The 11 Best Dim Sum Restaurants in San Francisco

"The size of the dim sum at this Richmond bakery will make you do a double take. Get bug-eyed staring at their frisbee-sized barbecue pork buns, extra meaty siu mai, and fried sesame balls that could also function as a door stopper. Everything is huge and delicious. Order one of everything you’ve laid your eyes on, because that’s just the right thing to do. Another perk to coming here: there’s usually less of a line than at Good Luck Dim Sum down the street. " - julia chen 1, ricky rodriguez

Wing Lee Bakery Review - Richmond - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"This snug, counter-service dim sum bakery in the Richmond—don’t confuse it with the next-door sibling Wing Lee BBQ—has mastered the art of huge portions that’ll make you do a double take. Metal trays and steamers are full of frisbee-sized barbecue pork buns, extra meaty siu mai, and fried sesame balls that could also function as a door stopper. The fact that you can be in and out of here with a full-blown meal in tow (and all for under $10) makes it easy to understand why locals and nearby workers always mob this place around lunchtime. Slide in line with them and get bug-eyed as you stare longingly at the pastry case. And note, cash-only." - Julia Chen

"My grandma also used to make these things called gai loong, and there’s only one place, Wing Lee on Clement Street, that we know of that still makes this dumpling. They’re particular to, I think, Toisan home cooking. It’s a glutinous rice dough that’s fried, and it’s very, very savory. It has dried shrimp, mushroom, and water chestnut. There are no pleats or anything. It’s just kind of a half-moon that’s crimped and then fried."

Google
Great dim sum champ on Clement Street that stays open later than the others, for people who like to have dim sum after work! Delightful staff, delicious dim sum, and low prices and make this the go-to spot on Clement Street for the afternoons!

Google
3 pieces for $3.95. Pretty rich and fatty siu mai, which my friend really liked but I didn't like that much. If you like richer and fattier things like wagyu then you might like this

Mihir Phadke

Google
Hands down one of the best dim sum spots in the bay! The dim sum is excellent and fresh (the BBQ pork bun is my personal favourite), the portions are generous, and the prices are very very affordable. I would highly recommend coming here.

Google
Take-out only. Wing Lee is a good spot to get buns and dim sum. Their line in the mornings is not bad, compared to the other dim sum restaurant on Clement. We had some egg rolls, pork dim sum (siu mai), pot stickers and a porridge. They didn't have Chinese donuts to go with the porridge. Awh. Since there aren't any tables inside, we resorted to sta

Google
Great food! Their dim sum is solid. Fast service and the place is super clean. Lady behind the counter was very friendly, provided excellent customer service and got my order perfect even though I was speaking to her in broken Chinese!

Google
So good! Just know it's cash only, but the lady behind the counter was super nice when I didn't have cash. I definitely went and got some and returned - pork buns both steamed and baked were awesome!

Google
Must stop dim sum. Shumai was delicious

Google
Usually the Dim Sum is fairly reliable. But not last week. The dumplings were filled with uncooked meat. So be careful.

Yelp
This has been a staple in my family for many years. My parents used to come get dim sum to bring home from here all the time. I stopped in recently to pick-up 30 har gow and 30 siu mai (10 orders each) for a potluck. The ladies there are always friendly and fast. Some other favorites I enjoy there are the taro dumplings (not usually available at other Chinese bakeries) and the sticky rice bao. Prices have gone up quite a bit but still worth every penny in my opinion.

Yelp
I grew up going to Wing Lee Bakery. As a child, my mom enrolled me into "Score" as an after school program a block away, and she would always take me to Wing Lee after it was done. It's been almost 30 years of coming here, and the food is still the same as I remember. The prices definitely is a bit higher, but paying about $4 for an order of 3 dim sum items is still more cost efficient than eating out. They recently reopened their indoor eating space, since it was closed due to COVID in the past few years. They have about 4 tables where you can sit to enjoy your food with soy sauce and hot sauce provided on the table. It's definitely nice as a grab and go. My favorites here are their steamed baos, pork siu mai, ha gow (shrimp dumpling), banana custard mochi (they don't always have this though), and their lotus wrapped sticky rice. They're cash only, and I recommend going early in the day because they get packed later in the mornings into the afternoon.

