Tampa Bay’s Best Bars to Celebrate Women’s History Month | Eater

"Willa’s is a quirky, friendly neighborhood restaurant set inside a low-rise brick building in North Hyde Park. The bright colors and personable servers make it the kind of place you can’t help but feel welcomed, embodying the spirit of the woman it’s named after — Tampa pioneer William Lowry. Yes, William was a woman, and her great-granddaughter founded the restaurant to honor Lowry’s legacy. The kitchen puts out some of the best dishes in Tampa Bay. Whatever you order, pair it with the Monkey Around, comprised of Zacapa No. 23 Rum, creme de banane, fresh lime juice, and demerara syrup — which came to be thanks to event manager Angelique Emerson." - Matthew Meltzer

Willa's Review - Catskill - Hudson Valley - The Infatuation

"As soon as you read this, put your phone down, get in the closest car you can find, and head to Willa’s for a cinnamon roll. Their version is pillowy on top, buttery and crispy on the bottom, and slathered in a sticky vanilla glaze that oozes into the cinnamony layers. The savory sandwiches are also worth making the trip for: get the egg and cheese with herby mayo or the potato and pepper-crammed breakfast burrito if you’re in need of proper sustenance for a long day of antiquing on Main Street. Just be prepared to wait—Willa’s is extremely popular and usually packed with chatty locals." - Clare Lagomarsino

We’ve been to Willa’s twice already and absolutely loved it! Our server Keeley was amazing, extremely attentive and kind. The food is incredible (highly recommend the French toast!), and their hot lattes are top-tier. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious. The place has a spacious parking lot, it’s really cozy inside, and there’s even a café next door for those just looking to enjoy a coffee. Definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to often!

Our best dining experience in Tampa! Every single worker was so warm, personable and attentive. Our waiter Duncan was so helpful and efficient. We all LOVED our meals. The spicy rigatoni is amazing, so is the mac n cheese, disco fries, chicken and steak frites and the house salad. We all loved our cocktails. They were so helpful with changing our reservation and the restaurant was adorable. They made our friends birthday so special, the staff even made her a hand drawn and written birthday card!

Google
The perfect brunch spot ! Had a kid free morning for our anniversary && was able to get a last minute reservation here. Our server Keely was great & very attentive. The restaurant was perfect, we sat outside and were able to just enjoy the quietness. The food was fresh and big portions. Keely was super sweet for acknowledging our anniversary, it was very thoughtful. Definitely recommend!

Food was delicious! I got Nate's plate during brunch time. 😋 the scrambled egg and house salmon gravlax was really good. Our server was very attentive, we were seated outdoor seats but he checked on us very often even though it was full house. Will definitely return! 💯

Google
The place is cute and nice. The food was worth the 30 mins wait. Ordered the Nate’s plate - the scrambled eggs which came with it were delightful to eat. The fig latte was definitely refreshing. Would highly recommend. Ordered a peach cobbler for dessert and it was pretty good too. Went with a 3/5 for service as the staff was little cold before we got the table(during the time of reservation). But, the food compensated and made up for the experience.

Willa’s has been on my list for a long time. The menu is awesome, food was delicious, atmosphere really cute. Went for a girls day and great for brunch/lunch. Lots of vegetarian friendly options as well. I had the broccolini melt and it was a large portion (enough for left overs so my husband enjoyed it too)

Google
Stopped by this gem while on vacay, and it seriously delivered. Super clean, bigger than it looks from outside—and yes, there’s a cozy coffee shop attached. My server (pretty sure her name was Katie) was the best—super friendly, knew her whiskey, and hooked me up with an espresso martini with whiskey that was strong, smooth, and just what I needed. I ordered the Breakfast Plate: cheesy scrambled eggs, thick-cut bacon, and buttery brioche toast—added extra meat, of course. Every bite was flavorful, savory, and cooked just right. One of the best breakfast plates I’ve had at a restaurant, period. If you’re in the area, GO. 10/10 vibes, top-tier service, and yes—there’s a parking lot in the back.

