The Best Vegan Pizza In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"With its exposed brick and “Get Lost In The Sauce” neon signs, Village Square Pizza is a very chill place to eat a slice of pizza in the West Village (there’s also a second location on Avenue A). The menu, which includes pizza by the slice/square or whole pies, is pretty straightforward, but we’d like to focus on one of our favorite pizza-like things here: the vegan bruschetta. It’s topped with freshly chopped tomatoes and red onions drenched in extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil while sitting on a golden garlic crust. But if you must have pizza, which is also very good, you can select between a few plant-based options: the vegan square is topped with roasted peppers and onions, and the eggplant square features fried eggplant, marinara sauce, hand-crushed tomatoes, chopped garlic, and fresh basil." - anna rahmanan

Former Prince St person, for two people I'd say: spicy pepperoni, vodka slice, grandma slice.

My friends and I stopped her for a quick slice after some drinks around the corner and we ended up coming back later in the night for a second one because it was so good and we had to try more of their options. My favorite was the vodka as it was actually quite light and the cheese was the perfect combination with the vodka sauce with it being overwhelming or tasting like pasta. The pepperoni was also incredible, crispy crust, but soft inside, and a bit oily. Never been to a pizza place twice in a night until here, but I highly recommend giving it a try.

Google
Honestly, wish I could try each & every slice so good, I’m already planning my next visit. Do yourself a favor and try it. I got the Grandma slice & the thin crust was ON POINT!! Tastes like a slice of heaven! One of the best pizza places I’ve tried — no joke This is the kind of pizza that ruins other pizza for you. A must-try for any pizza lover.

Google
Hot honey should be on every single pepperoni pizza. In fact, on every pizza! Spicy, sweet honey paired with savory pepperoni - what a combo. At Village Square Pizza, their pepperonis are stacked! Their slices are crispy and chewy at the same time, no floppy pizza, with a crisp base, which gives a satisfying crunch. This spot is known for thick crust square slices, hence the name. We’ve also tried their three cheese slices, grandma slices, and margherita slices - the hot honey pepperoni pizza slice is hands down the best one. Don’t knock it until you try it!

Google
Small place, but it's place to get the slice, or slices and go, best to do it, or just simply it - but you must stand. They are many varieties, I choosed classic. Worth the hipy, crispy and tasty. But also there was a lot of fat in it, typical NY pizza I assume.

Got the pepperoni slice and it was delicious! Great pizza spot to check out while in NYC!

Google
Small pizza place, the pies are super expensive compared to the quality. The crust of my margherita pie was chewy.

Google
An amazing thick crust that has a good flavor, is crisp yet chewy, for both the square and round slices. They have 2 vegan options, average price per slice is $5 and a great tomato sauce. My only criticism was the amount of sauce in the pepperoni slice we got. Given a thicker square crust, I would have liked to see a bit more sauce to have made it more enjoyable. The vegan eggplant square and plain cheese slice were good too.

Google
Pizza is really good. Like REALLY good. I ate these 3 slices and the vodka was great and crispy and creamy. The meat lover one was not greasy somehow, and it had amazing spices and flavors from the sausage and the pepperoni. Was honestly the best one and the buffalo chicken one had the right amount of kick and was. Another great slice. Worth it. Crispy bottoms, no floppy sloppy droopy pizza and great flavor.

Yelp
Went in at ~3am on a Sunday morning and joined a long line of late-night clubbers and partiers. The inside of the shop was real small with no tables and floor to ceiling windows on the shopfront which allowed passerby's to peek in. If everyone was sardined in the place, you'd probably fit ~40 people, but the line of people who fit inside was maybe 12 with the line also continuing outside. Got a thin crust margherita slice and tried a bite of the thick crust white pizza (cheese & honey). Margherita: good, standard fare margherita. Cheesy, marinara-y, not sooooo mozzarella-y, but solid. Maybe not worth $5. 8/10. White pizza: with the hot honey they provide... fire. Straight flames. There are multiple types of cheese on the pizza, and the honey and spice really round out the flavor and fattiness of the cheese and bread. It's so popular that I didn't get to try a whole slice bc it was sold out by the time I got to the front of the line! Worth the $5. 9/10. Overall, the white pizza is great drunchies or a great snack if you're hungry from exploring the NY streets!

