"It's not just a name at this spot run by a father-daughter duo—it's a promise. It's all about Lanzhou-style hand-pulled noodles here, where counter seats face a glass-enclosed kitchen displaying bubbling broths and noodles being pulled. A massive bowl of savory, clear broth tangled with noodles and tender beef shank is a house classic; add Chinese pickles for an extra pop of flavor. Sub beef short rib for the shank and you'll discover another signature dish or opt for the dry-style noodles with ground pork and peanuts. While you're here for the noodles, there are plenty of other tempting options, including pan-fried dumplings and buns, and if you're lucky, Chinese fried dough with warm soy milk for dipping." - Michelin Inspector

Our family of eight people went there for dinner and we absolutely love this place! Do you know that they offer free additional plain pure noodles if you are not full with one bowl of noodle? (Soup, meat, not available and must dine in). This is so generous for those who have a relative large appetite. We ordered all six combos and love all of them. The beef skewers are my favorite even though it might be hard for little kids. The waiter is very polite and kind to us. All the services they provided are professional. highly recommend this place.

I've been to the restaurant twice, service was great and the food phenomenal. We ordered clear broth beef. Tried both pulled and shaved noodles personally I liked more the pulled noodles very aldente and you get more for your buck. Extra veggies are $1.00 more so it was very fulfilling. The tea egg and soy eggs 10/10. The veggie egg roll was perfectly crispy you get 3 for $5.98 but it was really good quality. The steamed dumplings weren't that good in my opinion but everything else was solid. Please note it's Chinese Ramen (I asked) and you can get extra noodles for free but you can't take it to go.

Google
Amazing noodles. Dumplings are good too. I recommend not ordering the mixed dumplings unless you replace the chicken dumplings. They are not bad but dumplings go better traditionally with pork and beef and they are so much more delicious. The noodles are the best. Free refills of noodles if you eat a lot too. I ordered the honey comb tripe too but didn’t enjoy it as much.

Google
Honestly, overhyped. The handmade pan-fried dumplings were lacking flavor and were very greasy. The tea-infused hard boiled egg had no tea flavor. The strawberry mochi chewy delight boba - came out warm. I’ve definitely had better boba tea elsewhere. Next, we had the braised beef short rib stew with Hand-pulled noodles. Very underwhelming. Lacking flavor. My daughter had the Knife Cut Noodles with Shredded Chicken in Clear Broth - underwhelming. Definitely will not return. The service / waiter was extremely friendly. Food came out fast.

Google
This place has a lot of hype, but I found it a bit overrated. It’s great to have a hand-pulled noodle spot in Orlando, and if you’re new to this style of noodles, it’s worth trying. The hand-pulled noodles were good, though not the best I’ve had. We ordered a couple bowls of braised beef short ribs and found that the amount of meat given was lacking. I wouldn’t recommend the pan-fried buns—ours were overcooked and stuck to the parchment paper, and unfortunately, the server didn’t seem concerned, which was disappointing. On the bright side, the beef skewers were well-seasoned, and the drinks were enjoyable. The unlimited noodles option was pretty cool but we didn’t need to use it as there were so much noodles already in the bowl.

This was our first time experiencing Walala and knew we had to get there early! Saturday, 12:05AM and the place was already 50% full! We were seated quickly, I instantly joined their rewards program, and the three of us ordered what we hoped would look like the photos in the menus. They did NOT DISAPPOINT! The flavors of the soup, the textures of the noodles, the spices, SO. GOOD! The place is totally cute inside, room for plenty of people, but it can fill up quickly and we witnessed lines form a few times. Two of us got a refill on our noodles, and it was well worth the wait (which wasn’t that long at all for pulled noodles!). Can’t wait to go there again and order different dishes. If you have the chance to dine here, please do, you won’t regret it!

My husband and I recently visited, and we were absolutely blown away by the food – definitely a 10/10 experience! We both tried the Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles: he had the short rib, and I opted for the beef shank without the spice. Both were delicious. It is a bit bright for dinner, but it's not a dealbreaker for us – we’ll definitely be back. We especially enjoyed watching the chefs hand-pull the noodles right behind the glass. The service was fast and efficient, making for a smooth dining experience. We can’t wait to return and try even more of the menu next time!