Yelp
Wing Lee is a regular stop for us in the Richmond. We picked up 3 steamed chicken buns, 3 bbq pork buns, 4 potstickers and 3 sesame balls - all for 20$. I usually go by 10am to avoid lines. Street parking is metered and fills up quickly. They are cash only and takeout only. The menu is straightforward, and the women working there are always nice and helpful. Per my dad's (SF native) definitive ranking of Richmond takeout dim sum spots: "Wing Lee: best dai bao Cherry Blossoms: best baked BBQ pork buns Good Luck: best everything else"
google avatar

Li Y.

Yelp
Anytime I see a line it peaks my interest to know more. So, even tho we had just ate lunch, I joyfully jumped in line to get a sampling assortment for later. And since "Good Luck" down the street was closed, this place looked like one of the most happening places on the block! Absolutely delighted with the vegetarian bean curd roll. They were plump and tasty. Think of them as a wrapped pocket of monks jai. Not as impressed with the other two items bought today. The skin on the shrimp dumpling har gao was very thick. Filling lacking taste. The potstickers also had a thick skin. Filling consisted of pork and vegetables and while not the best, they were tasty. Would order again. Will be back to try other items from this take out place.

Yelp
Quality/Quantity - In their defense, we got here late afternoon on Father's Day Holiday and as expected, there were slim pickings. Good thing my guest is not too picky. Got a bunch of dim sum and some porridge. Atmosphere - Small, a mainly to-go place. A few tables and seating. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 7pm. Metered street parking, good luck. Service - Good. Price - $30, I guess that is the going rate for what we got. Clement Street is fairly competitive, so I am assuming the prices reflect that...? I honestly did not even look at the prices, because if you are following, we just did a 7 hour drive from Reno back to the Bay. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success for what I believe 20+ years.

Yelp
Dishes (in order of best): 1. Hargow 2. Shrimp & chives steamed dumpling 3. Shu mai 4. Rice ball 5. Black bean moon cake 6. Baked bbq pork bun Logistics: -cash ONLY -street, metered parking -takeout only

Yelp
This place has such good authentic dim sum for such a good price! We ordered boxes and boxes of food and maybe spent $12 per person. Make sure to bring cash though!! To order, you stand in line and order at the counter, which has all the dim sum on display. The workers speak some English which is great for poor Chinese speakers like me lol! We got a huge assortment of dim sum, from dumplings to big pork buns to sew mai. Some notable ones were the baked BBQ pork buns (steamed ones are too doughy and not meaty enough) and the big pan fried potstickers. The taro dumpling was interesting, I had never had anything like it before but I liked it. The pineapple bun was disappointing because there wasn't any filling in it. There are some tables to eat at in the back of the restaurant, but I think people usually take their food to go. I will definitely be back for more yummy dim sum in the future!!
google avatar

Calvin T.

Yelp
After having lived in the inner Richmond for over half a year, this is still our go to spot for dim sum! They always get their siu mai just right and the har gow/chives har gow so delicious! We also enjoy the baos, chicken skewer, Chinese sausage bun, and sweets. Service is great and they'll always get you through the line quickly, just what we need at a takeout spot! They also reopened their dine in option for those who prefer that, there are a few tables inside, but there is no table service!

Yelp
Quick classic cash-only dim sum on Clement. Fast, easy and consistent. Cue up and either eat in or take away. Favorites here for savory include their har gow (shrimp dumpling), the shrimp dumpling with boiled leeks, their bean cake, and for sweet, the light, chewy coconut and peanut mochi balls or the crisp sesame balls with bean paste. A quick stop here hits the spot when shopping and walking on Clement, a solid 3.5.

Yelp
Love stopping in every time we're in the area! Large portions, fairly priced, delicious dim sum. I LOVE the baked char siu bao and the siu mai! Also grabbed the sticky rice with peanuts (I think it's Lo Mai Gai) which comes with some pork and salted egg, turnip cake and the potstickers. Little guy loves all of it and mama enjoyed it too. We also grabbed some to bring home and had to stand back in a line that started getting longer! Small area to sit down and enjoy your food. Line moves quick, staff is efficient. CASH ONLY as others have stated. Will be back again soon!
google avatar

Nisha P.

Yelp
Damn the steamed and baked buns were GOOD and affordable! The baked bun had a good ratio of filling to bread, the steamed we wish was a bit closer to that ratio but the flavor was incredible. I got a peanut mochi which was tasty but I wish it was a peanut butter filling rather than a powdered peanut butter filling. Definitely worth a try!

