"Musical Melting Pot Located just steps from Park Hyatt New York, Carnegie Hall has hosted music lovers since opening in 1891. While it’s easy to admire its elegant exterior from many vantage points around the hotel, it’s worth visiting the famed music hall for a show or tour, both of which Park Hyatt can arrange. Carnegie Hall showcases the result of practice, practice, practice by orchestras, chamber music groups, and pop, world, and jazz artists, among many more. Famous names like Tchaikovsky, Judy Garland, David Bowie and many others have performed on Carnegie Hall’s three stages. The Rose Museum inside Carnegie Hall gives music lovers a chance to walk through the building’s long history with concert programs, photos, posters, and video to tell its story.