Google
Very enjoyable meal. We visited for dinner. All the dishes were cooked perfectly and the service was great. The Chicken Schnitzel was flavorful and the sides were also delicious, totally recommend their Brussels sprouts.

Yelp
Ahhh yes what a cool, hip and vibe at this wonderful lunch/brunch spot! I decided to come with my son last week and what a great call it was. The service was phenomenal, the orders of Mac and Cheese for my 2 year old and my Smashburger, were winning orders! I wish I had a cocktail but today it was my turn to drive. The nice touch was they have a kids menu and crayons to keep the kiddies busy. I can't wait to come back for some brunch action and some cocktails! There is street parking a limited space parking lot. Well done Willa's!

Yelp
Willa's has an interesting menu, and it's hard to pinpoint what exactly they specialize in. I've been here multiple times since they first opened. Initially, I wasn't too impressed--though their cocktails were delicious--but my recent visit completely changed my mind. Unfortunately, the phone did not eat first . The food was pretty good this time around! I tried the Smashburger, which was unique since it came on an English muffin. My only critique is that it could have used a bit more condiments, but the fries were absolutely delicious, crispy, and a great portion size. We also tried the Steak Frites. My friend ordered it medium, but it leaned a little too raw for our liking. However, the chimichurri sauce that accompanied the dish was amazing and really elevated the flavor. The Shrimp Frites was good as well, though the sauce was slightly salty. For dessert, the crème brûlée was a highlight--perfect texture, not too sweet, and just right. Another favorite was the mac & cheese, which had a very generous portion size and a creamy, yummy flavor. One thing I can't forget is the cucumber soda--it was so refreshing! I could've easily had 10 of these. Even though it's a non-alcoholic drink, it would make a fantastic base for a cucumber gimlet. Service was another standout. Everyone was super attentive and kind, with multiple staff members checking in on us throughout our meal. It wasn't too busy for a Friday night, but I know this place can get packed, so plan accordingly. Another thing to mention is Willa's Provisions, a separate area with different hours where you can grab coffee, muffins, and other treats. One of my favorites there--and also available in the restaurant--is the affogato, which is always a treat. The vibe at Willa's is relaxed but still feels a bit upscale, making it a great spot for both casual hangouts and nicer dinners. The decor is modern and cozy, so it's stylish without feeling too formal. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. Willa's has definitely won me over, and I'll be back!

Yelp
Willa's is such a cute spot for dinner or lunch. They have outdoor, indoor and bar seating. Recently grabbed lunch with girlfriends and tried the rotisserie chicken. It was SO good. The chimichurri sauce and crispy fries were delicious. They also have lovely specialty coffee offerings. I enjoyed their flat white.

Yelp
We landed in Tampa on Friday for a college tour and as we thought about a place to grab lunch we realized it was Valentine's Day and all of the restaurants would be extra busy. We came to Willa's and a super friendly hostess greeted us and found a way to snag us a spot at the bar. We are so happy it worked out! Katie at the bar took good care of us, and I loved my glass of sparkling rose with a bright and fresh avocado toast. My daughter enjoyed the breakfast plate, but the most amazing thing on the plate was the grits - they were creamy and just a hint of spice, I could've eaten a whole bowl! The decor and wall paintings are so pretty, and this just feels like a special place to be. They have a large outdoor dining area, too!

Yelp
I finally made it to Willa's! It was a last minute idea so we didn't have time to make a reservation. We ate at the bar, and I will definitely make a reservation the next time. I got the croque madame for brunch and it was sooooo good! I wanted almost everything on the menu so I will need to make a return trip!

Yelp
Went to brunch here on a rainy Sunday morning with a party of 5 and only waited 15 minutes to be sat. The wait staff is so kind and really made our experience! It was our friend's birthday and they made it a point to make her feel special and embraced the party hats we brought to the restaurant. The latkes are a MUST ORDER! The waiter described them perfectly as an elevated McDonald's hash brown. Perfectly crispy! The latte and matcha were creamy and clearly made with high quality matcha and espresso. As for our main dishes, I wasn't overly impressed with the huevos rancheros nor the mushroom omelette (the reason for minus one star). The vibes of this restaurant though would make me return. In my opinion, Tampa lacks breakfast places and this spot fulfills that craving.

