The 17 Best Restaurants In Inglewood

"A meal at Veronica’s feels like you’re eating inside someone’s house, not an actual restaurant. The simple space has a few scattered tables and a grainy TV in the corner, but what it lacks in objective charm, it more than makes up for in tremendous Nigerian food. Whether you’re familiar with the cuisine or not, your first order of business here needs to be the egusi. It’s a rich, fragrant stew made from dried melon seeds, pumpkin leaves, palm oil, onions, and your choice of protein on top. We usually do a mix of chicken and goat, with a giant ball of fufu (pounded yam and plantains) on the side. " - brant cox, nikko duren

Can TikTok Help Restaurants Succeed? It's Complicated | Bon Appétit

"A West African restaurant in Inglewood whose fufu blew up after a nail artist drove 80 miles to film herself trying it; the resulting video amassed about 6 million views and spawned a global #fufuchallenge that reportedly quadrupled business almost overnight. The spike illustrates how a single viral clip can dramatically drive traffic, but the restaurant’s most prominent viral exposure clustered in late 2021 and has shown far fewer breakout videos since." - ByMaggie Hennessy

Where to Eat Before the Game in L.A. | Eater

"Long before fufu had its viral social media moment earlier this year, Veronica Shoyinka was whipping up Nigerian favorites along Hillcrest. The restaurant’s name is almost on-the-nose in its simplicity; it’s quite possible that Shoyinka herself is on cooking duty when you arrive, and the dining room feels like a home, with the host bringing food out from the kitchen. The viral fufu and egusi soup are favorites, but the jollof rice is every bit as flavorful." - Vox Creative

I rode the bus for more than 2 hours to get here to try the food, and that is huge for me because I wouldn’t travel that far for food. I had the warmest welcome by the staff here, and I noticed how kind and courteous they were to every one and not just their own people. My experience of the food was really good. I had Abula with Goat Meat. “Abula” is the combination of Ewedu, Gbegiri, Tomato Stew, and Amala. The goat meat was really tender, and the food portion is very large in my opinion (which is very good). The menu is very simple to navigate, and the eating the food takes one back home to the feeling of eating good food in Nigeria. I will definitely be visiting this place again anytime I am in its environment.

Me, my sister, and cousin stopped here looking for something to eat since we had plans to go out. We were originally gonna go to some Korea buffet but we thought about fufu and went to this amazing restaurant. At first we thought we were being ignored but it turns out it’s because we were sitting in the back😭 but once we went up to the front to find our food we sat in the front, (pls sit in the front!) despite that we opened our food and were allowed to evenly distribute our food among three people with just two soups and one fufu. The fufu and soups, AMAZING. So good, the fufu tastes just like mashed potatoes for those who don’t know, the soups are always hot no matter what as they are filled with delicious spices and seasonings.

Delicious, Generous Portions – Take It To-Go and Thank the Chef! My wife and I tried the Egusi soup and Okra-Ogbono soup (both without meat), and we were blown away. Each soup came with a serving of Fufu (pounded yam), and we ordered three extras—but we definitely didn’t need that much. The portions are huge. Each soup came in a large to-go container, and we only managed to eat about a third of each. At $20 per soup (even without meat), it’s absolutely worth the price for the quantity and quality. The flavor was outstanding—spicy, rich, and full of depth, even without any meat. We brought the food home, and over an hour later it was still steaming hot. The Fufu was soft, moist, and perfect. No need to reheat. Just a heads-up: both soups come spicy, so be ready for some heat! The highlight of our visit, aside from the food, was the older woman who seemed to be in charge of the kitchen—she might even be the owner. She was incredibly warm, helped us order, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She even asked us to come back if we enjoyed the food. Her kindness left a lasting impression. That said, the front-of-house service could use some work. The cashier was slow, nearly overcharged us, and forgot we had already paid. It was a bit of a mess, even with 3 people running the front. But the food and the kindness from the back of the house more than made up for it. If you’re trying this for the first time, I recommend taking it to-go and enjoying it in the comfort of your home. We’ll definitely be coming back—because the food and that sweet lady made it worth it.

This spot offers a fantastic taste of West African cuisine that you won’t want to miss.I tried the fufu with egusi soup, and it was incredible—rich, flavorful, and so comforting! The portion sizes are generous, and everything is made with fresh ingredients. I also loved the jollof rice, which had the perfect blend of spices. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Veronica and her team are friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. If you're in Inglewood and looking for authentic West African food, Veronica’s Kitchen is a must-visit! I can’t wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings!

