"One of my favorite slices, in my very own neighborhood in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is so good it had to expand to the West Village. It’s true, the lines are long, especially on weekends, but it's one of the few places in New York where the wait feels worth it. The workers are fast and friendly, making it feel like part of the experience. The slice itself is crusty on the bottom, and perfectly balanced—not too thin, not too thick. A fat dollop of fresh burrata on top is complemented by specks of salt and a few bright basil leaves. Red pepper flakes add a nice kick. It’s the pizza I always bring visiting friends and family to, the one that defines Brooklyn’s iconic pizza—simple, but brilliantly executed and absolutely delicious." - Kat Chen
