"A mysterious boulder balanced on a few smaller rocks. There’s a sound geological explanation, but there are of course some people who hope that the anomaly has mystical significance. The rock has graffiti on it dating from the 18th and 19th century as the road (an old stage route) has been a major road in the area for centuries. The rock is a glacial erratic left by the last receding glacier about 10,000 years ago. A few (very few) believe the rock is evidence of work of druids." - ATLAS_OBSCURA
