"The ancestral home of Fanny Nisbet, who married British war hero Admiral Horatio Nelson, this former plantation is now a luxury resort, popular with luminaries from Great Britain and around the world. The plantation house, which was built in 1778, serves as the restaurant and bar, behind which an avenue of palm trees marches down to the sea, flanked by charming, standalone guest villas. At the beach, you’ll find a pool and the relaxing Sea Breeze bar—one of the most relaxing spots on the island to indulge in a “Ting with a Sting” (a favorite local drink made with CSR rum and grapefruit soda)."
