"One of Bon Appétit’s 50 Best New Restaurants of 2022, this sleek downtown spot certainly isn’t making a traditional lobster roll. But then again, nothing at Regards is traditional. Before chef-owner Neil Zabriskie found home in Portland, he spent years cheffing at New York City’s Tertulia, an erstwhile Spanish restaurant famous for its paellas. His new space is bright and beachy, which pairs well with the seafood-driven LA-meets-Mexico City-meets-Maine menu. Dive in and order the biggest wildcard on our list: grilled lobster marinated in lime shio koji and served with yuzu kosho adobo, Cotija cream, and house-made tortillas.