Yelp
As per the name of this place, you don't go here for the generic NY style thin crust slices even though they are good (and above average at that.) You go here specifically for the Sicilian style squares. The Grandma Slice here is one of the better slices in the city mostly because of one reason; the pesto. Pesto on pizzas are either bland or have too much garlic or are too herbal and honestly the pesto here is perfect with just a great mixture of herbs, garlic, and nuttiness. If they served a good fusilli here with their excellent pesto at a reasonable price, I would probably bring it as one the better pesto pastas in the city. The pepperoni slice is also tasty and the fact that they're related to Made in New York which happens to be in a feud with another place not to be named that is known for their pepperoni squares adds a bit of extra humor. In terms of the rest of the slice, this sauce quality is good, the cheese is good and well baked on top, and the crust is a bit thick as per the expected style outside of the thinner top which has a satisfying crackle and crunch. The fact of this spot also has locations around the city such as most recently in the food desert that is Midtown West is a good thing as well. Mid 4 for the Grandma Slice particularly because of the pesto. Would be a mid 3 for the rest of the slices. The price is a bit high but yep it's worth it.

Yelp
Get the grandma slice. Seriously. While there's no shortage of pizza places in and around the Christopher Street area, this one stands out. They specialize in more of a thin, square slice- hence the name. I generally am a savory sauce person. The sauce here is on the sweeter side, but only just so, so I forgive it given how complex the flavor is. The crust is very good. Crispy and while slightly thicker than a classic NY slice, it's not doughy at all.

Yelp
My go-to spot for a late night slice. Always tastes fresh and comes out piping hot. Fair price for the quality and service - there's a reason there's often a line out the door.

Yelp
It's been a long while since I've been to this yummy spot and let's just say that next time it's not gonna be that long! One random nice after midnight it was all about some square and what better spot to get some than here! So it was all about the margarita pizza and let me say it tastes just as amazing as it looks it was soo full of flavor and just really hit the spot with each bite of that yummy slice like so much so! The pepperoni square was also nothing short of delicious too as it was packed with flavor and pepperoni it was like NYC style but in square form making for a really incredible slice from start to finish! The eggplant pizza looked amazing too and it's definitely on the list to get next time as I'm sure it will be just as good as the others! This is a little shop right across from Tompkins Square Park so it's not the easiest place to find parking but it's definitely worth it so don't pass it by! Overall this is some of the best pizza I've ever had so if you find yourself in the area do your taste buds a treat and get some square slices!

Yelp
Pizza was okay, but not really sure why this is such a highly rated spot. I came on a Saturday night after a concert nearby, and the line was very short. There's no seating or stools in this pizza spot, so do expect it to be a quick bite or something to takeout. The service was a bit curt. I shared a margarita and vodka square slice with my boyfriend. The vodka slice was pretty disappointing, and it wasn't saucy enough for how thick the crust was. It was mostly very bready and not terribly flavorful. The margarita was good. I liked the sauce and that it wasn't too greasy. It wasn't particularly special, though! My friends also got their cheese slice, and the crust lacked a lot of structure.

Yelp
Okay this pizza was fire. In an area riddled with viral pizza spots, I was hoping to find something a bit quieter. Enter village square pizza. Completely empty on at 2:00 in the afternoon, I entered this small little pizza parlor eagerly saluted by the lone worker. Super nice and friendly. The options looked great, and they all had a best seller notation next to them. So, apparently everything here is good. I went with the grandma slice. A thin crusted, square slice lathered in marinara then topped with a spritz of pesto. I love a thin crust pizza with some good char. This was a solid slice. A little salty, ever so savory. Great texture, crisp. The slice was a solid size, too. To be truthful, one of the better slices I had on my trip. I would not out it in the elite category of slices, but I still think it is a quality slice. Plus, there is something about eating a piece of pizza alone in a small parlor like that. It just feels right.