Disappointing Experience for a Family Group We recently visited Veronica’s in Inglewood with a group of 10 (4 adults and 6 children) excited to sit down for a meal together. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but welcoming. We were seated in the back corner of the restaurant near a door that was left open and facing the road, which caused a strong draft that made the kids quite cold. We politely asked our server if the door could be shut, and she agreed without mentioning any issue so we assumed it was fine. As we began placing our orders, the waitress suddenly walked off mid-order to attend to another table without explanation, which felt a bit dismissive. We waited nearly 20 minutes for her to return to finish taking our orders. In the meantime, one of the adults walked up front to grab our drinks, and we settled in expecting our food soon. Then things took an unexpected turn. A woman whom we believe was either the owner or part of the management came and abruptly reopened the door next to our table. When we asked if it could please remain shut due to the cold draft, she replied sharply that it had to stay open for kitchen ventilation. We explained that we hadn’t been informed of that earlier by the waitress, but she dismissed us with attitude. When my husband politely asked if there was a problem, she stated that there was, and walked away, leaving the door open. At that point, we asked if she wanted us to leave, and she responded, “You can if you want to.” So we paid for our drinks and left without eating. For a family friendly restaurant, the lack of communication, courtesy, and hospitality was very disappointing. We understand the need for proper ventilation, but there was a much better way to handle the situation especially with children involved. We travelled from Texas to California to for such horrific experience. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Terrible service, During my visit to enjoy a delicious meal with a friend , I was met with ghastly customer service and was extremely disappointed. We were not welcomed and had to ask where we could sit. Despite being the only customers in the store we waited almost 5-6 minutes just to receive a menu. I don’t know the name of the girl at the register but she had on a necklace that said “Demola” so we will call her as such. When interacting with Demola she seemed as though we were a nuisance to her as she was enjoying using her iPad/tablet at the front counter when we arrived. When the food eventually was brought to our table there was no reply or acknowledgement when we expressed our thanks for the arrival of the food and drinks (The food was great, our compliments to the chef, I’m happy that wasn’t a disappointment). When requesting for a container and bag to pack our remaining meal, demola was engaging in lively conversation with an older male customer (Which proved to me that her behavior was indeed intentional, and that she wasn’t just having an off day). Upon hearing my request she all but rolled her eyes at me and continued her conversation with the gentleman. I moved closer to the counter and made eye contact with her, only then did she get up to get the bag. Moments before handing me the bag, she released it. Had I not been quick to catch it I would have had to pick it up from the floor. My has never visited Veronica’s Kitchen and only agreed to come based on my recommendation. It was a terrible experience and a wrong 1st impression. I’m wondering if demola is why the store was empty that day. The young lady Demola needs to attend a course on customer service and hospitality. She is the sole reason our short visit was filled with hostility. We immediately left and agreed not to come back again. Such behavior is cancerous to good business and general human interaction. I pray she will do better in the future.

Yelp
Good things: the server explained everything thoroughly, and let us know that traditionally, the meat is not as tender as meat we may be accustomed to. The portions are large enough for 2 people to share. The jollof rice with chicken was the favorite. We were a part of four, and one person loved the fufu. The just okay: We all agreed that the plantains were extremely dry and didn't taste fresh. This could be because I'm used to Cuban-style plantains that are softer, less dry, and often syrupy sweet. We didn't finish the plantains or the puff puff, which are like little donuts but lacked sweetness and were pretty dense and dry. Maybe this is typical, though. We ordered one meat pie. It was also a bit dry but it was flavorful and I used some of the sauce from the chicken to give the crust some moisture. There were mixed reviews in the egusi (we got one with beef and one with chicken,) but the consensus was that the chicken was much better and strangely, the egusi's flavor was much different in each dish although only the proteins were different. The egusi with beef was by far not the favorite. Again, I know there are many styles of African food and I am far from a connoisseur, so what we had might be usual Nigerian flavors and textures. We tried this place because of the good reviews, and I'm glad we did, but I'm curious to try other types of African cuisine.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Nigerian food and I'd say it is definitely worth the hype. The parking is free, but small; however we went when it wasn't as busy so parking was easy to find. We were welcomed and seated quickly. Our server (unfortunately we didn't get any names) explained each dish and made recommendations. Since it was my first time, it was recommended for me to get the Egusi and Jollaf Rice. My friend and I both ordered Egusi with Chicken and it comes with Fufu (pounded yam). Two bowls of water were given for us to rinse our hands (since we chose to eat with our hands and not utensils), quickly after, freshly hot Fufu and Egusi came out. The servers were very attentive and friendly. The fufu tasted like a sticky (or gummy? but not in a bad way) mashed potato. The Egusi was delicious! Chicken was cooked to perfection. I'm unsure how to describe the Egusi, but I couldn't stop eating it. Ms. Veronica came out to greet the guests when it got a little busier and we had a conversation with her. I absolutely recommend dining at Veronica's Kitchen. The staff is extremely kind and the food is delicious. I definitely plan to make the drive to try more menu items!