Yelp
When we arrived the hostesses asked us if we'd like a table or to sit at the bar, we sat at the bar and the bartender wasn't really spritely. I get she was busy, but she didn't greet us nor did she introduce herself. She gave us the menus and asked us if we've been there before and if we'd like to order. We let her know it was our first time there so she said let her know if we had any questions from the menu. While we waited for our food we asked for spring water and she said there wasn't any, but I found some in their min fridge across from us at the bar. She apologized though. Then she put in an order for hot matcha tea instead of iced like I asked. She wasn't really attentive, but was nice, we talked to her a bit and her demeanor changed from tense to chill. My boyfriend had to ask her, her name and it is Cass. The food was good for the most part, I really liked the potato onion latkes. The roasted chicken frites was yummy, but the skin needed more crisp and if it didn't have the garlic aioli on it; it would have been unseasoned. My boyfriend's scrambled eggs were watery and he had to send it back two times, but his sourdough French toast was superb. I actually wanted his food instead of mine. The ambiance was chill themed and vibey. Not bad for a French cuisine.

Yelp
I knew by the pictures of this place that it wasn't going to be my favorite. It was cute inside but pretty small. The food was only OK. I got a chicken salad sandwich, which was probably a 6.3 out of 10 and the chips on the side were really not that good. The mocktail sangria that I got was my favorite thing. I'd say that was a 9.5 out of 10. Server was super nice and the food came out really fast as well for being how busy it was. we had reservations but we heard other people who were walk-ins had to wait an hour and a half! Not worth the wait, but if you can snag a reservation then that's the only time I would say it would be worth it to come. but all in all I won't be returning back here.

Yelp
We have loved Willa's for brunch so thought we'd try her out for dinner! They have a wonderful happy hour til 6 with $10 cocktails. Ambiance inside was intimate, homey, and relaxing -- very cute and demure. The lavender wildfire was absolutely delicious, just wish it was a lil bigger than a few sips. My boyfriend loved the honey old fashioned. For apps, rosemary focaccia was well done. Star of the show was my steak salad (a salad, I know!). I subbed the ranch for their green goddess dressing and was so glad I did. The steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare (and a generous portion), served with pecans, dates, roasted carrots and blue cheese. I've never had dates on a salad before, but they added the perfect sweetness to balance the steak and blue cheese. YUM! My boyfriend loved his steak sandwich, served on fresh ciabatta with caramelized onions and jalapeños.

Yelp
Visited Willa's for brunch over the weekend and I will definitely be back! Everything I had was great! The sourdough French toast is so tasty and I loved the whipped ricotta with it. It wasn't overly sweet. We also had the chips and dip appetizer which was just ok and the eggs and bacon was very tasty! Not sure how but their eggs were fluffy and tasted buttery and perfect! Also pictured is the granola breakfast yogurt which was also very tasty. Loaded with berries and toppings! We were seated outside which was a bummer because I really wanted to see the inside of this place but it was an hr wait. The outdoor seating area can use some fans as it was extremely hot and not all the tables had umbrella coverage. Overall I really enjoyed my dining experience at Willa's and I would definitely check them out if you haven't already been!

Yelp
I came in on a Sunday with my cousin to check out their brunch menu. A-ok worthy 3 stars for overall experience because of my friendly server. My server service is definitely attentive & great! I'd like to note that. Key notes - crème brûlée which is one of my ultimate favorite is by far most disappointing. As you can definitely see in my picture that the crème brûlée has absolutely NO vanilla bean whatsoever. In the menu / that was the description.. (sad) Fries were a tad salty / chicken drier than expected.. & both drinks lack deep nor flavor. The side dish mac & cheese was cheesy yet basic. I'm fine with the up charge in cost for Mac & Cheese - but a charge separately for sauce ( ONE ) that wasn't to my knowledge was a definite ripe off. Perhaps it's my high hopes on to a very cute spot.

