Retracing Harriet Tubman’s Steps on Maryland’s Eastern Shore

"While you’re in the area, take a short drive to the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center in Church Creek. This is the star attraction, and fills in the holes in the Tubman legacy. There’s a short film, plus interactive exhibits that include highlights of her life from the early years and slavery, to the railroad and the final chapters of her life. She never stopped fighting for others, especially women. She was a suffragist."