Yelp
Pretty decent well known bakery in the area. Their dim sums are on point. As a personal opinion, there were a bit too much rice on the lotus leaf wrap compared to other places. They're $5 a piece. Other smaller dim sum items were about $4 for 3 which is I believe on the pricier side for these places, but inflation I understand. All in all I would come back for the smaller dim sum pieces next time. Line up were out the door but the service was constant and a good constant flow. Would come back to try more.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went on a small dumpling crawl and out of the 3 that we tried this way, we found the their siu mai was the best. It was full of flavor and juicy. It is cash only so we did have to get some and come back. We also got their shrimp was also highly rated. The pineapple buns there are just okay, nothing too special.

Yelp
Another one of those, can't believe I didn't review it places. My friend was kind enough to point me here whenever I had errands in the neighborhood to get her two favorites: the large chicken bun and the pork and vegetable bun. This take-and-go dim sum shop is similar to stores that you would find along Stockton St. or Jackson St. in Chinatown but, must admit, the quality is more consistent here. I found a parking space about a block away just before noon and was going to pick up a few items before lunch but decided to eat first given the line (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=2FQkSmXVRmjOcCgHUQ1UkQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). I returned about an hour later and, of course, the line was longer (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=yeN2ZdJ7vPtEuDcCeU24FQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). There were two ladies manning the counter so the late was minimal, 10-12 minutes. When I reached the counter, I knew what I wanted and quickly ordered. I asked for a bag for $0.25 since I was carrying another bag with my lunch leftovers. When I got home after work, I tried one of the three shrimp gow (ha gow to most) (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=wDCL89D7iUWH8_e2cBMToA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q); the skin was medium thick and the filling was plump with a nice texture, soft with a slight crunch and not overly dry. Temper your expectations as these are not restaurant quality dim sum, built more for reheating or to be eaten right away. I left mine in the steamer too long in reheating and the skin was on the mushy side. My other purchase was a red bean paste banana cake (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=nWCkUwBeJvdoyt2mmvna8A&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) which I saved for breakfast the next morning. I really enjoyed this as the moistness and the generous red bean paste amount. I should have bought two. The lady who took my order smiled throughout our exchange and was especially appreciative when I left her a gratuity. I used to work around the corner at a bank so I am familiar with this neighborhood. I will always remember the Firehouse BBQ on the corner as well as the few remaining staples on this block, Green Apple Bookstore and Schubert's Bakery. I believe the corner Chinese deli is their sister business offering roasties (BBQ pork, roast duck, roast pork, and soy sauce chicken). They had a line too but slightly shorter than here. Will be returning periodically especially when in the area. You know I'll be going home with more than one banana cake next time.

Yelp
Great dim sum for solid prices. Visited during late lunch time, and the wait wasn't too bad. Be sure to bring cash, since they don't take card. There's a big variety of menu items you can order to go. I got the shrimp dumplings and shu mai. Both were juicy and tasty. The portion is generous, and they're rich with meat inside. They are great with black vinegar and a side of cucumbers. The BBQ chicken skewers are also flavorful. There's a smoky, sweet taste to the tender chicken. I like the slices of grilled veggies in them. A bit oily, but overall pretty good.

Yelp
Been coming here over 20 years. Great place to order food for parties, school functions like clean up days, teacher appreciation, class parties. Easy to order, reasonable, kid friendly. Popular simple menu for kids are the fried chicken, fried rice and mixed vegetables. Kids love it and adults too! Can call in advance and or within the hour and they can have it ready for your next gathering.

Yelp
We stopped by Wing Lee Bakery this past Sunday afternoon hoping to grab a snack for our flight. It was conveniently across the boba place we were gonna check out. Sadly, they didn't have any pineapple buns left, so my friend did not end up getting anything. The interior is your typical hole-in-the-wall Chinese bakery and the people who run the place speak Taishanese. BBQ PORK BUN - 2.30 I ended up eating this the next day and it was still pretty good. The pork was marinated well and I didn't think it was over-powering or too sweet. I wish I got more pastries to bring back, lol. I'm not sure what I was thinking getting only one BBQ pork bun. Also, this place is cash only!

Angelica G.