Yelp
This restaurant was one of the times where my husband picked a place to eat and absolutely popped off! We weee in Tampa for the weekend and enjoyed a nice brunch at Willa's right outside of the Hyde Park area. We arrived early for our reservation but were still able to grab a seat at the bar while we waited for our table to become available. We were able to enjoy a cappuccino and their aperol drink which were the perfect way to start off brunch! Once the table was ready we ordered almost right away since we had time to review the menu. We each had the chive cheddar biscuit as our appetizer, and for our entrees I had the sourdough French toast an my husband and his friend had the croque madame. The only regret is we didn't have more stomachs to fills with more food! The French toast had a great balance of tart and sweet with the lemon curd and berries! I'm dying to come back and try this place again just to have more items on the menu.

Yelp
First time in this area visiting friends and so glad we tried this spot! Our lattes were amazing and everyone loved their food. I got the huevos rancheros & would highly recommend!

Yelp
Their cocktail program is really cool! They have interesting ingredients and I've watched them make parsley juice for some cocktail while sitting at the bar. The food is also really tasty! I'm obsessed with the broccolini sandwich. Staff is really friendly and the vibe reminds me of Europe. Casual but cool earthy decor with outdoor seating too

Yelp
This is a one of a kind place located in North Hyde Park! I really wish they would build up this area more and add additional bars / restaurants, but for now, Willa's is one of the dominators. I had a party of 3, and we were able to get in without a reservation. They also have a walk up counter for coffee/small bites. It is very open and clean inside. Our waitress was friendly and on time. I don't believe they have a super large menu for brunch. I feel like they were missing a lot of staple options that would be available at other places. I'm not really sure exactly what they are known for. The homemade chips were really good, so I definitely recommend those. We didn't do drinks as well, so I have no comments about that. Overall, I feel like Willa's is a good option for the area, but I wish there were more near it!

Yelp
Busy coffee spot in Tampa. Ordered the fig latte and it was pretty delish. Quick service and good coffee. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
I finally checked out Willas since it's on my side of town and I went there on a busy Sunday when they were all booked up for brunch so I sat at the bar with a couple friends. It was strange though because they told me that they were booked up and they didn't have any tables, but we sat there for a couple hours, and there were several tables that were still open and never taken that could've been easily sat for three. The rotisserie chicken was delicious. I definitely think it was worth the near $30 that I paid for it because the flavor and texture was perfect. It was not dry and very well seasoned. My friend had the chicken salad sandwich and I took a bite of that and it was very delicious. I originally ordered a coffee to start with since it was a little earlier in the day, but the bartender never came by to ask if I wanted to drink anything else and I was thinking about getting their green juice vodka drink, but I never did get the opportunity to order it. The service was indeed a little bit slow. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the coffee was exceptionally strong.

Yelp
Delicious coffee excellent customer service beautiful location we loved everything about this place .

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday to finally check this spot out with a friend. Thursdays is happy hour all day. We split the Bacon Cheddar Disco Fries, the Three Cheese Macaroni, and the Charred Broccolini Melt. All these items were delicious and perfect for splitting. The macaroni could have been cheesier. Service was okay. Our waitress seemed a bit busy. Had to ask two other staff members for items and more water.

Yelp
I've been to their coffee shop before, but I didn't realize that a restaurant was attached! Very lively and lovely spot, my only complaint was about the wait being a little long, but that's to be expected on a Sunday morning with everyone having a family brunch. Brought my mom and my aunt here, and we got some drinks while we waited for our table, the drinks were a bit pricey and not too generous, especially for the espresso martini. However it was worth the wait for the amazing food that we got! We split the sourdough french toast which was unbelievable! I loved the combination of sweet and savory with the ricotta and lemon curd, so delicious, and what's even better is that it was sourdough!! My steak and eggs were so delicious, with an outstanding chimmichurri sauce. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich was also very flavorful, and don't even get me started on those grits, mm mm mmm! The french onion soup was decent, my aunt thought it was a little too garlicky rather than oniony. Overall pleased with this spot, very cute and delicious!!
google avatar

