"Occupying 75 acres of Saranac Lake shoreline and run as a plush Relais & Châteaux property, this fiercely private, all‑inclusive retreat is accessed via a five‑mile single‑lane road and a locked gate reserved for guests. The intimate property has only 11 lake‑view rooms with fireplaces, is furnished with antiques and fine art, and offers nightly multi‑course communal dinners in a Great Hall; guests are sometimes fetched from the nearby regional airport. A formal dress code governs most evenings (cocktail attire generally, black tie on select nights).
