I'm a West Eng gal so I usually take in what's going on in my 'hood, but it's always worth heading across town to Kitsilano too, because they do something rather unique from the usual street stalls and live music. Instead ofclosing off a major street, people throughout Kits host block parties with their neighbors. Some have dancing, some have music, some have couches, chairs and carpets in the middle of the street and some share chips and a drink together!