Yelp
I came to this restaurant after seeing the beautiful pictures and advertisements on Instagram. I walked in around 7 on a Friday and they had plenty of tables open. The ambience in the restaurant was calm and the lighting was nice and low to set the tone. The outside section was also beautiful. We started off with the chimichurri wings which definitely could have had more flavor. My main dish was the steak frites, which was cooked pretty well and came with fries. The fries weren't anything special, just crispy and greasy. For the price, I would have expected something more flavorful with better side options. The chicken frites were great and the service we received was outstanding! All in all, I think this is more of a "light bites" restaurant, not a full main course dinner restaurant, which I wish I knew beforehand. I'll definitely be back for cocktails and light snacks soon!
google avatar

Samantha E.

Yelp
I visited Willa's for dinner on a weekday with my husband. We were well over due to try this place as we live nearby. We did not have a reservation but were seated quickly and asked to sit outside which was not a problem. Willis has a parking lot directly adjacent to the restaurant, so parking is not an issue. Our server was attentive and came over quickly to see if we wanted to drinks and bring water. We ended up ordering the muscles and fries as an entrée and the beef tartare appetizer. This was plenty, and both dishes were excellent . I recommend checking out the nightly specials as they have buy one get one schnitzel on Sundays, which I will definitely be back for. We will definitely return to Willa's. I really want to check out Bogo schnitzel on a Sunday.
google avatar

Megan F.

Yelp
When I first walked in the hostess asked if I had a reservation. Thankfully it wasn't very busy around 2 pm on a Sunday, so I was able to get a table in under a minute. My husband ordered a mimosa ($10) and I got a Cucumber Southside ($15) but with vodka. My waiter recommended my drink and I think it was very refreshing. I ordered the broccolini melt ($17) which was delicious. My husband ordered the potato onion latkes ($14) and the rotisserie chicken frites ($29). The latkes tasted really good and the dips they came with it were so good. I personally liked the scallion dip better, but my husband preferred the apple butter. I think the apple butter would be really good with toast or something else.

Yelp
Willa's always has great food and service. I love the open and earthy feel of the restaurant.

Yelp
We went here for a birthday brunch for my mother-in-law and everything was excellent! We were literally the first to arrive (had a reservation) at 9am but started to get pretty crowded an hour later. We had Bailey as our waitress and she was fabulous. She was patient with our larger party order and gave great suggestions, order the Oatmilk Latte with Earl Grey syrup! So good!
google avatar

Jadah H.

Yelp
Willa's was a new place I tried with a friend for brunch. We sat at the bar, just something more casual for the day. I thought the ambiance and restaurant style was very cute and bright. There is a coffee shop portion to the business and then another area is the restaurant portion. People were studying on one side and the other they were eating food and enjoying each other! The service was okay. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt considering the bartender said they were down someone.. she was definitely busy and tried her best. I'm sure it's better on a day they are less busy. Now onto the food... the mac n cheese was phenomenal!!!! Sooo good. The chicken salad was also great. The Bloody Mary tasted like shrimp cocktail. The recipe is house made but I felt like I was drinking an appetizer from the sea, lol! It was still drinkable, but just a warning! The prices were kind of high in my opinion. I avoided getting actual breakfast because of the price being so high for a normal breakfast platter style meal! Overall, okay! Would come back potentially, but wouldn't be my first choice.
google avatar

Yelp
An aesthetic breakfast a day keeps the doldrums away. If you dream of avocado toast, matcha lattes and whimsical decor like I do, then Willa's will be your next favorite breakfast spot in Tampa. The decor is so cute, a midweek breakfast here is quiet and relaxed, the service is attentive and very friendly, and the food and beverage are delicious! I had a matcha latte with oat milk, and they serve a generous portion - hot or cold - with perfect flavor. The avocado toast was filling and delicious, and the toasted bread under all that avocado was even pre-cut to make it easier to eat. Nice touch!
google avatar

Yelp
Willa's proved to be an excellent lunch choice, offering a delightful dining experience. Our waitress was friendly and provided helpful suggestions for both drinks and food. The decor had a charming, airy feel that added to the overall appeal. As for the food, each dish lived up to expectations. The Pork Belly Disco Fries served as a yummy starter, setting a positive tone for the meal. The Classic Chicken Salad Sandwich was a refreshing and light choice, while the Smash Cheeseburger, though simple, delivered on taste. I thoroughly enjoyed the freshness and flavors of our selections.
google avatar

Theresa S.

