"Even if it wasn’t on the grounds of Colonial Williamsburg , the Williamsburg Inn would still ooze history and atmosphere. The English Regency-style property was built in 1937 by the Rockefeller family in order to accommodate the visitors who wished to see the newly restored buildings of Colonial Williamsburg.