Yelp
First time trying their dim sum and this is definitely worth a recommendation. We ordered: (2 orders) potstickers- very good! Packed with meat and veggies in a nice, thick and chewy dough (2 orders) tofu skin wrap with noodles (stuffed bean curd)- doesn't sound appealing but it is very good! Try it! Stuffed sticky rice- two varieties. One included plain sticky rice with Chinese sausage and egg yolk, and the other was more flavorful which included sauce. Never had these before and I would order it again.

Annie L.

Yelp
Wing Lee's dim sum has good taste. However, what I do not like is the super thick and gooey shell on their dumplings like their Har Gao. When I bite in it, I got a bunch of dough and didnt even get to the shrimp yet! Their bbq chicken is a must try! Not as much variety as Good luck Dim Sum (this place got a lot more buns) but no rice bowls, chow mein, rice noodles, etc. Cheap eats in the morning..
google avatar

Kosey T.

Yelp
best chinese bbq ever, white rice, curry chicken & mixed vegetables. i love the selection of chow fun & salt & pepper chicken
google avatar

Katherine F.

Yelp
Wing lee is a staple spot on Clement with fresh dim sum and buns! The line moves fast and they are very quick taking orders. They are cash only so make sure to come prepared. The har gow is soft and well made. Steam pork with vegetable is light but could use more filling. There are no seats so all to-go!
google avatar

Nora F.

Yelp
Ordered the steamed egg custard bun, baked BBQ pork bun, pork sew mai, shrimp see mai, and sticky rice see mai. My favorites were the egg custard (always), shrimp see mai, and the baked BBQ bun turned out to be a surprise hit! The sticky rice was savory with chopped beef or pork (maybe spam?) pieces which were a little too salty for me. Similarly, the pork sew mai was kinda heavy. Did I eat it anyway? Of course Next time I'll try the BBQ side, which is right next door.

Yelp
What a bang for your buck. This is my go-to place for fried chive dumplings whenever I'm in the city. Service is fast and efficient but be sure to know what you want ahead of time so that they don't get angry with you for being indecisive. :)
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious, affordable, and worth the drive! Absolutely love this place! If we're ever in the city or craving dim sum Wing Lee is our go to! Great variety of steamed, fried, and baked dishes. Must try: *shrimp and pork shu mai *baked or steamed pork dumplings *fried chives and pork potstickers * shrimp har-gow *chives and pork har-gow Tip: There's always a line but the service is quick. Every time we go we wait about 10 minutes.

Yelp
Great place to pick up dimsum if you're in the neighborhood! Prices are cheap and service is quick!

Yelp
Yum. Baked pork buns rival Hop Shing in NYC's Chinatown!!! So happy to have found this small local bakery. So baked bbq pork buns are delicious. Crusty and golden outside and warm, soft, flavorful roast pork inside. The pot stickers are delicious too. Lightly fried with cabbage and pork inside. Just stopped by as we were driving and decided to jump out for snacks. Glad we did.

Yelp
Fun place to get dim sum. Either they didn't speak English or didn't care to. Pointing worked well and everything was delicious.
google avatar

Sandy L.

Yelp
Today I wanted to get some comfort food for lunch and I got the preserved egg, lean meat porridge, and the combination bun, but I was so disappointed with all three of the items I ordered. The porridge taste was good but I only got two pieces of meat for $4. The combination bun was bigger than my hand. But the ingredients inside the bun were so small, two slices of chicken, a quarter size mushroom, 1/4 egg and a half inch of Chinese sausage for $3.40. It's not worth it. :(
google avatar

Cynthia H.

Yelp
Great place to pick up dim sum. I used to wait in line down the street before Good Luck opened at 8am, but no more. Things I like that are better here than Good Luck: - big gai bow (chicken bun) has lots of good stuff - char siu bow (steamed) is full of meat - pork with preserved egg jook is tasty and thick, not watered down - beef siu mai is full of flavor - pork with peanuts zongzi is tasty and moist - chicken skewers are very tasty Hey - be sure to leave a tip! The two ladies work hard, are friendly, and don't make fun of you if you don't speak Chinese well.