Amazing ramen! The spicy ramen has chili oil pooled to one side so you can mix it in gradually. Very fast service and they take payment at your table. If you sit in the bar area you can watch them pull the noodles, which are perfectly chewy. It does get busy at least Saturdays for lunch.

Yelp
A true hidden gen I nOrlando! Let me tell you my gf saw this place on the Orlando Asian Foodies page on Facebook. She's part Vietnamese so the idea of homemade pulled noodle begged her to go. We stopped in around 100 on a Friday. This place DID NOT dissappoint. It's very unassuming sitting in the Asian area of West Colonial Avenue. The food. Was phenomenal. She ordered a spicy short rib noodle dish and I ordered the beef shank and lamb skewer noodle dish. We also ordered the dumpling combo. The dishes were fresh and vibrant with flavor. The short rib was so tender. My dish almost had the Pho feel. The handmade noodles were amazing. One cool thing about this place is that YOU CAN GET REFILLS ON NOODLES! the dumplings were amazing. They were full of chicken, pork and shrimp. My favorite part of the meal was the spicy lamb skewer! Oh my gosh!!! You could taste the toasted cumin and it was so buttery. The service was amazing!! I had the rose lemonade. Overall live this place. The price point is kind of high but it's worth every penny!!! Get here NOW!

Yelp
My son asked us out for lunch and this is the best spot! Why I say? Because of the fresh ingredients, noodles and dumplings are hand made - in house! It doesn't get better than this! I'm Asian from the west coast and grew up eating Chinese food. I even traveled to NYC many times eating in Flushing and this is the spot! There's not a lot of authentic Chinese food in the greater Orlando area! But this is the spot! Food was amazing - 10 out of 10! Service was amazing! Our waiter let us know before hand of the 30 minute wait for noodle preparation but our food actually arrived faster than that! The ambiance was very pleasant, decor was very inspiring and the music was just pleasant! Looking for authentic Chinese noodle soup and hand made dumplings, you need to stop by here! Bring the whole family because they have large table seating in the rear!

Ches P.

Yelp
Hand pulled noodles are always a yes for me! So glad we can add another spot for one. The texture is amazing and has that perfect chew. Was also cool seeing the talented cooks making them right in front of you! I opted for the beef soup and it was seasoned deliciously. It reminded me of bun bo hue. Their chili oil is amazing. I do wish the broth was more temperature hot as well as an option for spicy mala tingling hot. I am not sure if it's permanent but they are using the adjacent space previously occupied by Chili Star for overflow seating. Service was a bit spotty as I think they still employed the same amount of staff despite the additional seating. The handmade boiled dumplings are worth returning for alone!

Yelp
Chinatown is on fire lately, just like me after I after order something spicy here. But for real, we got the Spicy Sliced Beef Shank $17 and it spiced up my entire life. I considered moving to Alaska to cool down. It was delicious tho and if you're up for it I highly recommend, plus it's big enough to share for 2. We also got the gyoza app and it was so fresh, the wrapper was tender and the filling was well seasoned and juicy. Run out of noodles? No worries, they will refill on request for Free99. Service was a little slow, but it was a packed Saturday (for good reason) so it was understandable.

Lawrence U.

Yelp
I heard about this place and finally was able see what the hype of the had pulled noodles is all about. Sat at the bar and watched the noodles made from dough to being hand pulled to strings of noodles. Ordered the ramen which was delicious and spiced right.service was fast.

