"At an exceedingly cool bistro in Houston, the lamb dumplings—inspired by Turkic manti—are chubby, meat-filled pockets dressed with a spicy, tangy vinaigrette, thick dollops of labneh, and crisped bits of garlic. The wrappers are soft with a slight al dente bite, and the vinaigrette–labneh combination beautifully offsets the richness of the meat, creating a striking balance of hot and cold, crunchy and soft. Though they felt like an odd fit next to dishes such as pancetta croquettes and cavatelli with duck confit, the dumplings were so irresistible the reviewer ordered them twice and wished she could have kept ordering them." - ByPriya Krishna