Yelp
STAY AWAY, went here weekend of 1/8/2025 and was really disappointed, went to bed hungry because I couldnt stomach it. Also I was overcharged like I had left a 25% tip as of my banking app and was not offered a receipt.

Grant H.

Yelp
I was not a fan. The pizza is super dry and bread was really tough. I heard a lot of hype about this pizza joint but was thoroughly disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
You might see this pic and think, wait, is that Prince St? And I feel like they want you to. Tastes and looks so similar to Prince St's iconic slice, but just missing a little something. Still a solid slice and I'd eat again.

Yelp
Came around 11pm, an hour to closing. They were pretty much done for the day, and the staff were starting to clean and close. No more pizzas in the displays, but they had a few slices of everything left on the back table. I got a square slice of the pepperoni and vodka. Not sure if they were okay with me eating in, but since they gave me my order bagged, I just ate outside. Dough is good, has a good crisp to it exteriorly, and the dough is pillowy on the inside. Vodka slice was on the sweeter side for me. I like my vodka slices to be more balanced. Pepperoni was okay. I prefer Prince Street's more. The pepperoni cups were too charred for my liking.

Yelp
One of the hardest things I ever had to do was break up with East Village Pizza. I'll spare you the novel, but I couldn't justify paying $6.25 for a single slice of thin crust pepperoni pizza that would just wake my stomach up and leave me hungrier than before. After taking a few months to heal, I was finally ready to get back on the horse and find a new late night pizza spot to hit after striking out at the local bars. On Saturday, after striking out at the local bars, my buddy mentioned this place and that it was a good Prince Street Pizza comparable. We walked in here and were met with a small line and not one, but two, neon signs. I love a good neon sign. The staff is LOCKED in and are running this thing like a finely tuned machine. I opted to get two slices of the thick square pizza, with the cute little slightly charred pepperonis on top hehe. $11.98 total for two thick slices. HUGE. I think this may be better than Prince Street, but if it's not, it's 1a/1b. The crust is perfectly crisped, and those pepperonis are a gift from god. True artistry. After demolishing the first slice, I was like "Damn I lowkey could have been good with just one slice..." I think I am still a bit scarred from the East Village Pizza relationship. I have found my new late night pizza spot. I want to leave you, my dear reader, with a quote from Marilyn Monroe: "Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." Yelp
Solid slice shop! The Grandma pie is a must every time I stop by. The bright pesto and tomato sauce is a great combo. Their square slices are thin so you can easily eat a few for a meal. Definitely grab a slice if you're nearby.

Yelp
Only reviewing the Margarita slice--I thought it was just ok. The crust and sauce weren't too flavorful, but the cheese great. They take venmo so that's nice. Overall--it's solid, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it

Yelp
Best slice we tried during our NYC trip. Went for classic pepperoni. Enjoyed it so much, we went up to the counter for seconds. This time classic margherita, and it was even better! Less grease and better form factor. Nothing better than this pizza and an ice cold seltzer. Did I mention you can afford this quick dinner for two at under $8? No brainer. Eat at Village Square.
google avatar

Elaine W.

Yelp
I normally hate square-cut pizzas but I LOVED this one! I stopped by on my way home to get a quick dinner after running errands. The service was quick, and the pizza was piping hot and delicious. The only thing is they're a lil pricey at like $7 per slice, but I personally thought it was worth it.
google avatar

Jina P.

Yelp
For $6, it was a bit pricy but very good, and the service was even better. Even though it said $10 minimum for card, they still let me use my credit card, and they even let me select which kind of slice I wanted (corner or middle). At first, the slice was a bit cold but they very kindly reheated the slice for me. There is a little bit of seating inside but more seating out front. Overall, I think it's a very great slice of pizza and you can't go wrong here.