Yelp
Popped in for lunch and Willa's did not disappoint. Inside is nice and bright with murals painted on the wall. Our server was very nice and attentive. The Huevos Rancheros and Avocado toast are excellent choices for breakfast or brunch. The standout to me was the chicken salad sandwich, the bread was divine and the chips had a delicious seasoning. Probably one of the best restaurant chicken salads I have had. I noticed they also had a very nice cocktail selection as well. Overall a really nice spot in Tampa with its own cafe attached next door.

Yelp
Overall visit was 4.5/5 Food: 4/5 ordered the chicken schnitzel and the rotisserie chicken and the focaccia bread for an appetizer. The focaccia bread was nice with just the right amount of herbs. It was nice and fluffy. I was debating between the special, which is the duck risotto and the rotisserie chicken. But I was told that this place was known for the rotisserie chicken. And the rotisserie chicken did not disappoint. All the pieces were and juicy. The salsa Verde on top was the amount of tang and herbs to the chicken. It was well seasoned. And the french fries are nice and crispy. The chicken schnitzel was also pretty good. It was nice and crispy in the outside and the broccolini was well flavored. The only critique I have on the chicken schnitzel is that I think that the chicken breast could be marinated in order to get the flavor throughout the chicken before frying and battering it. Otherwise, a great dish as well. For dessert, we got the strawberry rhubarb soft serve. I think that the soft serve taste mostly like strawberry with a hint of rhubarb. I would like a stronger rhubarb taste if it was going to be advertised as a rhubarb soft serve. However, the texture was nice and creamy and soft. I would've never thought that it was dairy free because of creamy it was. Would still give it a huge recommendation. Service: 5/5 our server was super kind and very patient. Efficient and accommodating. Food came out really fast. If our server wasn't nearby, another server would come by to make sure they were doing OK and if we need anything. Ambiance: 5/5 really cute place. With lots of cute decor. Nice place to go on a date, however, can still dress a little bit more casually.

Yelp
I went to a late lunch with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. She had a breakfast sandwich with grits and a latte. She said it was very good. I had a burger with avocado added and fries. It was also pretty good. We both had the house sangria which was delicious and on happy hour for $10. Our server, John, was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very chill and comfortable. Also, please note that there was an automatic 20% gratuity.

Nicole W.

Yelp
Ordered the mushroom omelette, all I can say is that was no on omelette, it was powdered eggs with cream of mushroom soup poured on top, with some lettuce. Skip it and this place.
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
Great for brunch! I got the mushroom omelette and it was delicious! The service was really attentive and helpful as well. I found the menu sort of pricey for brunch, but it was very good.

Yelp
Made a reservation ahead of time. More than enough space in front of the restaurant for ride-share pickup and drop off. Spacious, cutely decorated space inside. Check in process was easy and straight forward for a large party. Server was attentive and friendly, and made great and honest recommendations. Was happy to answer questions and to make modifications to orders to accommodates different members of the party. All of the food/dishes ordered tasted great. Drinks were fun and delicious. The ice cream/gelato dessert was especially a hit. The large group had a great time here. 5/5 - Will absolutely be returning in the future.

Yelp
Wow just wow this place is/was fantastic! I am telling you I loved it so much that I went again the next day and it's not close by. I live in Wesley Chapel so it was maybe 45 min in the am but well worth it. Food, staff, location it's all amazing. Definitely a great spot to do work. I love that it's Willa's and Willa's provision basically they have just the coffee shop and then the restaurant next to it separated by a door. As I write out this review I'm already thinking of going back. The decore in this place is very nice as well just all around great location.