Yelp
All you can noodle!! What I got the traditional beef hand pulled noodle combo spicy. Presentation was not top priority.. ha so it means it's good. The noodles were good, they were cooked a little too chewy for me, but non the less good. So good I got extra, which were free!! This is quite impressive for being freshly pulled! The beef slices were okay, I thought it was thicker and more tender, did not look like the photos in the menu book. I got the spicy and it was okay, not as spicy for me. Not sure if it is because I was busy but the noodle can take a bit before it arrives Environment Located in the Chinatown plaza off 50 in the same plaza as Enron market. There is plenty of parking available. The inside could get quite packed pretty quickly. I was with a party of 5 and they stuck us on a table with just adding a side chair, which may be because one of the party was a kid. The mood inside is more casual vibes. Niceness of the staff You know how it is at the Asian restaurants. These servers are very effective, you can call on any of the servers and they can assist you. I doubt they pay much attention to details but I asked for the noodles to be cooked a bit softer and they ignored it. Dollar It was expensive for noodles I thought, but I guess it assumes the extra noodles. It was $18. Yes/No? Yes, sure, slurp away. Great first experience

Yelp
5 stars for our first visit! We have been meaning to try Walala for some time, but you really have to be in the mood for such a heavy meal. We visited on a Saturday for lunch, close to 1pm. It was pretty busy but we were able to snag a table right away. Since the bowl looked pretty big we opted to share one noodle dish and started with the fried dumplings for $7.95. These were not your average restaurant dumplings, super fresh and I loved how much meat there was with the crispy bottom! For our noodle dish we tried the crispy spicy beef shank, $16.95. It's definitely spicy if you think it won't be and I loved how fresh the noodles tasted, along with the onion, cilantro and garlic. They will give you more noodles if you need. Service was nice but it does get a little crazy when it's fully seated. If you're looking for some fresh noodles you can taste, this place is a definite MUST!

Katya G.

Yelp
What caught our attention about this place was the homemade noodles and let me tell you that they did not disappoint! Their noodles were delicious! They were thick and stretchy. Our server was very kind she asked if it was our first time and walked us through the menu. I wished they had more sitting because there was a line out the door. Will definitely come back

Yelp
Rare Authentic Restaurant #83 - Chinese Hand Pull Noodles Great hand pull noodle place. I have order a hand pull noodle dish. The chef demonstrates the pull noodle skill. It is intriguing. It changes from a dough to thin noodles. I got the classic noodle soup with slice beef shank with grill lamb skewers combo. The noodle is very delicious. The beef shank accompaniment well. I think the meat is a bit thin slices. The large lamb skew is delicious. My wife got the short rib noodle. That also a good dish. We added pan fried pork steam bun. They indicated this is their best shop item. I feel they are ok. We also got the mango, pamelo sago. I like this drink.

Ri M.

Yelp
Texture of the hand pulled noodles gave ot a nice bite, broth was not oily and blended well with the flavor of the beef shank. I opted out of the chili oil in fear of it being too spicy so I just added a few drops. The lamb skewers were well seasoned but chewy. Casual setting and if you sit near the kitchen you get to watch the noodles hand pulled right before they cook it. Moderate wait time but the staff were pleasant and no complaints on the service. It's quite a distance from where I live but will have to go back to try the ramen and another dish.

Aixa A.

Yelp
Omg ! Noodles are delicious, soup well seasoned meat tender and tasty. We also have the dumplings combo yummy . Services is good very relaxed ambiance btw . I will come back definitely!

Stephanie I.

Yelp
I was unprepared for how exceptional these noodles were gonna be. I ordered for takeout. I ordered the house stirfry noodles. The wait time was kind of long so be prepared to wait. I got there right as they opened and there were only a few other people there but I still waited a good 30 minutes for my to go order. And while I was waiting the entire place filled up to capacity. I got my noodles ran some errands and then went home to eat them reheated. I honestly don't know what I was expecting, but I was completely blown away by how delicious these noodles were. The texture and the flavor were unlike anything else I've had. I definitely plan on going back again and trying their soups.

Alyssa S.

Yelp
Amazing noodle place in Chinatown! There's not much to say except that the noodles are probably some of the best in Orlando! Perfectly chewy! And sitting in the most flavorful broth! They do offer noodle refills but honestly they already give you so much noodles from the get go I was absolutely stuffed. They do serve stuff other than noodles, like dumplings and chicken wings but we didn't order them so I can't comment on it. We did, however, get the bubble teas they offer which were pretty good! The venue is nice, well lit and brightly decorated. So cool that you can see into the kitchen and watch them cook and pull noodles! I will say the place is a little small, so it's probably somewhat hectic on busy days. But the service was fine on our visit. Can't wait for the next time I get to eat those delicious noodles!

