"I found the Freehand to feel like a ‘luxury’ hostel: you can choose private rooms so you don’t have to share a bunk, or much cheaper shared dorms if you don’t mind. The real draw is the strong sense of community among largely millennial guests rather than any in-room frills (there’s essentially no room service).