Yelp
I tried this place because it was suggested as a popular place in this area. There were lots of options. All were pretty tasty and pretty good, for their old-school, more rustic, homestyle cooking. But, for the dimsum items I got, there is another local spot that is better, imo. I tried: 1. The sticky rice chicken wrapped in lotus leaf, which could use more seasoning. 2. The shrimp dumplings were on the small side, and the wrapper was a bit thicker and not as tender as some other places. 3. The fried taro croquette is my fave dimsum item, but this one doesn't have all the crispy bits on the outside. And they're smaller than most other restaurants. I could see it wasn't the right texture on the outside, but I got it anyways since, like I said, it's my fave dimsum item and I wanted the taste. 4. The shrimp/chive dumplings didn't have enough chives. I could barely sense the chive flavor. And the wrapper is the same as the shrimp dumplings, could be more tender and thinner. The roast duck I got from their sister joint next door was pretty flavorful. All in all, they satisfied my craving, but the food could be better.

Yelp
Use to love to go and get takeout dim sum from Wing Lee, but went recently to get the Big Chicken Bow and it was all bread and not much filling. I bought it and threw away half of the bun because it was too much bread.
google avatar

FoodJunkie S.

Yelp
You're not paying for customer service but you will get a deal on legit dim sum. Been coming here for over a decade. Love their taro dumplings, glutinous rice balls, and sweet mochi patties filled with either egg or black bean paste. . Rice porridge is tasty too!

This place is definitely not the best I've had in the city but it's up there. Prices are decent.

Yelp
My family and I got a bunch of dim sum from here for my bday. We tried: Ham sui gok (5/5) -- perfectly fried, filled with well seasoned meat/mushroom Siu mai (5/5) Har gao (5/5) -- the filling stayed in the wrapper unlike most I've had, delicate and delicious Egg custard bun (3/5) -- ratio of filling to bun is off, too much bun Dan taat (2/5) -- overbaked for the custard...everything was too firm and crust was too thick Chicken feet (4/5) -- standard black bean sauce and tender claws but not sure if it's worth $7/lb Wu gok (5/5) -- retried this after a few years and I really enjoyed this compared to the first time...although greasy, the textural contrast between the outside and creamy taro inside was pleasant Lo mai gai (3/5) Red bean sesame ball (4/5) Joong (5/5) -- really good with the mung bean and egg, standard filling without the peanuts Sweet n sour eggplant tofu (5/5) -- a little greasy, but solid flavor and eggplant was cooked perfectly Big bun (5/5)

Yelp
Came here to pick up food for late lunch party, and the amount of food I walked away with relative to the price I paid was crazy good! This isn't my go-to takeout dim sum spot, but my parents and ordered from here so I decided to give it a try. I came by around 330pm and the selections was a bit low but I still ended up with some fan favorites like the har gow, pork siu mai, potstickers and a couple different sticky rice. The har gow and siu mai was pretty good. I thought the potstickers and sticky rice were middle of the road. 3 pcs I think ran around $3 an order, and I got a ton of food for around $60. The amount of dim sum options are not as much as my other spot, but they got the classics which was what I was looking for,. I walked next door to their rice plate/hot food offerings and ended up with a whole peking duck, crispy pork belly, and 2lbs of fried rice. The crispy pork belly was hella good. fatty and greasy in all the right ways, and the duck was a hit at the party. For the whole duck it was $23 and the pork belly was $17. $4/lb for pork fried rice, all very good deals when ordering for a bunch of people. For feeding 12+ people, and spending around $120, people were full and felt satisfied with the meal. This made party planning a breeze, although I wish I would've hosted earlier because they were out of a bunch of dim sum items and it was kinda slim pickings. Overall, not a bad spot, would definitely be back for the peking duck and the crispy pork belly.

Yelp
One of the go to places for baked pork buns, other baked Chinese breadbasket food - always busy so that's the sign...

Yelp
Not bad if you are yearning some dim sum. Selection is not alot and you will have some hits and misses. Good: fried taro balls, chives dumplings Could be better: cha siu bao, other dumplings
google avatar

Yelp
Probably one of my least favorite dim sum places on Clement. IMH, their dim sum is not as quality as the others. Still, in a pinch, not a bad nom nom nom option when one is hungry and don't want to be in a long a** line. Oh, yes. Forgot to add that their Chicken Skewers are pretty darn delicious and affordable. Thanks Jennifer O. for mentioning this or else I would not have ordered this from a dim sum place.

Yelp
Thee best steamed pork buns I've ever tasted. Quick and fast service. Whenever we're in SF, this is a must stop.
google avatar

Sharon ..