Yelp
MY MANNNN Veronica is DA BOMB. I was SO surprised at how DELICIOUS this is. This is my first time eating Nigerian food and it is SO FLAVORFUL. This is definitely worth a try if you're feeling adventurous. I wish I lived closer to here, I would be coming here WEEKLY to try all their dishes. Great price. Amazing food. 100/100 experience.

Yelp
Service was great . The young lady had a smile the whole time and was very attenative. Food was great . This is not a place where your food comes out quickly so plan accordingly. Relax and enjoy your meal or call ahead. Clean small space with a lot of cultural decor.

Yelp
We came last night to grab some dinner. I was excited to try this place since I keep hearing about egusi and fufu and this was one of the few west African restaurants in the area. To start the entrance door was so hard to open lol everyone struggled and tried to other door. They definitely need to get that door fixed. We both ended up getting the egusi with fufu but I got mine with goat and my friend got his with beef. While it was tasty and super flavorful, I'm not sure what all the hype is with egusi hahaha I mean it's good but I'm not sure if I will crave it again. The fufu was also an interesting texture but flavorless so you definitely need the flavor of the stew to add to it.
google avatar

Jaime T.

Yelp
Parking: Small lot. It was easy to find parking at night, but it could get tricky during busier times. I didn't know exactly what to expect, but this place was so good, and the food came out hot! Prepare yourself, though--service is on the slower side. I honestly think they forgot about us because we waited 30 minutes, and a couple next to us got their food before we did. But these are minor things because the food was that good. I had fufu, egusi, and goat stew. For my Vietnamese food lovers, I'd say egusi is kind of like bun rieu. I highly recommend it--it has an eggy, garlicky flavor, though I'm not sure if that's exactly what's in there. The goat stew was definitely spicier and had that gamey flavor, but I really enjoyed it too. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area or if you want to try something new! I'll definitely be coming back.

Yelp
I've tried their food at a friend's house several times before but this was my first time eating at the restaurant. The staff is so friendly and the food is delicious! We had red stew with goat, okra ogbono with goat, jollof rice with plantains, fufu, moi moi, and beef suya. I enjoyed everything but the suya was my favorite! I also tried Vitamalt for the first time and was surprised with how much I liked it as I don't usually enjoy malt beverages.

Yelp
This food is amazing!!!!! Had never tried African food before and this blew my mind. It's a small hole in the wall but from what I can tell they own the whole building? They do take quite some time getting the food ready so just keep that in mind and either order way ahead of time or just prepare to wait. The egusi with fufu and jollof was everything I needed on a cold Saturday morning. I definitely plan on coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant multiple times since it went viral in 2020. I can honestly eat here every day, it's that good. The restaurant moved to a new building and it's clean and spacious. The workers there are always so friendly and nice. I got egusi with chicken today and fufu. I've been to several Nigerian restaurants in Los Angeles County and this is by far my favorite place to get egusi. Give it a try.
google avatar

A. M.

Yelp
The food is delicious, and portions are big. But preparation takes too long. I placed the order online, and it arrived an hour later. I still had to wait another 45 minutes. It defeated the purpose of ordering because I didn't want to wait for food to cook at home.
google avatar

Yelp
first time trying nigerian food and didn't know what to expect, but it was a pleasant surprise! the fufu was an interesting texture and it was fun to try something i've never had before. i personally wouldn't order the okra again as i realized that i don't enjoy it as much, but i really liked the egusi strew with chicken and beef. overall, it was a pleasant experience and pick up was a breeze.