Yelp
We were excited for the hand pulled noodles so decided to finally check this place out. My fiance ordered the hand pulled spicy beef soup and I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. We also each ordered a drink and for appetizers, we had a tea egg and dumplings. The noodles were spectacular! Bouncy and chewy and it was cool you could see the chef working on them in the back. The broth was extremely disappointing. I tried the spicy beef broth and it just tasted like water. No flavor, no spice. You could see some hot oil in the broth, but it didn't come through in the taste. My ramen broth was decent, but very light considering tonkotsu broth is normally very rich. We did like the fact that noodles were unlimited, but they gave us plenty to start with. The drinks were the highlight of the night and we were very satisfied with them. The prices were reasonable to boot. The dumplings were also a disappointment. The presentation was very mid...why have wings on the dumplings if you don't serve them wing side up? They weren't bad, but they weren't anything amazing. The tea egg was not bad. Inside, it was brightly lit and the walls had giant photos of their dishes. Very bright and happy. My opinion was that iit was a little too bright, but my fiance was a fan of the brightness. Tables were clean and the seating was spaced out and comfy.

Yelp
I've seen this place pop up on my IG feed a few times, and we're always on the hunt for new noodle spots. After visiting, I'm a bit torn on how I feel about it because, while some elements shined, others fell short--especially the broth. Here's a breakdown of our experience: Clear Broth Beef Noodles The noodles were absolutely delicious--fresh and clearly handmade (we even saw the chef making them as we walked in!). However, the broth was disappointing. It lacked depth and tasted more like hospital-grade chicken soup on a low-sodium diet. The beef was soft and tender but just as flavorless as the broth. Korean Fried Chicken This dish was the biggest letdown. Who doesn't love a crunchy Korean Fried Chicken? Unfortunately, it didn't deliver. While it had a bit of crunch, the sauce overwhelmed everything. It tasted like tamarind, which I don't mind, but it was far too thick and over-applied. We only managed to eat 2 out of the 8 pieces. Boiled Pork Dumplings with Napa Cabbage A standout dish! These dumplings were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and completely devoured. We'd definitely order them again. Signature Housemade Bacon Fried Rice Another winner! The rice was cooked just right, with excellent flavor and a great balance of bacon and vegetables. A must-try. Overall Impressions The menu was a highlight--it featured pictures of the dishes, which helped us get a clear sense of what to expect. The service was fast and efficient, and the atmosphere was welcoming. While the noodles and some dishes impressed, the broth, which is central to their reputation, really needs improvement. If they can nail the flavor in their soups, this place has the potential to be a 5-star spot. We'll be back to try more of their noodle dishes and other menu items!

Angelina F.

Yelp
If you like ramen and dumplings you will love Walala. They hand pull the noodles from behind glass so you watch! They even have seating near the chefs so you eat and watch as well. They offered a large menu and everything on there looked amazing. I got pork dumplings per usual and they were delicious. My ramen was so large I was able to eat it for two additional meals which was lovely! I think it's also unlimited noodles so bring your appetite! I can't wait to try more options next time I'm in town!

Yelp
A massive bowl of pulled noodles topped with sliced beef and chili oil, resting on a white broth with topping... drooling. Seriously, hands down the best noodles I've had in Orlando. Chili oil level to perfection. I must have arrived at Walala during busy time around 11:30 on a Sunday, but we were seated (party of two) at the bar after waiting about 10 minutes. We ordered pretty quickly and that was really the only time our server came to us near the bar seating area even though my water was empty half of the time. My noodle bowl was amazing! The pan fried dumplings were good, but not as juicy as I was expecting. Honestly, the food is amazing and I'd definitely go back, but going during a busy time definitely could reflect on service...

Jensine C.

