Yelp
Willa's has an interesting menu, and it's hard to pinpoint what exactly they specialize in. I've been here multiple times since they first opened. Initially, I wasn't too impressed--though their cocktails were delicious--but my recent visit completely changed my mind.
Unfortunately, the phone did not eat first . The food was pretty good this time around! I tried the Smashburger, which was unique since it came on an English muffin. My only critique is that it could have used a bit more condiments, but the fries were absolutely delicious, crispy, and a great portion size.
We also tried the Steak Frites. My friend ordered it medium, but it leaned a little too raw for our liking. However, the chimichurri sauce that accompanied the dish was amazing and really elevated the flavor. The Shrimp Frites was good as well, though the sauce was slightly salty.
For dessert, the crème brûlée was a highlight--perfect texture, not too sweet, and just right. Another favorite was the mac & cheese, which had a very generous portion size and a creamy, yummy flavor.
One thing I can't forget is the cucumber soda--it was so refreshing! I could've easily had 10 of these. Even though it's a non-alcoholic drink, it would make a fantastic base for a cucumber gimlet.
Service was another standout. Everyone was super attentive and kind, with multiple staff members checking in on us throughout our meal. It wasn't too busy for a Friday night, but I know this place can get packed, so plan accordingly.
Another thing to mention is Willa's Provisions, a separate area with different hours where you can grab coffee, muffins, and other treats. One of my favorites there--and also available in the restaurant--is the affogato, which is always a treat.
The vibe at Willa's is relaxed but still feels a bit upscale, making it a great spot for both casual hangouts and nicer dinners. The decor is modern and cozy, so it's stylish without feeling too formal.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. Willa's has definitely won me over, and I'll be back!