Yelp
Amazing food and service at Veronica's Kitchen. The owner and chef, Veronica is a real life Nigerian Chief! She is a humble, welcoming, and talented chef and leader! I've had both take out and dine-in meals here. The fufu is outstanding. The egusi is mind blowing! We've ordered just about everything on the menu and loved it all! The staff is hard working and super friendly. Best Nigerian food outside of Nigeria! Promise!

Ree V.

Yelp
First time eating Nigerian food. Had the jollof rice, red stew, chicken, plantain, fufu & crawfish egusi. Pros: Everything was good. Portions were generous enough for 2. I finally understand fufu, it has a neutral barely there flavor, the flavor is provided by the rice, stew etc., folding the fufu around it changes the overall texture of everything, in a mashed potatoes type way(it is pounded yam so..) good flavor all around. Cons: take-out service can be spotty & unorganized, food not ready at given times is very annoying.
google avatar

Stacey J.

Yelp
Great first experience! The food was really good. I've never had fufu or egusi and I'm glad I tried it. There was something going on with another customer but they were able to move it to the side and help me check out since I placed the order for pickup. I also asked about what chin chins are and the woman explained it to me fully before moving on to the next customer. It felt like a family restaurant, which was nice. Anyway, I look forward to going back and trying chin chins. Also, personally I would get an extra order of fufu for my soup next time.
google avatar

Yelp
Was looking forward to the rice but again was let down the rice was very bland . The stew was okay but tasted like canned tomatoe paste . I also think the servers should work on customer service . They were kind of rude . I guess different cultures so I could've misinterpreted but still if your working in customer service wether the culture is different you should still be pleasant .

Yelp
Veronica your food is amazing. Its hands down a great Nigerian menu. We ended up getting the fufu with the beef egusi. Which does not disappoint. You MUST try it because it it worth the hype!! The establishment itself is very small on the inside, so be prepared to take your items home. The food is pipping hot and ready to eat as soon as you get out of the car LOL. Its super duper delicious!! Our only complaint is: Your order system really needs to improve. This is twice we've come and you cannot find our order. To top it off, we waited an additional 1 hour for our food to be ready - Its very unacceptable!!! We understand the volume of orders and running a small business, but make sure to please emphasize that our order will not be ready and to come in 2 hours. Other than that, THE FOOD SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!! You have to try what she has to offer!! The cook is amazing and the food is too!! Sorry no pictures, we rushed home and gobbled it up LOL

Yelp
Authentic Nigerian home cooking, close to LAX. The menu is varied, including regional dishes served in family style portions. Prices may seem high, but dishes feed 3-4 people. The interior is casual and simply decorated, with a small amount of seating. They serve Nigerian beer and wine. I knew I had made a good choice when the other patrons dining at Veronica's informed me that they are Nigerian. As I waited for my takeout order, we chatted about popular Nigerian dishes and how to eat them, which I appreciated, since this was my first time trying the cuisine. To be honest, I had ordered without knowing what I was getting lol. I was happy to have made some friends to talk with, since I waited 45 minutes for my takeout order, despite the restaurant not being busy. I ended up with Edikaikong, a spicy and healthy Nigerian classic with flavorful greens and big hunks of preserved fish. I loved the greens, which I enjoyed with the firm, creamy mashed potato-esque fufu. The fish was way too salty for me; I will ask for an entirely vegetarian dish next time. I also enjoyed the Nigerian beer, which reminded me of Coors Banquet.

Yelp
My favorite spot for egusi. Love this place. Love the staff very welcoming. Service and food amazing.

Yelp
Hands down, egusi soup with goat meat!!!! Fire!!! I love the vibes of a mom and pop family owned restaurant, typically those come with the best food and this was definitely that. Did not disappoint one bit... thank you for feeding me hahah loved it!

Yelp
They open at 11 and I got here right as they opened so I understood that they had to get themselves ready to open... I placed my order and it took 2 hours to get my food... I ordered jollof rice n red stew... and after I realized it didn't come with fufu I went back to order some... while I was there she was sweeping the floor so I'm assuming the floor wasn't cleaned the night before and she swept all that in front of me I could see all that dirt flying in the air that it flared my asthma... I will never again go there... I girl that attended me was rude too which was the only female that I attended me the whole time.

