pies, wings, cannoli, and salads. Regular pies listed are mozzarella, pepperoni, a spicy Latina, and the lemon-Italiano, which tops arugula and tomatoes with a lemon vinaigrette; vegan and vegetarian options are also offered. The standout offering is the easy-to-walk-and-eat pizza cone—about the size of a waffle ice cream cone—shaped two at a time in a machine and filled with meats, cheeses, vegetables, or salad-style fillings finished with blue cheese, Italian, ranch, or Caesar dressings." - Bradley Martin