Yelp
So happy to have finally tried out Walala. Located in Colonial Town off West colonial, this restaurant is in the same plaza as Enson Asian Market. The staff are attentive and friendly. The seating is snug and limited but they have an open kitchen so you can see the team in action. Their menu is vast so take you time, but they are known for their hand pulled noodles. We really liked their pan fried dumplings soft and tender but crispy bottoms is exactly how we like ours. My hubs got the pork chasu ramen bowl which he just slurped up. Served with corn and soft boiled egg as accompaniments. That pork chasu was thinner and more charred that what we have tried from Domu. The broth was stewed for a long time and full of deep flavor. I really enjoyed the Palm Coast Meats collab offerings they have until the end of January 2025. I ordered the thin sliced Wagyu hand pulled noodles bowl, also served with soft boiled egg, radish, and LOTS of chili oil. I honestly didn't really think it was that spicy until like the last bite when I'm pretty sure a chili pepper got to the back of my throat. Overall very good, would definitely come back. Did I forget to mention you get unlimited hand pulled noodles as long as you have broth left in your bowl. FYI please join their Noodle Lovers Club.

Beatrice P.

Yelp
This is a great find tucked away in China Town shopping center on Colonial. Everyone in there was very helpful and I got my food very quickly. While you wait you can watch a guy hand pull noodles in their open kitchen. I got the mixed dumplings (very good) and the stir fried noodles. The noodles were good and had a fantastic texture and bite to them. I will defiantly be going back

Megan T.

Yelp
Every dish had great flavor! The noodles had a great chew. The cucumbers were very garlicky, which I love! The mango pomelo sago was good, there's a bit of a coconut flavor? I've had better, but I've also had way worse lol. I would come back! The service was a bit strange. They have a QR code for you to join the waitlist but it doesn't seem like they actually use it? The decor was cute.

Jean Claire G.

Yelp
We had a fantastic experienced at Walala Asian Noodle Ramen! They offer a great selection of drinks, including bubble tea and fruit tea. I tried the Real Pulp Orange Mango, and it was incredibly refreshing, not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. To start, we enjoyed the handmade pan-fried buns, which were absolutely delicious. For the main course, we ordered two noodle dishes: the Braised Beef Boneless Short Rib Stew Hor Fun and the Clear Broth Beef Boneless Short Rib Hor Fun. Both were outstanding, the broth was rich and flavorful, and the meat was tender and packed with flavor. Highly recommend!

Deena S.

Yelp
Delicious hand pulled noodles. It was fun to watch the chef make the hand pulled noodles. I had the Mango Pomelo Sago drink which was fantastic. The taste was good and I loved the chunks of fresh mango and pink pomelo (its a pink citrus fruit) at the bottom that came up through the straw. To eat I had the Signature Braised Beef Boneless Short Rib Stew Rice Noodles that came with the three classic side dishes. I ordered it medium spicy but it wasn't spicy at all. On the table there is a spicy pepper sauce that you can add to your soup. The boneless short ribs in the soup was so delicious and the hand pulled noodles were also fantastic. The broth was not memorable. My vegetarian husband had the Hand-pulled Noodles with vegetables (vegetable soup) which is on the menu they give you but not on the website menu. He LOVED it! We also had the potstickers which were amazing! I would go back to the restaurant just for that If I only had one choice if what to eat there. The three classic side dishes were good. My favorite of the three were the peanuts. ALSO, the service was great. There were two waiters who stayed in the dining room constantly scanning the tables to see if anyone needed something. One time when I looked at them, one of them immediately came over to the table to ask how it was going. He had seen how I was rolling the noodles with my chopsticks and asked if I needed a fork. He got the forks for us really fast.

Carlos R.

Yelp
Not a fancy place but with great noodles. Good service, if you consider the fact that are handmade noodles and you are willing to wait., the ambience is ok. Is packed all the time because they are good in what they do.?

Michael M.