Yelp
this is my second time here. last time i was here was two years ago. they changed locations but this new place has a parking lot which i love! the food got so much better oh my god it was so delicious. the meat quality got better as well. I got the yam fufu and the beef egusi stew. I'll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
I was in town for a short period and I had a taste of authentic Nigerian cooking. Veronica's kitchen is the best place. The atmosphere is friendly and the dishes are delicious with just the right amount of spice. I love the Egusi with white fish, Efo Riro, Edikanikon, and more.

Yelp
I was there two Sundays ago with family and we ordered some Egusi and the green soup based on recommendations by King, our server/cashier. It was our first time there and the food was great. HOWEVER, it took so long. I do need to take the time to give kudos to King our server for being able to manage the demands all alone and even went to the kitchen to cook our food for us while still serving everyone else (alone). I do feel that if the restaurant had more workers it would save a lot of time for us the customers, and less stress for the staff. We came back again this past Sunday, and it was the same thing. We loved the food, but just keep in mind that there is going to be a long wait.

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING, I come here every now and then AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY ITS GASSS, if your looking to try something new definitely come here, the food has so much flavor and the rice is so good along with the chicken stew with fufu. The first time I went I think I met Veronica herself, she was a very nice lady showed me the menu and made great suggestions. 10/10 PLACE TO GO

Yelp
Delicious dishes all round ordered the Pepper Soup which was spicy but hit the spot. It's very similar to a Mexican dish called Menudo but also includes liver. The Okra was my least fav dish but worth a try.. wish there was a smaller version because we felt bad not finishing it. We order the red stew too. Sauce tasted just like tomato soup soo good. and the Jollof rice was omg soo good and the paired chicken was probably our favorite. The chicken was crunchy and soaked in sauce too! The palm tree juice was surprisingly refreshing Overall great service, great recs we all left satisfied. Would go back

Yelp
So this spot just opened two weeks ago on Manchester so I've had Veronica's kitchen before when she was in Inglewood but now she's on Manchester let me tell you when I say delicious. I know I love fufu but I haven't had it in a long time because you know it on the heavy side, but oh my God this food is so so so good . The only this is the wait was long but worth it , just enjoy a drink while you wait .

Yelp
Veronica's Kitchen has some of the best jollof rice and egusi soup! The dishes are super flavorful and spice-heavy. The portions are very large and shareable, me and my boyfriend would have been full off of just the egusi and two swallows. The interior is clean, and the service is friendly. Be prepared to wait around 45 minutes for your food though, so don't arrive starving! I would recommend getting the goat over the beef. The beef chunks we had in the egusi were too tough to eat.

Yelp
During my visit to enjoy a delicious meal with a friend , I was met with ghastly customer service and was extremely disappointed. We were not welcomed and had to ask where we could sit. Despite being the only customers in the store we waited almost 5-6 minutes just to receive a menu. I don't know the name of the girl at the register but she had on a necklace that said "Demola" so we will call her as such. When interacting with Demola she seemed as though we were a nuisance to her as she was enjoying using her iPad/tablet at the front counter when we arrived. When the food eventually was brought to our table there was no reply or acknowledgement when we expressed our thanks for the arrival of the food and drinks (The food was great, our compliments to the chef, I'm happy that wasn't a disappointment). When requesting for a container and bag to pack our remaining meal, demola was engaging in lively conversation with an older male customer (Which proved to me that her behavior was indeed intentional, and that she wasn't just having an off day). My has never visited Veronica's Kitchen and only agreed to come based on my recommendation. It was a terrible experience and a wrong 1st impression. I'm wondering if demola is why the store was empty that day. The young lady Demola needs to attend a course on customer service and hospitality. She is the sole reason our short visit was filled with hostility. We immediately left and agreed not to come back again. Such behavior is cancerous to good business and general human interaction. I pray she will do better in the future.

Yelp
In my sojourn if finding g Nigerian food in LA, I Stopped by here but alas. It's nothing to write home about. The review has been long due. Flies on food, owner was pleasant but food was nasty.

Yelp
I have mixed reviews about this place only because every time I call in an order, they always managed to mess it up. Somehow I'm always on hold for a really long time but aside from that the food is really good.