Yelp
BBQ PORK BUNS here are the best I've had in so cal so far. Might be a short line out the door sometimes but they are quick so make sure you know what you want. Shrimp gow and tofu are a must have as well but the pork baos proportion is nuts in a good way.
google avatar

Sophia H.

Yelp
I had steamed BBQ pork bun, steamed chicken bun, shrimp gow, black bean rice cake, and sesame ball. All were good and filling. The buns were huge; there was definitely a lot of bread, but the meat portions were quite generous too--especially for the prices. I thought the chicken was okay and kinda bland, but the pork was tasty. And a special note about the sesame ball--it was so wonderfully crispy on the outside! I do think Lung Fung Bakery across the street has better pork buns (which are juicier and more flavorful). Lung Fung is also a bit cheaper--at least for the meat buns, which I was only paying attention--but their buns are smaller than Wing Lee's, so I guess for the price/portion ratio, both places are equivalent. But (pork bun) taste-wise, Lung Fung Bakery wins.

Joyce S.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday and there was a line out the door. They also sell BBQ next door and that also had a pretty long line. However, the line does move pretty fast. We got some har gow, siu mai, and pork dumplings. Everything was good and pretty standard. Prices do seem higher than what I remember from before but its consistent with most togo dim sum places.
google avatar

Benny W.

Yelp
I had been going to this bakery for many years. They have a good variety of dim sum and baked goods for reasonable prices. They're always fresh as well. My favorites are the shrimp dumplings, stuffed bean curds, sticky rice balls, chicken buns, fried tofu, shrimp celery dumplings, and the shrimp chives dumplings. I can taste the freshness of the shrimp in their dumplings. The chicken buns are so big and filling. The fillings in the chicken buns are shiitake mushrooms, Chinese sausage, chicken, and egg. I had also tried their banana cakes and chicken skewers. The banana cakes come in two different flavors. One has red bean paste and the other one has custard filling. The red bean paste filling ones are too sweet for me. The chicken skewers are fried and they're too salty. I wanted to try their baked buns, but they're always sold out. I guess I have to go there at 8:00AM when they open to buy them. Tip: They only accept CASH and close on Tuesdays.

Yelp
Take-out only. Wing Lee is a good spot to get buns and dim sum. Their line in the mornings is not bad, compared to the other dim sum restaurant on Clement. We had some egg rolls, pork dim sum (siu mai), pot stickers and a porridge. They didn't have Chinese donuts to go with the porridge. Awh. Since there aren't any tables inside, we resorted to standing at their neighbor's parklet. It was kind of fun eating porridge on the street. Good times.

Yelp
I usually come here Sunday mornings. Few times there was a short line other times, no wait. Not an expert with dim sums but this was is good to me. Some has a lot of cabbage fillings along with meat, understandable since meat ain't cheap these days.

Yelp
Came here to pick up some dim sum for lunch before heading over to Lands End for a picnic! Parked in metered parking and walked over to the bakery. There was a line of about 10 people before us and it took about 15 minutes before we were able to order. ~~Parking: Can be difficult to find depending on the time that you come b/c there's only street parking and most of the spots are metered. Make sure that you add enough minutes to the meter because the line at the Bakery can take a while! ~~Service: Fair. Because the staff knows that the line is long they try to rush through as many people as they can--so it's easier if you know what you're going to order ahead of time! ~~Best Part: Portion size, it's pretty comparable to Dim Sum Bistro (which is where I normally go). ~~Worst Part: Cash only--so make sure you bring enough cash for your food! ~~Tip: Scope out the menu ahead of time/think about what you want to order so that you're not trying to think about it while you're at the front of the line. ~~Return: Possibly

Yelp
Stopped by Wing Lee Bakery on Monday around noon and there was a line of customers waiting to order take out. Note it's take out only during this time. The line moved pretty quickly and I would say the couple of ladies working there are really efficient at fulfilling your order and getting you on your merry way! Ordered shumai (3), shrimp har gow (3), bolo bun, sticky rice wrapped in leaves, a peanut dumpling, and tofu skin wrap. My favorite is probably the sticky rice wrapped in leaves as its quite flavorful and there's pieces of marinated chicken inside. The rest of the items are pretty standard dim sum items and while I would certainly come back, I didn't find the food to be particularly unique. FYI, I was craving the thousand eggs pork congee but they already ran out by noon. Would certainly like to give that a try next time I come back.