Yelp
With all the time I had spent eating around East Village over the years, I always walked past Village Square rather quickly to get to other places in the area. Most of the time there was usually a big crowd of people near the outside and sometimes inside. That area has quite a few late night pizza spots but this is one of the few that has been consistently busy and very well known to locals. I just happen to be around the area after 3am on a Saturday night and you really do get those "midnight cravings" for some food (that tends to be unhealthy overall but oh so delicious). I had been walking about for a little bit and then made my way over to Village Square and of course there was a crowd of people outside (mostly eating and some waiting) and a good amount inside ordering or waiting. Something told me I should hurry and get in and I am glad I did as they were about to close up in a short while (4am Friday and Saturday night). The space inside was designed to mostly standing room grab and go with some counter space on the side (usually just for some seasoning or spice flakes). The gentleman at the counter greeted me right away as I walked in as if I were the first customer of the day (I was definitely not expecting it). I took a quick look at the menus they had framed and looked toward the back table to see what slices were available (there was a good amount of pizzas left!). I ended up getting one pepperoni and sausage slice as well as grandma. They have the ordering and prep down to a science which is how they handle the constant flux of customers. They ask for your name and then call it out when it is ready. I did not wait too long and all orders before me looked to have been handed out in a very timely manner. Those thick square Sicilian type slices were always one of my favorites (of course the classic NY slice will always be one of the best). Getting to eat the pizza right when it got out of the oven is always quite a treat and more so for this place. It is a very NY thing to just be walking around and eating a pizza (especially late at night in the city). Pepperoni is always a must oder wherever I got and the grandma squares are considered fancier for me (as I do not order them often). The regret always sets in when looking at empty plates or taking the last bite of pizza crust....where you wish you ordered more slices. But Village Square definitely saved me that night. As I compose this review, my stomach rumbles a bit and I am seriously considering taking a drive to VS to try and nab some late night slices before they close....
google avatar

Anna D.

Yelp
Still as good as ever - this is still my preference over PSP. It's $6 for the spicy pepperoni slice, which a really big slice and the dough is still light and fluffy. The staff is very nice and heat up your slice, and ask if you want any other topping like hot honey, which is a dollar extra but worth it. There is standing space to eat outside and inside, or you can take it to Tompkins Park!
google avatar

Nick G.

Yelp
This place is what I think, the best pizza restaurant in NY is. I ordered the pepperoni and the vodka sauce. The crust is perfectly crunchy, and the sauce for each was on point. Make sure to get hot honey on the side and drizzle some on top for the perfect bite.

Tejas S.

Yelp
Man--I'm really about to be in the minority here, but this is some really inconsistent pizza. I've been several times: some visits end in pleasant triumph and others abject disappointment. I think what's helped this spot is that there's so much hype, they constantly churn out pizza to the point that their ingredients don't typically get a chance to mush and cool on you; but, when they do, it's a nightmare. This place is so quite unreliable and with plenty of choices nearby, it's hardly worth the effort to visit. If you're literally next door, then maybe you should stop by....but barring that, you might as well go to the dollar slice spot with crispy crust and ingredient quality not concealed by prices that suggest they might not be so great. This spot may be worth the risk generally, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way for it again.
google avatar

Yelp
I think I was charged the same price for a whole square pizza with NO cheese... $40 bucks... I dunno man. Tasty but didn't seem worth it.
google avatar

Holly H.

Yelp
Food: - white slice: 8/10, would taste better heated up - pepperoni slice: 10/10, my New York slice! Tasted so perfect even when it's takeout - vodka slice: 6/10, not my favorite, tasted kind of bland