Yelp
My first time having Nigerian cuisine and I think, I picked the best option outside of Nigeria to try it. I wanted to try everything, and wasn't sure what to order, but our server helped me and my friends choose a well rounded dinner array. Our table had Jollof rice with plantain and chicken, Okra Ogbono with beef, Ewedu soup with beef, Egusi with goat, a red stew with chicken, 3 orders of fufu, an extra order of goat, and an extra order of Amala. Everything was quite tasty and I even got a little buzzed with the Palm wine which was surprisingly sweet and refreshing. The service was great and the restaurant was lively with Afrobeats playing. My only regret was not going earlier in the day, as some of the appetizers I wanted to try, such as meat pies, chin chin, and puff puff weren't available anymore due to selling out. Nevertheless, my friends and I truly enjoyed eating at Veronica's Kitchen and look forward to the next time we will dine there again.

Yelp
My first time have Nigerian food and it was perfect beyond my expectation. The service kind of slow but very nice greeting and very helpful. Inside when you walk in, you feel like you've been invited to someone house, which is Cozy and welcome

Yelp
Love the awesome Jollof rice. I get it every time that I go. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of parking on the street

Yelp
I disputed the amount showing a proof that I was charged twice., So I already got refunded. I don't think I will go there again as well don't recommend to anyone I know

Yelp
This place was trending a few years back, but me & my best friend decided to finally try it. This place is known for their Fufu and the soups we ordered: the Edikanikan i think & the Egusi soup, which we had ordered with beef. The service was pretty good. People were waiting for over an hour for their foods, but my order thankfully only took about 45 mins. I'm not sure if it's because they ordered way more. I heard a customer come in saying they placed an order online about 10 mins before I ordered at the restaurant and I got my food before them and even ate at the restaurant & they were still waiting. Just be prepared to wait if you ever come here! As you can see from the pictures they gave us big portions which i loved hahaha.

Yelp
Food is good, unfortunately the service was terrible. After a 2 hour drive just to go eat at this restaurant the excitement was gone due to a very rude young lady who couldn't even get up to sit us. Had the worst attitude and wouldn't get off her phone to help a paying customer. Don't know if it's a family member helping out or not but she should not be allowed to deal with customers.

Yelp
It is in the middle of an intersection on the corner of Hillcrest and Nutwood in Inglewood. I was invited by a friend and was excited to try Nigerian food. *FYI* If you order to go and walk in, check the table with the pink to go bags next to the front for your name. Staff does not consistently greet you when you walk in. He ordered Egusi w/goat, tripe and shaki (cow skin) along with orders of pounded yam. Lastly, he got friend goat to go. (Very interesting ordering experience) The egusi had good flavor with a little spice, I ate it like a soup then combined it with my fingers with the pounded yam. I had the goat and it was tough and thick, my first time trying it and still undecided if I want to try it again. I tasted the shaki (cow skin), but it was chewy and thick. So I dont know what my tastebuds experienced with the meat options. I would definitely eat this without the meat. Lastly, they are not cheap! My friend paid $90! He said it was because they purchased the meat from another country.

Yelp
Please come back to how it used to be. The meat was tough portions are small services is horrible poor Management etc. The fufu was tiny this place has gone down. I suggest getting a pressure cooker and cut your time to less than half to cook that tough meat. The flavor is there however the portions are much smaller than they use to be and the jollof rice was dry.

Yelp
I came here because i've really wanted to try fufu and I was not disappointed! The egusi was so flavorful and paired so well with the fufu. The textures were something I was so curious about but again wasn't disappointed at all. This is really such a fun place, I would love to come here with friends. The inside isn't super nice but I don't think that should be a big deal, what you're here for is the food. The staff was incredible, so nice! I would love to come here again, unfortunately I don't live super close but if you read this review you should go!

Yelp
This is the Spot for authentic Nigerian food!! This was mu first time trying their food I was happy i finally visited after being recommended! You guys their food is bomb.com. If you were to visit they..have a first time visitors suggestion for what to try. I had fufu, which is pounded yam. Jaloff rice with red stew with chicken and Egusi soup with beef. The owner came over to our table and explained the bowl of water once they served your food. They ask you how you will be eating your food. I suggest you try it the way they are accustomed to eat their meals that is with their hand!! The minute I tried my meal I did a happy food dance and the manager caught me and smiled!!! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Their staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. The aesthetic is that of a home based restaurant. You guys should definitely check this place out!!! I'm returning for more soon!