Yelp
12-25-2025 Okay, now this was a lot of fun! In sticking with time honored tradition we decided to have some Chinese for dinner and since I'd never tried the hand pulled noodle thing, this is where we ended up. The QR code check in was easy and we were seated right away, friendly staff was super busy and though things took some time (It was Christmas night after all...) we never felt neglected. Not much ambiance to speak of, most of their decor is ads for themselves, but there is a window where you can watch the noodle puller work! Our pan fried dumplings appetizer was absolutely delicious. Crispy edges, filled with meat, and a delicious dipping sauce too. We both went for the current Wagyu beef specials, the lovely Spensyr opted for a wet bowl, noodles and broth, while I went dry, but both of us thought we made the better decision. Although free noodle refills are available, neither of us needed it as there was the perfect amount of food the first time. I will definitely be back.

Vivian P.

Yelp
I recently visited Walala Asian Noodle House and had mixed feelings about my experience. The highlight was definitely the perfectly cooked hand-pulled noodles, which I was pleased to customize to a wider width--just how I like them. The broth was flavorful. You can also get free noodle refills once you are done. Unfortunately, the service was a significant downside. After three visits, I only encountered one good server, the lady who was attentive and helpful. The other servers seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, which detracted from the overall experience. While the noodles were a delight, the inconsistent service makes it hard to fully recommend Walala. If you can overlook the service issues, it might be worth a visit for the hand pull noodle soups alone. The space does not have a lot of tables, so during rush hour, the line can be pretty long.

Tony P.

Yelp
Walala's hand-pulled noodles are amazing! The texture is spot on, and the flavors are rich and authentic. Plus, once you finally get your order in, the food comes out surprisingly fast, which is a nice bonus. That said, getting someone to actually take your order is a bit of a struggle. The service is slow, and it feels like you're waiting forever just to get noticed. But if you're patient, the food is definitely worth it! Overall, great for a quick, delicious meal--just be prepared for a wait when ordering.

Kimberly E.

Yelp
Such a good noodle find in the Chinatown plaza, it's a must try! The service was efficient with getting customers in and accommodated my group of 10 in a reasonable amount of time. There's the plaza to walk around and kill time. The menu is a little overwhelming bc there's just so many options but I enjoyed my beef noodles! FYI noodles are unlimited (allegedly! I was too full to eat more) as the signs say.

Michael M.

Yelp
Stopped in for a bowl of their famous noodles. Got the traditional combo with beef and three sides. The noodles were amazing and you can definitely tell the difference when they are fresh. The broth was very nice and a little chili sauce perked it up just right. The radish and green onion enhanced the flavor nicely. I was kinda hoping the beef would be a bit more professionally sliced like the picture but it wasn't. The sides were a nice compliment. The spicy long bean was pretty spicy but the cold soy beans cooled that off and the peanuts added a saltiness which was needed. I would suggest eating in that order, a little bit of each at avtime until it is gone. 4 star for great food and service. Presentation needs some help.

Cindy M.

Yelp
We've been waiting to try this place and are so glad we finally made it out. Got here right when they opened as we have a toddler and baby. Getting here early was easy to accommodate seating for our party. Same for if you wanted to accommodate a party of 6. Most tables are for 4, with a handful of 2 seats and bar seating in the back. Inside is bright and clean and it was nice that the AC kept the place cold while eating hot soup. Food wise I had the standard beef noodle soup with hand pulled noodles. Husby had the spicy version. Saw that they did noodle refills for rice or ramen noodles, but the noodle portion was great! Broth was spicy, deep flavor profile and although I chose the standard beef there was a nice welcome of spicy oil. The spicy broth was definitely more seasoned. There is additional spicy oil and vinegar on the table. Service was great, everyone was nice and a server set up the booster seat for us. They even brought out extra bowl for our toddler. Plenty of other Asian families also dining. You can see the chef making the noodles. Menu was easy to read lots of pictures. Bathroom clean, no changing table but yes to Ada bars. Overall great experience, and definitely would be back!