Yelp
I popped in yesterday on a long walk from Wall Street up to the 34th st east River ferry. This was a nice stop for my 2nd slice of my walk (I had one closer to wall street side, too). This place spanks the dongus hard. I opted for the hot honey packet to top my white slice and I also chose to eat indoors.... Taking up a good 20% of their indoor counter space. It felt like a good fit. Me and the two dudes working there. I could have just brought a sleeping bag and moved in and then yelled at them behind the counter 'yo Mikey, toss me another slice into my sleeping bag.' Whatever these guys are doing w their crust and construction of their pizza left me wanting more. I'm currently staying w a friend in greenpoint and mulling a trip on the ferry and a long walk south from 34th to go snag another slice. Aaaand, it's raining currently. And I'd probably even go in flip flops. That's how good this shit was. Made me also nearly forget about the first slice that I had on my journey. You, too, could become a forgetful zombie willing to move in and share a 40sq ft lobby with me and Mikey and co. (Names have been changed for illustration purposes mainly bc I also don't know actual names).

Yelp
An unassuming spot with the best of both pizza worlds, the spot served up fresh New York and grandma slices, and is a perfect way to refresh after a night out. We stopped in before heading home, and enjoyed a margherita slice, a white grandma slice, and vodka grandma slice, which was by far the standout. Enjoyed standing on their covered patio outside, a perfect NYC bite.

Yelp
Village Square pizza is easily going to be one of my favorite pizza places to go to now when I'm in New York. I had it delivered through Door dash. Even though I didn't get it fresh, it took 15 mins to get to my hotel, it was still crispy and good! I love these button pepperonis that these pizza shop uses. It's so addicting. Idk if it's me but it seems more spicy than the regular pepperonis. I love it! TIP - hot honey is highly recommended! I gives this great sweet and spicy taste to it! I highly recommend giving them a try!
google avatar

Simer C.

Yelp
Generally, this was a different pizza than others I've had in NY and I enjoyed it. Ambiance: (4/5) I like the sign they had up and the bar style table where you can stand and eat. Price: (3/5) I think this place was a bit more expensive than other places with similar pizza. It is still not unreasonable. Food: (4/5) the square pizza was good but a bit too thick for my liking, but that's a personal preference. I think it was a bit burnt on the bottom for one of the slices. The topping choices are great. My favorite was the eggplant. Service: (5/5) The food came out quickly and the staff was very nice. In conclusion, this isn't my favorite place, but I would suggest people try it.
google avatar

Marie D.

Yelp
Better than Prince Street Pizza, there i said it. Honestly everything here was amazing, I had mikes hot honey on the side and you can drizzle that wherever you'd like to your hearts content. My least favorite was the eggplant but that's only because I had the pepperoni square first and I almost couldn't contain my gasm. Eggplant: 7/10 Pepperoni with honey: 10/10 Vodka: 7/10 Plain: 10/10
google avatar

Michael Y.

Yelp
Was not too impressed by the pizza here. The style is more thick, so it's not your NY-style a la Joe's Pizza (which is the best pizza in NYC...change my mind). I was drunk when I came here and didn't think it was _that_ good...so I imagine sober me wouldn't be all that impressed either.
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
Village Square Pizza is my favorite square slice in NYC. No lines, hot honey, pepperoni cups. Can't ask for more.
google avatar

Sakthi S.

Yelp
Honestly the best pizza I've had in NYC, and especially hits the spot for late night pizza. But to be clear it's not JUST late night pizza. Their dough is so fluffy and the crust has so much flavor as well. The white square pizza with a side of marinara is my go-to. all the cheese complements each other and the slightly sweet taste comes through as well. They're usually pretty busy so I recommend ordering ahead.
google avatar

Chrissy L.

Yelp
Love love Village square! The pizza and service is amazing. It's also super quick and organized.
google avatar

Anon N.

Yelp
I had a white pizza Sicilian here. It was good. Crust was nice consistency, cheeses and lil bit of honey on it made it yum. Not a lot of seating here and they have a $10 minimum on credit cards. Besides Two Boots, Dunkin, the Starbucks and Milk Bar, I feel like this part of the Village doesn't have a lot of great fast food options. I was happy to see this place on a night when I was hungry and took a long walk from the piers to the subway. I might come back to try some of the other varieties, but I can definitely recomment the white. They seem to specialize in pepperoni and Sicilian slices.
google avatar

Joseph S.

