"Universal Orlando Resort has brought the world of Harry Potter to life for millions of fans, with its recreation of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley in its two theme parks. Now, you can enter the Forbidden Forest for the very first time with Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, which opens at Universal’s Islands of Adventure on Thursday, June 13. With Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Universal has created one of the most exciting roller coaster experiences in Orlando. This is no kiddie ride: With a 48-inch height requirement, the same as Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida, this outdoor attraction is intense, with a top speed of 50 miles per hour and plenty of twists, turns, and even an unexpected 17-foot vertical drop. The ride is what Universal calls a “story coaster,” interspersing brief scenes and dialogue throughout. It all begins in Hagrid’s Care of Magical Creatures class, where Hagrid and Arthur Weasley tell you about the day’s lesson, which involves some enchanted motorbikes thanks to Arthur’s infamous love for tinkering with objects from the muggle world."