Yelp
Came here for my fiance's birthday for a quick lunch! We came at a bit of an ambiguous time for lunch but we were seated very quickly and our food arrived in less than 5 minutes after we ordered. I recommend coming at more of an ambiguous hour if you want to be seated with a larger group of people! We got the short rib and this time tried the wagyu soup w chili oil! The wagyu was delicious and very tender! We signed up for the noodles lover club hoping to use the $15 off but didn't realize we couldn't sign up day of but thankfully the staff was able to give us 20% off our meal as a birthday gift to my fiancé! Overall great experience :)

Yelp
I have been to Walala a few times now since opening. The noodles are comforting dishes for me. Reminds me of my childhood in Chinatown. I usually get the hor fun. I've done chicken and the short ribs. Was not fan of the chicken. I love the short ribs. The only thing I really dislike is how the hor fun sticks together even while in the soup. It's difficult to separate with chopsticks. They aren't suppose to stick together. I have done the Korean wings. Not a fan. Way too saucy. Dumplings are good. My son has done the ground beef noodles with no soup a few times. The last time he got sick right after eating half of the noodles. Had to run to bathroom with stomach cramps. Service is ok.

Yelp
I was able to sit at the bar and watch the noodles be made. It was a great experience. The only got 4 stars as the chicken soup broth had very little flavor. I did enjoy the pan fried bibs. The bottoms were crispy and had a flavorful sauce. They unfortunately forgot the fried "doughnut " with the fresh made soy milk, as I am not sure of the real name. The advice was impeccable from when you are greeted and offered tea to the waitresses taking your orders. The food came out fast The small place was extremely busy but that is a good thing for them but did not affect the service.

Yelp
I understand the hype!! Delicious food. Free noodle refills! Lovely service! And the dumplings??? I have had sooo many dumplings in my life and these are the best. The wrapper is so thin and tender but then they make it them with wings and pan fry the bottom so it's crispy and yum. The filling is seasoned perfectly. The he broth in my pork rib soup was flavorful.. noodles perfectly chewy .. just so yum. So happy I came in and I will be back for sure.

Yelp
For our first visit, we ordered a variety of their offerings: braised beef boneless short rib stew with hand-pulled noodles, tea-infused boiled eggs, sizable beef skewers, boiled pork dumplings, deep-fried dough sticks (youtiao), fresh soybean milk, orange fruit tea, and a strawberry mochi milk tea. I loved the braised beef beef stew, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the broth was rich and flavorful. The beef skewers are simple but delicious. The dumplings are nice and simple. Love love love the deep-fried dough sticks, they were the best I've had! They're great dipped in soybean milk or soaked in soup, and my favorite thing to do is tearing them into pieces and adding them to the soup. The orange fruit tea was just like a crushed up orange, while the strawberry mochi milk tea was less sweet than expected and seemed like it was milk only rather than a milk tea. One of the highlights of Walala is watching the skilled chef pull the noodles. Plus, they offer free refills on all of their noodles, including rice noodles and ramen! The service was fairly quick. They didn't check in much but I only had to flag them down a couple of times. The interior was bright and not very spacious, but it offered a reasonable amount of seating

Yelp
Amazing as always! They added few more things on their menu. Just missing a white rice!

Yelp
The staff takes your order fairly quickly and the food comes out pretty quickly also. The noodle soup looks very spicy but it isn't too bad, and it's flavorful. Someone in my group got a mala soup base, and that one was a bit more heavy and definitely more numbing in spices. The braised beef boneless ribs were very tender to me, and they gave a lot of meat in it. You can also ask for thicker noodles if you get the hand-pulled noodles, and they allow you to get refills on noodles also! I also got the fried dough sticks with soy milk combo. I think it's really worth it since the fried dough sticks are so big, and they taste great being dipped in the soup (and soy milk). The soy milk isn't sweetened but they ask if you would like some sugar to add. The dough sticks are freshly fried and they're very crunchy. The combo sets look very affordable and I would definitely come back to try them out some time There are counter seats and table seats at the restaurant. At the counter seats you can see them making the dishes, and a bit off to the side (closer to the table spots) is where they make the noodles. Overall, I would give the place a solid 8/10.

Yelp
The best part of this place was the service. We went on a busy Saturday night and our waiter saw our large party and warned us the kitchen was backed up. Setting our expectations low, he was able to far exceed them. Only one of our MANY dishes was what I'd consider delayed. He was also very friendly. My favorite was the fried buns. The hand pulled noodles are the star. I wasn't blown away by the broth, but I did like the fried noodles I stole from a companion's plate.