Yelp
This pizza slaps. A crunchy lower side with a fluffy middle, topped with hot honey and crispy pepperoni. Amazing to have after a night out. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Elyse M.

Yelp
Easily one of the best slices of pizza I've ever had. Especially when you have it fresh. Texturally - the square slices provide crispy bottoms, great flavors that melt in the cheese, and my favorite cupped pepperonis to add such a great mix. The buffalo chicken was pretty good - but personally could have used more chicken. They provide the option to add hot honey and ranch - this time around we didn't add it - but next time I'm definitely aiming to get hot honey on top!! It's a to-go spot so no seating.
google avatar

Yelp
Close but no cigar. Village Square Pizza looks really promising, but fails to measure up to the finest slices in the city. To be clear, the pizza here is good. But this is NYC we're talking here, and mere good doesn't mean much in a sea of standouts. I tried 3 slices: Pepperoni- the best of the bunch. This looks like a slice of the infamous Spicy Spring from Prince St, and tastes pretty damn close. They got the beautiful cupped pepperoni swimming in a pool of oil (I mean FLAVOR) and the beautifully tan, crispy crust. Minor dings for being a bit light on the sauce and pepperoni. Vodka- this was disappointing to me. I LOVE vodka sauce, but there was way too little sauce here (a recurring theme). The sauce itself also lacked the depth found at Prince St. Grandma- decent, but nothing to write home about. A good break from the other too thiccc slices, as this one is a thin, though (true to the name) still square slice. I'd grab a slice if I were in the neighborhood but wouldn't go out of my way.
google avatar

Noelle G.

Yelp
Perfect for a late night snack after hitting NYC bars all night longggggg. There can be a line but it moves fast and the service is always friendly. Get the white slice and ask for hot honey!!! It's heavenly.
google avatar

H K.

Yelp
Ordered two slices of pizza and they denied me tap water. I pointed towards their water spout on the soda machine and reiterated can I please have some tap water. They said no. Public health violation, just saying. Gross.

Yelp
COVID report: Village square has a covered outdoor seating area. This is my new favorite pizza spot in Manhattan. I was in search of a new pepperoni slice to replace my previous go-to, Prince Street, and this is it. (I stopped going to PSP after the whole racist comments/Blue Lives Matter thing; look it up.) Anyway, the pepperoni and plain are both incredible. Eggplant was good, too, but I wouldn't necessarily get it again because the other two are all I need. The crust on all three slices was ridiculously good though. Come here immediately!!

Yelp
I have not stop thinking about these pizzas since I visited. I can't wait to return. The prices were reasonable and the taste was amazing. I loved it. They have many many options for you to choose from. Seating is limited so keep that in mind!
google avatar

D'Andra H.

Yelp
5 stars because of the vodka slice. Eat it and you'll understand. Also the pepperoni slice *chefs kiss* those pepperoni coins make the sonic the hedgehog sound when you eat them. If they made a vodka slice with pepperoni I would give 6 stars.

Mel T.

Yelp
ordered the white pizza and margarita for a party. the white pizza was a huge hit, and the margarita delicious, as always. also very happy with the delivery service through gh.
google avatar

Genesis M.

Yelp
I have to say the pizza I had here was the crunchiest! And the pepperoni was delicious! I liked the pizza here but it is not my favorite. They have some great options on the menu! The place is small so it is more of a order and go type of place. They do have a section were there is like a high top but I did not see no chairs so we were just left standing eating our pizza. Overall I probably wouldn't go back. Wish I loved the pizza but unfortunately it is an okay for me.

