"This isn't your typical Thai restaurant. Its colorful and eclectic interiors offer a high-end, luxe experience that feels truly transporting. It's telling that the only pad thai on the menu here is the whole Prince Edward Island lobster pad thai (market price), a decadent far cry from the pad thai takeout you order at home. The food here isn't the kind you slurp down in a hurry. It's the kind of food for which you slow down in order to savor. Go for the seven-course Tasting Menu if you can. At $150 per person, it's steep, but it covers the menu's most notable dishes. The bar leans into Thai ingredients like tamarind, panda, and kaffir limes. Try the Krung Thep, made with powerful Thai coffee, Thai basil-infused rye whiskey, amaro, chocolate bitters, and orange peel. There's also a robust list of wines by the glass and by the bottle, as well as a sake menu, and a good selection of Thai teas." - Todd Plummer