Yelp
This place is beautiful. It's clean, it's vibey, the wall paintings are gorgeous. I love that the staff doesn't have a uniform, it makes me feel like I'm just at someone's house and they're serving me up some lunch, cozy feeling. I got a cappachino to start with oat milk and vanilla and it didn't stand a chance. Although the art was beautiful I didn't even wait to admire it and gulped it down in seconds. For my meal I ordered the roasted chicken frites with chimmichuri! Wow wow wow wow wow. This was delicious, most of it comes on the bone but they do slice the breast for you which I appreciated. I need to come here more often and I haven't been since they opened as it is tucked away. Service was fast and kind and I believe the bartenders name was Katie! I was in and out in under 40 minutes. The bill was $38 not bad for a half a chicken with a special order cappachino and a mountain of fries.

Yelp
First time here and definitely not the last! Lunch was charmed and memorable. Place was busy with a possible wedding rehearsal, shower or the like. But server was attentive and not rushed. Bright and airy with the right amount of panache. Food was spectacular. The cucumber ceviche had a great seasoning and pick up toss me around flavor punch. Classic chicken salad sandwich was flavor forward. I still remember the well toasted bread not hard with the bit of saltiness along with the creamy chicken salad that wasn't overly smothered so I could taste the protein and fixins. The pickle was a crunchy delight. What more can I say!?! Enjoy!

Ambiance: Food: Drinks: Price: I lived at Noho flats for three years and loved the ambience and food here. The decor is amazing. It's so aesthetic and welcoming and I'm not even surprised it was featured in architectural digest. I went back when I was in town last week during restaurant week and had their special which was a steal! $35 for 4 courses. Started off with the cucumber ceviche with was vegetarian and really yummy. I loved the citrus flavors. My friend had the ricotta toast which I tried and was a great portion and yummy, but nothing special. Next was the highlight of the meal - the house salad. It was DELICIOUS. So fresh with amazing dressing and the crunchiness of the pepitas was amazing. My main dish was the crab pasta which I loved the thinness of the noodles with rye crab and peas. It was really good and not too heavy for a pasta. Last ended with the cookie which was rich and decadent, a little TOO decadent so definitely something to share. Overall it was a large group and our server was wonderful. Will continue coming back.

Yelp
Their simple iced lattes are one of my favorites in Tampa Bay! Also, I am a huge fan of French fries and they have the most perfect, crispy, shoe string fries around! And if you love them loaded like I do, try the disco fries. They should call them comeback fries because I've def gone back more than once for those. I would also suggest making reservations esp for brunch on the weekends!

Yelp
I absolutely love Willa's! Second time here and always great food, excellent service. Especially Katie - she makes great drinks and has green highlights go when she is working They are upscale but make it home for me and my pup. And portions are great though it is an upscale type of resto. I love the little paintings on their wall and decor during holidays. I came over in December and prayed to be back with my pup and here I am. Thank God I see myself becoming a regular here!

Yelp
My friends and I came to Willa's for the first time on a Thursday evening and we were delighted to discover that it was happy hour all day. The house cocktails were all $10 each and it was $2 off all snacks and appetizers. I got the Sign of the Thymes cocktail, which I loved! It was smoky, well balanced, and refreshing. We ordered the Rosemary Focaccia as a starter to share amongst the 4 of us. The garlic confit butter on the crunchy light bread was very flavorful! Our food came quickly, maybe even within 5 minutes. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, which was delicious. The chicken was thin, crispy, and the German mustard sauce was so good that I asked for more! The side salad was fresh, and it complemented the chicken very well. Our server (I forgot her name) was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, Willa's had a chill and cozy atmosphere, and I highly recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
Willa's was great with the exception of one small mishap. I got the chicken schnitzel and loved it, but my friend said there was an overpowering vinegar flavor. However, our server handled this perfectly. She quickly got another dinner for him which was the squash pappardelle and he was happy with that. The steak frites were also the star of the show for a few at the table who ordered (I got to try and it was indeed delicious). The focaccia bread and butter was TOO DIE FOR. The butter was so good! The restaurant itself is very cool with a huge door and very modern fixtures.

