We finally visited Walala Asian Noodles in Orlando, and this place truly lives up to the hype. If you are searching for authentic Asian food in Orlando, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. Everything here is made from scratch from the dumpling wrappers to the noodles and you can taste the difference in every single bite.
We started with the dumplings, and they were unforgettable. The dough is rolled to the perfect thickness soft and slightly chewy just enough to hold in the rich, juicy filling without being too heavy. Each fold is made with care, and when you bite into one, the flavor bursts out in the most comforting way.
Then came the noodles, and this is where Walala shines. Watching the chefs stretch, pull, and knife-cut the dough is like seeing food made with true dedication. The texture is what sets them apart: chewy, springy, and perfect for soaking up sauces and broth.
The dish that stole the show was the braised beef short rib stew with knife-cut noodles. The broth was rich, layered, and deeply savory, with tender beef that fell apart effortlessly. The fresh noodles absorbed all that flavor, making every bite both hearty and satisfying.
We also tried the handmade pan-fried buns golden and crisp on the outside, yet soft and fluffy inside. To finish, the beef skewers were smoky, juicy, and perfectly grilled, a great way to round out the meal.
Walala Asian Noodles is not just another noodle shop; it is a place where every detail, from the dough to the broth, is made with patience and love. If you are in Orlando and want fresh, handmade dishes that capture authentic flavor, this restaurant is one I highly recommend.
