Yelp
I've seen this place pop up on my IG feed a few times, and we're always on the hunt for new noodle spots. After visiting, I'm a bit torn on how I feel about it because, while some elements shined, others fell short--especially the broth. Here's a breakdown of our experience:
Clear Broth Beef Noodles
The noodles were absolutely delicious--fresh and clearly handmade (we even saw the chef making them as we walked in!). However, the broth was disappointing. It lacked depth and tasted more like hospital-grade chicken soup on a low-sodium diet. The beef was soft and tender but just as flavorless as the broth.
Korean Fried Chicken
This dish was the biggest letdown. Who doesn't love a crunchy Korean Fried Chicken? Unfortunately, it didn't deliver. While it had a bit of crunch, the sauce overwhelmed everything. It tasted like tamarind, which I don't mind, but it was far too thick and over-applied. We only managed to eat 2 out of the 8 pieces.
Boiled Pork Dumplings with Napa Cabbage
A standout dish! These dumplings were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and completely devoured. We'd definitely order them again.
Signature Housemade Bacon Fried Rice
Another winner! The rice was cooked just right, with excellent flavor and a great balance of bacon and vegetables. A must-try.
Overall Impressions
The menu was a highlight--it featured pictures of the dishes, which helped us get a clear sense of what to expect. The service was fast and efficient, and the atmosphere was welcoming. While the noodles and some dishes impressed, the broth, which is central to their reputation, really needs improvement. If they can nail the flavor in their soups, this place has the potential to be a 5-star spot. We'll be back to try more of their noodle dishes and other menu items!