Yelp
The first time we were there it was great. The plates were tasty, well put together, and the service was attentive, accurate, friendly. Based on that experience, we went again. Awful, I don't know if they changed owners or what, but, what a total letdown! The bagel with salmon was absolutely, totally plain. Just some salmon, inside a bagel, some tomato and sprouts. Totally artless. Not bad tasting, but, seriously? It's like something I would do. The huevos rancheros were visually ugly, a mix of tastes, kind of brownish thing on a plate. The coffee that they refilled us with, the guy came out with like a coffee maker, filled about half our mugs, evidently, the coffee was burned or something, because it tasted awful. Not going again, for sure.

Yelp
We stopped in for some lunch before heading to the back parking lot for Seltzerland. We were able to walk up and be seated right away. The place was busy and the vibe is cool. Sort of like it sounds be on the strip in Miami. Restroom was opposite--not clean and very dark lighting. Food, we ordered a variety to try. Hubs and I shared the chicken salad sandwich and also got the Mac and cheese and pork belly fries to share with the table. Chicken salad was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Served on toasted sourdough bread so the crust of the sandwich was hard to bite into. The Mac and cheese was good. But the winner was definitely the fries!!! I literally couldn't let any go to waste!! Sort of reminded me of poutine with extra flair. I'll definitely be checking this place out again!!

Yelp
I had this place on my "to-go-to" list for quite some time. I finally made it and for my first visit, I went for brunch. It was a nice place to walk into, big, open (after first walking into the coffee shop - so it's not well marked - or I just didn't know the entrance was on the opposite side of the building from the parking lot as well as the gravel overflow parking lot.) The service was friendly and the coffee had good flavor. However the prices are very high for the average taste and portions. And couldn't wait to use the bathroom when I got home immediately following brunch. Unpleasant. I know. I kinda doubt I'll be back.

Yelp
Visited for happy hour on a Wednesday, plenty of parking, and service was very fast. The place is very pretty/ great for ladies nights, celebrations! Happy hour is Wednesday thru Sunday 3-6pm, $2 off drinks and snacks/appetizers: I tried Willa's fix which has a nice hint of lychee, great refreshing drink. We also got the macaroni and cheese, olives cucumber ceviche. All were good. Definitely want to come back for the other vegetarian options that weren't available for happy hour, heard the broccolini was good and the veggie sandwich. Also heard the coffee shop connected to Willa's/ Willa's provisions is great too!

Yelp
Went for brunch & wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is very cute & trendy so it was perfect for a brunch with the girls. We ordered drinks from the coffee menu as well as cocktails. The server gave the seasonal coffee rec which is the sweet potato latte. I made mine iced and subbed the whole milk for almond. It was AMAZING! I'm def going back for that. It comes with whole milk to make it more creamy. If my stomach could handle it i would def get it that way, because it would only elevate that creaminess. All of the food we got was amazing. The only complaint i had is the latkes. I was anticipating a true latke but it was just fried hash browns. The apple butter and sour cream was really good though, and it softened the crispiness of the hash. The beef tartare was also drowned in that sauce, i wish the beef stood out a little more. Besides those, the focaccia & biscuits were 5 stars on their own. I'll def be back for brunch!

Yelp
Food is great. Vibes are great. Drinks are great. Your servers (Keely!) are great. But why do you close so early?! You close 15 minutes after it gets dark in the summer! Can't tell you how many times we've wanted to meet friends at Willa's after a long workday around 8 or 8:30pm but everyone is afraid the kitchen and bar will be closed. At least on the weekends. Please!

Yelp
Nice experience at Willa's. Good service and ambiance. Friendly staff both the hostess and our server. They have a good happy hour which also applies on the weekends. I ordered the Steak Frites with grilled coulotte with chimichurri. My friend had the Chicken Schnitzel : panko-crusted butterflied breast with german mustard sauce, fresh lemon and a nice little side salad with tomatoes and onions. My steak was good but a little undercooked to my medium rare order. The fries were very good. The schnitzel was a good portion size. I like the decor and murals on the walls. It's nice and open, they have a large dining room and a bar inside and an outdoor patio area with several tables. They also have a parking lot in back as well as an overflow lot.
