We got three large pizzas from Vinnie Van Go Go's last Friday to carry out for dinner at my friend's bachelorette party.
Originally, we'd hoped for delivery, but that wasn't available when we placed our order, so my friend and I drove over to pick our pizzas up after ordering online.
They were very busy, even just an hour before close. I stayed in my friend's car to make sure nothing happened to it while she went inside to get our order, but I could see the restaurant from where we parked and it looked like there was a long line. Looks like patio seating is available. Kind of nice. Other than that, can't really remark on the atmosphere.
My friend took a while getting our pizzas and came back reporting they seemed a little disorganized. The man she originally spoke to acted as though he had no idea what she was talking about when she walked up to claim our online order, and he eventually had to find someone else to help her. They managed to figure out the location of our order and give it to her.
We took our food back to the Airbnb and shared it with ~9 people. Three large pizzas were MORE than enough for our group; if we ordered again, we'd probably keep it to 2. We got one cheese, one pepperoni, and one veggie pizza so everyone would have something they liked. I usually prefer pepperoni pizza, but I really like pizza with light amounts of sauce, and after comparing the cheese vs the pepperoni, I opted for a slice of cheese as it looked less saucy.
My opinion on it was...it was fine? The cheese was gooey/chewy, which I liked. Still a little too much sauce for my preference. The crust was probably the best part -- not gluey, with nice chewiness/crispness depending on the bite. It was pretty greasy overall though. Honestly, except for the crust, which was superior, I didn't find it too different from a Domino's cheese pizza. That being said, I'm hardly a pizza aficionado, lol.
This place served its purpose and fed a bunch of hungry women looking to stay in for the night, so we appreciate it!