Yelp
When in doubt, go with the original location. That is what I did here, and my golden rule still stands to this day. I had heard of this pizzeria from various sources, but refused to add it to my famous pizza project, as I needed a bit more dark horses and less of the main stream. I got myself on the L train and made it my business to give it a go, even in 97 degree heat. This is one pizza that must rank among top tourist spots, but not for the reason that you may think. I will explain why, in the form of each slice getting its own respect of a paragraph. I got three slices, a Margherita, a Plain, and a Pepperoni Square. Heck, for $13, that is a delicious deal. Margherita: The pizza arrives, hot off the oven, onto my paper plate. I could not yet hold this, as the slice was still hot upon first touch, and first bite, burned the top of my mouth. So now I make do like a Ben and Jerry's ice cream pint, going on mouth feel. The crust is very crispy, but a bit well done to my liking. Nice beautiful air pockets, but still, a well done crust. The cheese is flavorful and stringy, the sauce is a typical Margherita sauce. The thropple in this pizza slice works well, and makes it all pretty good. I nod in approval for this one. Plain slice: Thirty seconds later, I try to try this slice. Again, I foolishly burn my hand and mouth as the slice is still too hot to pick up. I try a Squidward sized bite. Cheese is stringy, lots of cheese on this slice, the sauce is too sweet. Beautiful crust, but again, it is on the well done side. I try to eat this slice without burning myself and each time I burn myself. How I finished this slice with all my fingers intact remains to be seen. Could have went without this one if I had a redo, but it is a solid slice if you are looking for one. Pepperoni Square: Intimidating, intoxicating, just one of those slices I looked at with interest and in trepidation. Just to be safe, I take a bite of a pepperoni cup. Already I am transported to another part of this universe. So good. So salty. So porky. So cheesy. I had heard they crust them with parmesan cheese. They do and it works. I had to also think about this. Is this slice better than Prince St Pizza? The short answer is yes. It is bigger. The Mike's Hot Honey is a delight. The sauce is deep and ripe but not overpowering. The pepperoni is delicious. A Big 3 of righteousness and delectability. Now, is it better than Paulie Gee's? The short answer is no. But whoever conceived putting hot honey on a pepperoni slice, I applaud you. It works every time. There is no denying it. The slices are good, the service is friendly, and the experience is unique. Try these slices in your free time and hopefully you will feel how I feel. Who knows? Maybe you too will want to write about it.

Yelp
Make sure to eat this when hot or retoasted it tastes sooo much better fresh. There are minimal seats inside our outside on the sidewalk/street to enjoy it fresh out of the oven so just be aware of that. I really liked their pepperoni slice and know why so many people love this pizza. I'll admit i went because of the hype and it's expensive compared to the $1 slices but it is so good. The pepperoni is small, thick cut and they pile them on! My family thought they could've been more generous with the tomato sauce but the cheese was good too.

Yelp
I just paid $10 for two slices of pizza here . One was Sicilian and the other was just a cheese slice. I remember when $10 could get you a whole pizza . The pizza was a little too salty for me. Either the sauce was too salty or maybe it was a combination of that and the cheese, but it was definitely one of the saltier slices I've had. If you're hungry, this is a good place to go for a quick bite, but I think they could lower the sodium content in their pizza.

Yelp
On the way to The Leather Man, we walked by Village Square Pizza and I had to stop by and get a slice. I've been meaning to come here and always forget to stop by so this was my chance. We ordered 2 pepperoni squares, of course and one six point brewery slice sipper beer. The guy behind the counter was really nice. He heated the slices so it was hot! At first look, I noticed that it looks like 2 different type pepperonis. Like a thinner, crisper small slices of pepperoni and the other was bigger, thicker slices of pepperoni. The sauce was savory, a bit salty and the crust was very crispy. You def can hear the crunch when you bite into it. Since we were just eating Prince Street Pizza and one of the reason I wanted to check out Village is to compare the 2 sicilian slices. I would said the sauce is sweeter than PSP, but the crust is much crispier at Village Square. Probably because they reheat it for you for that The crust is slightly thicker than PSP and I don't really have a preference for that. Honestly, it's hard to choose between them, but since I'm a saucer gal, I think PSP is still my favorite. Still, Village Square Pizza is up there! !

Yelp
Solid option for pizza! I loved the crust on the vegetable slice. Each slice is also pretty substantial, so just one or two makes for a pretty satisfying meal.
