"Old Florida vibes abound at this wine bar and restaurant, open for dinner only and located inside a 1940s cottage. Painted eggshell blue with yellow window trim and flowers overflowing on the balcony, it's impossible to drive by without wanting to stop. It's surprising to find such an elegant restaurant in casual Crystal River. If you're looking for well-prepared local seafood and continental cuisine, too (think rich French sauces and even escargot) there's lots to like. The she crab soup is my favorite starter, silky smooth and redolent of fresh crab with the perfect sherry bite. The wine is just as big a deal as the food.