Yelp
We loved Chili Star so we were happy that we had our favorite server. As non beef or pork eaters we were very limited as to what we could order. Most of the Brotz have pork in it, but there was one vegetarian broth that we used as our base for a chicken noodle dish. The stock was rich and very flavorful. The noodles has a great texture, but when I think of hand pulled noodles I think of a wider noodle not so much a Ramen noodle much like I would get at our favorite food truck. The bowls were giant and the chicken was great. I like that that they gave you scissors to help cut the very long noodles. We also tried the tea soaked egg, which was OK. I'm not sure for us that I would drive out there again since there are so many other options that cater more to our limited diet. Yeah advantage here is the give you as much noodle as you want so we asked for a wide noodle, which I think was the rice noodle and hubby doctored it up with chili and black vinegar

Yelp
Last Sunday I went since I was in the area around 145 pm. Busy but since I was by myself I opted for sitting at the kitchen bar area! I got to watched the chef making the noodles closely! The server is attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the drink menu is not available at all. But I have ordered the noddles and skewers combo. It arrived fairly quickly even though they were quite busy! The noodles are super yummy and has good amount of chew! I love it. The soup base are very tasty! And the skewers are very tasty also! I will definitely go back again and hopefully the drink menu will be available then for me to try!

Yelp
Best beef noodle soup in town. 11/10 in flavor. We sat at the kitchen bar and watched the chefs at work and the noodle master make those hand pulled noodles per dish! I still don't understand the physics behind making them so thin and chewy We went on a Saturday night around 6PM with no wait. Staff were super friendly and helped guided us around the menu as well.

Yelp
Food amazing. Very friendly staff.. especially if you want something hot soup and the noodles are delicious and you can tell the noodles are fresh.

Yelp
This was my first time here and I was a very happy individual. Places is fairly new it's clean. Not all that big but very comfortable. Service was quick. Menu is large. I had a lemon tea and a honeycomb tripe stew. This came under $25. You will get a very large portion of both. The noodles are made right as you place your order, so you can't ask for anything fresher. On the table is a hot oil and some soy sauce to adjust your flavor. The noodles are nice and firm but the best part they are fresh. Haven't had fresh homemade noodles since leaving Japan. So worth trying.

Yelp
During my visit to Wa La La, i had a mixed experience. The lamb skewers were a clear winner, boasting tender and flavorful meat that left me craving more. However, the noodle broth fell flat, lacking the rich and savory flavors I had anticipated. Although the unlimited noodle refills were a nice touch, the broth's shortcomings detracted from the overall experience. To make matters worse, the milk matcha tea was a disappointment, failing to deliver the creamy and slightly sweet notes I've come to associate with a well-crafted matcha tea. Wait time was long since it was a small space.

Yelp
The hype is real and if you are looking at this place on Yelp, just go ahead and go. ! I saw this place on Instagram and a friend had mentioned liking the food there, so we decided to try it. I'd had good ramen before but never authentic Chinese noodles. I got the beef shank and my husband got the braised short ribs. Both were so good! I added the spicy stuff to the beef shank and it was incredible. We also tried the pan fried buns , and those were great too! Neither of us can eat much in one sitting so we are excited to enjoy our leftovers for the next few meals. I saw they provide free noodle refills and can't imagine being hungry enough to even need that. Service was efficient and ambiance was cute, bright and well done. Oh also the teas and boba!!! So good.

Yelp
It was my first time eating at Walala asian restaurant. I had the beef with rice noodle soup, hubby had the dry noodles w/different meats in it and for appetizer we had steam pork dumpling.

Yelp
The stuff was great, service fast, got the spicy beef noodle soup. The hand pulled noodle was great, you can see the chef making them. Annnnnd its free refill noodle. It was great way to get delicious food and definitely get full.

Yelp
This place is fine. It's bright and decent. You can see the kitchen staff prepare noodles and they are nonstop there. The service is ok and the food comes fast. A bit pricey and the noodles aren't the tastiest. Overall not the best and just ok.
